Kenzie had taken a step after the girl before she stopped and laughed softly. "This isn't a date trust me. This is buisness and I want to make sure no one over hears our conversation unless there one of us." She shot him and smile than headed after the girl. "Come on lets go before we loose Rebecca." She didn't wait for a reply just walked.
Rebecca showed them to a nice spaceous room with table and chairs. "Rebecca can you bring me my usual please and what ever he wants my treat." Rebecca turned to Alucard and waited for his order.
Kenzie took the seat near the window. It's where she always sat when she came here for a meeting with someone. She liked this room because of all the pictures of Roses. She refused to go to any of the other rooms. Everyone who worked here knew that. And if she came and requested it and someone was already in this room they would move them out and into one of the other rooms.
Outside the window was a beautiful rose garden with yellow, white, red and even the rare blue rose bushes. It was Rebecca's power. She couldn't talk which was sad. She had a green thumb she could control the plants and make even extint plants grow just by thinking about the plant and touching the ground. Sometimes Kenzie wished she had that power.

Alucard figured it wasn't a date to begin with so it was no surprise that it wasn't. He just followed Kenzie to the room and instantly loved the room. The pictures of the roses on the walls and most of all, the wonderful rose garden outside the window. His attention was instantly on the rose garden. He began studying it in a way that only another person who grew roses could understand. He thought it was extremely well tended, it was very healthy, and one of the best kept rose gardens he had seen. He had what was the closest to a full smile he had had in years on his face as he got done judging it. The woman who had brought them here, Alucard thought he heard her called Rebecca, got an almost overjoyed look on her face as he had smiled. He heard Kenzie order, which brought him back to the reason he was here, and he turned his attention back to her, which also took the smile from his face and back to his typical blank expression. He sat down across from Kenzie and looked up at Rebecca.
" I will take an Earl Gray with milk and lots of honey if you will please? Also, ignore what she said about this being her treat. I will cover our costs." Alucard said to the woman. " Also, could you bring out two slices of which ever cake that my lovely companion here likes the best?"
Alucard waited for Rebecca to get the order and quickly leave. He turned his attention back to Kenzie and looked at her for a moment.
" So shall we get straight to business or would you rather exchange more pleasantries for a bit longer?" Alucard asked her in a calm tone of voice. " I'm fine either way, it is all up to you."
Alucard just sat back as he waited for his tea and for Kenzie to answer him. He was obviously more suited to the role of the 'host' then the 'guest' in this kind of situation.

Rebecca smiled knowing that Kenzie's usual was a slice of coconut cake and a cup of the Chocolate Peanut butter Cappuccino. But she nodded and left the room locking the door as she left. Only the person inside could open the door if you didn't have the key which she did.
Kenzie watched as Alucard's mouth opened in aw. He looked at all the pictures before he spotted the garden outside the window. She could tell he really liked it. She was glad to find out she had picked the right place to come.
Shaking her head she laughed softly, "that is my usual a slice of cake and a cup of cappuccino. But ok. I come here at least twice a week. And it is on me she will automatically put it on my tab. So to bad about that. I always pay when i bring people here. They never pay."
"Ok lets get to business. This room is sound proof no one can hear a word that is said in here. If you played a set of drums real loud you still wouldn't be able to hear it. The glass is also bullet proof. This is a very safe room." After explaining that kenzie tried to figure out how she should start.
"Ok as you know I'm a mutant and your a mutant. I represent a group of mutants called the Brotherhood. We wish to keep the mutant breed safe from human harm. We train all mutants until they have mastered there powers. With us they can find a safe place to live. Some wish to fight along with us against humans. I would like to offer you a position in the Brotherhood. I can see you can control your powers very well. So you must have trained hard to be able to control them so well. But there are other things the Brotherhood can give you besides safety. We have people who can teach you self defense so you don't have to use your powers if your in trouble. You can learn karate and many other forms of marshal arts. Our leader is Victor Creed but it is only temporary until we find our true leader and free him from the humans who have him imprisoned."
Kenzie waited for Alucard to think about what she had just said before continuing. Just than she heard the click of a key unlock the door and Rebecca came in carrying a tray. She set the drinks by them and placed the slices of Coconut cake down as well before leaving again locking the door behind her.

Alucard was curious as to why she had brought him to this room, but as soon as she mentioned the brotherhood, he really didn't pay her words as much mind as he planed on to begin with. He already knew plenty about the brotherhood, he had a family member as one of their members after all, but they wouldn't want him anymore then the Xmen would. He was a Nightshade after all, and a black sheep of his own family too. He just waited for her to finish what she was saying. He looked at her a moment after it was clear she was done talking.
" I'm sorry, but you are asking the wrong person to join the Brotherhood. I am neither for nor against them personally, but it is not a good idea for me to join them." Alucard said to her in a calm tone of voice. " There is nothing they can offer me that I don't already have. I can get any kind of training I need already, I was already taught more about how to control and master my powers then most of your members since I was 12, and I do not need the safety they offer. Let me tell you right now why that is and perhaps it will make sense to you. I am Alucard Nightshade, a member of the Nightshade family, one of the oldest mutant families to walk this planet. I had control and mastery of my powers, training in all kinds of martial arts, and weapons training beat into my very marrow since I was able to walk. While I may seem like such a great 'catch', the Brotherhood would be taking a great risk of unbalancing the already fragile power of authority that is already in place right now. You do not like Victor Creed, and I am sure many others do not as well, but even if Magneto was still in power, he would still be taking a risk to have a member of the Nightshades as a part of the group. I would never wish to take control, but that doesn't mean that my family might not take some interest in the group and do so. There is your answer my dear, I am sorry it is not anything you hoped to hear."
Alucard waited a moment before he added, " Now is there anything else you wish to speak with me about?"

Kenzie could tell he wasn't listening and it made her angry. This was a waist of her time and a waist of her money. "You know on second thought the bill is all yours. I'll have Rebecca give you the bill." Her eyes where burning with anger and she was tempted to use her powers but she held back.
"Yes I saw I was asking the wrong person shortly after starting. I don't know why I bothered to continue." Hearing that he was a Nightshade member sent a thrill of fear down her spine. But she kept it from showing on her face or body. "Yes your quite right you wouldn't even be welcome in the Brotherhood. And again your right I hate Victor Creed. I can't stand the sight of him let alone hearing the filthy beasts name."
Getting up Kenzie walked turned her back on him. She was wearing a sleeveless dress so the tattoo of the rose with blood dripping from it's thorns was very clear. "No I'm done with you." Turning back around ship sat back down and ate her cake and quickly drank her cappuccino. "But if you have anything else to say before I make my leave by all means feel free to."

Alucard watched her get angry and start saying something. She started to storm off, but stopped for some reason so he decided to see what she was up to. The sight of her tattoo got his attention right away. He was surprised anyone had such a familiar tattoo to his on them. He was still looking at it when she suddenly turned back around and sat down. She mentioned something about him saying something to her. He wasn't for sure what to say since his mind was on her tattoo and him saying he was staring at an exposed part of her back would sound bad unless he mentioned it at the exact right time. Although he wasn't much of a talker with new people, so he decided if he couldn't talk then he would take the next route.
Alucard took off his jacket and waited until Kenzie was looking at him. When she was, he lifted up his left arm's sleeve to reveal his own tattoo of a bleeding rose with a chain going around it to her. He wasn't sure what kind of response that would get out of her, but better to wait and see what she said then come up with some pointless topic. He just sat back and drank his tea as he waited for her reaction.

Kenzie was almost done with her drink and was about to get up to leave when she saw Alucard take off his jacket and raise his arm. She raised her eyebrow wondering what he was doing until she saw the tattoo. She was taken aback. She couldn't believe he had a tattoo that was like hers. Only difference was his had a chain wrapped around his. What was he trying to prove to her? Had he seen her tattoo? She than realized that he must have seen it when her back was to him. She had had that tattoo for so long she often forgot it was there. It was something she had done as soon as she joined the Brotherhood. It was supposed to be a symbol. She was the rose that was bleeding. She had bean hurt bad and she never wanted to forget about her childhood.
"Interesting tattoo by why show me? Do you think it will make me like you or something? Mine is a symbol while yours is probably just something for you to show off. Where two completely different people Alucard. And that will never change. I wouldn't be surprised if you ended up joining the wimps that call themselves the X-men." With that she finished her drink and stood up. "I doubt we'll be seeing each other again Alucard."

Alucard listened to what she had to say to him in reply. He wasn't sure what she meant by making her like him more. He wasn't the socializing type after all, so why would he be trying to get her to like him? He had already gotten her a little unbalanced with just showing her his tattoo, so now it was time he followed through and finished what he had unintentionally started.
" Something that is bleeding represents the blood one has shed in there life. The flower represents how delicate their life truly is. And the chain represents being bound to some kind of event or thing." Alucard said to her before he pushed back his right sleeve to show his other tattoo of a bleeding nightshade flower with a chain around it. " I have two of them on me and they aren't just for show. I'm guessing we have more in common then you realize my dear. The tattoo on my left arm represents how much I have bleed just to forge my own way of doing things that is separate from the way my family does things and how I am now bound to continue down this path until I have no more blood to shed. The tattoo on my right represents how I much have bleed for the sake of my 'family' and how no matter how much I struggle and fight to get away from it, I can not escape them and they will continue to bleed me dry until there is nothing left of me. I don't know what kind of pains you have gone through, and I won't even ask you to tell me what they are. I have a feeling that you know some of my pain though, but I'm just glad that your tattoo doesn't have the acursed chain in it. Who knows if we shall ever meet again, but either way, it was a pleasure to meet you McKenzie."
Alucard wasn't for sure what she was going to say, but he had gone ahead and told her about something he hadn't told anyone else so as far as he cared they were even now. He just sat and waited to see what she would do, either leave or stay.
