Alucard normally would have stopped training outside after it had gotten this cold, but today he just felt he had to. He had been practicing his self-defense, weapon skills, and hand-to-hand combat stills in a practice room since winter set in. However, today there was this warmness to his body that he couldn't explain and it was too uncomfortable to practice anywhere but out in the cold weather. He was in a pair of closed top shoes, dark red sweat-pants, and a dark red hoodie as he practiced. He knew that what he was wearing wasn't nearly heavy enough to be keeping him as warm as he felt, but he couldn't figure out why he wasn't colder. He had had several odd things going on with his body lately though. He felt like he could fell heartbeats that weren't his own, he smelt the blood from a piece of raw steak as if it was right under his nose even though their was so many other more powerful smells around such as curry and garlic. He couldn't explain it, and he needed to be away from all the people in the mansion, all the background noise they created. He needed time to think and he always felt more focused when he was in a quiet place like the woods.
Alucard was so focused on what he was doing and with his own thoughts that he didn't notice any of the things going on around him. Mostly just wild woodland critters such as squirrels and rabbits moving around in the snow looking for food. He was completely unaware of his surroundings.
