Ray watched as the cat sniffed his palm.So she was not scared,she was just curious.She was a cat after-all.Ray was very excited at this.
"You like this?Let me show you more.",he said almost shouting in excitement.He liked showing his ability.Since,he was born in a circus,showing various 'tricks' to others was fun to him.
"You know I was a fire-breather once in the circus.",he said jumping up.
Franky jumped down and sat beside the cat.He liked playing audience. Also,he knew it would be dangerous to be near him if he messed up.
Ray went a few meters back and took out a small fire-lighter from his pocket,the one he used to ignite the crackers.
"Ladies and gentlemen.....umm I mean cats and meerkats,let me present you,fire-breather Ray!",he said in an almost shouting and excited tone.
Franky clapped at that.Yeah,he really like playing audience.
Ray inhaled air with all his strenghth,brought the lighter in front of his mouth,ignited it and exhaled the air in that direction.His breath,being cumbustible,caught fire and it was like a fire-breather in action.
Ray paused,took a few breaths, and exclaimed,"How was it?Awesome,right?You should have seen when I blew up the entire tent!It was a mistake though.."

Kristy watched as he played with the fire with the meerkat she tought it was funny how the meercat clapped like he was humman the fire scared her at first she watched as it blew she was sure this wasn't something you should do on the side of a house even if you had control.
Once he was done Kristy jumped up and ran towards him wanting to see the lighter and do it her self she pawed his hand with the lighter and kept blowing at it that how he did it he just blew on the fire and poof it was big but how come it wasn't working for her it was a magic trick or something, if he did this at the circus what else did he do there, She was kind of wanting to know more about these Fury's and who they where there Circus seemed fun and well if she sayed in cat form no one would no she was there right.
Maybe Ray chould take her to a show there and maybe there was sweets they chould eat and more fireworks she like more fireworks, and fire well not if it hurt her but Ray wouldn't hurt her he liked cat things and meercats and the meercat seemed to like him

Ray laughed as the cat tried to blow the lighter.He understood that she must be wondering how he did that.Anyone who didn't know about him would wonder about that,so it was no surprise.
"You won't be able to do this.Its a trick only I can perform.Well,everyone has his own good tricks. You see, Franky here is good at stealing,making faces and other little mischievous acts ,you saw my trick too.Everyone has some specialty.My dad told me that.Even you must have something of a talent.hmmm....",he started wondering at what talent that cat must have.Maybe sneaking,or some other mischief.
It was then he caught Franky's eye.He was certainly not happy about the vivid description of his abilities.He gave Ray a 'you will pay for it' look.
"Haha well.. Franky has some good ones too..haha It's just that I can't remember.Maybe, eating or sleeping,or...".That only made the matter worse.Now,Franky had a 'you are certainly going to die' look.
"Well sweets are good,ain't they?haha",said Ray diverting the topic.He started eating sweets quickly.

Kristy gave what could only be described as a smile to the boy when he talked about talents she looked at franky who didn't look happy at all she didn't know why he wasn't happy Stealing was a good talent she did it a few times, and eating was fun. Kristy looked back at Ray before she ran off towards the persons backyard, he seemed like he wanted to see her talents and Kristy tought of one she could do. She came back rolling a huge ball toward Ray with her head and kicking it everyone in wail with her feet until it hit his foot and smile at Ray,and hoped on to the ball her feet on the ground and her front paws on top of the ball so she was somewhat standing. She did her cat like smile at him looking at him wondering if he play with her or want to see what she should do now. She liked playing with balls and she could pretty much turn anything into one she just liked kicking things around and the reason she could turn anything into one was the freak show really didn't give her any toys so when people threw stuff at her she kick it around when she was board. even the lighter would keep her entrained for abit but there was no reason to use the lighter when she had found a real ball. beware the cuteness www.profimedia.si/photo/domestic-cat-kitten-playing-with-soccer-ball/profimedia-0077822929.jpg |

Ray watched as the cat went and brought a ball.It was fun to watch the cat playing with the ball.
"Awesome!!",he exclaimed clapping.
"You can do some cool tricks too!"Franky also clapped.
Although Ray had seen many animals performing different tricks in circus, but still,he never got tired.On the contrary,he always got excited.
"So you like toys like that.Next time,when I will come,I will bring you some toys too."
Franky also seemed excited by seeing the cat playing with that huge ball.He had seen various animals in circus performing tricks with the balls.He also thought of something and jumped on top of the ball.But doing that sort of thing was not his forte.As soon as he stood on the ball,he lost his balance and was going to fall down when he used his tail for balance and landed safely.He seemed quite annoyed with the ball.
"Haha!",Ray burst out laughing.
"Didn't I tell you to practice when we were in circus rather than stealing from the kitchen and dozing off always.",said Ray teasing.Although that was only partially correct because Ray would always be in cahoots with him too and almost every time,it was Ray's idea to steal.Annoyed and jealous Franky tried a few more times,but every-time was a flop and he finally he gave up behaving dramatically that he didn't care.

Kristy watched as the Meercat tried to walk on the ball she made a little snickering sound when it failed so many times when it went off to pout Kristy fallowed and nudged it and smiled at it before she ran towards the ball and hoped on top of slowly and started to walk her legs shacking as she did she walked a little bit before she hoped off the ball, it was really hard to do and she could only do it for a little wile she new the concept behind walking on the ball but she needed lots of practice.
She ran back over to Ray and smiled at him she rubbed her head against his leg she was being a lot more friendly then she was yesterday like she tursted him more he hadn't hurt her yet and he had brought her sweets and he promised toys tought she didn't know how he expected her to take any toys home being that he tought she was just a normal kitten and kittens really can't carry toys only one or two at max.
Kristy curled up at Rays feet and started to act like she was going to take a nap or something it may of only been noon but the sun was nice and it was a good time for a cat nap only a small one.

Ray clapped again when the cat walked on the ball.
"Wow! you can do this too.Amazing!"
Franky frowned in jealousy.
"Look Franky!She can do it.Hahaha someone is jealous now,isn't he?"
Franky again frowned even more and retaliated by taking a handful of sweets from Ray's hands and running in the corner to eat teasing him.'You deserve it was probably what he meant.
Ray was happy that the cat did not seem to be afraid now.It was just yesterday when he met with that cat and they were good friends now.It was a good progress.Ray really liked animals.Making friends with them was fun.He even wanted to be friends with animals in circus too.That is why he had once opened a lion's cage when he was little.But the lion didn't feel the same way as him and it took 30 minutes for his family to control the lion and cage him back.
'Maybe I will try becoming friends with him again when I return..',he thought.
It was noon now.Ray had been here too long but he didn't care.He had bunked the classes and didn't care to go back.He better not return as the teacher might be searching for him.'I wish I was a telepath.Then I could just erase his memory.It wouldn't be any trouble.',he thought.
He understood that the cat might be sleepy when the cat curled around his feet.
"So you want to sleep?Okay then",he smiled.Franky also came back and decided to sleep on Ray's shoulders too.

Kristy laid on the ground for wile and fell asleep easily with out thinking much about it. Her dreams where of some strange place with strange people again but it was normal for her.
But form the outside things started to get wired for anyone who didn't know who she was, Kristy cat form started to change at first it was just the fur changing form a normal tabby cat pelt to having spots like a leopard and parts of it looked like it was from a tiger. then she started to get more hummen like growing a hair, and growing larger her arms and legs grew, and with out Kristy even knowing she had turned back into her hummen like form. Witch was just a little girl covered in fur form head to toe.
This may of not seemed like much of a problem but being what her mutation was and everyone hated mutants Kristy never walked around like this, people liked cats more then they liked her people did mean things to her when she walked around like this and her sleeping in someone yard was not going to buy her any points with the people who owned the house and it was to far from the selter for her to quickly run with out anyone seeing her.

The cat fell asleep.After a few minutes,Ray decided to go back to dorms.
"The cat is asleep Franky,I think we should go back to the dorms now.We will come back again."
But Franky was not paying attention.He was staring the cat wide-eyed.
"What?Did you really fall for her?Hahahah!!!!..eh?",his laughter suddenly stopped as he himself looked at the cat.The cat's fur began to change.There were some spots appearing.
Ray watched frozen in the same pose as when he was laughing open-mouthed and wide-eyed.What was happening?The cat soon turned into a human girl with tiger like fur.Ray still didn't say anything and was staring at her not moving an inch,with his mouth open.On his head,Franky too had exactly similar kind of expression(except the fact that he was a meerkat).
Soon Ray came back to his senses."Waaah!!!"He almost shouted jumping back."The cat is now a human-cat!"
Franky was still staring speechless.Where did the cat learn such a cool trick?He also wanted to learn that.Transforming into human like form whenever you want and all.
"The cat is surely a mutant-cat!How cool is that!!!",Ray almost shouted again loud enough to wake the cat.

Kristy jumped awake she looked around seeing and how he seemed so shocked and looked at the little meercat wondering why it was looking like he had sneene something epic or he was scared out of his mind Kristy wasn’t sure that was tell she realized that she had hair ontop of her head and fingers.
Kristy grew wide eyed and looked scared out of her mind she quickly turned into a pure black kitten and started to run as fast as she could to the nearest allyway so she could hide and not get caught. There was a large garbage can that Kristy was able to slip under she stayed there hoping that the boy chouldn’t find her or get to her from under hear.
She was shacking so bad afraid that Ray would hurt her and she end up in some cage somewhere where all she got was raw yucky meat and things thrown at her cuz she was a monster. She was starting to think what new things that Ray might do that the others hadn’t we was able to breath fire maybe he try to burn all her fur off so she looked like a normal girl, maybe he let his meercat attack her or something it didn’t seem to like her all the time anyway so she was sure it was willing to hurt her and it did seem like it was scared of her at lest that what Kristy tought people never liked her only the people in her dreams did and the few morlock members.

Ray spoke too loud and the 'girl' woke up.
'I shouldn't have spoken so loud',he thought.
But the girl suddenly turned into a cat.
"Woah!That was awesome. You can...!".But he couldn't complete his words.The cat suddenly started running away.Ray realized that the cat must be afraid that he would hurt her now that her truth was known.She must be a mutant.
"Wait!Don't run!",he shouted and ran after her. It had just been today that he had made a new friend and he didn't want to lose her.It didn't matter to him if she was a cat or a girl.
He ran a bit further and then stopped.There was no sign of the cat.He couldn't find her.
"Franky!Can you find her trail?",asked Ray.But Franky had already started trailing her even without Ray asking.Franky was handy sometimes.He could catch scents and trail them like a trained dog,but this ability was rarely used,most of the time only to avoid certain people.The trail led them to a garbage area.Franky lost his trail due to the strong smell of garbage dump.But Ray knew that the cat must be hiding somewhere nearby.
"Please come out kitty.I know you are there.I won't hurt you I promise.You don't have to be afraid of me",he shouted hoping she would return.
"I don't care if you are a human or a cat.It means nothing to me."

Kristy hid under the huge garbage can and froze when she saw Ray feet and Franky moving back further in to the shadows so she couldn't be seen she lesioned to what Ray had to say but she didn't believe him. She didn't think that he wasn't going to hurt her, or do anything mean, and when he said he didn't care did that matter she had been tould before for so long that she was a monster, people tought she was a monster why would he be any different the only people who didn't care where the Merlocks and they all didn't look human either.
She knew with Franky being low on the grown he find her soon so she needed to think of away out before he found her she went to the side of the can and slowy started to sneak out not making eye contacted with Ray or franky almost like if she didn't then they wouldn't catch her sneeking out the side. Her plan was to get high and hop on top of the can and find something out of reach of the kid and his fire that she was still sure was going to hurt her.

There was no sign of the cat.She was not responding to his calls.
"Franky, you sure that she is here?",asked Ray.
Franky nodded in agreement.That was the place where the trail led him too.She must be there.There was no other place she could be provided she could not teleport.Franky started looking desperately for her.Ray also jumped into the garbage area and started looking for her.He had decided that he would find her no matter whatever happens.He would convince her that he is not the bad guy.He is not the kind of guy she must have been facing owing to whom,she had developed such feelings.
Franky was searching for her when he heard a slight rustle.He quickly turned that side to find the cat slowly making her way out of there.He quickly jumped on Ray's shoulder's.
"What?Have you found her?Where is she?",asked Ray.He spotted the cat too.
"Hey wait!Please wait!",he shouted,"I told you I won't hurt you.You are a friend and I don't hurt friends.I promise.So please stop!We will have more fun together....more sweets.Please..."
He took a deep breath,became quite again,and said,"Okay,I won't stop you but please listen to me.",he paused for a while then said,"I live in a place where there are many people like you,I go to a school where many people just like you attend.But this is not a thing to be scared of.You know,you can do many things which others cannot and that is super cool.Everyone has his own plus points and minus points.You cannot always hide in the shadows of those minus points.Please reconsider.
I have assured you that I won't hurt you and we are friends.I don't think I am capable of doing anything more than promising at this level.It is up to you to believe me and stay or go back.But sill,I would be very happy if you stay"
Franky looked at Ray.There were very few occasions when he was as serious as this.He could clearly see the seriousness on his face.

Kristy jumped when he herd Ray spot her she bolted right under the trash can again she wight there all night if she had to that was until he calmed down a little and told her to listen to what he had to say she poked she slowly started to come out of hiding there was something different about the way he was talking then how he normally did.
She looked at him still looking like she was going to bolt any second before she started to turn back in to her human self her mich match fur over her bear body Kristy held her self tight and looked up at Ray why he was in the trash can, her nose was wringled form the smell of everything in the area “Monsters can’t have friends” she whispered in a dry vosic that sounded like it was never used .
She looked down at the ground unmoving she wanted to wrap her self in a blanket or something she kept glanceing up at Ray to see what he do she was a monster in every way she say she had claws made for riping things and sharp pointed teeth, her body was built for hunting things like most felines do she could turn into a tiger and a lion, her ears where made to hear small sounds and her nose built for smelling things better then a human why wouldn’t she be a monster she was made to hunt monsters hunt and no one liked her she was sure

Ray had lost hope that she would come and was about to go back disappointed hen the cat came back.He was glad that she came back and even more when she reverted back to her original form.At first he was shocked to see the state of her body,but then he calmed down again.
"You are no monster.You are just a bit different.You can turn into cat anytime and I think its awesome.I don't care about your appearance.We can still be friends right?",he asked.
He looked at her.She was really different.He was shocked to see her.But not because of appearance, he thought he had seen her somewhere.He couldn't remember where,but he had.He was certain about that.He could remember some flashbacks.A small girl being taken away and a boy,who was him many years younger,struggling to stop her.But it was all he could remember.He couldn't remember before or after that incident.But he was not sure if she was the same girl.
Franky on other hand was still shocked.He didn't believe she was a mutant.He still thought she was a cat who knew an amazing trick to turn into a half-human.He jumped near her and started to examine her disguise.He was also not afraid as he still believed her to be a cat.
