He smirked a little as she pulled her hand away from him. He assumed that it was due to the little story he told. "Upset me? Hmph." He walked away from her and back into the kitchen for another beer. He sensed that he was going to need it. But the idea still irritated him.
"What posessed you to go visit him anyway?" Then the idea came to him and his muscles tensed visibly. Had she done it? He didn't smell blood on her, but that didn't mean anything. She could have killed him without even touching him.
His rage was quickly building and had the capability of growing out of control. Perhaps she should have done a little more research and realize how easily it was to push him to such a fury. It got him into a lot of trouble after all, a lot of trouble that gave Logan his reasons for hating him.
In a moment he was back infront of her, but this time his hand was at her throat squeezing as he lifted her off of the ground. "What have you done?" She had better not say what he thought she would. If she killed him she was as good as dead and he wouldn't be able to stop himself. He might regret it later...

She felt his hand on her throat. his claws dug into her skin as he lifted her off the ground. She forgot how angry he could get. She wouldn't make that mistake again. It could cost her a body and then she would be back in Jean's body. Something she didn't want to do...ever. Her mind went dizzy for a second as her airway shut off for a couple seconds. that was when her powers flared up. She pushed him back a little ways as she fell back onto the ground. Her knees buckled as she fell and she gasped for air. When she had finally caught her breath she looked up at Victor. He was really angry with her. But why? Even if she had killed him he had said it himself that he deserved to die like all the other humans.
"Even if I had killed him I would think that you would be happy."
Phoenix stood up and brushed off her jeans as she rubbed her neck. there were thin scratches where his claws had been and she could feel little blood drops trickling down her neck, She didn't care at this point. Her eyes flashed fire as she looked at him. Was he going to kill her? He could right now if he wanted to she knew that. In a weird way she hoped that he wouldn't. She sighed.
"He's stapled to his office wall. I only threatened him about this stupid rally he's starting."

And that would probably be what he would regret more than anything. She wouldn't die he'd just be stuck with sharing that Jean woman's body with Logan again. Not something he'd jump into doing.
It was probably a good thing that she pushed him back so he lost his grip around her throat. He may not have started with the intention to kill her, but with the way his anger could fuel itself he could easily accidentally do something that tragic. The hand he had around her throat now had curled itself into a fist. His claws actually digging into his skin and causing his blood to drip from it while the wounds remained opened around those claws. "I will kill him...when and how I see fit." His lip twitched with a snarl before he turned and left her there.
He moved into the livingroom and then the bedroom. He needed to get away from her before he did something to her. She had passed a boundry that while she had no idea it was there, she was dangerously close to not ever being able to pass a boundry again. Of course, there was more to the story than he was giving away.

Phoenix watching his anger display itself across his body. He instantly tensed up and she saw blood dripping from his hands. She could only imagine that his claws were digging their way down to the bone. Again her mind went to comforting him but she pushed it back. No. She would not let these emotions cloud her mind. She had to be on her toes especially with him. She didn't care about him. Well...she hoped she didn't care about him. If she did then that would be trouble for both of them. Someone could use him as leverage against her. But that was only if she cared about him...which she did not...maybe.
"I could help you. We could kill him together, Victor."
She watched him walk away and through the apartment to the bedroom. He was really upset but she wished that she could read his mind right now. Maybe she could figure out why he was so upset. There was more to this she knew it and he wasn't going to tell her unless she pushed it out of him. He was stubborn she had grown to know that. One of the most stubborn people on the planet next to her of course. Phoenix followed him to the bedroom. She wanted to know why this was such a big deal. She looked at him from the doorway. She leaned against the frame.
"What's the big deal anyways?"

He was still fuming by the time she returned. Though for the moment he has his hand open infront of him as he watched his body heal the wounds like they had never occured. Amber eyes turned to her with that predatory glare as soon as she made a sound.
"I will kill him alone. He's mine." Perhaps he should be more forward in his plan of killing Graydon. If he lingered for too long he supposed it was bound for someone to beat him to it. But then he would just kill his killer. Some may think it would be revenge for his son but it would only be a petty score to settle for killing his kill.
what was the big deal?! Well, she didn't know, wouldn't know... Nor should he tell her. Who was she to come and pry into his personal life like this? Couldn't he just want to kill his son and leave it at that?
That snarl returned as he sighed and finally just told her. "When I went to show him that the bomb didn't work...he killed my...companion. He used that as a distraction to get away from me." He couldn't think of a word that really fit what Birdy was to him. Sure he had his fun with her but she also helped him sort out the savagery in his brain quite a bit.

She watched him as he stood there in the room. he wanted to kill Graydon alone and she could understand that. But when he mentioned his 'companion' that was when her anger started to build. That had only meant one thing. A woman. There had been another woman in his life. She knew that he had a lot of women in his history but when you call someone your companion that usually meant there were feelings involved. She didn't know why she was angry that there had been another woman but she was.
She was more angry at the fact that he was still thinking about her. Victor was her's now. He should only be thinking about her not that other woman. She was dead apparently. She was of no use to Victor now. Phoenix was here, now. He had someone. And she had him. These feelings that were running around in her head. She was happy that he wasn't a telepath and couldn't read her thoughts. She didn't want to tell him how she felt. But still he was her's. There was a furious fire in her eyes as she looked at him. Some of the objects in the room started to vibrate from her powers. Yes, now she was angry. Her words were sharp like his claws.
"Fine. Kill him alone."

Companion probably was a bad word to use. After all he did pay her money to do what she did. Well...the mess with his head part anyway. It was cute how she insisted on calling him Boss, and she was pretty good with a gun. But while his mind drifted back to times when he was with Birdy he noticed the way the furniture started to vibrate around him. And then he heard those words from Phoenix.
He couldn't help but smirk towards her. "What? You jealous of a dead girl?" Sure he was pissed off enough still that he kept the vendetta to kill his son. But she was still dead. What else was he going to do?
But this was funny, now that she was pissed off he wasn't anymore. In fact he actually thought she looked kind of cute with that jealous look on her face. How was this possible? Somehow his anger practically melted away when he realized how angry she had gotten so suddenly.
He walked up to her and stood right infront of her, not caring what she'd do in her anger. "I will." That smirked remained on his lips as he watched that fire burn in her eyes.

"She's dead. What can she do to keep me from you? Nothing."
Yes she was still angry and yes she was jealous but she wouldn't admit it to Victor. She would never admit it even if he could notice. She hadn't said no or yes to his question f being jealous so it was open ended. But he did have a point. She was dead. So why was Phoenix so angry about Victor still thinking about her? Her fiery eyes watched him cross the room and stand in front of her. Anyone else she would have killed instantly. But this was Victor. This was the man she.....what? She what? What was he to her? She didn't even know. She did know a way to get his mind back onto her though.
Her movements were lightening fast that if you blinked you would have missed it. She soon had him pinned against the wall. Her body pressed against his as she looked him in the eyes. A smirk played on her lips as they came so close to his. She teased him with her scent as she was so close to him. He would think twice before thinking of another woman. Dead or alive. Just before she walked away from him she whispered in a sultry tone.
"You're mine."

She walked away? He wasn't going to have that. His hand reached out to grab her arm and pulled her back to him. He pulled her so quickly that she spun around to press her body into his again. "Am I?" He stared her in the eyes for a moment, that odd sensation overwhelming him once more. It was weird. He should have been angry with her for her reaction. He had been angry about her intrusion of his life, but as things were going...perhaps she had a glimmer of a right to do so.
He continued to hold her close to him and look into her eyes. His hand moved up to brush his fingers against her cheek for a moment before those claws gathered a few locks of her hair. He leaned in to take the scent in of her hair while she lingered with him. "But if I am yours then you must be mine as well. Give and take Darlin'." He smirked a little to her, curious to see her reaction. It was possible she would either fold under or thrash away from him. He really didn't know, and that was the fun of it really.
This was a strange turn of events now wasn't it? From being angry about an invasion of privacy, to her being angry about another girl he might have cared for and now he was practically telling her that he loved her. In a complete...non-commital way of course...

She gasped as she felt him pull her back to him. Her body pressed firmly against his. She had meant to just walk away and leave him wanting her. To make sure that she was in his mind and not that other girl. That was what she had meant to do but Victor always had other plans. She should know this by now. She should know that she could never just walk away from him. He would always seem to have the upper hand in things.
She felt every muscle in his body contracting under her body. She had to admit she loved the feel of his body against hers. She loved his roughness and viciousness. He could keep up with her and that was a hard thing to do. He could satisfy her needs for lust and her need for blood and carnage. He was Victor. He was her Victor. That was it. She felt his fingers on her cheek and she closed her eyes for a brief second just enjoying it. She felt his claws in her hair as he took in her scent. She then heard what he said about her being his if he was hers. She smiled as she looked him in the eyes. She couldn't hide her feelings anymore but she wouldn't tell him outright fully. She just smirked as she kissed him deeply and passionately.
"I'm yours."

He returned that kiss to her lips, even adding a growl from his chest to her. "You always were." Perhaps he was giving away too much of his emotions for the woman. Of course he probably should just shut up while he was ahead.
In fact that wasn't such a bad idea. "In fact, why don't you be a good girl and prove it to me..." There was that wicked glimmer in his eyes as he said that, while only a moment passed before his hand had moved to weave into her hair and grasp it between his fingers. He held her like that for a long moment, bending her head back so he could inhale her scent. It was something he did a lot, but he couldn't get over how she smelled. That scent made his skin crawl in such a wonderful manner. Another growl was given to her before he bit her neck. It was a firm bite, enough to sting and possibly leave a bruise before he pulled his head back and used that leverage of her head and hair to push her in the direction of the bed.
Sure he knew that he might regret that move later, but he'd love what she'd do to make him regret that.

Phoenix smiled as she heard him say that she had always been his. It wasn't the usual smirk that she gave him. It was a genuine smile. It was a very rare occasion when you saw that on her face. But she meant it when she heard him say those words. Then when she heard his next words the smirk returned. He wanted a good girl? Well she didn't play that game. Phoenix was always bad. There was no good in her. Or so thats what she told people.
She felt his inhale her scent again. He liked to do that and she didn't mind really. he was an animal. He was her animal and nothing could change that. Shivers ran down her spine as he bit her neck. She felt the sting but it just made her smile even more. Now this was the Victor she knew most about. This was the one who caused her pain and pleasure all at once. She growled as he pushed her to the bed. She flopped down ontop of it and looked up at him with fiery eyes. She then used her powers to pull him down to the bed with her.
"There's no good girl tonight....or ever."
