Okay, several things I need to talk about. I know it's a lot to read, but believe me, you guys need to read ALL of it.
FIRST! Everyone's lack of interest in the spotlights is really starting to get on my nerves. I am constantly having to remind people to vote, and when I don't remind them, no one votes for the entire MONTH, leaving me more work by basically forcing someone to pick the spotlights. I am just about ready to just remove spotlights all together, because of this. Also, when people do show an interest, half the time they nominate people who AREN'T eligible. This is a reminder! If they were made the month of, or the month before, THEY AREN'T ELIGIBLE! So you know what I mean, this means no one who was made in JUNE is eligible for a spotlight until AUGUST. This is on the rules for Spotlights. Read them.
Also, for those who've noticed... For some reason, the Previous Spotlights have been deleted. It will probably take me a few days to remake this thread, because it will take a lot of work. I won't be putting up all the previous spotlights because of just how much work this will be, so I will probably only go back 6 months.
I am seriously considering ending the Plague, because those who are infected are making absolutely no effort to pass it on. If you guy's don't remember, this plot is run by the members! Not me! It's extremely disappointing, that you guys are letting plots die as soon as I step back so you guys can take charge. This plot has been left up to you guys. Basically? If there's no interest by the 14th(You have one week), I am pulling it, and will be very hesitant to ever trying something like this ever again.
I am also really starting to consider holding Activity checks. I really hate how we get members, who leave us and never come back. I absolutely hate the idea of deleting inactive accounts, but we are getting a lot of them, and it can really hurt our image. So, At this time most the accounts that haven't been used this year have been deleted!
A friendly reminder, if you're going away, tell us! Make a thread in the MIA board so we know! If we start holding Activity checks, posting your absence will be the only way to save your characters from deletion.
Yet another idea that I am considering. And this idea would be focusing the board on the school more then everything else. This would mean removing lesser known groups, removing rarely used boards, expanding school grounds, and possibly updating and changing school policies.
Also, board changes will be going on this month. This can be renaming of boards, some being merged with another, deleted all together, etc. Basically? Some will be here at the end of the month, some won't.
For all the 'still considering' points I have made, if you have an opinion on them, pm me. I need input. I will be taking everyone's opinion into consideration! So if you hate said idea, but don't speak up, you can't complain when the changes are made.
And, my last point(at this time), is I am considering taking on one(possibly even two) Mod(s) to help around the board. Since losing half of our Admin team, and internet problems for the only one that remains(Rumi only does graphics for us, she doesn't handle anything on the board so she doesn't count.), I am being completely swamped by everything, and really need someone to help me out. You need to have previous Mod(or admin) experience, and been on the board long enough that I can trust you. If you're interested, please pm me with (SEVERAL) reasons why you should be considered.

Update!
Just a short, small update. We have a new Who's who system. So, instead of making a thread for all your characters, just post in the thread so we have all the lists in one neat list.
Also, I will be updating the application form very soon, so when I do, I'd like it if everyone updated their profiles.
Last but not least, we are moving to real time. So if it's, say July 2011 in real life(obviously) it's July 2011 on the board. Characters will age every year.
P.S. Dorms are being taken from 3 to a room down to 2! So everyone will need to reclaim a dorm. I'd rather not make the choice of who you stay with or not for you.

Update!
Last update for a little bit, I promise! Okay.. Not so much, there's a lot going on if you guys didn't notice!
Okay, this update is going to be a bit longer then the last, but not nearly as bad as that first.
First off, I would just like to explain what 'Live time', or real time, really is in a bit more detail. Basically, board time, matches real life, so characters will age, just like us, students will progress through grades(and graduate), pregnancies(though we haven't had that many on the board..) will take 8-9 months, and etc. As you can imagine, this is going to take a bit of coordinating to set up.
So! First, people who play students at a graduate age (18 or turning 18 this summer) need to basically decide if their character graduated, or make them a year younger. The rest of the student body is being sorted by age into grades(It would really help a lot of you guys started to include years on the birthdays now, so we can keep better track of grades).
Also, we are coming up with several 'student friendly' boards, places close to the school that they can go to just hang out, to make students more fun to play. If you have any suggestions for locations(Ice cream shops, malls, etc. Any place students would go), I am setting up a thread in the suggestions board for any places you'd like to see!
Last, but not least.... I'm sure every student is going to be happy to hear...... Uniforms are out. They weren't going 'exactly' the way I wanted, and I have decided to remove them all together.

P.S. Okay, I lied. A few members have suggested increasing the spotlight time to 3 or 6 months instead of every month. How would everyone feel about this? Should we add more Awards if we do this? Pm me your opinion!

Update!
So, this is a tiny update, that will affect students. I've decided that we will start holding Danger Room sessions(Actual threads)once a week or every other week, with a handful of students. These students will be randomly chosen, and notified a week before the session, as well as posted in the Danger Room(which will have a Bulletin Board once I get to making it). We want students to get to know each other better, to make friends and enemies, and learn cooperate with each other.
Because everyone will be participating in Danger Room from now on, I've decided to remove the Jr. X-men completely, as every student will technically be one.
Last, I need questions to finish the FAQ, it'd really help me out a lot of you guys could come up, and pm me any questions new members might ask regarding OOC or concerns they might have.
Yup, that's all. For now.
P.S. Lied again. Just letting you guys know, I have deleted all the accounts that haven't been active this year. (didn't want to wait.) So if one of your characters was deleted, but you still want to use them, you're going to have to remake them.

Update!
Okay, just so everyone knows what's going on at the moment. I am currently in the process of updating some of the board information. I've already updated the rules, so you might want to look that over, the 'Everything Powers' thread, X-men world, and the face claim. I will be starting some of the school information later tonight, and will hopefully have those done either tonight or tomorrow.
For the school clubs, if you have any ideas for what clubs we can offer, either pm them to me, or post them in the suggestions board. And I don't want things like 'AV club', 'Football team', etc. Let's be original! We will probably have a Drama and Newspaper club though, if people show interest in them.
Oh! I lied, I'm not just going to be updating threads. I just might change some of the school layout a little, but it won't be anything to drastic. Just warning everyone.

Just a reminder for everyone to vote for spotlights! These will be our first 3 month long spotlights, so put some thought into it! You have less then two weeks to do this! And I do NOT want to get after people about this a day before the deadline, or even worse a coupel days AFTER!
