Victor was growing impatient as the rally had started and the speakers came up and left. Each one of them was more of an idiot than the first. He could barely stand listening to them, but he had to wait.
It wasn't until the girl showed up and started yelling that his attention faultered slightly. What was she doing? The crowd roared against her and a few even agreed it seemed. Eventually though another speaker came up to introduce Graydon as well as calm the other down from the girl.
Stella was grabbed by two men in suits and taken off to the side to try and get the disruption to settle down it seemed. He really didn't care what they did with the girl, he had to follow through with his plan. Amber eyes glanced over to where Sam was supposed to be to make sure he had his portion of the plan in hand. Any moment now Graydon would be on the stage and it would be time to rip him to pieces. Victor couldn't wait to smell that thick scent of blood again.
While his eyes turned to go back to the stage, he noticed Phoenix. A slight smirk on his lips as he noticed the man she was with. Hmph. She was pushing at his buttons per usual. The woman was trying...but the second he saw that man again, he'd be dead.

Mikey had been skateboarding around the city when he had seen the huge crowd of people. Being the fairly curios person that he was Mikey just had to check out what was going. Not being the type to sit down and watch the new he had had no idea that there was supposed to be some sort of rally that day, though he soon found out.
Following the flow of the crowd Mikey picked up his skateboard and placed it under his arm as he entered the space where the rally was being held. Finding a few people his age Mikey decided that he should go and stand by them. Mikey wasn't even half way there when the first person started speaking. Freezing where he stood Mikey turned his attention to the speaker.
What was it with politics and anti-mutant crap? Don't these guys have any things better to do then judge people with special abilities? Though considering how many of these things there were he guessed not.
Mikey was just about to just leave, not being able to stand this any longer, when he heard a voice shout out from the crowed. Turning his attention from the speaker to the direction of the sound Mikey saw that it was a girl about his age. What the heck did she think she was doing? Even Mikey had better sense then to announce that he was a mutant in a crowd of people, especially in this type of crowd.

Sam almost slapped him self on the head when he saw Stella, Why in the hell was she hear he only new her because of her cuzsion was a good friend to Sam but that was it and when Neon disappeared he figured that was the end of running into her crazy cuzion.
But once she was gone and things went back to normal Sam just looked up as things went on for the day when the speaker was Sam weighted for only a second or to before setting the boom off. As the explosion went off Sam could hear people scream wondering what had just happened the ones near the wall where gone now and Sam just had a smirk on his face as he pulled out a knife ready for the fight and to kill as many as he could he wasn’t as blood hungry as the others but he was looking forward to some fun and this would be fun more fun then he had in a long long time.
As people started to panic sam smiled slowly making it so everyone in the room but the known brotherhood members the room was getting darker it started with the people sitting next to him tell they couldn’t see anything then it go to the next victim it was slow and sam was hoping that the rest the group would kill before he had to each the minds of the people in there areas.

It turned out that sitting back and watching was the best option, for it didn't take long for the chaos he was expecting to start. It started out with all the usual chaos of a big rally like this but soon got interesting with the involvement of a female mutant trying to stand up for mutants, and much more recently with a bomb going off.
Now Kaijin could have stayed back and watched as things started to develop into full on destruction but he wanted to up the ante, and he had just the plan to do so.
Making his way from the rooftop Kaijin headed for where he knew all the speakers would be. After spotting a prime target he made his way there like a shadow making sure nobody knew he was there. After confronting his target he worked his magic and then left to watch his magic.
Stepping back into the crowd Kaijin kept to the shadows, trying to find a best spot to watch his plan unfurl. It didn't take long for on of the speaker to exit into the crowd. The speaker then took at pistol and started shooting into the crowd, shouting something about the crowd being filled with mutant freaks.
If there wasn't chaos before, there certainly was now, and Kaijin just couldn't help the twisted smile that graced his face behind his mask as he turned and melted his the shadows. His work here was now done.

Freya was in a terrible mood. But when wasn’t she? Sadly, Rory hadn’t been around today, off running around doing… Who knew what. Frey hadn’t asked when he left. Anyway, the point was, Freya had spent the whole day…. Alone…. Bored… and in a bad mood…. At the Mansion. Not the best combination. So, obviously, when she heard about the Anti-mutant Rally, she literally jumped at the chance to go check it out. Why? Because even an idiot would know a fight would break out, might as well get there before hand.
The French woman, even when she was at the rally, had hung back, refusing to get to close because, honestly, unlike most mutants, she had a pretty well known face. If any of the humans (or mutants trying to blend into the crowd) spotted her, it’d cause quite the ruckus. So, hidden from view, she waited.
It wasn’t long before all hell broke loose. The explosion kind of gave things away. From across the street, not only did she hear, see, and feel the bomb, but with her uncanny ability to sense heat, she literally felt it go off long before the blast could be physically felt. Covering a yawn, she slowly and calmly rose to her feet, quickly crossing the street to the rally and stepping into the chaos. It took only a few moments to figure out what was going on. And to pick out the culprits. They were, after all, the only ones not panicking. What she found odd though, was some of them teenagers. Children. To be caught up in all this at that age… One such teenager even had a knife out…. And everyone around him was acting a little…. Odd. As if they couldn’t see straight.
There was one good this about the ruckus. Even someone as widely recognized as Freya could blend into a crowd. So, with little trouble, she was able to find her way through the chaos…. And right to this teenage boy. In only a few seconds she realized her sight was darkening, until she couldn’t see anything. Well, it wasn’t like she needed her eyes, not when her power let her ‘see’ body heat. Without missing a beat, she grabbed the teenage boy by the neck and yanked him back towards her. ”You should put that down before you hurt someone. Or someone hurts you.” Oh, Freya sounded downright menacing, her tone suggesting that she’d be the one to hurt him… And if to prove her point, said knife was getting hotter…. And hotter…. Until it was literally burning in his hand. ”Now tell me, is Creed here?” That smile…. That sweet smile she was giving him…. Wasn’t sweet at all. It would send shivers down anyone’s spine.

Liam kept watching the stage as he waited for the protest to start. He was starting to get bored, which was unusual for him, when his phone started to vibrate. He got up and walked toward an empty area before he answered it. He kept his eyes on the stage and covered the ear that he didn't have his phone over so he could hear better. Mr. Halfort had called to see if he had gone to the protest and was asking him if he would be willing to update him on what happened since he wasn't going to be able to make it there like he thought. He said something about the workshop having some issues that needed his personal attention and Liam guessed that meant that some of the engineers and mechanics were getting in a fight over funding... again. As he was on the phone, someone had come in and started making a ruckus, but they got 'escorted' out of the room before Liam had a chance to see who it was.
Liam had closed his phone and about to head back to his seat when explosions suddenly started to go off. He should have been more surprised then he was that it happened, but it seemed that the years of being a merc and around those kinds of things and his earlier paranoia came in handy. He quickly began to study what all was happening. Most of the people were panicing, which was a normal response, but some of them were doing some odd things. A group around a teenager, the one he noticed earlier in fact, was acting like they couldn't see while he had a knife in his hand and looked like he was gladly going to use it. One of the speakers was shooting randomly into the crowd and yelling something about mutants, but he had to say that the man looked like he was out of it and not in his right mind at all. There was other things going on, but since he was closer to the boy and the speaker with a gun, he needed to deal with them first.
Liam quickly pulled out his desert eagle and took aim at the speaker. He took two shots at the man's hands to try and disable his ability to shot the gun. His first shot missed and ended up hitting the stage, but his second shot managed to hit the man's hands. Liam quickly shifted his aim to try and do the same to the boy, but he noticed a woman walking over to him. The woman didn't look scared in the slightest and had an air around her that even made Liam flinch when he first saw her. He decided it was best to leave the woman alone and find someone else to deal with.
Liam looked around, but the chaos the room was already in made it hard for him to tell what all was happening even with his height advantage. He decided that what he needed to do was get to the high ground, so he immediately moved toward the stage with his gun at the ready so he could use it as soon as he needed to. He wasn't likely the way things looked either, so he made his bio-armor cover the parts of his body that weren't visible. His torso, legs, and arms now had a layer of armor around them that only armor-piercing round could get through as he headed to the stage.

Anansi's human to acted shocked when the bomb went off she moved and crawled onto him acting like she was scared the poor man smiled down at her tried to explain that everything would be just fine Anansi just smirked at him and moved and whispered in his ear "I know because every human hears going to die. Anansi then grabbed his head and twisted snapping his neck easily with little to no effort.
Anansi then hoped off him calling the spiders to come and play with everyone else some freak started shooting at everyone Anansi moved down the the ground and placed a hand on her belly. the room was starting to fill with spiders people where starting to get bit as the spiders crawled around them.
Most the bites wouldn't kill them now with just one but people would start to die if they didn't treat it or if more then one spider bit them and the amomet of spiders that where feeling the room it was more likely people where going to start droping. as the spiders filled the room Anansi watch the crowd move freaking out about things. A woman had come in and went for sam, there looked to be some man with a gun on stage who had token care of the other man, Then the one girl who had come and made a mess then was gone just like that, things seemed to be working as planed.

Phoenix had been flirting with this human for some time now trying to fit in. The funny thing was he really thought he had a chance with her. He thought that they were going to go back to his place after the rally. Little did he know that not everyone would be making it out alive. He was brave she had to give him that. He even had the nerve to kiss her neck as he whispered in her ear asking her to leave with him.
Her ears perked up as she heard the explosion. The man she was standing with tried to pull her away to try and get away from the chaos that was breaking out all around them. She slipped out of his arms and into the chaos he was running from. Her powers now brewing up as she smelled blood from the victims of the man with the gun. Her skin got goosebumps all over it as she picked up a small human girl and started to peel her skin off with her powers. A grin on her face the whole time.
She rolled her shoulders and laughed as the girl died then she moved on to more victims. She left a trail of bodies through the crowd as she walked. Blood was covering her hands and shirt. Some was even splattered on her face along with a wicked grin.

There was only one word to describe what was going on around him, chaos. Mikey wasn't sure when he ever saw this much chaos at one time, and his power was basically chaos, though on a small scale. First there was an expolsion, and then one of the speakers actually started shooting the crowd. Mikey was frantically looking around him, trying to decide what he should do. It was at times like this that Mikey really wished he had some sort of offense power.
Deciding that it was probably a good idea to see everything that was going on Mikey started making his way to the stage, which wasn't easy since everyone else was heading in the oppisite direction trying to get out of the chaos. Ducking and weaving through the crowd of people Mikey finally made it to the stage.
Quickly jumping up onto the stage Mikey surveyed what was going on. To Mikey this was more then chaos, was there anything more chaotic then chaos? Everywhere he looked something new was brought into the fray, it was obvious that this was planned. Who planned it however was a mystery to Mikey all he knew was that he had o do something, but with how much there was going on his mind was drawing up a blank on what.

Genevieve had long since taken the earphones out of her ears and put her ipod away. Her eyes scanned the crowd that had gathered. This rally was obviously for an anti-mutant group. Why humans hated mutants so bad she had no idea. Of course there were a few mutants that were dangerous to the humans but not all of them were dangerous.
The explosion ripped her from her thoughts. She ducked as a reflex but she soon stood up and looked around her. Her brown hair whipping about as she took everything in. There was chaos everywhere but she was sure that this had been planned. Shooting started and she didn't flinch. If she was shot she would just heal. That was how it had always been ever since she was a teenager. She knew she needed to get out of there.
She started walking trying to get out of all of the chaos but she couldn't move. There were humans packing the exit so it was jammed now. How the hell was she going to get out of this one? Her eyes scanned for another exit but she was sure they were blocked as well.
"Great....trapped."

Dalacur was getting bored. This city was so dull. He tried to have some fun and that really didn't work out so well and now he was just roaming the city. Thoughts of pestering his brothers came to mind but they really weren't that fun anyway...
It wasn't until he heard the sudden explosion and screams that his eyes lit up. Something exciting to do? Oh let it be true! With a hand held to his hat he quickly scurried towards where he heard the noise. Silently hoping no one saw him run like that. Once he saw the crowd of humans running away from the building he stopped with a smirk. "Food to go I see."
He reached an arm out and grabbed a woman that had almost got past him. "Hey there pretty, what's going on in there?"
"Let me go! There's mutants everywhere!" She didn't even get a chance to see the odd color of his eyes before it was too late.
Dalacur smirked to reveal a fang as his grip tightened on the woman's arms. "Isn't that the truth..." And just as quickly as he had grabbed her he yanked her towards him and sunk those fangs into her neck. Been awhile since he had a good and scared meal. A shiver ran up his spine as he felt the fear course through his body. Once she went limp he let her go and wiped the blood from his mouth. "Now let's go find some dessert."
Yes yes more!

Playing the waiting game was starting to get on his nerves. Not to mention he really wanted to hurt the guy that was with Phoenix right now. But there were priorities. Victor couldn't let Graydon slip through his claws this time.
When the bomb blew and everyone panicked, Victor was as calm was a stalking panther. His eyes kept upon the stage while he moved through the crowd fluidly. It was as if he could sense the way the mob would move as he walked. It was then that something made him stop. What was that scent? It was familiar but how? He had to snap himself out of that train of thought to push forward. He would not allow anything to get in his way. Muscles were tensing as he grew closer to the stage. Even as the man started shooting into the crowd he didn't faulter. He would finally get his revenge and no longer have to deal with a good for nothing son in the world.
He could smell the blood in the air now, it seemed Phoenix had taken to ripping people open a lot sooner than he'd thought. That was fine, he'd join her in that blood bath later...

Post by Graydon Creed on Jan 30, 2012 0:22:19 GMT -5
"Sir it's almost time."
"Good, are they standing by?"
"Yes sir all you have to do is give the signal."
"Perfect." Graydon frowned slightly as he felt and heard the explosion from the crowd behind the stage wall.
"What was that? How did a bomb get in here?"
"Don't worry about it." Graydon raised a hand up to the man standing next to him. "I expected something of that nature anyway, really makes no difference. Where's that girl from earlier?"
"She's in the back room."
"Get her."
"Yes, Sir."
Graydon finally moved out onto the stage, as the man before him had been subdued. He ignored the others on the stage and found the microphone. "Attention! All of you!" He spoke loudly and with authorty so that the crowd would die down and listen to him. "Have we not seen what mutants can do to our peace and harmony? I believe this night alone is what we can expect from them for the rest of our lives. It is up to us to control them! TO ensure that our children will not be harmed by these monsters!"
Graydon waited, listening to a few people that had cheered with him and smirked to the glares of the mutants that were nearby. "Remember that girl from earlier? Why don't we meet her again shall we?" Graydon made a gesture to the men off stage that brought Stella back on stage. They still had a good grip upon her arms but now she had a nice metal looking collar around her neck. "My fellow Humans! I give to you our best defense against these things. This collar you see around her neck, defuses her powers. Making this woman completely...normal. It is a gift really. Now she can join normal society without worrying about how she might harm others inadvertantly with those pesky 'talents'." Graydon put his hand over the mic for a moment to whisper to one of the men that held onto Stella. "Take her to the camp and put phase two into place."
His hand was removed from the mic and he addressed the crowd again. "Now I know what you're thinking! How are we going to get mutants to agree to this amazing solution. Our Police force? Unfortunately we don't have that kind of resource now do we? The police belong on the streets protecting you from everything else. I have the solution. Our Sentinels, will be glad to bring each mutant back down to an average citizen once more!"
And just as he mentioned those hulking machines the roaring sounds of jets were heard before loud thuds against the ground. "We no longer have to fear them! Unite with me against this menace and I promise you our lives will return to normal." He wanted to hear cheering and chanting but he knew that with the mutants still on a rampage that that wasn't going to happen. He was lucky enough to get their attention for as long as he had it. He put up the mic and then reached into his pocket to push a button on the device that was there. Suddenly the walls started to crumble while they were literally pulled off by the ten massive ten story tall machines that surrounded the building...

Stella was grabed before she new it her powers stoped working for some reason she didn’t stop fighting the men kicking and screaming but the men where to over powering with stella not eating lately her already being smaller it wasn’t long before stella stopped fighting.
She hurd the sounds from the other room she wish that someone would come she didn’t know what this thing was on her next and she wanted it off. She pull at it everyone in awhile when someone came for her Stella was dragged again this time on stage she wanted to blow everyone head off right then and there and this Graydon guy was making her look like a fool. Stella glared at the man as he spoke of the thing around her next her eyes where wide open almost scared when he said her powers weren’t going to work her powers where her life she didn’t know how to live with out them.
Stella looked around trying to see if she knew anyone from what he said to everyone it sounded like she was going back in the streets but Stella had hurd somewhat what Graydon had hurd to the guy holding her and she glared angrily at him. She didn’t say I thing just wishing his head would blow off. Out of the courner of her eyes she taught she saw Liam on stage she wanted to yell at him but she was dragged of stage and token away before she could even really think much more about it, size it not like Liam would want to help her much anyway she did run from him and it was her fault he almost died once he didn’t need to be where she was.

Post by Liam Lancaster on Jan 30, 2012 0:50:17 GMT -5
Liam had almost made it to the stage when a man walked up to it and began to speak without a care in the world for what was going on. He had slowed down to a slow walk as he continued toward the stage and listened to the man, keeping his gun at the ready the entire time. The man had obviously known that some violence was going to break out and it more then explained why so many armed people had made it into the building without detection. A classical move for those rising to political power, create the worst possible situation and then exploit the fear it caused to boost your standing. Great, and Liam was now caught in the middle of the mess. He had just started to think of what to do when the mutant they had captured was brought out onto the stage. It was Stella and she had that metal collar around her neck. He had thought was only a rumor, until now. And to make matters even worse, some sentinels ripped the building open and now were going to hunt down every mutant in the area unless they were stopped. This was turning into one annoying mess.
Liam didn't hesitate after he saw the sentinels and rushed the stage. He took shots at the people holding onto Stella and managed to force them to let go of Stella enough that she could make a run for it now. He knew Stella would be able to make it out just fine on foot, so he next turned his attention to the easiest means of stopping the sentinels, the man who had their controller. He kept moving until he made it to the man and put his gun barrel on the back of the man's head.
" Mind stopping your toys before many innocent people get hurt?" Liam said to the man in a calm voice that was more then just a little intimidating. " We both know what your aim is here and I'm in no mood to play this game with you. So either turn the sentinels off and everyone walks away right as rain OR you refuse and I end your petty, miserable life that is worth less then the scum that flows in the sewers beneath our feet and take the controller from your corpse. Your choice."
Liam pushed the gun harder into the man's head to emphasize that he wasn't joking around after he had finished talking. He didn't wait but a moment before he added, " Oh, and if you break the controller, I will just have to deal with those toys of your's the old fashion way. You could say I have some experience at 'testing' your kind of 'toys' just so you know."
Liam was in no mood to deal with this situation what so ever.
