Kristy was walking around as a tabby cat or well more kitten, around the streets of New York she wanted to see everything, now that she was out in the world why couldn’t she size its not like she get in huge trouble going out Cillian did it all the time in fact she even when out when he was out so he wouldn’t get mad at her for leaving and want to fallow her.

The city was huge and Kristy was going in every window of every shop to see what was in side she fallow some people to see what they where up to even if she didn’t like humans at all she still wanted to know what they did with there lives, how they walked how it seemed that they wouldn’t notice a thing around the city in fact the only people it ever seemed that did notice her where little kids and they all wanted to pet her witch Kristy wasn’t going to let anyone she didn’t know pet her so she always run away.

Kristy had spent most of her day walking around when she smelled something in the air it was sweet Kristy fallowed the smell to a bakery and sat in the window like she had at so many other stores, the store smelt so good she saw all sort of sweets through the window her eyes growing wide with lust for the sweets and her tummy growling ever so much she knew she couldn’t just walk in and ask for one she scare everyone and even as a cat she couldn’t walk in they kick her out.

It had been a tiring day for Ray since he had attended the classes today.It was the 6th time of month when he didn't play truant and attended classes sincerely.But it was not because he wanted to study.It was because his mind had picked up an amazing idea while wondering what to do with the left over fire-crackers which he brought from his home,the Fury circus.He had planted them underneath teachers table and was tempted to wait it till they explode.
"And it was worth it,right Franky?",said Ray,with a big grin.
Franky nodded putting his tail straight up in air.This was the symbol of his agreement.
Frankenstein, was his pet meerkat and his partner in crime.He liked to be called Franky by some.Ray had found him when he was still in circus.Then he was forced to attend the school for mutants and Franky went along him.
"Why don't they let me study in the circus only,like everyone does?Its not like I am going to do anything other than circus work when I grow up....",he spoke.Although he had asked this question many time and every time,he would get the same response,
"..because you will blow up the entire circus,if you are allowed to practice here...Plus, you are too mischievous ...".
And they were right.He had blown up the tents three times.... once, when he realized he had powers,second,when he realized his powers were cool,and third when his family realized the coolness of his powers.
"But what about the mischievous part...?"
Then he remembered the answer given by his parents on this question....
"Remember when you fired that rocket which went straight for that baldy customer's head?And that time when you opened the cage of the lion out of pity.
And don't dare to forget that time when you got that string of your aunt's gown and you..........."His thoughts were interrupted when Franky started jumping on his back.

"Huh! you smell something good to eat?Cool!!",he exclaimed.
"Come on then lets go!!"

As he neared the cookie shop, he found a cat.Seeing her,Franky jumped back.
"She is just a cat Franky, and you are a trained meerkat.You shouldn't be afraid."
But still,Franky, being afraid of cats,remained behind Ray.
Ray was fond of cats so he decided to tame her.
"Hey there little Kitty."
he sat on his knees and said smiling.

Kristy licked her lips a little as she saw a girl who was eating a cookie Kristy would of sighed if she could of the cookie looked so good she was about to give up her tummy growling no use standing in windows when you know you can’t have what in side. When saw a older teen boy with a meerkat witch was really odd she thought but was odder was there was something about this boy that was filular.

She stepped back almost walking off the window ledge over the meerkat and the boy. When the boy droped down on his knees and called her, she looked up at him and was very hesitant to come over her green eyes not leaving him or the meerkat you could tell she was scared and didn’t want to come at all she only made it about ½ way to him tell she laid on the gowned. She didn’t look like a very pretty or well token care of cat, she only appeared to be a kitten her fur was sticking up in odd ends she was skinny and ill feed, yes she had been eating better lately scene she gotten on the streets food that was actually cooked and more then just raw meet but she still wasn’t 100% to what she should be.

Ray figured out she was hesitating to come.Maybe she was too scared.Of Franky?He looked at Franky and he himself was behind him and gave Ray a look as if saying,'Why the hell will I be scared of a cat?'but still ,he was too scared to move forward.
Ray thought of something and said to the cat,
"Just wait here or a sec "
and he bolted off to the bakery.
Franky looked around,realized he was alone,and then he ran with double the speed towards Ray,partially because he was scared of cats,and also because he wanted his share of cookies.
Soon Ray came back with a bag full of cookies i.e. a BIG bag full of cookies,because he loved cookies.Particularly,he loved almost everything that could be eaten and digested by a normal human.He again sat and called out to the cat.
"Here kitty, you wanted this,right?",and he offered her cookies with a smile.

Being in a circus for most of his life had made him expert in sensing the feelings of the animals.Although,he was not as expert as his cousins but still he could guess what that cat wanted.
On the other hand,Franky was now content with his share of cookies and sat in a corner munching them and looking for an opportunity to grab Ray's share too.

Kristy just looked at the Merkat when the boy left into the store her green eyes scaning the thing she still couldn’t understand why he had one with him, but it soon bolted off to go find the boy in the store.

Kristy was about to turn and leave when the boy came back with a bag of cookies Kristy moved a bit closer to the boy smelling the sweet smell of the cookie it smelled so good and fresh. With her tummy growling she made her way back over to the boy, and bit in to the cookie her tail slightly moving back and forth, after the first bite she jumped back a bit to eat it then she come back for another bite it wasn’t until about five bites that she stayed and just ate still nervous of everyone around her eyes watching the boy and his pet once the first cookie was done she tried to look for another one that wasn’t with the mercat she looked at him with her big eyes her tummy still growling that and she really liked sweets she almost do anything for a sweet and this boy had given her one and she knew he chould give her more.

"Yay! you like sweets!",exclaimed Ray.He passed a few more sweets to her and started patting her.Whenever Ray would tame any animal,he would be as happy as if he has won an award.He was really glad.
On the other hand,Franky was now getting more and more jealous.hen he looked at her being so shy,he understood she was not so dangerous after all.Now he jumped in front of Ray,expecting another serve of sweets for him too.
"No! I already gave you many.Now this is my share.",said Ray.
Annoyed and jealous at this,Franky grabbed some sweets and started to run.
"Come back you little!!",Ray shouted and ran behind him.But suddenly,he came to rest.What would happen to that cat?he thought.
Probably,there was no place this cat could go.He looked around.There was no one who looked like its master.Maybe,that cat was a stray.Should he take her with him?
But then he thought of Franky.Surely,he wouldn't allow that.Once he had brought a cute little puppy with him and all that Franky did was fight with him all the time.
He couldn't take it to the school either.
Then he thought about the circus.Yes!that could be a place.She was just a kitten so there was no way that she could be caged there.Also,the Furies took care of their animals really well.Maybe she would be happy there.Yes that's it.
He went to the kitten and carefully lifted her making sure that she doesn't get hurt.

"Come on!We will go to place where you won't have to worry about the food anymore.The people there are very nice and wont let you feel alone or sad.They will really take care of you."

When he first patted her she got wide eyed and bated his hand away as soon as he touched her back making it clear that it was a no no, the second he fell her back to he tell that there was long scars along her back, she wouldn’t search him for just patting them but she would run away again if he tried to look at them. Kristy almost made a laughing sound when the little merkat stole the cookies she actually was thinking about chasing after the merkat and bringing it back to the boy mostly to see if she could get another cookie out of it.

When he picked her up and said they where going somewhere she emiditly started to squirm in Ray arms, she only been at her new home for a few weeks she didn’t want to go anywhere else there was the promise of food but still she couldn’t trust this boy, he may hurt her once they got there like the scaring man did at the show. Kristy stoped for a second and sniffed ray all her hairs on her standing straight up she wasnted to know about this place before they got there if he was planning on taking her there then he probully been there before. There was lots of smells that where odd on him that she didn’t know but there was one that she found intesting mostly because she swore she smelled it before, she couldn’t place where like a dream almost a good one she was sure, she bated his arm where she was smelling before smelling again. Once she was sure she got the sent down she started to flip out again not wanting to go to this place it probully come arcoss that she didn’t want to be picked up tough.

Ray quickly put her back realizing that she didn't wanted to be picked up.Maybe she didn't want to go to the circus and liked this place.It can't be helped then.
"So you want to remain here.You must really like this place",he smiled kindly.
Franky had gotten too far,but seeing that Ray wasn't following him,he returned disappointed.He started to show-off the sweets he grabbed hoping that Ray would come after him and when he does so,he would quickly eat those.The expression on Ray's face then would be worth a million sweets.But Ray,on other hand didn't show any response.
Dejected,Franky came back and found a comfortable place around Ray's shoulders and started to eat.
Ray thought for a second and said to the cat,"Okay I will leave you here then,if you are happy.Nice to meet you little kitty."He passed a few more sweets to the cat.
As he was getting up,he found that some of the colorful spiral crackers were still left in his pockets.These spiral crackers were special and made rainbow colors when ignited. He had planned them to deploy outside some student's room.
"Maybe you will like them",said Ray taking them out.
Franky protested at burning them as the former idea would be better.As a form of protest,(and also because he wanted to get his revenge from Ray for ruining his plan)he started waving his tail in front of Ray's face.
Ray,being too excited,didn't pay attention to that empty protest and continued by quickly removing his tail from front of his face.Another set-back for Franky!
Ray went to the shady part of the building and ignited the cracker there.It burst with a beautiful rainbow colored light.

Kristy hoped down and was more then happy that she was staying. She had a cookie in her mouth when ray started to leave but then he wondered if she like something she watched him the cookie in her mouth the hole time ready to run if she had to with the sweet.

She jumped at first hiding behind ray watching the light show it was loud like any fire work so her ear where down but she steped from behind Ray and watched the show, once it was done she turned to Ray and started trying to get to his hand for another one she wanted to light it it didn't cross her mind that she was a cat right now and she couldn't light one, she was making a light purring sound, she liked Ray he reminded her of someone she just didn't know who maybe it was one of the people she dreamed about all the time they where nice people always there in her dreams but over time a lot of them had lost faces just becoming memories.

She looked at Ray with her big green eyes, and Franky she liked these two she wished that she could play with them more she also did want to chase Franky around to but that was mostly because he was around her size she be gentel but she didn't think Franky liked her.

At first,when the cat hid behind Ray,he understood she was afraid of crackers.Well,any cat would be afraid of crackers.He had precalculated that risk.But then after a few moments,it seemed that she started to like them.Ray was happy about that.
"See, I told you that you will like these",he said.
He put his hands in the pocket to take out another cracker,but unfortunately,he had used up all the crackers he had.
Franky was specially angry at this.All his attempts to win attentions were failure.All his crackers were gone.All the sweets were now finished.All the fun gone.He now decided to go to sleep around Ray's shoulders to make up for that.
The sun had already started to set.Ray's sweets were finished too and the cat didn't want to come to the circus.He thought of going back to the dorms too.
"I think I should be going now",he said.
He wanted to stay there a bit longer but he needed to buy certain supplies before returning to the dorms.He didn't actually care about the curfew, but still he decided to follow it.He would be happy if he gets suspended because he will get an opportunity to go to the circus.
"We will meet again soon.I promise I will come again",said Ray smiling.He waved his hand and decided to leave.Franky also waved his tails as a sign of goodbye.

Kristy smiled at Ray wanting him to get another cracker out but when he didn’t her ears droped and her tail, she understood that he was out but still it was fun, the fireworks reminded her of her dreams with the strange people. Kristy watched as Ray walked away and said he be back soon she sighed waighted tell he was out of sight before she turned into a little girl picked up what cookies where left on the ground and ran to the entrance of the merlock base. the Sewers where still stinking but she lurend the best thing to do was just to plug her nose and run until she got to the bomb selter she put the cookies on the table and curled up and went to bed.

That night she dreamed of the wirde people again but this one was one she had nearly forgoten she was there and so where two adults sometimes they have faces and sometimes they wouldn’t they where showing her some strange things one was someone who was throwing fire and then there was a man woman who was doing cartweels, the two adults where super exsided and tould her that when she was older she chould do that type of stuff to but she had to stay, Latter a boy who was older then her came he had dark hair he smiled and was telling her that some day he and her could do an act together it be cool, what was odd was the boy had Ray vocie, the dream went on and everyone was happy then sudonly something happend and she was being draged away she knew the man who was taking her he was the bad man that had hurt her for years, and when she looked up she saw Ray and he was crying.

Kristy woke up she didn’t understand what the dream was about why was Ray in it this time, normally when she had a dream about the strange people she didn’t know any of them but the boy looked like ray. Kristy got up steched and ate what was left of the cookie on the table. She wondared if Ray would be at the shop today she hoped so she hoped he had more fireworks to maybe one that was pink.

She turned back into a tabby cat and sat in the window of the sweat shop for hours seeing if he come that was untill the owner of the store came out and started to shoe her away with a broom saying that it wasn’t good to have some ugly stay sitting in her shop window.

The next day,Ray decided to visit that bakery again hoping that he could meet that cat again.He had decided to go there early but had been caught by a teacher for blowing up crackers the day before.It had been a hard time for him listening to boring lectures about ethics and manners before managing to run away using laughing gas,which he had stolen from Chemistry lab and had saved it for these kind of occasions.
He had found the last bit of remaining crackers and had decided to bring them along.Franky also didn't mind going there.It was a bakery after-all.And even if the cat wouldn't be there, he would get sweets anyway.
"This is the last stock of crackers Franky.I think we will have to visit the circus some time soon to get new ones.",said Ray while running through the streets.
Soon he reached the bakery.But here he found that the cat was being shooed away.
"Leave that cat !",he shouted and jumped in between.He noticed the angry glare that the owner gave him as if all his sweets were stolen, as Franky would describe.
"Ah! umm... we need some sweets by the way.",said Ray.
The owner of the store went inside to fetch some muttering something inaudible.Franky was tempted to pull his pants,or maybe jump over his head but he held back knowing that he was source of sweets for him.
Ray leaned down and said,"Hey kitty.I promised that I will come,right?"
Franky also jumped down and waved his tail standing on his hind-legs as a symbol of greeting.

Kristy hissed at the man who was trying to shoe her away and was about to take off when she herd Ray her ear’s pirked up and she ran over to him making a small puring sound.

She then hid behind Ray and did something most cats wouldn’t do she stuck her tongue out making a face at the mean man. before she looked back up at Ray she gave a big toothy smile at Franky when he hoped down she walked up and sniffed him and jumped on top of Franky and licked him she did that for a few second Franky didn’t seem to happy with it so she let him go she had wanted to do that for a long time now but Franky was never on the ground with her. As for Ray’s welcome she rubed agient his legs purring loady happy to see that Ray had come back that ment sugar and fireworks and with it being earlyer in the day who new what else unless he left.

Part of her wondered how he take to her not being a cat and really being a little girl who was a mutant but she didn’t want to scare him way. Alot of people where scared of her when she was like that she was a monster if you asked alot of people an ugly one, but maybe Ray wouldn't think that. then again he was just a kid who liked cats it seemed.

Franky jumped back as soon as she left her.Ray burst out laughing.
"Seems like someone likes you,Franky",he said in a teasing manner.Franky,annoyed jumped over Ray and started hitting his head with his tail.
"Hey! cut that out!I was just joking"
Then the store owner came back with sweets.It was then that Franky calmed down.
"You better take sweets and leave with your cat.Will ya?",said the store owner.
"Sure baldy",Ray teased and went out.Franky also jumped over the owner and took off his cap,giving clear view of his bald head.
They quickly ran outside laughing.Ray could hear the shop owner's curses.
"Great job Franky.You deserve this",he gave Franky his share of sweets.Franky sat quietly on Ray's shoulders eating.
Now Ray turned to the cat.
"Here kitty,this is for you",he said and laid a large amount of sweets in front of the cat.
Now he took out the crackers.
"These are the last ones I could find.These are not many but I'm sure you will like them.It's from Fury circus after-all"
He went near the shades of a house and ignited the crackers.They burst with beautiful colors.Ray didn't realized that he accidentally had ignited his fingers too.When Franky started jumping,Ray realized his mistake.Although Ray could now control his powers,but still,he messed up sometimes due to carelessness.
Until he realized,his half of the palm had already 'evaporated'.
"Oh crap!",he said and quickly concentrated and put his palm back together.
"phew! at-least it didn't explode.",said Ray.
He looked back at the cat wondering if she noticed.He didn't want to scare the cat.

Kristy didn’t like the store person but she sat out side and watched as franky took the cap off the guy and snicked as he did. As soon as Ray was out of the shop she ran up to him and was more then happy to get some sweets form him she ate them happly she was going to get so fat if she kept this up everyday but she didn’t care.

Kristy tilted her head when he said Fury why did that sound so fillular she didn’t like the circus part circus’s reminded her of the freak show but Fury sounded almost inviting to her witch was strange. She watched as the fireworks went off she ran around in circles it was still loud so her ears had to be down she kind of wished she was in human form so she could cover them and still jump around, She was jumping before she noticed something odd with Ray hand.

she stoped watching the show and turned to him and watched as his hand disapeared and then reapeared she walked over and started to sniff it bating it a bit with her paw, what happend there it wasn’t that it scared her she just wanted to know what it was besides diffent she had seen alot of strange things in the past and she always had to find out what happend with them.
