*Once again the night sky was black. The only thing Aryanna didn’t like about living near a city was that you didn’t see the stars. Aryanna walked through the streets of New York, the night life booming with excitement. People moving about, going to a part, watching a movie, seeing a play. It didn’t matter what they were doing. The air of the town was wonderful. Normally she would go and find a place that she could bet and gain something, but she just felt like wondering right now. The troupe had put on some wonderful shows that day and she believed that it was now her turn to have some fun.*
*A smile crossed her face as she passed one place, then another. She finally stopped at a music store that seemed to still be open. She walked into it, glancing around. She looked at some of the artist that the store had. She had heard of some of them, but others seemed to be strictly American. She went to a box that played some music of a CD before you bought it. She then place the headphones over her hair and onto one ear, the other side behind her ear. She selected a CD and scanned the barcode. Hearing the odd music enter into the speakers She listened. It wasn’t her favorite thing, but it wasn’t bad.*

Once again New York never ceased to amaze him as he walked down on of the many streets of this maze they called a city. Owen had only been to New York a hand full of time, mainly when his father had an interview about his latest book, and very time it seemed like it was a different city at night.
All the buildings seemed to shine with all the neon light that were lighting up this city making it almost as bight as it was in the daytime, but while the people of this city wore bussiness atire then now everyone was waering more fun outfits as the younger generation were heading to clubs or movies and the older generation wearing dress atire as they went to a play or oprea.
Making his way farther down the street he was currently on Owen spotted a small music shop. While there were plenty of them on this street the thing that made this one stand out was from the fact that it was still open at this time of night. All the other shops like this had closed down for the night.
Deciding to step in for a moment as soon as he entered the shop he walked over to the classical music section. Finding something that caught his interest he walked over to the public cd layer and placed his selection into it and only a few minutes later a melody started filling the head phones.

*Aryanna looked up as she saw movement, a boy seemed to have the same idea as she did. She smiled at him as the demo of the CD ended. She took off the headphones and set the CD down. She moved to another section laughing a little bit when spotting the selection of music. It was supposed to be Irish folk songs, but most of them weren't. But none of these American city goers would know that, unless they studied Ireland or went there themselves. For Aryanna it was different, her family came from Ireland, well they also came from all over Europe.*
*She glanced around the store, she noticed that there were only three people in the room. An awkward young man who looked very nervous and by the way he kept looking at the clock, they were probably closing soon, or closed. There was also another boy, the one she saw a few moments ago. He seemed fairly attractive and about her age.*
*Glancing at the time herself she realized that it was around midnight. She could stay out a few more hours. She didn’t have to worry about getting to pretty tomorrow. All she had to do was help with the shows. That wouldn’t be too bad.*
*Going back to the CDs Aryanna kept moving around, she looked at all the different artists. Some looked weird, others looked....grose. What was with American musicians. Well it wasn’t too different outside she thought.*

As soon as the song ended Owen looked up at the clock that was hanging over head checking the time and seeing that it was a little past midnight Owen knew he had about thirty minutes before he had to get back to his hotel, and with nothing better to do, he decided to kill sometime here before heading back.
Removing his headphones and placing them back on the rack he headed back toward the classical music section where he started rummaging through the assortment of different types while staying mainly in the piano and violin sections since that was where his tastes mostly lied.
After making his selections of new songs Owen started making his way back through the store toward the public cd player to listen to his new choices. Deciding that it was shorter to go through the pop section he cut his way through, but because the store was empty he wasn't paying that much attention to where he was going as as such accidentally ran into someone knocking both him and the other person to the floor.
After a couple of seconds of waiting for the shock of falling to fade Owen turned his head to the side before mubling a quick sorry before standing up. He was never very good at apologies.

*Aryanna was suddenly, almost shoved to the floor. This doesn't usually happen to her. She looked at the person who did it, and it was that boy. He did apologize, but she barely heard it. Getting up on her own she fixed her hair a little. After cursing a little in Gaelic, she finally turned to the boy.* I’m fine, probably the shortest fall I’ve ever taken. *Her father being a acrobat Aryanna, as a child, would practice to just be like her daddy. She fell a couple times, that was until she learned about her power and how to use it for her gain.*
*The first thing the boy would probably notice about her was her accent, then either her non red hair or her eyes. Aryanna had a thick Irish accent, like her family she knew Irish and some other languages.*
*She then noticed the music that he was holding. it was classical music, seemed like it was piano or something.* Why do you listen to it on a CD when you could listen to it in real life? *She knew many people who were musically inclined. She just didn’t care much for it. But she knew people like her sister, who played the fiddle, and like her one of her cousins who could play any instrument she put her mind to.*

When the girl spoke in a forgin language Owen immediately racked his brain to figure out what it was, and going by her accent it had to be a dialect that came from Ireland. Decideing to give it a little more thought he turned to face the girl that he had knocked to the ground, she didn't sound to mad, in fact hse seemed like she was just brushing it off. Owen let out a sigh at least hse wasn't one of those drama queen types, he didn't know what he would've done if she had been one of those.
When she mentioned the type of muic he was listening to Owen looked down to the choices he had made and then looked back to the girl. “I do, I actually play a lot of these instruments. However listening to other people play, or listening to the orginal person's music helps with your own playing.” It was true listening to others did help you with your own playing. “Plus I collect this type of music.”

*To be honest Aryanna enjoyed seeing the boy try to think of the language that she had just spoken in. It wasn’t well known and she only knew the troupe to know it. Especially around here. Then he looked at her, what was he looking at? Why didn’t he say anything. Yes she was a female. She also sounded Irish but had blonde hair. That wasn’t new to her, but maybe it was to this American.*
That may work for you. *Aryanna didn’t play any instruments but she knew many people who did. And most of them just played the music. Maybe it was just that Aryanna didn’t like listening to the CD of music that her siblings and cousins could play.*
*Collecting that type of music sounded lame to Aryanna, but people were different from each other.* Well that’s fine, nice.....talking with you. And if you like that kind of music so much maybe you should go somewhere where they enjoy playing it. I hear there’s a circus in town. *She then turned and walked away, looking at some other music. She stayed close enough, in case the boy wished to speak to her some more, but he didn’t seem to want to talk, by how little he spoke and by what he said.*
