The small pieces of him were almost complete until the wall came crashing down on top of him. The nanobites had to start from scratch, moving around and through the wall and each other until they slowly began to reform and continue where they left off. It would be hours until his form would be returned to normal, and Rose would be long gone. Cain was soon back on his feet, dressed in his original clothing, flexing his fingers and looking around.
"Well now...didn't see that one coming."
He'd had many things done to him during his time in the future, but this was indeed the first time he'd ever been blown up from the inside. His body would have to work on adapting to it. He turned and looked to the wreckage that use to be his lab long ago, or in this case, only a few years. He had to admit things looked a lot different with the sun shining down and clear blue skies instead of the pitch blackness that was made during Alice and his daughter's rule. He smiled as thoughts of what he could do entered his mind. He then turned in the direction of the Nightmare's Island.
"Now it's time to make their lives a Nightmare." he smiled, laughing maniaclly as he walked away.
