Rory’s response made her twitch. Literally twitch. The brat…. She’d only meant today! ”Yeah, well at least I’d have one. Short or not…” Freya was crazy, yeah. But Rory was worse. Ten times worse. He was the reason she was so corrupt now, after all! There wouldn’t be any for him if they were only sharing ‘sane’ moments.
Freya didn’t want to repeat herself so much. It was entirely the suits fault! It was almost like she’d been caught up in a recorder, and couldn’t break free. She’d only managed to silence herself when they were in the bathroom. It probably helped that he’d kissed her so suddenly as well. Sadly, the woman had been mostly unaware of what shape the suit had taken since first putting it on, and, as expected, she didn’t seem to realize there were edges sharp enough to hurt Rory.
It wasn’t until she’d pulled away and glanced down at his torso that she spotted the fresh wounds. Curiosity crossed her face, before she finally looked down at herself. Oh… That’s where they’d co- WAIT A MINUTE! ”……..” She was silent for several moments, which was odd considering the massive amount of energy she had. ”The suit has a twisted sense of humor….” She didn’t actually mind how revealing it was, it was more along the lines of “Oh come on! Rory’s version is so much cooler!”. Freya had been so focused on it, that she didn’t even notice the intruder until the door had shut.
”What..?” She looked at him, trying to figure out what he meant. He couldn’t take it off? Well how the hell was she supposed to get out of it then?! Thankfully he explained. And as he did…Freya had another bad feeling. ”…..” So, basically, if she wasn’t calm, it’d ignore her request to come off? But at the same time IT was the one making her ridiculously hyper, and incapable of being calm. Yup. Definitely a twisted sense of humor. Still, she tried, repeating the word ‘off’ over and over again in her mind. Well over a hundred times, and it refused to budge. ”Your suit is ignoring me.”

When Freya retorted back, Rory had his mouth half open when something really struck him. If... When he died, there likely would be no eulogy. Now he knew that wasn't what Freya meant at all, but the thought stuck in his mind. Interestingly enough though, Rory wasn't upset about that. Knowing that when he died, it would most likely be alone (as Freya would probably go before him) and no one would even care. He wouldn't even be a name in an obituary... Sadly, the only thought that crossed his mind was, I'm like a damn ninja even in death!. Needless to say, Rory didn't really care...
As soon as Rory quit kissing Freya and took a step back, he noticed her looking down his cut up torso, then finally at her own suit. Her expression was beyond amusing to Rory, she really was acting like a child these last few minutes. You'd think she'd never seen her own cleavage before, as she couldn't seem to take her eyes off of it... Then again, Rory couldn't blame her, he could barely take his eyes off it either to be honest, "Apparenly you have a wicked sense of humor, lass... The suit changes itself ta match the wearer remember?" Which, it all made perfect sense why it cut him up now. The suit was exactly like Freya, flambouyant, attractive, but if you touched it it'd kill you. No wonder he was so attracted to her right now.
Rory calmly waited as Freya stood there, thinking about what he said. You could practically see the wheels turning in her head, and even though she wasn't speaking, Rory knew exactly what she was doing. She was probably mentally speaking, asking the suit to retract somehow. After several minutes, when she finally spoke, Rory couldn't help but chuckle just a little bit, "Alainn, the suit isn't a person. Ih won't answer yer questions... Dunnit ask the suit ta come off, tell it ta come off. Ye have ta really be focused on wanting ih off..." Yep, there was absolutely no way in hell Freya was going to get that suit off. Perhaps letting her put the suit on was a far worse idea than he thought.
After a few moments, an idea occurred to him. It was a tactic that had worked for Freya twice before, to get her to do something, this time with some minor variations... "Yer mind has ta be focused on wantin' ta ge' the suit off... and absolutely nothin else..." Rory said as he slowly took a step closer to her, so that they were almost touching once again, "Gettin' ih off has ta be the only..." Rory paused, leaning forward and kissing her passionately, "Thought... On... Yer brain..." If she was as hyper as he seemed, and her being hyper was like her being furious. Then that meant he could redirect all that energy into wanting one thing only... And Freya thought Rory was easy to manipulate...

It was wise of Rory not to mention him likely not having a eulogy. While it was likely neither of them would survive this adventure, you shouldn’t tell Freya this. She was under the delusion that they’d survive the experience. Not to mention… Freya really didn’t want to die.
Freya looked up to glare at him. While he was enjoying her teasing suit, she, was not. It was strange how the suit irritated her. She was rarely frustrated by revealing outfits, but when she was expecting the suit to be a bit more… original… Well, could you blame her? Besides, it was a suit! How could it , you know, protect her, if it had her whole stomach and most of her chest bare? It was like saying ‘Welcome! I may be wearing an indestructible suit, but just aim for my chest!’ Yeah. Smart. ”Well, I didn’t tell it to do this.” Even if Rory loved it, she’d rather have something a bit more…. Intimidating.
Freya scowled. Not only was the suit ignoring her, but Rory seemed to think it was hilarious. He wasn’t be helpful either. She hadn’t been asking it to come off! Freya didn’t ask people anything. She ordered. And the suit, was blatantly ignoring said order. ”I’m not asking i-“ She shut up when he stepped closer, knowing instantly what he was up to. Now was not the time for that! No,no! Bad Rory! Obviously she failed to realize why he was doing it though. It was probably her hyperness that was speaking, because usually she wouldn’t refuse.
When their lips met though, all resistance vanished. Dammit… That crazy energy of hers was thrown into their kissing. There was a soft hissing as the suit released her. Finally.

Death was something that was always present with Rory, as he always said; if he wasn't causing it, he was experiencing it. However, in all of his many, many years alive, rarely had he ever considered permanent death. Though, honestly, he wasn't afraid to die in the least. He'd been everywhere, he'd done it all, he'd seen it all, his life was full of rich memories so death was not something he feared like an enemy. What scared him was the death of others, particularly Freya... Odd, he wasn't afraid to die, but didn't want to simply because of her...
Anyways, now wasn't the time to ponder such depressing thoughts. Right now he needed to focus on satisfying he and Freya's urg... er... Getting the suit off. Yeah, that was his goal, right, getting the suit off. He had to keep reminding himself that. That was even harder to remember when Freya threw all of her energy into that kiss. Almost immediately it awakened that animal inside of Rory once again. Now Freya being more energetic and passionate than she's ever been, on top of Rory trying to fight the beast inside of him... Yeah, this was harder than he thought it'd be. Damn, why did he have to be so attracted to her?!
As the suit hissed slightly, obviously retracting to let Freya out, it only seemed to get Rory more excited partially because she was loose now, partially because he knew what the suit letting her go meant... Rory pushed back on both the suit and her, pressing himself against them both as he returned the kiss with even more vigor than before. After several very long (and intensely passioante) moments, Rory suddenly pulled away and let his hands slide off her body finally.
Though, he was still only inches from her as she spoke, seemingly unable to pull himself away fully, "Yer... So easy... Ta manipulate..." Rory said through incredibly ragged breaths. It was blatantly apparent just how close to the surface that "animal" was. In fact, if you looked closely, you could see his hands were shaking slightly, wanting nothing more than to wrap themselves back around Freya's now bare form. If nothing else ever showed how much control Rory had, this moment was it. Not another man on the planet would be able to pull himself away from a situation like this, but Rory had (though he was still very close but... who's counting?).
Even his eyes seemed to show how much more he wanted from Freya, and how much excitement he was holding back, "Better... take yer... shower." Rory said, forcing himself to talk and not simply kiss Freya again. To an extent, it almost seemed as if Rory was... Happy with himself? Yes, it was almost as if he was proud that he was able to stop himself and control his emotions... His voice almost hinting that he had beat Freya at her own game of seduction and controlled himself in the process... Yes, everything was a competition for Rory, and right now, he was winning and Freya was losing at her own game of seducing each other. Rory was now the self proclaimed king of this little game, or so he thought...

Rory thought he’d won, huh?
He’d pulled away after several moments of passionately, putting her in an absolutely terrible mood. After dealing with a ridiculous energy rush, he just completely shot her down. That seriously pissed her off, destroying whatever desire she’d had for him at that moment. And her expression said it. While he was fighting the urge to take advantage of her, she was fighting the urge to hit him. Poor Rory. He only made it worse by mentioning her being easy to manipulate.
”Not as easy as you.” Oh yeah. She was mad. He’d made a really stupid move there. And she obviously had no remorse for Rory who wanted her more than air. Too bad, so sad. He’d lost his only chance. And now he had an irked redhead on his hands. And it wasn’t exactly a secret that gingers were demons…
”Fine, fine. Out.” Carefully, she slipped out from between him and the wall, opened the door(even more careful not to give anyone that might be outside a peak show), and…. Actually pushed Rory out. He’d probably be shocked, since she’d never thrown him out of a room before. Especially a bathroom. ”And stay out until I let you back in.” Oh, she meant it to. Poor Rory. Shutting the door behind him…. And locking it, she finally hopped in the shower.
Ten minutes later, when she was dressed in the clothes they’d been brought, she opened the door and gave Rory a sour look.

It was taking absolutely every single fiber of Rory's being to stop from just pouncing on Freya where she stood. The fact that he wasn't by itself seemed like he should get some sort of achievement or medal for it. The feeling got only stronger as he saw the expression on Freya's face when he pulled away, she didn't want him to quit... Damn, why did he have to have so much control? That was it, screw self control, screw winning, she wanted him just as bad as he wanted her; well he'd give her what she wanted... He could win another day.
Just as he moved forward though, she immediately rushed by him and opened the door. Then one second he was standing there, and the next he was in the hall. Honestly he couldn't remember how he even got out there, had she teleported him or something? All he knew now was that he was standing in front of a closed door, half naked, with an insane amount of desire and nothing to use it on. Slowly, very slowly, he was able to calm himself down enough to finally speak.
"HA! I win!" Were the first words he said, yes, if she wanted to be a brat to him, then he was going to be just as mean back. From this point on, he would rub it in her face how he could resist her, but she couldn't resist him! He won, she lost, oh yeah!... Childish? Absolutely. Then again, that was Rory when it came to competitiveness. Not many people could be more masculine and mature, or more childish, than he could...
Patiently he waited outside of the door, sitting down in the hallway alone. None of the family that lived in the house had come back, though he could hear them talking and moving about the house, so he wasn't worried. Though what he did find strange was that none of them were talking about he and Freya, it was almost as if they didn't mind they were in the house. Suddenly the door opened, Rory glanced up from the ground to see a particularly bad expression on Freya's face; which only caused him to smile.
Without saying a word, Rory simply stood up and walked into the bathroom behind her, stopping to kiss her on the cheek on his way in, "Hope ye had a pleasant shower, by yerself... I know I will." Yes, already he was rubbing it in. Without another word, he pushed her out of the doorway and shut the door behind him. Less the four or five minutes after he closed the door, gunshots could be heard outside in the distance, along with faint screams like some sort of storm was coming from the distance...

As much as Freya loved Rory, sometimes, like now, she really, REALLY didn’t like him. She just wanted to throw something at him. What was worse? He seemed to enjoy her sudden hatred for him. He even returned the favor by pushing her out the door. ”Yeah, I did. Thanks for asking.” She gave him a dark smirk, leaning against the wall as she waited.
Freya didn’t like being mad at Rory. Ever. It never ended well, and he always made it impossible to stay mad. He was so infuriating sometimes. But loveable. She couldn’t stay mad at him for long. All he had to do was flash that smile and wink and she melted. Damn Rory….
Suddenly, she heard something…. Something that sounded way to similar to gunfire… and screams. Even in the complete silence of the hallway, it was hard to catch. Sadly, the woman didn’t seem to realize that it would probably be impossible for Rory to hear over the shower…
Not stopping to warn Rory, or even see how long he’d be, she bolted down the hallway, stopping only when she saw the daughter who was probably only a few years younger than her. ”Get your family and hide. Do NOT go outside.” She didn’t wait to see if the girl understood, running again, outside the house and towards town, following the sounds of gunshots and screams…

To be honest, Rory had ignored the look from Freya, and the snarky comment. He knew exactly how much he was making Freya mad, and honestly, he didn't care right now. Like he had said before, if she wanted to play the game of "being a brat" Rory could play that one all too well. He would stop once she apologized, again. Hopefully it wouldn't end in crying this time, because that was just unfair the last time...
Once in the shower, the outside world seemed to disappear. For a few peaceful moments, Rory had no one to talk to, no one to bother him, and nothing to worry about. So, he began to do like he always did, he started singing, loudly... in Gaelic. The Irish verse echoed around the small bathroom, completely draining any sound from outside. Now, Rory was a good at a lot of things, and things that he was good at, he was amazing at. Killing, for instance, Rory was amazing at that. Fighting, war, assassinations, (making love to Freya), these were all things he was really good at. Unfortunately, when it came to singing, the same couldn't be said. Sure, he didn't have that bad of a voice, but he definitely was no Frank Sinatra.
That didn't matter though, he continued to sing away, oblivious to what was going on outside. After about ten, maybe fifteen, minutes he stepped out of the shower. Quickly, he dried off and slipped on the clothes that the young girl had brought. They were a simple pair of blue jeans, and an old shirt that said "A-Team" and had a picture of Mr.T on it. Apparently they didn't buy clothes out here that much...
When he was finally done and opened the door, he instantly knew something was wrong. The house was absolutely silent, no more movements or chatting could be heard, and Rory could hear screams from outside the village. What was worse was that Freya was gone... She had to have heard them too. Which no doubt meant that Freya was about to get herself in danger, surely she realized now not to run off alone? Without a second of hesitation, Rory tore off through the house, looking for his love. What he didn't think about, was that the exoskeleton of his suit was still sitting in the bathroom...
Over the hill just outside of the village, agents were calmly walking along, burning everything to the ground; bushes, trees, houses, people. Anything in their path was either being gunned down, frozen, or burned. A small platoon of agency soldiers was being backed up by three fire elementalists, and three ice elementalists. All of them were getting closer and closer to the town, and in turn, closer and closer to the jet Freya and Rory had come in on.
As Rory ran along, he could see a flash of red hair just in front of him, as well as the agents who had thankfully not seen Freya, Rory, or the jet. "Freya! Freya, stop!" Rory called out loudly, trying to get her attention before she did something the only Freya would do...

Freya had heard him singing, vaguely, while hanging out outside the bathroom. He wasn’t the best singer, but for some reason, she just loved to hear him sing. It made her happy. And, when she was seriously annoyed with him, it did exactly that. Made her happy. Smart move on Rory’s part. Unknowingly he was helping her mood.
Anyway, she was trying to find the source of screams….. And she found it. It seemed the Agency had just reached this out of the way town… Or seen the Jet and come to investigate. She honestly didn’t know which. But considering they were ransacking the whole world, she was betting on the first. And they were totally destroying everything in their path…. Bye bye good mood. Hello rage.
Rory’s warning came moments to late…. Because before he came running out and yelling for her to stop whatever mad scheme she was up to…. Freya had already hurled a ridiculously huge and hot fireball at the ice elementalists, and completely overwhelmed the fire elementalists powers, to the point where everything they did, attempts to burn a house, a person, wouldn’t touch the target, instead turn towards their icey cousins to try and engulf them. Could you blame her? They were, quite literally, adding fuel to the fire. Giving Freya more to play with. It was right around that moment she heard Rory’s yell to stop. Oops….

The Agency was doing exactly what Freya had assumed, ransacking the world. Though, in this particular instance, they were doing a little of both. They had been tracking the jet, before Rory disabled the tracking, and since this was the last spot they had it on radar, they sent a small patrol to check it out. The patrol consisted of about three regular soldiers, and then three of each fire and ice elementalists. The ice elementalists looked almost exactly like the ones in Ireland, with massive spikes of ice sticking out of their skin and bleeding profusely. The fire elementalists however were almost horrific in appearance, their skin was blackened and covered with large boils as if they had been burned severely. Most of their facial features were burned off and their mouths were melted shut, making them look like walking, undead, burn victims.
As they began to burn everything around them, the fire was suddenly ripped out of their hands and turned toward their allies at the same time that a massive ball of fire was headed toward them. The fire elementalists 'grabbed' the ball of fire and drove it into the ground long before it reached their cousins, while the ice elementalists practically snapped their fingers and caused all the redirected fire to dissipate. Almost instantly it became apparent that while ice elementalists alone were dangerous, ice and fire working together was going to be... tricky.
Immediately groups of elementalists began calmly walking toward Freya as the soldiers opened fire, "DAMN IH ALL FREYA!" An Irish accent echoed across the small town. In seconds Rory was by her side as fire erupted on all sides of them, and the air temperature dropped to frigidly cold in seconds. "Ye NEVER EVER figh' two seperate elementalists at the same time!" Rory said, grabbing her hand and dragging her back down the street before she could do anything else... Freya-like. Good to see the warhead was still in action...
Rory ran down the road of the small village and ducked into an alley, pulling Freya with him. Breathing heavily, and seeming very out of place with his "Mr.T" shirt, he pressed Freya against the wall and leaned against it himself to hide them both in the shadows, "Ye cannit fight them when they are together, Freya. Ye can control fire, aye, bu' so can they... And there's more o' them than ye." Rory paused for a moment, trying to think of how to explain it, "The Ice Lords weaknesses are fire, obviously, the Fire Lords weaknesses are ice... When they are together, they act like a... like... A thermostat in a way, they can go hot and cold, they no longer have any weakness because they control each others weaknesses; especially this many o' them. The only way ye can kill them is ta seperate them."
Slowly Rory let go of Freya, "The only way ye can beat them is ta go omega... " As he spoke, he walked to the edge of the alley and carefully peaked around the corner, "And yer not a level five mutant anymore." Rory finally said it, explaining what he thought was "odd" when he was wearing his suit only a little bit ago. This fight was definitely going to be an intense one, it was a good thing he had his... His suit! It was then that he finally realized he had forgot it... Great, this was going to be one hell of a party now...

Freya didn’t plan. Ever. She saw a target, threw a giant fireball at them, expected them to go up in smokes, and be done with it. It was a solid strategy! It was her strategy! She’d used it her whole life, and it’d done a bang up job getting her this far. No need to change it now. Or…. You know, maybe she should. It’d just take a lot of damn work to... Because you were basically asking a woman who was way to trigger happy to change a part of her.
She didn’t expect the fire elementalists to put up a fight. While they were weaker than her, it seemed their ice cousins picked up where they were lacking. Kind of like what happened when Freya and Tari were willing to join forces…. Freya did not like. At all. That was an Elensar sister’s thing. Not theirs. They weren’t allowed to join forces.
She also didn’t expect to suddenly be grabbed from behind by Rory, who was yelling something about never fighting different elementalists at the same time. Yeah, she kind of figured that out. ”Okay, I got it. Alone, good. Together, bad.” She sounded annoyed as she was pressed against the wall, as if Rory expected one to be on their trail already.
Not moving when she was released, she listened in eerie silence when he mentioned her not being an omega anymore. He was stating something she already knew… But didn’t want to believe. Like… a feeling in the back of her mind. Looking away from him, she spoke. ”I know…” She slid to the ground, obviously sulking. ”I don’t know why… I can still feel it, but every time I try to reach for it…. It’s like I hit a wall…. Like something’s holding me back.” Why…. Why couldn’t she go full power? This was worse than being a level four mutants. At least then you couldn’t feel that power. She could. But it was locked away. ”Dammit… What’s wrong with me..?”

The reason that Rory had been so surprised about Freya manipulating him back in the jet was for the simple reason that it took a little planning to accomplish all of that. As sad as it was, he would be flat out shocked if Freya ever went into combat and didn't just attack blindly, head first, and try to burn everything. It was her style, and as much as he probably wouldn't admit it, it was one of the things he loved about her. She was bold, and wasn't afraid of getting in over her head like most people. The few times that her lack of strategic abilities made him angry were few and far between. He truly hoped she wouldn't change.
As he carefully peeked around the corner of the alley, he saw the small squad of agents slowly getting closer, burning everything around them again. It looked as though they had lost Freya and Rory and were taking the tactic of "burn it all, burn it again, and see if any bodies come up". Freya should be proud of them... He heard her voice behind him, and the extreme sadness behind the voice. When he turned back in the alley he saw her sitting on the ground. He let out a sigh and walked over to her, kneeling down in front of her, and resting his hands comfortingly on her knees.
"I've seen this kind o' thing happen before alainn. Sometimes ye mutants with physical powers put up... Mental blocks, no' lettin' yerself have full power. I dunnit know why ih happened, but I'll help ye get through ih a'righ'?" He leaned forward and kissed her softly on the forehead, "Now ge' up... Now's not the time ta sulk. Ih's killin' time." Rory said the last part with a little bit too much enthusiasm.
As he stood up, he grabbed her hands and gently pulled her to her feet too, and into an embrace. Holding her close for a few moments, he pulled away, "We have ta ge' ta me suit... I uh... Kinda... Left ih in the bathroom..." Rory said a bit awkwardly, not exactly wanting to admit that he left one of the most advanced pieces of technology around, sitting in a bathroom, "Stay close behind me and... Feel free ta distract them, lightning only if ye still can do ih. I think they'd have a harder time controlling tha'." Yes, Rory knew most of Freya's tricks, or at least her favorite ones.
With another soft, short, and loving kiss, he let go of Freya and slid the pistol out of the back of the pants. Carefully he peeked around the corner of the alley again, the squad was MUCH closer... Perfect. Rory stepped out of the alley, raised his pistol, and fired two shots before taking off running back toward the house that he and Freya had been in. Though the two shots seemed miniscule, both found their targets. One slammed into the head of a soldier, killing him instantly, the other hit went directly through the eye of a Fire Lord; killing him before they could react to melt it... That should give Freya a little wiggle room with her power...

Stupid mood swings…. They were getting worse. Normally she wouldn’t have been this heartbroken about unknowingly creating a mental block. Sure, she’d be upset and angry, but she wouldn’t have resorted to sulking. Thank god she’d rarely gone full power to begin with, so it didn’t change her strategy all that much. But really?! Where were these mood swings coming from? Oh wait… It was probably that adrenaline rush she’d had. Worse than a sugar high…
”Why the hell would my power decide to freak out NOW of all times?!” Great timing, power. GREAT timing. Totally screwing with her. She’d already tried to go omega once, and failed. And, what made it worse... She was pretty sure she’d need that extra boost in power…. She didn’t want to stand up though, instead opting to continue sulking until he dragged her to her feet.
”….. You left the suit…?” Freya’s expression was unreadable. Half of her was glad. That suit was evil. It’d made her absolutely insane. At the same time, Rory needed it…. Curse the suit’s usefulness. ”Well… Hopefully we can get back to it before them.” It would be really bad if the agency found the suit before Rory and Freya.
”What do you mean if I can do it?” She shot him a glare. She spent most of her time in between a four and five. What was happening was that cap was on her, a full class five, was out of reach. Her regular power levels…. Totally fine.
And there he went. Jerk. Sighing, Freya took off after him. It probably didn’t help that he was faster than her, thank god she wasn’t as slow as she was in the past. It helped that went they tried to give chase a few bolts of lightning kept them a safe distance away.

As Rory thought about it, the way that Freya had been acting was a little strange. Not her mood swings, per se, but how drastic they were getting. Ever since Rory had started dating Freya had been known for her ability to drastically change her personality within days. One minute she would be tearing Rory's clothes off, the next she'd be trying to tear his head off, the next she'd be cuddling with him. It was one of the things that Rory actually liked about her, it made her completely unpredictable, he never knew what he'd wake up to in the morning or what his day would be like. T
he last couple of days though, it had gotten worse, never before had her mood changed in seconds or been this severe in it's change. Not to mention that strange mental block she had put on herself. Perhaps she was just stressed, maybe she and Rory could both go to Cancun after this... Assuming they didn't die of course. Hell, either way it looks like they'd be getting a break!
"I didn't leave the suit... I uh... Left ih fer... Strategic purposes, jus' trus' me." Yes, it was a blatant lie, but he didn't want to have to say the words "No sweetheart, I left the suit in the bathroom because I was busy running out to save your ass." He thought it... He just didn't say it. Rory was ignorant sometimes, never stupid.
"I jus' meant if ye felt like ih, tha' was all." Again, Rory was covering for what he was really thinking, and trying to make her feel a little better about her powers diminishing. When the lightning bolts hit the ground, breaking the earth under the agents feet knocking a few soldiers to the ground. One of the bolts shattered the dirt road they were walking down, and sent rocks and dirt spraying everywhere, including in the eyes of one of the fire lords, staggering him backward and taking him out of the game for a few minutes.
When they were only feet from the door, Rory felt the air suddenly get frigidly cold once more. Immediately he stopped, stopping so hard that he actually slid across the road just as a blast of ice sprayed only inches in front of his feet. Massive ice spikes rose out of the ground from the blast. Without even thinking, Rory snapped one of the spikes off the ground and flung it with viscious accuracy at the head of the nearest ice lord. Just as the tip of the spike was about to pierce the man's eye, it stopped mid-air, hovering in place. Then, BANG!, a bullet shattered the hovering spike and went into the eye of the agent. Oh how Rory loved a good distraction...
He took a few more steps forward and stopped at the edge of the doorway, "Ge' inside alainn! Ge' ta the suit, I'll meet ye back there." Rory shouted, firing his pisol at the soldiers and elementalists, scattering them a bit. As he waited for Freya to get inside, a realization hit him. Alone, the 'warhead' and the 'precision instrument of death' were dangerous, but working together, they became incredibly lethal. If Freya was distracting them, Rory would kill them, if he distracted them, she fried them. Quite the strategy... It would work even better if the warhead wasn't being a drama queen. Weapons of mass destruction that had emotional issues were so troublesome...

Honestly, Freya had no idea where these mood swings were coming from. Why they were so severe, why they were so extreme…. She was used to having some wild mood swings but this…. Even Freya was getting a headache, unable to keep up. What made it worse? The more time passed, the crazier these mood swings got. Really… Really crazy.
”Strategic purposes…. Like what?” What really sucked? That energy boost was making said mood swings worse, because…. Honestly, her emotions didn’t know what to do with it all. And, usually when Freya needed something to burn energy on, it meant she became a bitch. Poor Rory, having to have all that energy directed at him in a way he didn’t like. And he didn’t have the chance to redirect said energy. ”If I feel like it… huh?” She shot him a dangerous look.
Dammit, this was all that suit’s fault. It had to be the only explanation for her mean temperament.
Freya was a hair slower then Rory, but she felt the drop first. She considered melting them, but, quickly decided against it because… They weren’t actually in the pair’s way. And while she would love to melt it all, just to get rid of some of this energy, she knew she’d probably need it, considering she couldn’t go full Omega.. ”…. Fine.” While Freya was better at distractions then Rory, she didn’t argue, bolting inside and down the hall to where the bathroom was.
