There was just something so comforting about the feeling of sand on barefeet Charlie thought, even if it wasn't the same as the sand on the beaches of Hawaii. Charlie was currently sitting on the beach with her legs pulled up to her chest and her sandals laying next to her, just staring at the ocean, the setting sun giving the scene an orange glow. This had come to be Charlie's favorite spot since moving t the main land, and she would always come here when the noise of the city became to much for her. She really did prefere the small cities of her home to the crowds of New York.
There was just something so calming about looking at the ocean in all of it's simplictiy, though granted she would rather be out on it then just look at it but the waves here didn't get big enough to surf on. It was a shame to since she loved doing. Letting out a sigh Charile leaned back on closed her eyes, feeling the evening breeze on her face. It was probably start time to be heading back to the school since it was getting late, but she wanted to stay until the last possible second.

Olivia didn’t like her mother’s new “job”. Working at a circus. What the hell was a circus anyway? Some miserable excuse to imitate monkeys, that’s what she thought. And from what she’d seen, nothing convinced her otherwise. Monkeys wannabes, without a doubt. Either way, it got on her nerves. People running every which way. Throwing knifes, breathing fire, playing card tricks. She didn’t get why people thought these little tricks amazing. Why would you pay to see something so boring?
So, obviously, when she had the chance to escape, she took it. She was always running off like this, searching for a larger body of water every day. Finally, on one such search, she found the coast. The sea. She’d never seen so much water before in her life..
Olivia just stood there on the beach, staring out at the seemingly endless body of water with eyes wide as saucers. She didn’t look surprised though, just… wide eyed for no reason. The sun still had another hour before setting. Plenty of time for a swim. With out bothering to change into a swim suit, she made a dash for the water, and as soon as it was deep enough, dove, soaking her blue jeans and black tank top. Within only a matter of moments she was farther out then most dared to even swim… And after a few minutes, she still hadn’t risen to the surface. Anyone watching would be convinced she was drowning…
