Rylee had just arrived from France. Her hair straight down, hitting a little past her shoulders, she wore a short sleeve shirt that had the french word for ice on it, the wording looking like they were melting ice, and behind the word was fire with skinny jeans. Over the jeans were a pair of knee high black and white converse. She was starting the Xavier's institute part way through the year. This was never easy. She was let in and once in she headed straight for her dorm. No one was in, they were probably doing their own thing. Her biggest concern was friends. Everyone had alrady made them, and now she was the new girl. She wasn't too comfortable about this, but she welcomed the experience.
After putting most of her things away Rylee made her way down to the living room. She had a packet with all the school rules and school activities, everything a new student would need to, or want to now. She sat on the right side of a love seat, leaning between the back of the couch and the arm of it. With legs crossed she looked through the little booklet she looked like she was in charge, an air about her that would seem fairly familiar to almost any mutant that lived on this property.

Alucard was doing what he now had made a habit out of doing lately, he was reading a book while sitting on the ceiling. It was a form of control training for him to do this using his powers, but he had gotten use to it enough by now that it was second nature to just jump on the ceiling and walk and sit up here instead of on the floor with everyone else. He liked the extra room, when the ceiling was high enough, and people hardly thought to look up in a building. He just sat with his legs crossed on the ceiling as he read a book written in French, when he heard someone walk into the room. He looked down to see who it was and noticed a girl he hadn't seen before walk in. She sat down on the couch with her legs crossed and had pulled out a school booklet. She must have been a new student from what he could tell.
Alucard went back to reading his book after watching her for a moment, when his book slipped from his hand and landed on the couch next to the girl with its covers open revealing what was written inside. This happened more often then you would think with him up here. Gravity had a tendency of winning in his ongoing battle for control of reading from the ceiling. He debated if he should drop down and pick it up or just let her look at it and get it back later. He sat there thinking on it a moment before he finally made up his mind. He dropped back to the floor, flipping himself back upright on the way down so as not to hit his head, and landed more softly then you would think in front of the couch. He looked at the girl.
" I am sorry about that. I dropped it while I was reading. I do hope it did not disrupt you." Alucard said to the girl.

Rylee was minding her own business, reading the rules. Some made her think of her relatives while others made her giggle. Some made her think. But she did wonder if she could find Freya or Tari. Well of chores she could. All she had to do was freeze something large. Then one of the two might come to see what was up.
Then suddenly she herd, and felt something hit the couch. Looking down as if to threaten the thing that disturbed her train of thought she saw a book. Picking it up she noticed that the book was written in French. She scanned the page then looked up just in time to see a boy falling from the sealing. This serenity was an odd school, with odd people in it. She watched the boy, not surprised one bit to see him. He seemed quite nice though.
"It is fine. I was only reading some of the rules and requirements of this school." Rylee's thick french accent rung through the strange air. Not wanting to make any awkward silences she decided to ask a question. "So you know french? Or are you just learning?" She took a moment to study the boy, as she waited for the response. He seemed alright. But yet he seemed a lot like how she pictured kids in this school. Using their powers to "train" and making mistakes. Not that mistakes were bad, it was a way to learn. It just seemed strange, and American. She was still wondering how she would like this new school.

Alucard listened to the girl speak to him in a voice that was thick with a French accent. She asked him a question about how well he knew French. He was more familiar with it then one would think he would be, although he was also more familiar with a few other languages other then French. He looked at her for a moment before he answered.
" I know it better then one would think, my little dove." Alucard said to her in french. " We may speak in it if it would make you feel better."
Alucard didn't normally speak to people he didn't know, but she seemed nice and polite so he figured he might as well talk to her. He also began to look at her more closely now that he was on the floor again and this close to her. She looked familiar for some reason. He wondered about it for a moment before the answer hit him.
" Little dove, would you by chance have a relative at this school? A sister or female cousin? I meet a woman not that long ago who looks similar to you and spoke with a heavy french accent like you." Alucard asked her. " I can not say I got her name, or spoke with her much, but I do remember what she looked like and the air around her. You share many of the same traits that she had."

"I have no expectations for you except for the thing's that I have learned." She spoke to him in french. She over looked the "dove" business for now, but she wasn't exactly sure why he was calling her that. Was he trying to flirt? French was said to be the language of love. But it was just her native language. It came a lot more natural to her.
She noticed that he was observing her as much as she was looking over him. And then he said that word again. It seemed odd that a boy that she just met was calling her "dove" like a pet name. "Possibly, I did just arrive here. You're one of the first people I've seen. Maybe this will answer your question." As she said that a medium sized fire ball appeared to the right of her. Instantly the room dropped five degrees. as the fire ball moved towards her she lightly held it in her hand, frost growing over it. The flame then disappeared, leaving small icicles on her hand.
She figured that as long as he showed her his power she might as well show him a little of her power. She then looked up at the boy to see his reaction. Generally when some one thought of a pyromancer, they thought of heat, but he's was odd. The fire was cold.

Alucard listened to the girl reply back in french and then she showed him what she could do. A ball of fire appeared in the room, but instead of heating it up slightly, it dropped the room temperature. Alucard actually smiled slightly as he noticed that. She could control heat, but instead of directing it out from her flames, she was making the fire by bringing the heat to one spot. It was a neat ability that would most likely freak some people out, but he was also use to strange powers that didn't do what you expected them to. He watched her bring the flame to her hand and form icicles as it disappeared. He manipulated the blood that he was using from the cuts he had made on his legs to come up and wrap around the icicles on her hand and pull them off. He dropped the icicles into his own open hand and had the blood go back to how he had it before.
" Interesting power. You do the opposite of what a normal pyromancer does with their flames. I like it truthfully. I would ask if you like mine as well, but I manipulate my own blood." Alucard said to her in french.

Rylee watched as the stranger controled blood to take the ice from her hand and took it back to his hand. That was interesting. But yet, this had to be the oddest conversations that she has ever had. She had better conversations with old men in line for coffee in France. First of all, he didn't even introduce himself.
"Thank you, but I'm sure that it's different from what you think." She still looked at him with a fairly, slight impressed look. She then started to get a better look at the room. This conversation was starting to get quiet. But she didn't know what to say, but she felt bad about staying quiet. She didn't want to seem like she was weirded out with his power, which she wasn't.
"So how long have you been at this school?" That was a stupid question, but that was the best that she could think of. It probably wouldn't lead to much conversation. She looked down at the book, it was now fairly cold to the touch. Oops, she had moved the flame to close to the book. Oh well, she had gotten what she needed from this thing.

Alucard listened to her reply and then it got quiet for a bit. He didn't mind it and it didn't change anything for him, but she didn't seem to like it since she asked him a question before the silence could hey awkward.
" I haven't been at this school for very long. I do like it here though." Alucard said to her in French.
Alucard wasn't planning on saying anything more since he didn't really have anything else to say about it. She wasn't going to like the silence that followed though. He stood there silently for a moment before he remembered he had forgotten to do something earlier.
" I'm very sorry, but it completely slipped my mind to give you my name. I am Alucard, and who might you be little dove? You don't have to answer though if you don't wish to." Alucard said to her in french.
Alucard waited for her to give him a reply, if she was even going to. He didn't use names much himself, mostly because of his habit of giving people his own name for them. He rarely needed them unless he needed to ask around for someone for whatever reason, so he general just used his own names for people.

Rylee thought about what he had said. It did seem like a nice school and looked like a lot of fun. Then he apologized and she nodded, forgiving him. She herd the name and it was different, but kind of cool. "My name is Rylee."
That "little dove" bit was getting kind of old. She was not a pet or a stupid white bird that pooed on stupid people who wanted them for their weddings. Yet she wondered why it was dove, she was nothing like that stupid bird. But of chorse she wasn't one for animals. Dogs she hated the most, but most animals seemed odd or gorse to her. But she did want to try something smart, and far from a fore legged beast. She probably wouldn't remember his name, no matter how different it sounded. She was never that good with names to begin with. She would probably only remember her roommates name because it was on the door along with her own.
Rylee's mind wondered to the temperature. She wondered if one of her cousin's had sensed the fluctuation in temperature. Or rather, would come and investigate the coldness. At this point she hoped one of them would come and help her out of this odd conversation, but she probably wouldn't be so lucky.

Alucard waited for her to reply. She told him her name was Rylee. He would probably remember it, mostly due to the interesting conversation they had. She looked like her mind was starting to wonder off to something else and she got the look of wanting out of a conversation but didn't want to just end it because she was tired of it. He figured since she didn't show any signs of ending their conversation, he might as well do it himself.
" Well as much of a pleasure as it has been talking with you Rylee, I think it is about time we part ways." Alucard said to her in french. " I do hope we can meet again some time, but that is yet to be seen. Good day to you, and I hope you have a pleasant time here at the school."
Alucard was about to move to leave when he remembered she still had his book.
" I almost forgot, but may I have my book back now?" Alucard asked her in french.
Alucard waited for her to hand him his book back. When he got it back from her, he could feel right away just how cold it was.

Rylee smiled at Alucard as he said good bye. He seemed nice, but yet shy, like her, but seemed more so in a way. "Yes, it was a pleasure" she responded once again in french. She looked down at the book in her hand as she noticed that she still had it. Oops, that was stupid of her. She handed it to her. "Sorry about that, well it was a pleasure, and I do hope to see you again as well."
A little while after the strange conversation between Alucard finished Rylee turned to the map in the book, she thought she might as well familiarize herself with the map so she didn't look like a loser trying to find her way. This would be the only time she would actually take time to look at it. Anyone who knew her well would know that she would never admit to getting lost. It wasn't the best quality, but it was one that she would learn to live with.
Once she finished with the book she focused on it and froze it. That was the end of that. Now what should we do? Go to the library? Get her sketch book? That sounded like a good idea. The plain ride didn't seem good for drawing. She couldn't really focus with a crying baby in the plane.

Alucard had gone back to his room after talking with that girl Rylee. She seemed like someone he could get along with, well maybe since it was always hard to tell with him. He changed into the cloths he always wore when he trained: shorts, sandals that strap up the lower part of his legs, and no shirt what so ever. He went to a clearing at the edge of the woods he liked using to train at with a towel and bottle of water. He headed for the clearing and found it. The place was an uneven oval shape and full of colorful wild flowers. He tried to avoid the flowers, which they oddly enough didn't go to the middle of it so he could. He set his towel and bottle of water near a tree at the open in the trees that was at the end of the path that lead to the place. He wasn't sure if it was put here by someone or was naturally came out this way, but it served his tastes and needs well.
Alucard walked out to the middle of the clearing and quickly stretched his body out to loosen it up. He eased into practicing his movements, before doing them in real time. He moved with speed and ease from years of doing this.

What an, odd day. America was so weird. So laid back. Rylee wasn't sure if she liked it as well as she thought she would. But no matter. She would do a form of meditation for her. Draw. With a sketch pad and pencil in hand she made her way out to the forrest. Finding a nice rock to sit on and started to sketch what lay in front of her. She first started to sketch the trees, then the flowers. The entire senary. Behind her was a odd claring with flowers and a path. Unfortunately she noticed that too late. She decided that she would draw it after she finished this page, or she would come back later. She did hear someone approaching, but right before she looked to see who the company was she noticed a squirrel that had just stopped to eat a nut on a tree near her that just happened to be in her drawing. She was captivated. Determined to get as much done before she moved she didn't dare more her attention. If she had known that it was Alucard, she would have smiled or said hello. She only thought that it was some passer bye, a student that thought the same about her.

Alucard hadn't paid much attention when he had gotten to the clearing since he was the only one who seemed to like to use it. He had been practicing for a short time, when he noticed that Rylee was sitting on a rock on the other side of the clearing from where he had come in. She was drawing, since there was a sketch pad in her hands. He wasn't sure what she was drawing, but it must have been an animal since she was sitting very still and completely focused on drawing something as fast as she could. He decided to go see if he was right since he was going to take a quick breather anyways.
Alucard walked up to her without making a single sound, not so much because he was trying to sneak up on her but because he just had a habit of not making much sound when he walked. He got behind her and looked at what she was drawing. She was drawing a squirrel, which hadn't noticed Alucard yet either. He watched her continue to draw until the squirrel finally went back off into the sea of trees. He liked how she drew and she was good at it.
" You draw very well, I'm impressed I have to say." Alucard said in french. " I don't have a talent for that though myself."
Alucard watched her react in the way that she obviously was going to, which he should have realized she would sooner but he got focused on watching her draw.

Rylee didn't dare erase anything that she had at the moment, she would do finer details after the little creature had gone. She did hear a little movement comming closer. After all it is near impossible to be totally silent. But she was greatful to whom ever it was that they were being as quiet as possible. Luckily the little thing wasn't startled by the two humans watching it and finished eating it's nut. Once dune it scurried off and Rylee took a deep breath. She would bearly breath when she was stressed for time on a drawing.
Taking a nice long glance at her drawing she jumped as she herd Alucard's voice in french speak to her. He was a lot closer than she thought he would be. But none the less she turned and smiled. Tanking him in french she looked at the rough sketch of the scenery, with the squirrel being the focal point of the drawing. "I've been drawing ever since I can remember, It just takes time. Pluse this is only a rough sketch. You should see what I can do when I have plenty of time on my hands.
