Self Life Force Manipulation: Jun is able to manipulate his own
life force and through doing this redirect it to cause a wide
variety of things that can only be explained as 'super-human'.
Unfortunately, in a way his powers have corrupted the genetic
code of his body, causing a continual mutation. In a sense, Jun
is both human and mutant, with unnatural abilities in both.
When Jun is calm, collected, and doesn't let any emotion get too
out of hand, he looks like any regular human. Like many mutants
though, when his emotions start getting to wild, so do his
powers, causing him to mutate into his true mutant form.
Strangely though, while his only power is the ability to
manipulate his own life force, depending on what form he is in
it allows him to do different things.
Human Form; When in his 'human' form (so to speak, considering
he is still a mutant, he just looks human), Jun is able to
redirect his life force energy to basically power different
attributes of his body. When the the energy is redirected it
gives that attribute minor superhuman qualities. So, if he wants
to be able to move faster, he can use his own life force do
reach speeds, agilities, and dexterity just beyond that of a an
olympic athlete. If he wants to become stronger, he can redirect
the energy to reinforce his strength allowing him to lift a
little over 1.5 tons.
Though he can redirect the energy to only one attribute if he
wishes, he can also redirect it to all of his attributes at
once, boosting them all. Though when he does this, the peak of
each attribute is diminished somewhat. Where if he only boosted
one it would reach superhuman levels, if he boosts all of them
at once they all go to about the level of an olympic athlete
(not quite peak human).
In this form he can also redirect his life force energy so that
he can heal at speeds far beyond that of any human. Though it
requires deep meditation to use this aspect of the power and
absolutely cannot be done without complete focus, however, once
complete focus is reached he can heal completely broken bones in
a matter of seconds.
It is possible there is more that he can do while in this form,
but so far he has yet to learn anything new.
Mutant Form; Where the human form of his powers is largely used
to help himself, the mutant form of his powers is largely used
to hurt others. In this form, Jun can force his life force
energy to manifest itself outside of his body in the form of
powerful blasts of energy. These blasts of energy look like
fire, but have no heat and could be explained as feeling almost
like electricity. If hit by a blast of this energy it has been
described as being like a cross of getting his by a sledgehammer
and grabbing an electric fence. It will leave large bruises and
make the spot it touches very sore for up to an hour after. The
impact of one of this blasts has been known to knock people
backwards or even throw them back several feet.
Besides throwing blasts of the energy, he can also "charge" his
limbs with the energy so that when they hit, they hit with a
literally explosive force. While he generally only charges his
fists or feet so that his punches and kicks hit like a hammer,
he can charge absolutely any part of his body or even his ENTIRE
body so that anything he touches (or that touches him) is hit
with the energy. The longer Jun charges up the energy, the
harder it hits as well. When a fully charged blast or limb hits
something it can shatter rock, wood, or bone or anything else
that gets in it's way. Generally it takes about 10-30 seconds to
make a fully charged blast depending on easy it is for him to
focus on it.
Also, where his human form largely works on augementing his
body, his mutant form can affect his mind. Redirecting his life
force energy he can augement the abilities of his mind the same
as the attributes of his body. He can use this to be able to
think more quickly and more clearly making it seem as though
time is a little slower to him (though he moves slower as well,
so time isn't actually slowing down, he is just able to think
fast enough that it's as if everything were moving slower). He
can also use it to learn things more quickly and if he
completely redirects his life force to his mind he is able to
read the surface thoughts of others (though this is the same as
healing in his other form in that it requires a LOT of
concentration and focus.)
• Flaw/s | The most major
and obvious flaw is that no matter what form Jun is in, he can
still be harmed just like any other person. Bullets, knives,
sickness, they all affect him the same as they would affect any
other person. Now, as for his powers, though they are seperate powers depending on what form he is in, because they revolve around the same base they pretty much have the same weaknesses.
First, Jun CANNOT do one set of powers belonging to one form in another form. I.E. he can NEVER do his human form powers in his mutant form and vice versa. Second, there is a limit to how much he can do. After all, his powers stem from his very own life force energy, so every time he uses his powers, they drain that energy. Now, when Jun is totally relaxed and focused, he can maintain most of his powers indefinitely, basically recharging and using his life force all at the same time. However, during a fight or other situation that is hard to have perfect focus in, it takes about ten to fifteen minutes of constant use to completely drain him and the more he uses it, the faster that goes.
Even worse, Jun has markings on his body, black markings going from his feet to the base of his skull in his human form, and white markings in his mutant form. These unfortunately act as a sort of fuel guage, letting everyone know exactly how much life force he has left to use, as he uses his powers, the marks starting to slowly disappear going down his body. If he has no markings on his body, he is totally out of life force energy to use, if he has markings up to his skull, watch out. Lastly, if he spends all of his life force, and then continues to try and use it, it will make him pass out almost instantly; hence why HE has to watch his own markings and listen to his body otherwise he will knock himself out.
• Weapons | Doesn't carry any, though he is trained to use very many hand-held weapons. He has also been training on mastering the eighteen arms of wushu, meaning he knows how to use a lot of weapons, and knows how to cause a lot of pain with a lot of them.
• Overall Abilities/ Skills
| Kung Fu: All Kung Fu, since a child Jun has been put through training that would break most fully grown men. While not a master at it, and says he has a lot left to learn (and he is constantly training), he could easily be qualified as a black belt if he ever competed. However, to him, Kung Fu is not just fighting but a literal way of life, he eats, sleeps, and breaths martial arts and you would be hard pressed to find a person more devoted to anything else. Obviously this has several other skills related to it that are increased as a side-affect, such as his athleticism, and so on.
Cooking: In his past times, Jun is actually a fairly good cook, so long as it is traditional chinese meals, he can make almost anything with pasta and rice.
Origami: Some might call it pointless or stupid, but one of Jun's favorite pastimes is origami. After all, everybody loves making stuff out of paper right?
Bi-Lingual: Jun is able to speak Mandarin and is semi-fluent in English. Though he still has a hard time with some words and most 'common expressions' are completely over his head.

• Height | 5'9"
• weight | 162
• Hair color | Black
• eye color | Dark Brown
• Playby | Bin Won
• Overall Appearance | Jun is what many would consider as the "average Chinese guy" Though he was considered very tall back home, he is shorter than most of the Americans he's around now. His frame is very built though and even though he is shorter than many, it is obvious from just a glance at him that he is fairly well built. Due to the baggy and unkempt clothes he generally wears it's hard to tell what his true build is like, that if you ever manage to catch him in correctly fitted clothing, you will see instantly that he is built like a brick house. From many many many years of extreme martial arts training since he was a child, he is not only built like a brick house, but feels like you are touching one as well.
Black hair, and dark brown eyes so dark they look almost black at times set off the features of his face. With an angled jaw line and strong face it gives a sort of permanent "I don't care" expression unless you manage to get him to smile. His dressing style is usually that of long sleeves, hoodies, and loose fitting jeans even during the summer. The reason for his warm and somewhat unkempt style is to hide the truly unique features on his body, namely the black lines that criss cross over his entire body from his feet to the base of his skull. The lines mostly follow where his veins are, however, because of their deep black hue, it makes it look more like a sprawling, thin, tattoo over his entire body. The edges of the tattoo can be seen, usually, beneath his chin, but otherwise very few people have seen the bulk of them.
Then there is Jun's other form, his "dark form" as he calls it. When Jun loses control of his emotions, he mutates completely into his mutant form. In this form, his skin turns completely solid black, as dark as the deepest cave. Morever, the features of his face disappear somewhat, his nose is smoothed over on his face, his ears disappear; leaving only two snake-like slits where his nostrils are on his smooth face, and two small holes where his ears are. His eyes turn ghostly white, and those black lines that criss-cross his body in his human form, turn white as well. Overall, he has an incredibly alien appearance in this form.

• Goals/ dreams | To become a Kung Fu master like his master, to become the head of a business.
• Overall Personality |
Ma Jun Lee, or John Lee as most in America have taken to calling him, is definitely a curious person to meet. Quiet is the first word most would use to describe him because it is how he seems to most people and in fact he is generally a quiet person to those he doesn't know that well. Very reserved and though not shy, Jun is simply a master of his emotions, completely controlling them and reining them in at all times making it seem as though he is as cold as ice. Though he is indeed very quiet and has to constantly control his emotions, largely for his own protection, Jun is far from the cold and uncaring person he seems to be.
If you manage to become close to him, which very few people do, you will find out that Jun is well... A little goofy. He loves to laugh and loves to make other people laugh, despite how serious he always seems. Actually, even though he is serious all the time, he often comes off as being funny even though he isn't intending to; largely because he still doesn't understand American customs and speech. To friends, he is also fiercly loyal, the kind of person that would take on the world if necessary for you.
However, though he is naive to most American customs and expressions, don't let him fool you. He is an incredibly curious person and often ends up in places that he shouldn't be, and he knows it, though during those times he acts like he knows less than he really does. In fact, he uses this "unknowing immigrant" act quite often to feign stupidity where in actuality, he knows exactly whats going on. He can also be incredibly convincing with it as well, especially the times when actually is confused...
Overall, Jun is a very laid-back, care-free person even if he seems serious and cold. The kind of person that really doesn't care what it is he's doing just so long as he is having a good time doing it. Then again, there is another side of Jun. After all, his power turns him into almost two completely different people, as such, his personality changes depending on what form he is in as well.
It is extreme emotion that causes Jun to change into his dark form. When in his dark form, whatever emotion caused him to change, whether it be fear, anger, or even happiness, that emotion is increased ten times and almost ALWAYS leads to him becoming incredibly violent. Where Jun has inhibitions, dark Jun has absolutely none, where Jun would never kill, Dark Jun has no problem and enjoys killing. Everyone has a dark side, Jun's is just far more real than others.
On the flip side, there have been times where Jun has been able to control his dark form and not go all "apocalyptic killing spree" on everyone. After all, it's not two different people, the dark form of Jun simply lets Juns real emotions run wild. So the times are few, but Jun has been able to keep this side of him under cheque and actually use it how HE wants to use it isnstead of the other way around. Most of the time though, if you see Jun change, run... Run fast and then hide, because you can't outrun him, and if you are in Dark Jun's sight, you ARE the target.

• Birthplace | Raised in Hong Kong, China
• Mother | Unknown
• Father | Unknown
• Siblings | N/A
• Other Relations | Takeshi Wu, Master
• Overall history |
Jun doesn't know who his parents were, if he has any siblings, or even where he was born. Orphaned only a few days after he was born, Jun was left outside a Shaolin orphanage in Hong Kong. The orphanage was run by a man named Takeshi Wu, a veritable Kung Fu master who took in the orphans and then trained them in martial arts. Takeshi believed that living the life-style of Kung-Fu would help the children have discpline, where there was none, have focus, where it was non-existent, and have drive to go out in the world and be successful. The program was a success as well, with most of the orphans growing up to be very successful men and women.
Jun was different though, most orphans were brought to the orphanage through a government system, Jun was simply left on the front steps, and even more strange were the bizarre black markings all over the baby's body. Takeshi should have reported him and turned him over to government run agencies, but compassion filled him and he took the boy in... Raising him as his own. When Jun was started in Kung Fu at a young age, younger the most. Takeshi pushing him almost from the time he could walk.
By the time Jun turned ten, he was excelling far beyond that of all the other students. He could move faster, hit harder, go longer, it was almost unnatural. Jun was the poster boy of the orphange, exactly the kind of child they were trying to raise. However, in two years all that would change. When Jun was twelve all kinds of strange things began to happen, he began to grow taller, have more muscle definition, have hair in places he never had it before, mutate into a psycopathic murderer, you know; all the normal puberty changes. Jun nearly killed two other orphans at the orphange before having to be knocked out by Takeshi himself.
Over the next several years, Takeshi realized quickly it was emotions that set Jun off, so he taught him how to control himself completely. Then, when Jun was sixteen, he began slowly forcing the mutation out of him and teaching Jun how to control it. Though, over the course of the next year, Jun's world was flipped upside down. Takeshi was killed by strange men, who began hunting Jun as well. Jun was forced to leave the country of China, going to America, the "land of opportunity" as some called it, hopefully the land where he could escape from his past. This is the story Jun has told his closest friends in America, there are a lot of holes in it, if you want to know the rest of the story, you'll have to ask him yourself.
