"Well, eh... Ye wouldn't understand... Ih's too... Strategic and stuff..." Strategic and stuff? Well, he was banking on the fact that she really knew nothing about tactics. For all she knew, it really could be something he had planned, something to retreat to in a sense. Unfortunately, it wasn't... On rare occasions, very rare, Rory simply slipped up. Come to think of it, it always seemed to happen the most when Freya was around...
Anything else Freya said after that was completely ignored as a hail storm of bullets peppered the doorway around Rory, forcing him to duck inside the same time a blast of fire engulfed the area he had been standing. Well, that was naughty. He couldn't help but laugh a little... and he had no idea what he was laughing at. Situations of extreme violence and near death always seemed to make him a little giddy. Did that make him a little insane? Absolutely. Did it also make him a lot of fun at a party? Probably not, come to think of it... No wonder he was never invited to any of those ballroom dances back in the day...
Stuffing his nearly empty pistol back in the back loop of his belt, he tore off down the hall toward the bathroom. As soon as he set foot inside the room, the entire house seemed to shake a little, and groaned in protest of whatever was happening outside. Though Rory didn't know it, as he couldn't exactly sense things like that, the entire has was being set on fire and covered with ice at the same time. They were turning the building into a fiery, and frigid, tomb. If they didn't act fast, and together, everyone inside would likely be killed.
"Hell o' a party eh, lass?" Rory quipped to Freya as he got his feet under him and made his way to his suit. He always seemed to refer to life or death situations as "parties", it definitely showed how little he cared about his own life. Though in reality, he was rushing himself for fear of Freya getting hurt...
As he stepped into the suit, his hand caught on a small pocket that was inside the cushion filled exoskeleton. The pocket ripped open and the contents spilled out onto the floor. A single, humble, gold ring with a small diamond in the center fell out onto the floor between Rory and Freya. All sound seemed to disappear as the ring "tinked" a few times on the floor before rolling to Freya's feet and falling over. Rory froze in place, staring at the ring then slowly looking up at Freya as the suit began to close around him. His face was red, ten times more red than his suit, it seemed every ounce of blood he had was rushing to his cheeks... Yes, Rory was blushing.
The suit finally closed around Rory, though his helmet didn't yet as he was still frozen in place, completely at a loss for words. The entire battle seemed to stand still and time stopped as the only sound that Rory could hear was his heart pounding in his head. Freya saw the ring, he knew it, and knew there was nothing he could say now, but the truth. The massive red suit finally moved a little, falling down to one knee as Rory reached for the ring.
"I uh... I... I was saving this fer a... Better occasiona, bu' considerin' we probably won't make ih out of this alive, perhaps nows the best time..." Rory stammered slightly, his face still red as he grabbed the tiny ring in his massive armored gloves. "I had, a speech kind of planned out but eh... Ih basically went ta hell." He laughed nervously and akwardly as he inched forward.
"I suppose ih's fitting... When we first met, we were in a situation not too different from this... Battle has always been a part o' our lives, whether with enemies er each other."
Again, he smiled nervously, "I cannit say wha' will happen in the next few days... Bu' I can say this. I cannit think o' anyone else I would wan' ta have by my side at the end o' the world than you."
Slowly he reached out and grabbed her hand, holding up the ring slightly, "Freya Elensar... Will you marry me?" And so it was, a demon was proposing to the harbinger of chaos in the middle of hell... Could it really have happened any other way?

”…. Strategic and stuff…” That was the best he could come up with? Really…? Freya wasn’t a genius when it came to strategy, but she wasn’t an idiot. ”Try me.” Was Freya being a little harsh? Probably. She honestly didn’t like being a brat, it just… happened. She couldn’t help it.
Freya could feel the elementalists trying to mess with the temperature when she was inside. Glaring at the ceiling (Because, honestly, that seemed like the best place to glare.) she started to reach out, pulling the temperature in the house and around it under her control. ”Not on my watch….” She knew they couldn’t hear her, but it made Freya feel a little better. She was still glaring at said ceiling when Rory showed up. ”Oh yeah. All we need now is confetti, and we’re good.” She smirked a little. It wasn’t as sarcastic as her other remarks, probably because her attention was elsewhere…. Until she heard something.
What was that? She glanced down, wondering what that tiny little ping was… And found herself staring down at…. A ring? Not just ANY ring though… Like any other girl on this planet, Freya recognized an engagement ring when she saw one…. Which left one question in her mind. Why did Rory have an engagement ring..?
The answer should be simple, easy. But this was Rory! Badass Rory, who never wanted to be tied down by anything! The thought of him proposing? As mean as it sounded…. Freya had never considered it. It wasn’t meant to be mean though. Rory just didn’t seem like the marrying type. No offense meant. So, when he dropped to one knee, his face redder then her hair, Freya was in shock. ”What are you doing…?” Her voice was so quiet, it was a surprise she even managed to speak in the first place!
She was deathly silent, eyes wide as he stammered. Yes…. He was proposing. There was absolutely no doubt about it. Which only shocked Freya more, because, for a few moments she’d been thinking she’d completely lost her mind and was seeing things. As sad as it was? She wouldn’t be to surprised if she was…. Maybe there was hallucinating gas in the house! Everything would make total sense then!
Wait, bad Freya! Don’t jinx it! This is real! Not a hallucination! Pay attention! The man was trying to propose here! Thank god her expression didn’t give away any sort of internal debate or yelling at herself, instead that same shock from before was still glued there. When he finally said it though, finally ‘popped the question’, as Americans called it, Freya finally seemed to find her breath and voice. ”…Yes!” She probably looked just as stunned by her sudden response (And smile that appeared out of freaking no where), as he would when he heard her very quick answer.

This was probably one of the craziest things Rory had ever done, and he had done some pretty crazy things in his day. Most recently he had fought inside a mountain, then brought that mountain down on top of itself and rode the avalanche down. He had willingly been eaten by a freak, he had fought a helicopter WHILE freefalling to the ground and BEAT it. Yet as he kneeled down in that small little room, in the middle of no where, surrounded by people trying to kill them, this was definitely one thing not even Rory himself had expected himself to do.
Not only that, but he was absolutely terrified, and for the first time, it showed. As he knelt there, every second seemed to tick by like an hour as he waited for that damn answer. What if she said no? What if she didn't really want to be with him? Why did he even really care? Why did his face feel so hot? Why couldn't he feel his toes? The questions cycled through his mind rapidly, along with the fact that he honestly couldn't believe that he wanted to be tied down. As she said, he was "Rory", the wildest and the most free man alive... But he really did want this.
Then she said it, finally! Rory rarely showed any emotion, but as soon as she said yes, a broad smile broke out across his now permanently red face. Holding her left hand out, he slipped the ring onto her ring finger. Suddenly, a sharp noise in the doorway made Rory jerk his head over to see a soldier standing there with his gun raised to fire... but never did, as he was frozen by the sight before him. Everything seemed to stop for a moment, the soldier stared at Freya, then down at Rory, while Rory stared awkwardly up at him.
In the next second, there was a massive "BANG!" and the soldiers head disappeared from his shoulders, "Damn gawkers... Never seen a proposal before er wha'?" Rory said as he holstered his sawed off shotgun back onto the suit, then finished slipping the ring onto her finger.
Immediately, he jumped to his feet, wrapped his arms around Freya and picked her up, pressing his lips against hers. After a few moments he pulled away, just as the wall behind him collapsed under the amount of strain from the fire and ice engulfing the building. In fact, the entire room was black now from the heat, but Rory was still ignoring it all, "I'm really glad ye said yes, me gra." Rory said as he kissed her again, "If ye didn't, I probably would o' had ta kill ye." Rory said, jokingly. Even better than the fact that she said yes, was how quickly she said it, Rory had barely finished asking when she said it. It sort of made him wonder why he didn't ask sooner, but then again, if that ring hadn't of fallen out of that pocket, he probably would have never worked up the courage to ask and they'd both just be dating until the day they died... Which would really only be about a day or two at the most, but still...

Freya didn’t know where the answer had come from. There’d been no thought, nothing. She’d just said it. It wasn’t like she would have said no though. You would just think that she’d take a moment or two to actually think about it! After all, marriage meant she’d be tied to Rory for the rest of their lives! It also meant, neither of them were allowed to permanently die for a while. So, while Rory was thinking they’d both die in a couple days, Freya expected him to give her years.
The presence of the soldier almost went unnoticed by Freya, she was too busy grinning like a fool. When Rory looked though, her gaze unwillingly followed his. What she saw, almost made her laugh. Poor soldier. Here he was, just doing his job, trying to kill and/or capture Freya and Rory, and he witnessed a marriage proposal. That was probably the last thing he expected. Quite the shock, if you ask her. He still needed to die though, and thankfully Rory took care of that. Then he was back to putting the ring on.
Ever since hearing the proposal, she’d wanted to kiss him. So, when he was on his feet, his arms around her, she leaned into his kiss. Words couldn’t describe how happy she was, but he’d probably get a hint from how she was kissing him. ”Did you expect me to say no..?” She fell silent as he kissed her again, still grinning. ”You would huh? Good thing I didn’t say no then.” She almost didn’t notice the wall collapsing. Oops. His sudden proposal had shocked her to the point of somehow forgetting about their current predicament. With a sigh, she reached out mentally, first taking control of the heat because, hell, it was easier. Reigning the heat under control, she forced it down to a reasonable level so the ice was the only thing trying to crush the building.

If you had told Rory that he would end up marrying a French red head two years ago, he would have died laughing, and then killed you for even suggesting such a foolish thing. Now though, he could honestly think of nothing that would make him happier, even torturing someone was moved down to second place if that said anything. Then again, perhaps this was the absolute masochistic thing he could possibly do, tie himself to a woman who had tried to kill him (and succeeded) on a few occasions, for the rest of their lives. No wonder he proposed to her... No, as corny as it was, he was simply and truly happy.
"Honestly, I had no idea wha' ta expect alainn. Hence why I kept me shotgun loaded and on me suit." Rory said with a slight grin, not suggesting that he really would have killed her, but more suggesting that he had it there for protection... In case she tried to kill him, because as he mentioned before, she truly was unpredictable. No, he knew she'd say yes, after all, who could resist his male bravado? Well, it was more along the lines of; who else on earth could stand being around him for more than a week, much less how long she's stuck around.
Rory didn't let go of her, though he could feel the heat in the house dissipating slightly, he simply continued his idiotic grinning. Why, he hadn't grinned this much since he found out he got put on torture duty back when he worked for the agency... Suddenly, a massive spike of ice pierced through the wall behind Rory, missing Rory and Freya by inches. Casually Rory slid one hand off of Freya's waist and on to a small container on his hip. He slid out two small disc like objects from the container, and non-chalantly stuck them to the ice spike.
As soon as he stuck them on it, the spike was pulled out of the wall, revealing a hole to the outside, and that the spike was actually one of the ice lords arms. The ice lord raised his ice covered arm up to look at the small discs. The moment he raised his brow in question, the discs exploded with massive force, killing the ice lord (and the last soldier and last ice lord that was standing by him) and blew a hole in the wall behind Rory. Still, Rory kept his love struck eyes on Freya, "Mind cleanin' up the scraps?" Rory asked, referring to the last two agents alive, the two fire lords who had no back up to keep Freya from overwhelming them now.
"Fiance... Tha's French righ'?" Rory asked with a slight wink, his face was still beat red and his voice had a sort of... Innate happiness to it. There was definitely no other person alive (or dead) that had ever seen him like this. Oh dear Lord, he was.... Twitterpated... What the hell was wrong with him?! Oh yeah, he proposed to his girlfriend, that would make sense... Still, he'd have to torture someone later to get his blood thirsty tendencies back in cheque...

It felt…. Strange. Freya had never been one to wear but jewelry, earrings at all times because she didn’t want to repierce her ears, a necklace is she was feeling unusually classy, but rings? Never been her style. Never even really considered wearing any. Now though… She didn’t want to take this engagement ring off. Still. Felt strange. She’d never really worn one, and it’s take some serious getting used to. For several moments, she kept glancing back down at it, as if trying to make sure it was still there.
For as strange as it was, she felt almost… bubbly. Haha… Bubbly. Freya was using water metaphors. Willing. Not sarcastically. That was a first. ”I’m not that unpredictable.”
Once again, Freya almost didn’t notice the ice lord’s attack. It wasn’t until Rory gave it a look that she finally seemed to realize. She couldn’t help the satisfied smug that crossed her face when she felt two ice elementalists die. Finally. The annoying buggers were done. Which left her to deal with two fire lords that should be very scared right about now. ”Already done.” Because, at that moment, she’d reached out, drawn to the heat they gave off…. And completely stole it. Stole their heat, fire, whatever. Creatures of the flame, like them, they wouldn’t survive the temperature drop.
Freya raised an eyebrow. ”Fiancé?” She grinned. ”Yes. Yes is it. I thought you spoke French?” Still grinning, she leaned forward, softly kissing him. ” Mon fiancé.” She spoke just as softly. She liked the sound of that…

As strange as it was, Freya seemed just as lovestruck as Rory was. She'd had a constant grin on her face ever since he had slipped the ring on her finger. Her voice had the same happiness to it that Rory's did and she even had a skip in her step. Rory had seen her happy plenty of times, but never like this. For a moment he wondered if maybe she was still hopped up on adrenaline, "Too bad every figh' wasn't like this eh?" That was a lie, the only reason Rory liked the fight being this easy this time was because he had other things on his mind. If he wasn't getting within inches of death every second, it wasn't a fight. Now though, he didn't want to deal with agents for a bit.
Finally Rory let go of Freya, not before kissing her softly one more time. Though, he only let go of her waist, his spiked and armored hand had slid down to hold hers. Slowly he turned and stepped out of the hole the exploding ice lord had created. Now that he thought about it, he wondered if those kind people that owned that has had fire insurance... or ice insurance... or explosion insurance... Oh well, he'd just tack that one up to collateral damage.
"I just speak a lil', ye know, here and there." He said with a slight wink. As he made his way up to the jet, a thought occurred to him, making him laugh a little, "Wha's yer sister gonna say when she finds out?" He asked with a grin.
Half of the entire town had been decimated. Though with the way Rory was walking, you'd think they were frolicking through a field of flowers. Well, maybe not frolick, Rory didn't frolick... Most of it went by blindly to him though, he was still on cloud nine even as he stepped into the jet. Begrudingly he let go of Freya's hand for a moment, stepping into the cockpit and firing up the jet. "Le's go kill some agents... and maybe get some takeout bourbon chicken on the way..." Considering they were going to China, it didn't really help his extreme lust for Chinese food... In a few moments he had it programmed in for China, Hong Kong to be specific. The last base before they could start looking for Darkside.
After a few moments when the jet got back up into the air, Rory put it on auto-pilot and stepped back into the back with his new fiance. Wrapped her up in his armored arms once more, he kissed her a bit more passionately, though still softly. "Maybe this trip isn't so bad after all, eh?" He asked after pulling away for a moment, kissing her softly again, "I love ye alainn." Rory practically whispered it, the words he was always so hesitent to say. Not much else seemed fitting right now though.

Freya was a little high on the artificial adrenaline, but not enough to be that visible. It just made her emotions even more extreme than usual… But considering what had happened, I think the emotional high trumped adrenaline high. This really was Freya, way to giddy and happy.
”Only a little huh? You sounded pretty fluent earlier.” She raised an eyebrow as she followed him, not like she had a choice though, since she refused to let go of his hand and if he wanted he could easily drag her behind him. When he mentioned Tari, Freya almost stopped in her tracks, barely managing to keep walking, but her pace was definitely slower. Shit. She’d forgotten about Tari…
It was no secret that Tari HATED Rory. With a passion. Tari wanted nothing more to kill him over and over again until he didn’t come back, and the only thing that was stopping her, was Freya. Rory could, but Freya had made it very clear he wasn’t allowed hurt her sister (Who he’d just agreed to have as a sister-in-law…). Anyway, as it was, he’d been forced to endure Tari’s tormenting since the two became a couple (Actually, Tari had been fine with it until she found out Rory’s relationship was more than just kissing…). Anyway, Freya knew Tari wouldn’t be happy. At all. ”Maybe I should tell her alone… You know, for your own protection.”
Back at the jet, Freya watched Rory get them in the air from the doorway, still smiling a little. ”Maybe? No. We will.” Freya loved French food far more then Chinese, but that didn’t mean she didn’t like it. If given a choice, she’d choose Asian cuisine over most.
And then he was back. That smile turned back into a grin as she leaned into his arms, softly returning the kiss. ”Definitely not. We should do it again sometime.” It seemed the crazier their adventure, the closer the two got. After all, it’d been a robbery that initially brought them together… His saying he loved her though. That set butterflies loose in her stomach. ”I love you too.”

Marriage, the big M, the ultimate commitment, the everlasting bond, the final warzone (Rory made that last one up); it really was amazing that he was committing to it all. Well, maybe not, he had loved Freya for a very long time and she had always returned the favor even during their most viscious arguements. So really it wasn't TOO big of a surprise that Rory asked her.
No, what was a major surprise was that he was also telling her that he wanted to be a part of her family, and she a part of his. The latter wasn't much of a problem because, well, Rory had no family. The former though... That meant Tari... as a sister in-law, but still his freakin' sister!
Maybe he should have thought this through just a little better. No, as much as he disliked Tari, and as much as Tari absolutely despised him, it really didn't matter. He would be with Freya through thick and thin. Besides, considering they'd probably be dead in a day or two, it really didn't matter, "Or I could jus' use some of the Ghost's gas bombs and make her a lil' less... Lethal."
To be honest, he'd wanted to use those bombs on Tari the day after he met her. See just how tough she acted when she couldn't impale Rory at will... If only Freya would let him have a couple hours alone with Tari, all of it would be settled. After all, Rory was a master at 'persuasion'. Some people called it torture but hey, what's the real difference?
"Perhaps fer our honeymoon we can go down ta Mexico and take on the drug lords cartels? Er maybe to Africa and see if we can't break up any civil wars? I hear North Korea is nice this time o' year..." Rory said, thinking of some of the most dangerous places he could. Actually, he'd always wanted to go to North Korea and kill someone. He'd killed a person in every nation and every continent in the world (including Antarctica, now that one was fun) except for North Korea... He really wanted to complete his collection...
As they kissed a little bit more, Rory's face finally seemed to lose a bit of its' redness. Though his giddy nature was still in full effect. Being this happy and sweet actually felt... Good? Perhaps he should be kind and sweet more often!... Ha, yeah right. After a few moments, Rory pulled away from the kiss and brought Freya's left hand up between them, looking at the ring. "Looks good on ye." He said with a slight grin, kissing the top of her hand gently, "Well, ih's another two hour flight ta Hong Kong, me gra... Ye thinking wha' I'm thinking?" There was little subtlety to what Rory was suggesting...

Wait… Freya knew being engaged meant they were going to be married but that thought hadn’t stuck until just then. Marriage. She was going to marry Rory….. The future Mrs. Ashe. Hahaha… Ashe. Ash. How perfect. Freya Ashe.
”Hm…..” She stared at him for several moments. ”Maybe that’d be a better idea. But you’d be in serious danger when her powers came back.” Actually, he’d be in even more danger. Cause then, Tari would have two SERIOUS issues to be angry. ”So…. Hm…. Let’s just let me tell her alone instead. I don’t want her seeing how many different ways she can kill you.”
Freya, who was rarely one to stay calm and composed, always seemed to play ref when Rory and Tari were in the same room. For some reason they just had to go after each other. Rory, insulting Tari right and left (Because he wasn’t allowed to hurt her), and Tari trying to kill him while throwing insults back. Yup. It was odd being the ‘adult’ sometimes…
”Hmmmmm…. Tempting. Aren’t honeymoons supposed to be relaxing?” She paused for a moment, smirking a little. ”Or at least all about getting the best hotel possible and never leaving it.” Honestly, it didn’t matter where they went. As long as they got to spend the whole time together. If Rory wanted to go to a warzone, she’d have no complaints.
Her smirk softened to a smile when he raised her hand, as is showing off the ring that now graced her ring finger. ”Did you pick it our yourself, or did you ask for help?” She’d be pretty impressed if it was the first. The hint though… It made her grin again. ”Probably.”

"Now tha' ye mention ih... I'm kind o' curious wha' she could come up with." The sad part was, Rory was being completely honest. Tari was a smart girl with a wicked power, he was just the tiniest bit curious of what she would come up with to kill him because she definitely didn't seem like the "repeatedly stab him in a boring way" type.
Sort of like Freya, they killed with style; it was one of the more attractive things about Freya... "A'righ' fine, ye talk ta her alone... I'll wait outside with a shotgun just in case." Though Rory had alluded to killing Tari plenty of times, it was mostly in jest; largely because he knew that despite how much Freya and Tari fought, they were still sisters...
"Well, let's see... Relaxing would include things like sleeping, laying around, and not doing much of anythin'..." He paused for a moment, "I sure as hell hope ours isn't relaxin', because I doubt we'll be doin' much sleepin' either way... If ye know wha' I mean." He said with a slight wink. Hey, she was the one who said honeymoons were just about finding the nicest hotel, he was just agreeing. Though, it would be really, really, nice to finally get some time off with just he and Freya alone. Those moments were rare, and he truly did enjoy them.
When she mentioned the ring, Rory ran his thumb over it again, before letting her hand down and holding her close to him once more, "Eh, neither... Ye could say tha' an, heirloom of sorts. Ih's always been with me, waitin' fer the righ' hand ta be put on, but never saw a use for it until now." It was a very vague explination, but the truth behind it all was... Complex, and something he didn't really want to get into, especially now.
Once he saw that smirk though, the smirk that always did him in, he couldn't help but lean in and kiss her a little again, "Just probably?" Another kiss finished the question off, as if taunting her for more, but the kiss was still far more sweet than they had been earlier...

Freya raised an eyebrow. Of course he was curious. Rory was always curious when death was involved. He was a masochist after all! ”I’m sure you are. I’d rather not find out though.” Was it bad that she’d be more furious at Rory for letting Tari kill him then at Tari for trying to begin with? Eh, probably because he always came back. Didn’t mean she liked it when he died though. She’d only killed Rory herself a rare couple times, and most the time it’d been an accident.
”…. No shotgun.” She gave him a look that said “If you bring one, I’m melting it before I say anything to her.” While Rory wouldn’t like that idea and probably take it out on her clothes later, she didn’t care. Rory was NOT bringing a weapon near Tari. That’d just add fuel to the fire.
”Hm……” Okay, no vacation of theirs would ever be relaxing. Of course, it’d be as relaxing as possible for these two. And that usually meant just not having someone trying to kill them. Yup. Sounded relaxing to her. Who cares what their other activities were? ”I think it’d be pretty relaxing compared to this little adventure.”
His explanation was vague, but acceptable. Honestly, she didn’t want to push it. ”And here I thought you weren’t the romantic type.” He wasn’t. But the idea of him carrying around an engagement ring? Anyone would admit. That was a hopeless romantic act. And she thought it was pretty cute. To the point where she couldn’t help but lean forward and softly kiss him once again.
Freya didn’t want to have an exact repeat of what happened earlier. One because…. Honestly, they didn’t have time. Two because, after his proposal she was in a far more loving and cuddly mood then wild passion. That didn’t mean she wasn’t up for another round though… ”Just probably.” She agreed, nodding and smiling a little. His kiss didn’t have the effect on her he’d been going for. It only made her kiss him just as softly and sweetly, thankfully not with that same teasing nature as before.

Rory simply grinned at Freya, with a particularly evil grin, almost as if he was thinking about doing it anyways. Sadly, he was imagining the different things that Tari could do to kill (most of which Tari herself probably wouldn't think of). Though, he wouldn't be stupid enough to actually let her kill him or go against Freya's request, "I go' a better idea though... No shotgun, no power-nulling bombs... Jus' me, and Tari, alone in a room fer ten minutes. Whoever walks out o' the room after ten minutes, wins." There was a slight twinkle in his eyes that showed he was joking, but his face and the tone which he spoke in, was deadpan serious.
Though, Rory wouldn't even need ten minutes if he ever really wanted to hurt his soon to be sister-in-law. After all, it was people like her and Freya that he used to hunt down. Then again, he never really fought them fairly either... "Dunnit worry lass, I'll let ye go in alone first... And I won't bring a shotgun." Though, he was mum as to whether or not he would bring another weapon in the shotgun's stead; and the tone in his voice suggested that. It was for Freya's protection too after all...
"Wha'... Ye don't find fightin' agents relaxin' an savin' the world relaxin'?" Killing, torture, war, saving innocent lives, seriously... What could be more fun or relaxing? Ok, in Rory's world it was a vacation from what he liked to call reality (meaning the boring parts in between fights), but he knew that even Freya wasn't completely corrupted by him to enjoy it that much. The only thing that made the 'boring spots in between fights' liveable was the woman before him. Hell, dare he say it? Being with her was actually better than killing sometimes...
What she said next though, made Rory's face turn to shock, "Not the romant... Wha'?! Why do ye say tha'? Don't I kill people for ye all the time, and I even brought ye flowers once!" Sure, Rory knew what she meant by "romantic", but he honestly didn't like being called that, "Besides, I wouldn't call me self 'romantic'... I'm more o' a... Freya enthusiast." He said with a slight wink, leaning in to kiss her softly again.
To be brutally blunt, Rory himself didn't want a repeat of earlier, at least not yet anyways. Due to his powers, very very few things wore him out, that had been one of them. Considering they would be in Hong Kong in two or three hours, he really didn't want to be tired and sore when he got there. Like Freya, that didn't mean he wasn't up for another round though; just this time he himself wanted it to be... Slower, for more reasons than one, "How abou' we turn tha' probably..." He said, slowly leaning in to kiss her softly back, Inta a definitely?" As he spoke, he pulled her tighter against his armored body, leaning in to kiss her again; though this time he showed absolutely no intention of pulling away.

Rory had better be joking. While she wouldn’t object to that plan MOST the time, this was her sister he was talking about! Her TWIN sister! ”No way in hell.” It was sometimes hard to tell when he was serious or not. Because, while he had a playful, joking twinkle in his eyes, everything else said he was serious. Finally though, she sighed. Telling Tari wouldn’t be easy, but as long as Rory didn’t make it worse…. They’d both live through it. Pull one of his stunts though and it was off with his head. ”Good.” She didn’t care that he’d hinted at bringing other weapons…
Crinkling her nose at his next comment, she scoffed. ”Not the kind of relaxing I was thinking of.” Like stated before, Freya would let the world go to hell if Rory was around. She’d rather just spend time with him. Rory though, while psychotic, seemed to be more of a hero then her, and would rush out to meet any threat. Freya, by default, would then be forced to come along because she hated to be separated from him.
Rory wasn’t a ‘romantic’, but he could act like it sometimes. Okay…. That was a little confusing…. How to put it…. Before she said anything though, he seemed to figure out a way to explain it. Chuckling, she kissed him back. ”That works.”
It seemed they were on the same page. While he didn’t say anything, she knew from the way he kissed her. She didn’t say anything for several moments, just leaned against him, softly kissing him back. Finally though, she leaned back just enough. ”You’d have to take off the suit first, silly.”

As strange as it may have seemed, Rory actually that telling Tari wouldn't be as bad as both of them assumed. Sure, she'd probably freak out, but then what sister wouldn't? It always seemed like one of the reasons Tari never liked Rory was because she didn't know what his intentions were with her sister. After all, he was a dangerous man dating the person she loved. Now though, there was an engagment ring on Freya's hand.
Rory was guessing it wouldn't be too bad because no for the first time... Rory's intentions would be absolutely clear, he was not going to hurt Freya, he cared for her, and loved her. Funny how such a little ring could say so much. Then again, all it wasn't that surprising. After all, a single bullet could start an entire war... But that was besides the point...
"Fine, after this is o'er, if we're still alive... I promise I'll take ye on a nice relaxin' vacation, and/or honeymoon when tha' comes around. Better yet, I'll take ye ta a place where we'll probably only ge' in one er two fights the whole time." Now that was definitely better than any vacation they had ever 'tried' to take. Though, truth be told, Rory wasn't that much of a hero, at least not as much as he seemed.
Yes, he saved people, yes he was fighting for the lives of the entire world right now; but that was just the thing... he was fighting. He simply couldn't resist a good war, he generally fought on the good side but that was only because the "good guys" were always the underdogs (meaning he got to kill more people than if he fought for the bad guys). It was a twisted logic, but that was how Rory worked.
When she kissed him back, better yet, the way she kissed him back told him that they really were thinking the same thing. Rory seemed a little annoyed when she pulled away, but smirked a little when she spoke, "I don't know, me gra..." Rory said, as he leaned in and kissed her again, pulling away in between kisses to speak, "I'm better... at everythin'... when ih's on..." He practically whispered the words in between kisses, teasing a little as he pulled her tighter against him; putting a bit more passion into the kiss, but it was still just as sweet.
