It was time for Alex's turn in the Dangerroom. Beast had been curious as to the extent of this girl's powers. She was able to create illusions as real as day itself and he wondered just how good at is she was.
So for this round in the DR he decided to play more of a cooperative role. After all it was hard to tell what was real and what wasn't from that little boothe. But then again he had his computers to tell him that as well. They would be doing scans and reports by themselves anyway while he was working with her so it really didn't matter. He was dressed in his X-mem gear today, Which consisted of just a pair of what appeared to be shorts on the short side of things, to leave him less restrained from movement depending on what Alex would plan to throw at him....hopefully not literally. His fur seemed well groomed but he always tried to look his best.
The program was a blank slate, nothing but a white floor and white walls. It would be perfect for her to work with, that was if she would get here. He definitely would have to work on the girl with her punctuality. But he had heard a few rumors about her absent mindedness. Still a child in some rights he supposed. But certainly life would bring itself about to change that, and maybe too soon for all of their good.
He had a bad feeling about the future, he only hoped that he was wrong.

Alex was surprised when she found a note saying she needed to go to the danger room she pretty much picked up the note then wanted to hide what was Mr. McCoy making her do in there it not like her powers worked the danger room didn’t have senses like a human or some other thing as smart as the danger room was.
Alex picked up her self and slowly got dressed in some sweatpants and then a bright yellow tank top she pulled her hair back and made her way down, Alex figured she was forgetting something what she did not realize that she was forgetting the book report that Dr. McCoy had assigned her forever ago so many things had happened that it like a lot of other things slipped her mind.
Alex walked into the danger room with a bright smile on her face all most as bright as her shirt she may of not wanted to be there but it was still good to see Dr. McCoy something was still bothering her she knew she was subpost to do something but what was it he told her to that and she really didn’t want to get her but kicked today in the Danger room.

No, Hank hadn't forgotten about the book report he has assigned the girl. But for the time being it didn't really matter. Once he saw her enter the room he gave a gentle smile. "Good to see you Alex."
He waited for her to take a look around before he spoke again, "Today I want to see what your illusions can do. The program for the danger room is already in place. No tricks or anything. Only thing you need to do is make this room into something else. A forest...a desert...anything you can thing of. But make it believable." He smiled to her still while awaiting her reaction. And that was the main reason why he was down here instead of in the control room. He wouldn't be able to tell if the illusions were as real as she could muster from that far away after all.
"Now go on, give it a go." McCoy waited for her with his furred arms crossed over he equally furry chest. He hoped that she wouldn't be too nervous, though he really had no idea what to expect from her. They would just have to start from here and see where it would lead them.

Alex looked at him, she smiled when he smiled at her she was still nervous about this room she didn’t like it at all but she was trying her best to hide it. She leassioned to him as he said that there where no tricks or anything in this room just blank. She didn’t like the idea of doing a forest or desert but he seemed to want some place.
“you do realize that i mess with the head and if you want to see what i see i have to use my powers on you” Alex asked but she figured that he did understand somewhat what she could do or he wouldn’t be down hear with her. Alex closed her eyes and let some of her power go at first it was pitch black as alex tryed to think what to do then the room quickly turned into a street in New York there was a bench and a wall on the other side of the sidewalk form it. There where no people mostly because she figured Dr. McCoy didn’t want them yet, cars zoomed by and there was all the sounds of the city the smells but if you looked closely you’d find that some detills where missing like the plates on the cars going pass or cracks in the sidewalk some of the sounds where a little off but almost there.
Alex opened her eyes to see what Dr. M whould think of this it wasn’t to much to do at all infact for her the bigger the better.

Hank couldn't help but to smirk at the way Alex tried to inform him about her powers. "Yes I understand. That is why I'm down here and not in the observation room." Of course he did have more plans for her but was waiting until the right moment.
He waited to see what she had to show him and it didn't take too long. Her quick thinking was impressive enough and so was the detail of the street she created. There was still a few details that showed this to be an illusion and he was going to point them out. "Okay, now concentrate. Fill in the details that you are missing. Like this sidewalk, a little too perfect don't you agree?" He glanced over to her to see how she was doing. He didn't want to push her too far but he did want to challenge her. "And the cars...you might have to brush up on knowing a few more models. Depending on where you are there may be different types after all. FOr a power like yours to work, details mean everything. If someone can see something that doesn't make sense then your illusion will not work properly." He knew she probably knew this already but it was mainly covering it perhaps for something else to say while he looked around. "Now...this seems like a street of New York. Can you manage the pedestrians?"

Alex smiled at what she was able to see around her and Dr. McCoy seemed to think it was o.k to when he said there needed to be more detail Alex almost groaned she was never good at detail work. but as he said what she needed it started to appear cracks in the sidewalk little small things like the bumps in road a sign some street art but it wasn’t ever sticking right it almost seemed to stick out then blend in with everything.
when he asked for people Alex people started to walk by even though this was a street in New york it wasn’t near as many people as broadway or any where with lots of people Alex new this street and the people who walked by it. Some of the people she had apper was one older homeless man who always had a smile on his face and a large ugly green sweater he was missing most of his teeth and had a long wight beard he was sitting on the other side of the road with a sign made of cardboard, there was a who walked by with a large yellow neck-less and a red bag, and many other people that Alex had seen on this street but same with the side walk the small deteils seemed to stand out more be brighter or seem almost to big.
Alex looked at Hank waiting for what was next she was trying to keep everything in line taking little bits of things she seen all these people do in her pass and peace them together to make it seem like they do it if a person walked by her or Dr. McCoy and brushed agaist them they feel the person having Dr. M feel something was odd for her and harder to think about and everytime she think about controlling that something else would disappear for a second and reapear as soon as the feeling was gone.

Hank watched as the detail grew within her illusion. It was very impressive. Once he saw people start to react to his presense he moved out of the way to let them go about their set paths Alex had them on. Interesting indeed. She was far better at this than she thought she was.
Then his mind started to turn to the prospect of putting this power to use in the future. His hand went to his chin as he thought for a moment. He had no idea of Alex wished to join the X-men in the future but if she did there were possibilities. "Now my dear, can you contain your illusions? For instance. If you were pursuing someone..." His eyes turned to look at her instead of her illusion work. "Could you keep up an illusion to lead them into a trap? Especially if they were on the run?" He was curious. If she could do that he would have to set up an impromptu experiment to test this theory.
His attention turned back to the illusion. He'd notice some of the things disappear and come back. Obviously she was far from perfecting her craft but this was a good start. A very good start.

Alex tilted her head when Hank asked his question as soon as he did about half the illusion disappeared as she tried to wrap her head around the idea of making a trap, the idea was strange to her why would she ever havt to use her power for that she already had a hard time containing it making an illusion last for more then a few minnites before she got detracted with something else.
“I don’t get it someone on the run why would I want to trap anyone” she looked at Hank wanting to know what he was thinking in that head of his and why he thought it was a good idea to trap random people. “I’ve used my powers on people that are running its more easyer then this….everything changing more and at a faster pace but I don’t know about traping someone.
Alex quickly looked around realizing that she had let parts of her illusion drop and quickly brought them back hoping he didn’t notice but he probably did. It was his job to train her and with training he did have to know everything she was doing and how strong she could get witch Alex was fine with she was feeling wonderful right now she hadn’t been able to use her powers this much for a lot time it felt great to have them in use instead of bottled up in side all the time.
