Phoenix was trying everything in her power to try and break free from the robot's grasp. It had a strong hold on her and nothing she did would loosen it. But that didn't stop her from trying. She would be damned if she was held down by a stupid machine. A pile of rubble soon if she had her way. Her anger flared and her powers pulsed but right now from her exhaustion they were no match for the robot's strong grip.
She pushed and pulled to try and pull herself free. Her eyes searched for Victor. Where the hell was he? She searched the crowd as she continued to try and pull free from the robot who held her. Her eyes soon fell on him. He was on the stage standing in front of Graydon along with a woman. What the hell was he waiting for? Graydon was in his reach. Why was he hesitating? This was what he was waiting for. What he had planned for so long, to have Graydon's blood on his hands.
The sentinel started to move towards the stage then. Was that a gun Graydon was pointing at Victor? It almost made her laugh. It would take a lot more to kill Victor than that. As she moved closer she could hear them. Victor looked upset then she clearly heard Graydon tell the sentinel to crush her. The robots hand slowly started to close around her. A pain shot through her body. Without realizing it she let out a scream. For once in her life she truly looked scared.

Victor snarled at Graydon as he lifted the gun at him. He almost wanted to laugh in his face. Did he really think a gun was going to do anything to him? Sure it would hurt, bullets always hurt. But it would take far more than that gun had to take him down at all.
It wasn't until he ordered the Sentinel to crush Phoenix that he got, well worried. As powerful as the woman was, she wasn't at her full potential and if a Sentinel had her it was unlikely she had the strength to get free. Once he heard that scream he knew that she didn't. The sound made his muscles tense and he saw that satisfied look in Graydon's eyes. Bastard.
Just as quickly as Graydon pulled the gun Victor let out an animalistic roar. He dashed forward, dodging past Freya with oddly fluid movement for a man his size. Those muscles weren't just for show. He took bullet after bullet from the wide eyed Graydon. Had he actually expected that those bullets would have stopped him? He enjoyed that look but that rage on Victor's own face was still apparent. He grabbed Graydon by his suit tightly and pulled back before shoving forward to slam the poor man onto the ground. He knew if he didn't make this quick Freya was bound to get in his way. So even though he wanted to savor this moment, he couldn't nor could Phoenix afford such luxury. He did take a moment to stare Graydon in the eyes. "You regret nothing...I regret nothing." It was all he said before Victor grabbed the arm that held the gun, dug his claws into his skin and ripped it from his shoulder.
Victor rose up to his feet and started down at Graydon as the man couldn't help but scream from the sudden shock to his body. "Watch your plans crumble in front of you while you bleed out." He grinned down at the man before his attention turned to Freya. She only got a glance, a quick look that told her she probably shouldn't do what he thought she would. Given her demeanor it was possible she could just turn around and act like she never saw anything. But now that she had tried to stop this all from happening so diplomatically, he had to give that look to hopefully deter her from cauterizing that wound he just created.
He really had no time to lose now as he moved toward the wall of the stage. Using those adamantium claws of his he easily scaled the wall then pushed his feet off from it. The leap brought him straight to the business end of the Sentinel and was quickly reminded that the robot had lasers at it's disposal. His flying attack was stopped short by a blast to his chest which sent him plummeting to the ground to land on his side. He felt the crunch of his shoulder being dislocated from the two story drop. It still wasn't something that was going to hinder him. Victor rose up to his feet slowly before thrusting his shoulder back in place with a growl. His healing factor was already repairing the damage as he rushed forward to slice his claws through the metal ankles of the towering metal man in front of him.

Genevieve flinched as the walls were torn down and the sentinels showed up. What the hell had she gotten herself into? Why couldn't she have just stayed in her damned apartment and finished unpacking? Her eyes grew wide as she looked up at the monstrous metal machines. Her jaw dropped. She had never seen something like this before. Not in all of her years being on this earth.
She started to run towards the stage. It seemed like it was the only place that wasn't crowded and she needed to find a way out. As she neared the stage she heard a growl. Her eyes shot up and she saw a man she hadn't seen in many years. She stopped dead in her tracks as she stared at Victor Creed. She had thought that he was dead. She hadn't seen him for over one hundred years. He was apparently a mutant. She was about to approach him when a metal arm came out of nowhere and grabbed her.
Genevieve turned to face a sentinel taking hold of her. She struggled for a bit then she pulled out her ipod and put the earphones in her ears and hit play. The music flowed through her mind as she projected it outside of her mind. A music scale made out of light appeared and started to fill with notes from the song that was being played. Her voice filled the void as she sang along. The notes started to spin and fly at the sentinel slowly cutting into the metal machine. The song was Evanescence, Sweet Sacrifice.

Anansi tilted her head a little as the one Sentinel with the spiders on it started to act like a little odd like it was freaking out was drowning them in spiders really working, It was hurting her baby’s she could tell some where dieing witch only made Anansi want to have more find an opening and do anything it could it was a good thing that this city had a lot of spiders in it or Anansi might be in a bit worried.
She continued to make more webs still not sure what she was going to do with them when she realized that she had caught another Sentinel attention well this was wonderful she wasn’t even sure if the spiders where working on the one and a second one was coming for her great she started to have the spiders that weren’t after the one Sentinel go after her new friend. She only had about five feet of web in each hand not enough to wrap around its legs and try to trip it and with its size she was going to have to make it a lot thicker to do anything with the web could maybe only hold her own weight this building was to knew for her to fall threw the floor what was she to do.
Anansi stepped back form the Sentinel her eyes fixed on her pray her mind reeling with idea what to do she new she didn’t have much time maybe a minute so Anansi did the only thing that came to her head tell something better came along she started grabing chairs and throwing them at the Sentinel in hopes of throwing it off gard to give her some more time to see if the spiders where really destroying the 1st one and trying to get more spiders to come for the second one.

Liam had just gotten off the stage when he saw a woman coming towards it. She looked like she was trying to get out of the fray, but a sentinel was after her. He wasn't for sure if she realized it or not, but he decided to head away from the sentinel he was going for before, to this new one that was after the woman. He heard a growl and scream come from the stage, but paid it no heed. He had learned long ago that being distracted on the battlefield lead to some painful things. The growl seemed to get the woman's attention though and she stopped. Liam started screaming for her to move in his head as the sentinel got to her and grabbed her. She had put something in her ear and then started singing.
Liam noticed the weird music bars show up and start hitting the sentinel. He was that she was doing this since it seemed to be distracting the sentinel from his presence. He picked up his speed into a charge and thrust both of his arms forward straight into one of the sentinel's legs. They dug all the way through to the outside of the leg, looking like the point of a large sword rather then two arms held together. He was just glad he had enough speed built up and the thing was distracted when he did this or it might not have work so well as he pushed his arms away from each other with all his strength. They slowly began to move away from each other at first, but quickly began to pick up speed as they got farther away from the center of the thing's legs until they cut clean through.
As the sentinel fell forward and put out it's free arm to catch itself, Liam ran toward the arm it had the woman in. He leaped at the sentinel hit the ground, and only managed to catch onto the arm thanks to his bio-armor forming hooks as he went to grab at it. He climbed up onto the arm and looked over at the woman.
" Don't these things know that you're not suppose to attack ladies?" Liam asked in a friendly tone of voice. " Now then, let's get you out of it's grip while we can."
Liam placed his hand between the thing's fingers and began to pull as hard as he could. It had a stronger grip then he imagined it would have. He happened to glance back as he was pulling on it only to see that one of the sentinel's was coming their way. Great news seeing how he didn't even have the woman free yet and this first sentinel was still working and could do who knows what still even in this condition.

As screams erupted from the rally, humans and mutants alike began to run from the building as gunfire erupted and massive metal titans landed all around the rally site. In the middle of the crowd that was pouring out of the building, looking a little like a salmon going against the current of a river, was a lone figure. The figure was massive, towering over the heads of every single person in the crowd, and was calmly making it's way toward the location of the chaos. Sharp horns curved in front of it's metal head and wicked curved spikes dotted it's metallic body as a strange black glow seemed to eminate from every little crease in the blood red suit, as well as from its eyes. To say the least, all hell had broken loose in New York, so it probably wasn't that much of a surprise to see the devil walking among them.
The closer the demon got to the building, or what was left of it, the thinner the screaming and running crowd got. As the dark figure approached one of the doors a massive metal wall suddenly slammed down in front of the door, blocking his entrance. As the suited figure slowly looked up he saw that it wasn't a wall, but the leg of one of the sentinels, which was staring down at him.
"How rude... I though' ye things were suppose' ta be dead or somethin'..." A smooth Irish accent flowed from under the skull shaped and horned helmet. Rory's suit was massive, standing almost eight feet tall with it on, but he looked like a midget compared to his titanic brother.
"STOP!... SURRENDER PEACEFULLY MUTANT!" The metallic voice rang out coldly in the empty parking lot.
Rory brought a figner up and tapped his helmet, making the demonic suit look as though it was deep in thought, "Peaceful... peaceful.... Damn, ye know, I left me dictionary in me other suit o' armor... Is this wha' ye meant boy-o?" As he spoke, he reached both hands behind his back and grabbed a hold of two small metal rods that seemed to grow out of the back of his suit. Pulling on them, and away from his armor, the easily followed as if he was unsheathing a sword. Though as he pulled on them, every spike and razor sharp edge on his suit followed as if attached like a rope. After a moment a long coil of razor metal hit the concrete, and then another; now holding two very long, metallic, whips.
The black glow that seemed to eminate from his suits eyes and cracks slowly melted downward and the whips began to glow with that same black energy, crackling and sparking to life and burning the concrete beneath them. Before Rory could even move, however, the metal titan raised it's hand and a metal chord shot out of its wrist, wrapping around Rory's arms and pinning them tightly to his body.
Glancing up at the sentinel, only a single word come from under Rory's helmet, "Kinky..." The metal chord suddenly sparked to life as electricty coursed through it, sparking against Rory's metal combat suit. Without even the slightest twitch it was obvious that the electricty wasn't working. With bored movements, Rory began to shimmy out of the electrical cable.
As he did so, with a movement much faster than any giant hunk of metal should be able to make, the sentinel raised it's hand again; no doubt preparing to hit Rory with something a lot harder this time. Not giving the behemoth the chance, a single whip crackled off the ground and snapped out at the sentinels hand, wrapping around it's wrist just as a laser fired from somewhere on the sentinels body. The shot hit just under Rory's feet, sending him flying, or at least it would have had his whip not been wrapped around the titan's hand. Instead, it simply sent him flying to the side like a pendulum.
As he swung back toward his robotic foe, the whip tightened around the Sentinels hand and the energy charged whip began burning through the metal like it was butter. Just as Rory was at the height of his swung in front of the sentinel, the whip cut through the titan's left hand, dropping it to the ground with a small explosion. Rory quickly popped a whip out, wrapping the tip of it around the sentinels right shoulder and used his momentum to swing around behind the behemoth. As he did so, the metal monster staggered to the right as the whip began to cut through its shoulder as well.
Halfway through his swing behind the metal beast, Rory reached out with his other whip and snapped it around the neck of the giant. Quickly, he pulled himself to a stop in the middle of the massive metal back of the giant, standing horizontally. He gave the whip around the shoulder a slight tug and it slid off of the shoulder, cutting through the metal with a hiss and causing the entire arm to fall slightly; only being connected to the body with a few wires and cables now. Popping the free whip around the titan's neck as well, he began to use the two to pull himself up on top of his foe, in turn causing it to stumble backwards as he pulled it's head back. He didn't stop until he had a foot firmly planted on either shoulder.
Taking another wrap with each whip around the titan's neck, he began using the whips like a horses reins, pulling the staggering sentinel where he willed it, "I always... wanted.... a pony..." Rory said through gritted teeth as he used all his strength to turn and contort the head of the metal giant; forcing it to turn and begin staggering into the middle of the rally site as he looked for his target atop his metal mount. He would have to act quickly though, the whips were already burning through the metal and before long his steam powered pony would lose it's head.
Finally he saw what he was after on the stage all the way across the building. With a pop of his 'reins' and a loud, "Giddy-up!" Rory began forcing his new steed across the rally site toward his target, crashing through chairs, walls, and even knocking into another sentinel on his way there. By the time he was getting close, many of the other sentinels began turning their cold gaze on him and his loud mount as it staggered through the rally site. He didn't care though, they weren't bothering him, so he didn't give a damn about them.
Just as the began to reach the stage, the poor pony couldn't keep it's balance any longer and hit it's knees. Then, like a miniature executioner, Rory gave the whips a rough jerk and sawed straight through the neck of the sentinel before it could even completely fall to the ground. As it fell, a small explosion erupted out of it's neck with a crack like thunder, and a chain reaction followed in it's chest, causing the air around the sentinel to fill with fire and smoke. After a few moments, movement could be seen from behind the thick black smoke as a large armored man stepped away from his kill. The whips were no longer in Rory's hand, but his eyes and the crevices of his suit once again had their eery black glow and his suit was once again covered with spikes and razors.
Making his way toward the stage, as if he hadn't just taken on a fifty ton titan, he glanced around at the chaos around him. Seems, he wasn't the only one that was fighting a sentinel, but most weren't faring as well as he had. Their problem though, not his, he was after something far more important. Slowly stepping up onto the stage he pointed at senator Creed, who he recognized from watching this whole thing play out earlier, "You!..." He quickly raised his right forearm and pointed to a small spot where the blood red paint seemed to be chipped away, "Yer piece o' shi' robot dinged me armor ye bloody ginny..." Though he doubted the man was very concerned considering his arm seemed to be missing. Why was he missing an arm? Hell if he knew...
Quickly Rory turned his pointed metal finger at Freya, and from behind his demonic mask the Irish voice flowed once more, but a bit more quietly this time "And you..." He said, closing the distance between he and Freya, towering over the french red head. Then he quickly bent down, wrapped one arm around her waist, and threw her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, careful not to slam her down onto any spikes.
Then just as calmly as he walked into the building, he turned on his heel and with Freya over his shoulder, began making his way toward the exit, "Ih's time fer you ta leave, alainn..." As he spoke he glanced over at her, or at least at her feet considering her head was on the other side of his shoulder as he began to make his way out of the building. Sadly... Her feet would probably be more willing to listen to him than her head was going to be...

To be honest, Freya was ignoring the Sentinels. They wouldn’t come after her… Or she hoped. If they did… Well, things would get very interesting, very fast. So, instead, she kept her focus on the two Creeds. Trying to convince one to stop, and the other… Well, not to kill the one in charge. And it wasn’t working out all that well. Graydon wasn’t budging an inch, trying to justify his ruthless antics, while Victor…. Seemed to be fuming. ”Order will never arise from chaos. What you are doing will only make things worse.”
The gun being drawn started the woman, but her expression never changed. Things would be a lot different if it’d been aimed at anyone but Victor Creed. ”Then keep your personal affairs between the two of you. Don’t drag hundreds of people into you’re little grudge.”
Sadly, Freya’s ignorance of the Sentinels had let the one holding the blonde haired woman go without her notice until the scream. Truly startled this time, she jumped, her gaze breaking away from the Senator to find the source of that chilling screech. Her eyes widening. Was the Senator really trying to publicly execute the woman?! That was barbaric! Like hell she’d stand by and watch like an idiot! Sure, it would go against her promise not to get involved… But how could she do nothing? Taking a few, quick steps towards the sentinel, yet another disaster unfolded before her eyes.
Victor zipped right past her and gunned it for the Senator. Shot after shot rang through her ears, followed by the gut wrenching sound of flesh being torn apart…. And finally a blood curling scream. In only a few seconds, the few her attention had been on moving to aid the woman, she’d failed to do the one thing she’d sought out to do. Protect the Senator. And now she was torn. Aid the Senator who WAS dying, or help the woman who WOULD die otherwise. She didn’t like the man, but could she honestly look the other way? If he died, things would go from bad to worse for mutants… If he lived…. Well, the same outcome. It finally came down to if she wanted to get even more on Victor Creed’s bad side.
Freya was still trying to decide what to do when she got that look, that dare to try and same him. And then Victor was gone, taking off to help the woman. Well, that was that… Now she just had to decide if she should help the Senator or not… A few seconds passed.. Before she came to a conclusion. He wasn’t a good man, but she couldn’t turn her back on him. To hell with Victor’s warning!
Kneeling down next to the Senator, who was still wailing in agony, she didn’t touch him, her gaze on the wound. His arm had been ripped clean off. Cauterizing the injury… it wouldn’t be easy. But it never was. Without even looking to see if Victor Creed was watching, she reached out, her hand turning brilliant red from intense heat, pausing just before her hand touched the wound. ”Senator… This is going to hurt, but I can’t imagine it being worse than before. Please, try to stay still.” Then, with no hesitation, she pressed her palm up against the stump. Her hand hadn’t turned red for nothing, so hot any flesh that touched it would burn instantly, but… that was kind of the point. In only seconds she cauterized the wound… Just in time to see something… peculiar.
A Sentinel was approaching the stage. As if that was unusual. What was odd though… Was the fact that on top of the Sentinel stood a towering, red figure. A very, very familiar red figure. What. The. Hell?! Freya’s expression was one of absolute confusion as she watched for several silent seconds. After a few moments though, confusion gave way to a wide grin. She really had to hand it to Rory, he knew how to make an entrance when he wanted to… Jumping to her feet, in an almost giddy fashion, she stepped around the Senator, his injury already taken care of, her gaze intent on her demonic lover.
She wasn’t too happy he addressed the Senator first though, but instantly seemed to perk back up when Rory finally seemed to remember she was there…. Until, of course, he threw her over his shoulder. In only a fraction of a second she went from giddy, to absolutely FURIOUS. A string of French profanities escaped her lips as she fought her lover’s grip. Finally she seemed to settle down enough to actually breath… But she still wasn’t very happy. ”Rory, put me down!”

Victor's claws tore at the metal leg before him before he reached in and yanked out a few sets of wires. He wasn't sure if it was going to do any good but it was a start.
He paused for a moment as he heard the second scream from Graydon. A snarl came to his lips..blasted woman. Oh well he probably lost enough blood anyway. His claws were then driven into the metallic titan before him so that he could climb up its leg. He moved up used each hand as leverage with the claws inserted into the metal. He didn't stop until he was perched on the robot's shoulder. It was then that he noticed the strange sentinel heading towards them. The hell was that thing on it?
Oh well he had bigger things to worry about, like Phoenix in an iron grip. He walked over to the head of the sentinel, dodging the free arm that reached for him. Claws were dug into the head and dragged down like a knife through butter. He reached in again and grabbed anything that he could grab. Curcuits and wires were ripped out of the thing's skull. The Sentinel started to twitch and convulse with the lack of information able to move through its systems. While the robot did its own type of seisure, he moved away from its head and down the arm of it. He reached for Phoenix to pull her up into his arms once the grip upon her loosened.
He jumped from the current height while the sentinel started to fall backward into a inoperable heap. His jump wasn't graceful in the sense of landings but he turned to make sure that he took the brunt of the damage. His back hit the ground hard and knocked the wind out of his lungs. He laid there for a long moment, the fall had at least crushed his ribs and who else knew what really happened thanks to the debris on the ground. He was unconscious for sure and a nice piece of wood seemed to be protruding from his thigh. Luckily Phoenix had a nice muscular 'pillow' to break her fall.

The sentinel continued to squeeze it's hand closed around her body. She let out another scream as she felt her ribs cracking from under the pressure. She continued to try and break free not even seeing Victor ripping at the sentinel's body. Her eyes blacking out as she saw stars. She couldn't breathe her lungs were being squeezed to the point where she couldn't draw any air into them.
She tried to pull on her powers yet again but it didn't work. her mind was too focused on the pain. The next thing she knew the pressure was released and she was falling. Her body hit something hard. Not as hard as the ground but hard enough to make her wince from the cracked rips and the impact. She lifted her head up and came face to face with Victor. His eyes closed. He was unconscious underneath of her small frame. He had saved her? Why? He had the perfect chance to kill Graydon. Something he had wanted to do long before he had met her. Why would he throw that chance away? She could have gotten out herself.
Phoenix stood up. Her body shook with anger. Not only from the fact that she had to be saved and that she felt so helpless but at the fact that Graydon had threatened her and used her as a pawn. No one used her! Her powers kept building as her face formed a snarl. Her powers were so strong now her hair flew and looked like it was underwater. You could see her power forming around her body. It looked like heat mixed with a smog. The rocks and debris started to float around her. She found herself forcing her Disintegration Waves towards the stage making it disappear little by little. Her target set on Graydon. Everything forgotten except for her anger.

If Graydon had any strength to move he probably wouldn't have let the crazy woman touch him. But he couldn't move with the pain and now he screamed with a new sense of pain from the cauterizing of the wound of his arm. He couldn't do anything now, it was all too much for his body and he simply passed out. Unaware of the vengence of the Phoenix was heading his way.
Meanwhile the Sentinels were doing their best to capture whom they could. So far two were down for the count. One was infested with spiders and confused, and another was being torn open by music notes as well as getting a good bashing at the legs. Three others were off attacking various mutants and that left three that had just been standing there like stoic machines.
One's attention finally seemed to be caught by a mutant energy signature. "Stop mutant." Was the only warning Dalacur had before it headed in his direction.
Another moved from its original location to aid the half downed Sentinel. It approached quickly as a distraction for Liam. "Surrender peacefully." The voice was harsh and metallic. But it was just enough of a distraction that the previous Sentinel had its chance to fire a few energy bolts in Liam's direction. It served only as a secondary distraction to the approaching Sentinel to attempt to wrap Liam up in one of its electrical metal cords.
Unfortunately for Michelangelo there wasn't much he could do but run. And a Sentinel didn't need to run fast to catch up with a mutant, usually. The large metal man continued to follow him until he made some mistake, any mistake was needed. A slip a wrong turn taken anything really. Once that mistake happened the Sentinel capitalized on it and grabbed for him.
The Sentinel following Sam kept its dilligent pursuit. Just waiting for him to make the same mistake to give it the opportunity to grab him.
"Resistance is futile." The Sentinel after Ana had barked as she continued to throw chairs in its direction. It kept coming and rose its hand to fire a few laser bolts in her direction hoping to at least wing her and make and easy capture. They weren't out to kill them after all.

After a few moments Victor groaned and pushed himself up to his feet. That fall had hurt...quite a bit. It had been awhile since he was knocked out cold like that. He shook his head to help clear the cobwebs while trying to take a step. A growl came from him when he felt the resistance in his thigh. His ribs were almost healed but the piece of wood in his leg was hindering that. His hand moved down to grab the piece of lumber and with a tight grip and clenched teeth he ripped it free from his leg.
The force from ripping the debris from his leg caused the rest of his body to tumble forward and thud against the ground once more. He grumbled to himself then slowly pushed himself back up to his feet. The wound in his leg already working on sealing itself shut.
The world around him had turned to complete mayhem as Sentinels wandered and dealt with other mutants. But where the hell did that woman go? Victor looked around until finally he saw Phoenix destroying everything in her path towards the stage. He sneered a little, there was no time for this. Granted he enjoyed seeing her in such powerful glory, made his blood boil. But there still was no time for this. He moved towards her and grabbed her arm. "We need to count our loses and get out of here Darlin'."
Victor wasn't going to take no for an answer either as he pulled on her arm and was tempted to carry her out of here like the Firefly was currently. Sentinels weren't anything to mess with and if they had all decided to gang up on them, even he couldn't take them all down at once.

Genevieve was working on the sentinel's arm with her music notes. Her voice rising up giving them more momentum. They flashed past in bright flashes reflecting off of it's metallic body. Her mind was jarred slightly as she felt the sentinel jolt. Her eyes searched and she soon came face to face with a metallic man. He seemed friendly enough and he was trying to help her get out. He seemed to be having trouble and she noticed another sentinel coming towards them.
Genevieve managed to change songs on her ipod and her head nodded up and down as she heard the song and felt it course through her body giving her strength. Her lips opened as she belted out Rolling in the Deep by Adele. Her notes started to glow brighter as she navigated them to the sentinel that was still holding her. It started to cut through the joint of the robot's arm. Within two minutes it was through and the arm fell to the ground. She jolted as it hit and she tumbled out of the hand that had been holding her. She looked up at the man who had helped her.
'Thanks."

Phoenix's teeth were gritted in a nasty snarl as her eyes were fixed on the stage and on Graydon. Her anger was so strong now her powers were almost to full potential like they had been when she was stuck in Jean's body. Her eyes had turned all black and black veins has formed around them in her skin. She wanted him to die a slow and very painful death. Wave after wave was sent towards him. the stage was disappearing little by little.
She went to take a step closer towards the stage so she could see his face when he died when she felt a strong hand grab her arm. Her mind was so consumed with anger she turned around with a deep growl and pushed the body the hand belonged to away from her sending him flying back. She had no idea that it was Victor. her mind was on one thing and one thing only.
She turned back towards the stage and took a couple more steps. the power feeling good in her body. The stage looking like dust being blown away. An evil and eerie laugh escaped from her lips as she looked upon the man who would soon join that dust in the wind.

The moment Phoenix touched his chest he could feel as if his body was being taken apart. It was an odd sensation that made his eyes widen. He barely even realized that he was airborne once more until he felt his back slam into something hard and metallic.
Ironically the Sentinel that had its sights on Dalacur was now on the ground with a good Victor sized dent in its back. He groaned unable to move. While he had an amazing healing factor it didn't stop from the pain he felt. With his skin being eaten away and probably every bone in his body broken, it wasn't easy to just get up again. Not even the Sentinel underneath him moved for the time being.
It wasn't until the Sentinel tried to come back online that Victor came to as well. He hadn't been completely unconcious but he wasn't in the right state to move or do anything either. He groaned and shifted his body to try and get himself back up. It still hurt like hell but his body was moving again while his healing factor worked overtime. Victor turned and raked his claws into the paneling of the Sentinel to open the tin can up. Any wire or circuitry that he found was quickly yanked out and crushed in his grip. It may take a few minutes but he was determined to get the thing to stay down for the count.
Meanwhile he completely forgot about the rampage Phoenix took out upon the stage.

Dalacur was staring up at the Sentinel that asked him to surrender. This was bad...kinda really bad. He had heard about these things but never saw one before. He wasn't really sure what he could do to defend himself from these things...other than run. He couldn't bite them, he couldn't use his telepathy and well strength could help. But was it enough to take on an over three story tall metal titan.
While he was contemplating these things suddenly the Sentinel crashed into the ground with a man dented into it. What luck! "Hey! Thanks chap!" Pushing himself up onto his tip toes as if that would help him see the person that knocked the machine down any better. "If I could help you with anything just say the word!" He listened for a moment, "Nothing? Okay!" Dalacur smirked and turned to head in the other direction.
This was the perfect time for a hasty retreat if he had ever seen one.
"Surrender Mutant!"
Well so much for retreating. Dalacur fuond himself standing infront of another Sentinel. How many of these buggers were there? "I don't 'surrender' well. How does that go again?"
Apparently someone skimped on the machine's humor chip. While Dal was trying to think of a way around the Sentinel that metal cord from its wrist suddenly wrapped around him and his eyes widened in pain. It took a moment for him to even realize that his body was being surged with electricity of some kind. It wasn't long before he laid unconscious within the grasp of the Sentinel.
