Copy-cat: Basically when Lainey touches someone, she can copy them. Or, more specifically, trainable skills, and knowledge. By trainable skills, anything that can be taught. Her physical strength, flexibility, and such will not change with the skill though, so she is limited to what is physically possible for someone her size and strength. Knowledge isn’t nearly as limited, she can copy anything you’ve learned, and use the knowledge however she will. Currently, there is no known limit on how much she can absorb… But that’s because she keeps getting bashed in the head before they can find a limit.
Telepathy: She can read thoughts. Only surface thoughts, of course, and she can only focus on one person at a time, but it goes hand in hand with her copy-cat ability. She needs to know what she can copy before she touches the person after all!

First, the ‘reset button’. Basically, if you hit her hard enough on the head, she’ll forget all her gathered skills and knowledge. She’s incapable of retaining anything during a wipe, so she is literally forced to go and copy them all over again. As a weak telepath, she can’t hear everything, and if you’re trained to resist telepaths, there’s nothing she can do to get in.

Flexibility – She basically has to stay flexible, otherwise she will be very limited in what she can do.
Strong – Again, she has to stay as strong as possible so she’s not limited.
Over all fighter – Even without using a skill she’s copied, the girl is just…. You don’t mess with her. It’s a big mistake.

• Overall Appearance[/color] | Lainey is a tall, well built (definitely not twiggy, but not masculine) young woman who stands out in a crowd. Not just because of sheer height, but her peculiar appearance as well. Her dirty blonde hair falls just passed her shoulders, framing her pretty blue, and slightly oddly shaped, eyes. She’s fair skinned, but has quite a few freckles scattered across her face, arms, and legs.

She’s a pretty girl, there’s no doubt about that, but she’s the type that doesn’t seem to realize this. She dresses in hand-me-downs, which is a bit understandable with two older sisters! Well, hand-me-downs that will actually fit her. She’s quite a bit taller than both her sisters after all! Which can lead to some rather odd outfit choices…

Lainey is…. Well, a lot of words can be used to describe her. But for most people, country is one of the first that will come to mind. She’s the type of girl that doesn’t mind getting her hands dirty, and isn’t afraid of hard work. In fact, she’s the sort that prefers to stay busy. She’s not that much of a girly girl, not caring to much of her appearance unless something important is going on. She isn’t the squeamish type, and few things that you can encounter day to day scare her. Basically? She’s one tough, country, cookie!

She’s also a little too spirited for her own good. She’s vocal about her likes and dislikes, blunt when she feels she needs to be, and is willing to stab you in the back if you deserve it. Basically, She’ll let you have it if you ever get on her bad side… And will be the first to tell you something is stupid. Simply put, she says what she wants without any care for what you might think. Actually… there’s little proof that she cares what other people think in general. If you don’t like her? Good for you, she’s not going to lose any sleep over it. She expects you to take her for everything she is. And if you complain, that’s your problem. You chose to put up with her. She doesn’t change, for anyone.

Lainey can be a bit mean spirited if you irritate her enough, and she isn’t the type of person you want against you. Probably because, if need be, she can copy any skill she needs to get you. You prank her, expect to get something ten times worse. You pick on her, expect to get pummeled. Basically, she’ll hit you harder then you hit her. And it really doesn’t matter in her mind who you are. Sadly that means she’s pulled this stunt on her own siblings from time to time… Usually she gets in heaps of trouble for it…

Actually, she is always getting in trouble, for all sorts of reasons! From going after her older siblings when they come after her, to breaking rules and guidelines, to insulting customers. Basically, if you can get in trouble for it, she’s probably done it at least once.

The girl is quite the thrill seeker as well. She loves to live life on the edge, and has gotten hurt from this trait many times. She’s extremely bold in everything she does (as you probably guessed), and has a very dominate personality where she will squash you like a bug if you refuse her rule. She’s far to competitive for her own good, and can be a bit of a poor sport if she loses…

Strangely though, she can be a bit forgetful, and a little out of touch with things if you catch her at the right moment. She’ll pick up and drop conversations the second she gains or loses interest in it, even if it is at the most inappropriate time. She’s relatively unaware of trends and styles, and can act a little… well odd if you watch long enough.

Overall? Lainey is very unique. And proud of it.

Lainey is the youngest of four, making her the third daughter to Josephina and Benjamin. From a young age, she demonstrated an uncanny knack for copying people, and get on their nerves! As soon as she could walk, the girl was getting in trouble, and as soon as she could talk, she was bad mouthing everyone. Basically, she was an… odd child, even from birth. As she grew older, her bad behavior steady got worse, and she made quite a name for herself, specifically being an overall brat that you just didn’t want to deal with.

Because of her family’s life style, she moved around quite a bit as a child, all over Europe, and then the United States. Torment her siblings, torment her cousins, badmouth her parents, it was her way of life for most her life. It wasn’t until her later years, specifically when she was fifteen that she finally started to show an interest in her family’s business. It was around that point as well that it became apparent that her unnatural ability to copy people was actually…. Well an ability! Obviously, she’s started to use this ability to her own benefit, specifically conning guests, and when required (usually she has to be bribed) filling in for an act if the original carnie currently can’t perform.
