Night Wolf was laying down on the bed in the infirmary. He had taken a beating at the rally and the people at the institute seemed to have been the ones who had gotten him out of there after he passed out. He was cut up and bruised from the fight with the kitty man, he had a couple of broken ribs thanks to the kitty man having hit him there hard several times and the laser those men in red used on him had finally broken them, and his right arm's bones were covered in small fractures all along it due to that shot he had taken at the wall to blow a hole open for people to get out of the building. He had walked around some the other day, but it seems the people at the infirmary hadn't liked that too much and wouldn't let him leave it again. He normally would have just traveled out of the place, but while his animal mutation had come back fairly quickly, his shadow manipulation powers hadn't yet for some strange reason. He knew his powers were still there since he could still feel them, but he couldn't seem to get them to work.
Night sighed as he laid on the bed. He didn't have anything to do since the people in the infirmary wouldn't let him leave and they never seemed to hear him when he asked for a book or something to do. He would be happy if anyone visited him or even brought him a book or food or anything. He wasn't use to just laying around and waiting for his injuries to heal over. He just hoped someone visited soon.

Alex had hurd that Night was back but she hadn’t visited him yet she just couldn’t make herself do it yet that was until she was very board one day sick of people talking, sick of being alone and couldn’t think of anything to do and she found herself walking near by the infirmary with her guitar over her shoulder and some scores in her arm.
She popped her head in to the room and then ran up and jumped on to Nights bed holding her scores tight to her chest “Hi!!!” She smiled at him tilting her head to the side a little “Sorry I didn’t come earlier you wouldn’t believe the last little wile, So how are you, you looked pretty banged up I hurd that Alice was there ……..she didn’t do this to you did she. Its nice to see you Night but really if you want to come vist you don’t need to get in a huge fight and have Dr. McCoy save you…” she smiled at him she still wasn’t smiling like she use to and events lately had pretty much made her just want to lock her self in her room all the time but she couldn’t do that mostly cause she new that people tended now to try to hear what was going on her in room scene people found out about her and Nights mistake.

Night Wolf was still laying on the bed in the infirmary and wondering why his shadow manipulation powers weren't working when he smelt a familiar scent. He looked over and saw Alex enter into the room with a guitar on her shoulder and a pile of music sheets in her hands. She was smiling at him and acting friendly, but he could hear her unrest under her voice. Most people probably couldn't hear it, but Night was glad he had such good hearing and could. He didn't like it when people he considered to be friends didn't show how they truly felt around him, not that he had to deal with it very much due to his lack of friends. He looked at her and studied her for a moment.
" No Alice didn't do this too me, some things happened at that rally and I took some minor damage. Also, I visit when I'm not injured as well." Night said to her as he shifted slightly in the bed. " What I want to know though, is what is bothering you Alex? You can tell me nothing is wrong if you want, but your body language and the undertone of your voice don't lie. Just go ahead and tell me what it wrong, or I'm going to be forced to find out on my own."

Alex smiled at him as he spoke setting her scores to the side, It was good that Alice didn’t do this to him or she might as well just march up stairs and find a way to hurt her, herself. “I know you visit I’m just joking around can’t I do that” Alex smiled and tilted her head to the side giggleing a little.
But when he asked what was wrong Alex looked at him wondering if he really wanted to know she shuged a little “Tim died along with my other friends that where captured by Cain he died to only one that made it that I knew was Devika and then she only came to take her snake thing back and she took off again, we been calling and what not but…that’s it really”
Alex wasn’t going to tell him the rest of it how the school all tough she was a slut cause of what they did how it was effecting how people treated her the things she was hearing in the hall she even herd someone say that her and Tim must of done it cause they where so close. She figured Night would just take that her friends died and leave it at that Tim was like a brother to her anyway so it was believable that that was the only thing upsetting her.
Alex smiled and looked at Night wanting to change the subject on him “but its o.k I’m surviving and summer fest is coming up so that will be fun O Night you should come they do it every year its so much fun!”

Night Wolf listened to what she told him, but he had a feeling she was hiding something from him. He wasn't sure what it was or why he thought so, just something told him she was. He had decided not to press the issue though since she already had enough to deal with as it was. He listened to her talk about this new upcoming event at the school and wondered if he was going to have to do something there and if not if he should go to it. He also wondered if Alex knew the news about him yet or not. He hadn't informed anyone about it yet though and didn't know if anyone knew yet. He looked Alex in the eyes.
" Alex, I don't know if you have heard yet or not, but I was asked to join the Xmen." Night said to her in a serious and calm tone.
Night waited to hear what she had to say since he knew she was going to say something about it. He listened to her as she talked. He smiled as she finished.
" I decided to join them so I'm going to be here more often. I thought you might like to hear about that." Night said to her. " So that means I will be able to spend more time with you and you won't have to deal with this whole situation alone anymore."

When he said the news he had Alex jumped up standing on the bed looking down at Night “Really!! Your joining the X-men that so cool so your staying so are you going to live hear then cause that will be cool and if you’re an X-men then you can help people all the time just don’t get in to many fights that’s bad and you don’t want to end up in hear again well people end up in hear all the time I really think they should just set up a room to hang in her hear and have stuff to do cause it can get boarding but I’ve never had anything worst then being passed out or well um…getting huge cuts mostly if I’m in hear it cause I hurt my self somehow or just something happened you know…but you should try not to be in hear so much it you’ll make a name for yourself well…..yea you’ll do that anyway. O Night being an X-men going to be so fun for you I’ve always wanted to be one but I’m not sure anymore I don’t think I can handle the training I want to help people soooooooooo bad but I don’t know how I can, cause x-men you know they fight and I don’t know how to that well and o well still your going to be an X-men that so cool!!!”
Alex would of hugged him but with him laying on the bed at the moment it would have been hard to also what if someone was to walk in that be awkward in its self but the fact that she was standing over Night why he was laying down did not seem to faze her of being odd.
“Night its nice to know that someone will be there she smiled just don’t go dying on me o.k”

Night Wolf winced as Alex said all of that in almost a scream right next to his ears. That would have hurt anyone's ears, but it was bloody murder on those with enhanced hearing. Night wasn't sure when his ears would stop throbbing from the yelling and he wasn't about to say anything until they had slowed down some. He was silent for a short time until his ears were better. He looked at Alex and gave her a slight frown.
" Alex, please try to not scream in my ears next time. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, just enhanced hearing also means enhanced pain from loud noises." Night said to Alex with a pleading voice. " Also I'm not sure if I'm going to move into the place or not yet. I do know I'm going to be teaching here as soon as summer is over. I'll be here for that, but as far as living here goes I can't say for sure yet. I'm thinking they will most likely have me stay here since I will be teaching though, but they might not since I can just travel to the school easily."

Alex was excited so when she did get that way she always was load and higher pitch she wouldn’t of called it screaming but the frown on Nights face proved that he did not enjoy the fact that she had done that Alex feel to her knees back on the bed with a disappointed look on her face.
“I’m sorry” she said quietly her arms slightly crossed in front of her she didn’t mean to hurt Night.
But when he said he was going to be teaching she tilted her head a little “what are you going to be teaching, do you know also…that’s cool that you just travel when ever guess it work just be careful promise me”
Alex slipped off the bed picked up her sores again and sat in the chair that was by the bed removing the interment from off her back she looked up at Night weighting for him to say something or do something he didn’t want her to be loud and when Alex wasn’t loud she didn’t know what to do. So she just sat there and looked at Night. She was happy that he was going to be hear but that did mean he was going to find out about everyone talking about her and her mystery boy toy.

Night Wolf started to do what you could call pawing at his ears. He was doing the same thing that a dog or cat does after hearing a loud noise and kept it up until his hearing was back to normal. He looked over at Alex after it had and noticed she was sitting quietly in the chair on the other side of the room and looked like she was sulking. He sighed and started to sit up in the bed. He moved his right arm and tried to push himself up with it, but ended up dropping back down after the large jolt of pain quickly spreed over it and somehow had started to make his chest hurt where he had broken those ribs as well. He let out what sounded like a dog yelping as the pain hit as well.
" Forgot I fractured my right arm up extremely well and broke a couple of ribs. Well that was a painful reminder for sure, but what is important right now isn't that. Alex, you can talk all you want to and come back over here as well. I'm fine now, you just caught me off guard there when you first started talking." Night said with a slight smile. " Now then why don't you tell me what you have been up to lately?"

Alex sat there for a moment until she herd night yelp in pain she looked up worried about him he was still hurt was he trying to move he didn’t need to move. When he said that he forgot that he fractured his arm and broke a rib or two Alex frowned as far as she knew no one else got that hurt at the rally or at lest they didn’t end up at the school if they did.
She lessoned as he spoke and asked her to come sit back next to her and continue to talk she moved back over and sat on the head of the bed she looked at Night with worry in her eyes. She didn’t want to hurt him when she spoke. She gave a heavy sigh when he asked what she’d been up to poping her legs up on the bed and resting her head on her knees.
“Just been doing my day to day thing you know, been singing a lot I found a few great spots that people don’t walk by you know just don’t want others to hear when I sing it’s the one true time I really share what I’m feeling for me its more then just music actually that what I was doing before I came hear”.

Night Wolf watched her as she came over to the bed and had propped her feet up on the bed. He smiled at her as she began to talk. She wasn't talking like she normally would have, which annoyed him since that meant she wasn't being honest with him but he wasn't going to say anything about it since she was going to do what she felt was best no matter what. He listened to her and patted her leg with his left hand since that was the easiest spot for him to reach.
" Well that is good to hear. I'm glad your still singing and playing music. I like hearing you do both since your so good at doing both of them." Night said to Alex with a smile. " I just hope you will play for me and sing for me again some time soon. This room could really use something lively to brighten it up, figuratively not literally. I hate bright lights."
Night waited to see what she would do and hoped she might actually play something for him. He hadn't listened to any music since the last time she had played for him and he was craving it in a way.

Alex looked at him when he place a hand on her leg looking at his hand with a small smile when he said the he hoped she’s play for him soon and that the room could use some brighten up she got the hint that he wanted to hear to play and why not he was just laying there and she had some of her stuff down hear with her anyway. She slipped off the bed and garbed her guitar sat at the foot of the bed crossing her leg this way she wouldn’t bump Night as she played. "you know its alot easier to make it brighter" She looked at her score books and debated witch one to pick a song form for a moment. She picked up one of the books and open to a random page smiling down at the page there was lots of notes on this pages and harts she loved this song her mom use to sing it all the time to her when she was little it was the song her mom said was “Alex song” because both her and Sam had songs. “O.k so this one is called Solla Sollwe” Alex started to play the song and started to sing “There's a faraway land

Night Wolf listened to Alex sing and play the song. He had really enjoyed it just like he always did when ever she played and sang for him. He was glad he got to hear her, but he was also falling asleep. The medication that the nurse had given to him to help him recover seemed to have finally kicked in and it was making him very drowsy and he couldn't keep from getting more and more tired. He didn't like not being able to wake up if he wanted to, but there wasn't anything he could do about it. He needed to tell Alex what was happening before he just suddenly fell asleep on her.
" Alex, that was very beautiful. You are good at singing and playing music and I have to say I always enjoy it. I would love to hear another song, but it seems the stupid medicine the nurse gave me has kicked in and I can keep from going to sleep. I would love to keep talk with you, but I can't stay awake. Sorry, but we will have to catch up more later." Night said to Alex in a voice showing that he was nodding off quickly. " I hope you start to feel better..."
Night had fallen asleep and gone off into his dreams.
