Rowan thought for a moment then shrugged a little. "Ah doubt anyone will wander out here. There's too much to do." At least he always thought there was too much to do. "As long as ye are up fer it." He smirked to her playfully while he leaned a little more into her side. It was a big risk but he was worried about her more. Perhaps if this would help her then she wouldn't be so distraught. That would be better. Not to mention it would be better for her act as well. Though it was almost to the point where he wished someone would find them. Finally get this whole affair out in the open.
He had to turn his attention back to the real world eventually and it seemed that their time alone wouldn't last much longer. He would hold onto ever moment that he could but it wouldn' t last...it never does. Rowan turned his head to lean in and press his lips to hers again. It would be a farewell kiss for now. He pulled back and smiled softly to her before reaching a hand up to brush her hair back. "Be careful today." He knew she was good at her 'talent' but the last thing he wanted to see was her on the ring floor injured. He would always wish her well. |

Lorleina nodded. Yes, she was up for it. She was up for anything as long as it was with him. She would stick with him until the very end that was for sure. She wished she could stay here with him forever but that was too much to wish for right now. Right now she would live for these small moments throughout the day. Sometimes they wouldn't have these moments for days on ends and that was when she was on edge the most. Everyone could see it but no one really knew why she was in these moods. Her mother said it was the woman in her as well as the Gypsy.
"You too. I'll see you later tonight then?"
He was always wishing her well but she liked it It showed that he cared for her well being. She usually wished him well as well but with his mutation he didn't really have to worry about getting hurt. She loved to watch his acts. Seeing him in action made her happy. Just seeing him happy made her smile. She just couldn't wait until the day when this was all out in the open and they didn't have to hide anymore. She could openly make him happy instead of having to do so in these stolen moments.

He only hoped this little plan would work. It would make both of them feel better in the long run. All he had to do was make sure that he didn't do anything too out of place to hint to his activities at night. The worse he may run into was a few drunk clowns and they were easy enough to confuse. Even just transforming into a cat and scurrying off would be enough to get their minds to ignore what they had seen. And that was just if he was lucky enough to have only clowns spy him.
He nodded to her with the most charming smile he could muster at the moment. "Ah'll see you tonight." He gave her a little wink of his eye before he stood up from the tree root.
He started to walk away from her, but before he left the treeline he looked back at her. It killed him to leave her like this but he had to. Of course he had to finish up the chores for the morning. If he didn't go and feed those pesky elephants they would get really irritable. Irritated elephants were not condusive to a show or practice for that matter. |

Lorleina watched him stand up from the root. He had an agile way of moving so as not to disturb anything around him. Her eyes followed him as he walked away. This was the part in their stolen moments that made her heart break every time. She hated watching him go. She wanted to spend every second with her but that was impossible. They each had jobs to do. Maybe she could go to the animal enclosures to help with the training today. Then maybe she could see him a bit more.
But the one thing that was worrying her the most right now was how she was going to make it here tonight. She had her own small wagon that she slept in but she still had to make it around everyone that surrounded her including her parents and siblings. She just hoped that she didn't get caught sneaking around. Questions would be asked she knew that. She smiled at Rowan as she took one last look at him before she jumped up and grabbed a branch on the tree. She pulled herself up into the tree and Lolo soon followed her. She watched him for a moment from the tree before she swung from limb from limb to the big tent where the trapeze was set up.
