Night Wolf had decided to come to the institute while the house he had just gotten for himself was finished being repaired and updated. He hadn't been to the school for some time, and aside from the plane now coming back and forth between here and the Exile castle, nothing much seemed to have changed. All the students went about their business in the hallways, ignoring their surroundings and just talking amongst themselves.
Night watched the students for a time as they went about their day. He hadn't had what one would call a normal childhood, even for a mutant. He had grown up in an orphanage that was using the kids they picked up as test subjects for experiments at anti-mutant tactics. He had finally managed to escape that place when he was 16, but because of it he had never lived like the students here. They went about their days talking freely amongst themselves, playing games, and just enjoying themselves. He hadn't ever gotten a chance to do that, so he wondered sometimes what it would be he would do for fun if he had the chance. He always seemed to be moving from goal to goal, whatever it might be, and never taking the time to just relax and enjoy himself.
Night just continued to watch the students as he thought about his life to this point, and how different it had all been from the students he was watching. He considered them lucky, and just hoped that their lives could stay that way.

Another day, another class of students to wrangle up and babysit. "Next time Charlie takes a vacation, remind me not ta volenteer." Thank God that had been his last class of the day! So he turned the corner, following a student down the hall towards the main room. He knew he could find some peace there. He passed by some students, his sharp ears picking up snatches of conversations. Mostly rumors and who wore the cutest clothes. Chuckling to himself, he turned down the hallway that led to the adult lounge.
He was nearly there too when he noticed a young man who didn't quite fit with the bustling teenager scene. He was fairly decent looking, had a good build to him. He seemed to be watching the students, lost in his own thoughts. Logan decided to do a little watching of his own. He stopped across the hall from the man, who was clearly not a student and studied him a bit further. Maybe he was a new addition to the team? God help them if he was. He had an odd smell to him too. Having watched him enough, he stepped across the hall and haulted right next to him, his gaze on the door in front of him. "Hey bub. Ya thirsty? Why don't cha step inside fer a drink?" he opened the door and walked in, not waiting for a reply.
As he walked in, he noticed the room was empty. Good. He pulled a cigar out of his pocket and lit it before crossing to the little fridge. Pulling open the the door, he grabbed a beer and turned to see if the lad had followed him in. "So what brings ya here bub?"
