*Darkness, for some, a frightening place without hope and in need of light. But for Xander, it was a place for peace and quiet. He had spent the night alone, playing his instruments, listening to music, and meditating. He planned on hanging with Ben that night but he was off with that girl. Why was he so obsessed with her? Well it was good for him. Spending time with someone else. It was getting later in the night and the sun was going to be up soon. With nothing else to do, Xander decided to head off to bed. He put on some comfortable pants and climbed into his bed. His room far enough away from away from everyone that the room was normally pitch black. That didn’t seem to bother the man who was blind.*
*Xander spend quite a bit of time anticipating Ben to come in and wake him before he had even gotten to sleep, but that wasn’t to be. Slipping into the wonders of his dreams Xander happily fell asleep. But this wasn’t going to have happy ending either. The further he fell to sleep the harder it would be. As his sleep seemed to be permanent a big oaf with big black wings came in and woke Xander. With a groan he sat up.* What is it Ben?

Ben pretty much had run down threw the underground bunkers looking for Xander he had spent the hole night with Aryanna and now he needed to tell his best friend about there date. He wouldn’t call him self obsessed just....o.k he didn't have the vocabulary to think of a better word at the moment but obsessed was to harsh of a word. Ben found Xander sleeping on his bed and with a huge smile on his face ben attacked Xander.
He jumped on his bed and pulled him off he would of wrestled him but the man was asleep he give him sometime to wake up before he really pinned him or did anything to mean size it wasn't like Xander fought back ½ the time anyway. Ben smiled at Xander when he asked what it was and trying to act like it was no bit deal Ben smirked.
“So she was out tonight and we talked”
Ben was slowly noding his head yea he was the king of the world and he was some sort of boss right now he had a very much im the boss and nothing can bring me down today I can take over a hole city and nothing bad whould happen.

*Xander allowed Ben to wrestle him to the ground and sighed. Then he tried to act cool. What was wrong with him?* O yay, what did you talk about? Kittens and puppies? I’m blind not deaf. I can tell you want to talk, so just talk. *His voice was gaveled and cracked a few times. He used his power to see where the freak was.* Can you get off of me now? Or do I need to tell your new girl about your fascination with younger boys? *True he was only two years younger but it was so much fun to tease him. Xander gave a small but sly smile, not making any eye contact, there was no point.*
*After a slight pause Xander shook his head.* Dude, your not that cool, and this isn’t grade school. Talking to a girl isn’t cause for a celebration. *Ben was obviously excited about something, maybe a bit too excited, by how he came in and jumped on his bed.* Just tell me, I’m sure you just as tired as I am. *Xander then moved so he was leaning on the side of his bed. He knew where everything in his room was, this was mostly because he didn’t move things around and he liked things where they were.*

Ben wacked xander on the top of the head when he said that he had a thing for younger boys “Oi you do that i'll make your life unbearable when you get a girl hanging around yea” Ben got off of Xander tempted wack him again for good measure when Xander just moved over and leaned on the ben saying he was tired ben laughed.
“No its more then we talked,” he said with a smirk on his lips “and im not tired i'm wide awake I may crash in....an hour...but until them” Ben had a huge smile on his face the night had gone wonderfully he just wished it didn't have to end anytime soon.
“See kissed me” Ben said like it was almost a normal thing to happen everyday, yea ben was very much like nothing could stop him right now. “she also wants to keep going out make it official, so I guess this makes me a taken man right now so I can't have my little flings with my little boy toy hear” he smirked and looked at Xander wondering what he say this was ben first girl friend so ben was pertty exsided and didn't care if he didn't wake up xander or not

*Xander ignored the wack, it didn’t hurt and it was normal for them to sometimes “fight.” He laughed a little bit to his reaction.* If that happens, what kind of a girl would ever fall for a blind guy who can’t even tell her what she looks like? *He spoke in a joking tone, but was, in a sense, serious. He didn’t know if he would ever find a girl.*
Alright, fine I’ll stay up....I gotta hear this. Talk. *He was now, fairly awake. He realized that Ben needed to let it all out, and that was what a best friend were for. Xander would listen and react as he normally would, even if he wanted to sleep.*
*Xander was first in a little shock that Ben finally got his first kiss. He then started to laugh.* I thought that princesses fell for the prince, not the evil dragon that kept them in the tower. *Then he laughed again. By the way Ben talked about this girl she sounded like she could be a princess or even a goddess. It was almost like she was the first girl he had ever laid eyes on. Then he said that she wanted to actually go steady. He frowned when he heard the second part though.* Dang, guess I’ll have to get my sex rush from someone else. *He then laughed again.*

Ben didn't think it hurt and if it did he knew that he get a hit back just as hard if not harder Ben rolled his eyes when he said that he never get a girl “hmm lets see why wouldn’t a girl want someone to play them love songs and girls love that hole blind thing makes them feel like they can take care of you thats why I hang around so much got to take care of my little blind boy”

This is are home”

*Xander liked the first part of his first comment, but didn’t like the second. Quickly moving he swung one of his legs and kicked Ben in the side of his face.* That’s for calling me your ‘little blind boy’. *He then moved to his original spot. He didn’t like people over helping him because he was blind, and technically he could still see.....a little, if it was a really bright light.*
*Xander let out a big laugh when Ben talked about him being sexy.* If you call yourself sexy that’s narcissistic. Your such a freak. *He was mostly joking, the two had been together long enough to understand and know each other almost as good as they knew themselves.*
Bromance, or not...Ben, you know how I feel about strangers. And you’ve only known her for, what is it now? Three days? I’m sure she’s hiding something. Find out her secrets before you show her this place. *When he said that, he meant it. Ben had told him where the address led to. And Xander wasn’t sure how much he could trust this girl. She seemed like a trixter. And had to have lied sometime in the time Ben and this girl spent time together.*

Ben new that the kick was coming yea he needed it maybe but really he didn't mean it “O.k o.k I get it you can do things on your own do you think I don't know that I mean not everyone can kick someone square in the face like that” He rubed his jaw as Xander explained that he wasn't sexy “that may be true but not like im a real ladies man”
then came the part that made Ben think this threw it was trew he only new Aryanna for a few days and he already was getting involed with her he sat there for a few minnites thinking taking in xander words “she is hiding something....that address she gave me there something wrong the first day she said if I ever wanted to meet her family to drop by there but she didn't want me to meet them......yet....then today she said that she didn't want me going to a cirrus at all because they always have something up there sleeve she seemed at one moment happy about the cirrus the next like it was evil. I hate to say it but there more then just my safety at risk hear...we all are freaks dex.... and its my job to make sure everyone is safe from the world out there...think about Kristy back in a freakshow or some sort she seems so happy now I don't think she chould ever go back to any sort of showy environment”
Ben didn't want to give up on his new girl friend but he wanted answers answers he wasnt going to get form her face to face then he have to get it some how else but he did promise her that he whouldn't go to the circus and he was kind of noticeable even with a trech coat.

That is weird Ben, we can't just risk this place being found by just anyone. And what if she breaks your heart, what would you do then? *It had never happened before so they didn’t know what would happen if it happened.* I am less of a freak, but everyone down here has their own reasons for staying. There’s no way we could survive out there on our own, now. *Maybe if the Morlocks were never founded some of them may survive by just hiding, but now that they work together, Xander didn’t think that they could live without each other.*
*Xander thought a little bit then looked sharply in a direction, as if to look at Ben, even though he had no idea if he was looking at him or not.* Quick, give me a picture of her and the address, I’ll track her down and get the information out of her. *He sounded extremely serious at first, but slowly his voice started to quiver, as if he was trying to hold back the laugh. But after he finished speaking he continued to laugh.* Dude, I wish I could help, but there’s only one problem...well there are more problems then that one, but one major one.*

Ben sighed he was right this place couldn't of been found by just anyone and what if they did break up it wasn't like the reaslsonship was going to last he almost wanted to smake xander in he head for bring it up it was a lot nicer being in lala land and thinking everything was going to work out just fine.
Then Xander got excited of for a moment about something ben lessioned thinking it was a great idea until yea the one problem. “Dude I should so kick your but right now” ben was about to pin Xander or at less try when he did think of something “but you may not be far off think about it i'd or any other Morlock would stick out like a thumb at this address but you...just beld in with the crowd so what if you went and found out what going on see if you can find anyone who talking about her, she is a mutant just lesson your good at that” Ben looked at xander he needed his help if she really was trying to use Ben then ben needed to know it wasn't only for his own safty but for the others as well ben whould kill him self if anyone got hurt and it was his fault.

*Xander laughed though ben’s thread, he did hear it but it just seemed to make it funnier. He calmed down, expecting to be attacked in some way by Ben. This would be the perfect opportunity for him to do it too. He was relaxed and not using either one of his powers, and by this time Ben’s eyes would have adjusted to the lack of light and would have the advantage. Then he said that he was onto something.* You do remember the definition of a joke don't you school boy? *Ben went to a better school then Xander. He went to what ever school the system put him and his brother into. On the other hand Ben went to a nice private, all boys Catholic school.*
Dude, Ben, what if no one is talking about her, and keep in mind I can only see people, not things. There would be no point in me going. It would be stupid! Not to mention suspicious. It would be less if it was a blind guy with a group of people, but just a blind guy, going on his own free will....no. *He was mostly right, but also mostly didn’t want to go. It was a good idea, but if she was a member of this Circus, it’s possible no one would mention her, and if they did? What then?*

Ben groaned “if we had anyone else that I chord think of that could pass as human id make them go with you if she is there even if a where a large coat she know it was me” Ben honesty forgot sometimes that xander was blind he didn't act like it over ½ the time he knew the lay out of the place the same as most everyone else the only time anything got thrown off was when someone moved something but that happened very few times ben toughs on it was mostly because most everyone else had moved so many times that they didn't want to change this home dramaticly but he wasn't sure.
“Well why don't you come up with some bright ideas hmm?” he nudged him he wanted some help with this one he did like the girl and he wanted to trust her but there was something up with this and he was the only one he could think of that would of beable to help at all and a blind guy by him self was a lot less noticeable then him or most the others walking around.

This chick is just causing so many problems for us. *With a sigh Xander wondered if Ben had actually forgotten that he was blind, again. He never blamed him for forgetting, Xander didn’t like to act helpless, or get lots of help, especially when he knew the general position of everything in their “base”.*
Hey here’s a good idea! WHY DON’T YOU ASK HER! *He was very serious. If she was going to lie then she would lie, but there was a chance that she might just tell the truth.* You could also follow her one night when she goes home. *It was a little shifty, but it would tell him what he wanted to know. That was, if she was a member if this circus that came into town. As far as Xander knew, it wasn’t looking good for this Aryanna girl.*
Either of those ideas would probably work. *But Xander still wasn’t so sure that Ben would try either of those things. In that case Xander started to think of other ideas.* I could always meet her. Not here but somewhere else. *He didn’t like strangers, let alone trust them, but he would do it for his best friend.*

Ben sighed when he said that she was causing to many problems for them. Ben didn't like the idea of asking her but then there was the idea of fallowing her he'd do that but ben was scared to find out he sighed “you know freaks like me just don't get a love life a guess” he sighed
but the last idea made Ben think it was the one he liked the most he wanted xander to meet her anyway “What if you and me go to the address that she gave me and see if we can find her then we we will talk to her that way you can meet her and we can know the truth or maybe we can talk to her right beofore my date with her this weekend I know exatlly where she will be and I can pick her up there”
ben looked at xander hoping he say yes to this idea yea it was a way to put a downer on the date but it get things settled before things got more involed between the two keeping them safe and ben would want xander there to help if things got bad witch he hoped they didn't aryanna did have luck on her side witch means that they didn't.

I feel your pain dude, living down here sucks. But it’s the only way that we feel safe right? *Xander knew that he could leave, but he had no one out there. Nothing to do, it wasn’t like a place would hire a guy who couldn’t see what he was doing. They were safe down here and that was how they liked it. Guess Xander was just waiting for some nice girl to get lost and in need of some hero to save her. Like that would ever happen.* Dude, we’re just doomed to stick to our bromance. *He was only joking, mostly. There was always that thought deep in his mind that he would live forever down here, alone.*
I’m cool with that. But didn’t you promise her that you would stay away from the circus. You know that I’m all for doing it. *Xander was totally cool with doing Bens first idea. He then thought about his second idea.* Ben I am not going with you on your date.....no matter if it’s only the beginning. *He wasn’t going to be the one to bomb Ben’s first date. It should probably be done before the date, or after.*
