“Hmm…this place could use a little more taste…”
Tari looked around with a critical eye, noticing little things that she would change if she owned this school. Xavier really should do some things differently with this place, she thought. And why was Freya here in the first place? It was out of character for her. Tari keep pacing the room, keeping her light shawl around her tanned shoulders. She had spent many days in the sun, near the ocean during her travels.
A student wandered in and their eyes widened when they spotted Tari pacing the room. After a few moments, Tari turned her ice cold stare on the young student. “Bring Freya here.” She seemed to treat the student as if he was a servant, but nonetheless, the student scampered out to obey.
Again, Tari paced the room, getting more agitated by the second. Suddenly, her mind turned onto other unpleasant things…like Rory. Was Rory here? Her eyes narrowed instinctively at the thought of him being here with her precious sister. Why did he have to come between the two sisters? Tari hadn’t seen Freya in a very long time and it was because of that man. Maybe she would teach him a lesson at least once, when Freya wasn’t around to stop her…

It wasn’t often Tari came to the school, and it always threw off the students. Sure, the two weren’t totally identical… But they were close enough if you didn’t actually know about the other one, you’d mistake them for each other. You’d just think one of them dyed their hair and wore colored contacts. Anyone that knew them though, knew the difference on sight. It wasn’t that hard. Sure, they shared the same face, but Freya was a redhead, Tari brunette. Freya had green eyes, Tari and blue. Easy, right? Apparently not.
The student who came to find her was totally freaked out, like they’d seen a ghost, muttering something about someone who looks like her looking for her. Freya just laughed, going in search of her evil twin. (Though everyone who knew the two would say Freya was the evil twin…)
Freya waited out of sight a few minutes, glancing in to see her sister pacing. Why didn’t she go in yet? She wanted to see how angry her baby sister would get. After a short time though, she grinned her trademark sly grin that made you think she was up to something. ”Petite soeur. Finally come to the states to say hello?” She spoke in French, purely so other people wouldn’t understand what the two might talk about. After all, half the time they were in the room alone together they ended up fighting. Literally.

Tari could literally feel Freya's approach. She didn't know if Freya knew it or not, but her sister seemed to unconsciously let off heat. Maybe Tari did that too and Freya could sense that as well. Or maybe it was just their bond as twins. She wasn’t quite sure. Their relationship was always mysterious that way.
A cold smirk rose in response to Freya’s comment. “Soeur plus vieille…honestly, I should be older, by how you act, Freya.” After a minute, Tari’s smirk turned into a genuine smile and her blue eyes sparkled in silent affection for her sister.
“It’s been a while. I just don’t understand why you stay at this…school.” As she said this, her eyes suddenly sweep the room again. Tari then turned her ice-cold eyes back on Freya again, the sparkle suddenly gone.
“Please don’t tell me it’s him. He’s honestly not worth staying for…” Feelings of resentment and anger raged within her again. Why did this man have to steal her sister away? The room’s temperature suddenly dropped several degrees, due to her mood swing. She then looked up at her sister again, searching for an answer.

Freya knew her sister could feel her, just like Freya could feel her. It was the difference in temperatures. Freya always knew where her sister was, because her natural body temperature was lower than anyone else’s, and likewise, Tari always knew where Freya was because of her unnaturally high temperature.
Her own grin softened a little when Tari smiled. ”I like being older though. Makes me feel superior.”
”The school might not be as nice as our home, but it has a certain charm to it.” Oh, Freya recognized that cold look she was getting. Tari always gave it to her when she was going to bring him… him…
Sighing, Freya ran her fingers through her hair. ”Did you come all this way just to lecture me about my taste in men?” Her smile was gone, an annoyed scowl in place of the previous light spirits. ”Must you always voice your distaste at every meeting? You waste your breath and time. Don’t worry though, he hates you just as much as you hate him.” She smirked.
The temperature rose back up, Freya forcing it back up. ”Souer, perhaps this once we could not start our wonderful reunion on a sour note?”

Tari felt the temperature rising again and the oh-so familiar feeling of contending with her sister. But this time, she realized it was her own fault. Her mood swings were especially bad lately…Tari caused some major flooding recently down in the south, just because some human made a comment about mutants that she didn’t like. Breathing slowly in and out, Tari’s rage cooled down some and she was the epitome of calm again. Freya was right…for once.
“Honestly, why are you here? Is it to pay back a debt? Or did I guess correctly before?” She was more open and…as friendly as she would get. Tari never was open to anyone besides Freya. And it was unusual to see a friendly side of her. But she hadn’t seen her sister in so long and was missing her. Tari’s eyes softened more as she continued to talk with her twin.
But then her head tilted a little, a smirk on her face. “Did you get in a recent scuffle? I honestly couldn’t see you without being in a fight once in a while, Souer.” Another unusual emotion from Tari. She rarely ever teased.

Night Wolf had decided to come to the institute for no reason. He was starting to visit the place some more and watch all the younger mutants having a good time in a place instead of the time he had growing up in that orphanage. He loathed that place with a passion far greater then any he could imagine. He walked into the place and saw two women who were identical talking to each other in french. They must have been identical twins from what he could guess, although he did notice their eyes were different colors. He missed most of what the blue eyed one had said, but did manage to catch her last line about a fight. He wasn't sure if he should say anything or not, but he might as well find out what was happening. He walked over to them and felt how much the temperature around them seemed to shift. He wasn't sure what their powers were, but his instincts told him that they were EXTREMELY dangerous. He took that into consideration.
" Excuse me, but did I hear you mention something about someone fighting? I can't say I know much about this place, but I have never heard of any fights happening here." Night asked of them in french, obvious that it wasn't his native language. " Also, good day to the both of you."

”Must I have a reason for being here?” Freya was running her fingers through her red hair, smirking still. ”It’s livelier here then at the Castle. You might be fine there. It’s quiet and tranquil. Not exactly my favorite.” It wasn’t a secret the two girls took after their powers. Freya had a thing against the quiet. Of course, that wasn’t her only reason. Rory was another, but Tari already knew that one.
She was about to speak up, tell her sister about the interesting healing man she’d fought a few weeks before, when a new voice interrupted them.
Freya’s green gaze turned to focus on the intruder who understood their language. Her eyebrows raised, a little surprised one of the school’s residents spoke French. ”Someone? Monsieur, ma souer meant me.” Suddenly she was smirking, finding it a little funny for some reason. ”You are new, yes? You would not know then, but you aren’t supposed to hear about the fights I get in. Because I rarely let the other person live after.”
She was still smirking, even more amused now. ”I am surprised. Rarely are students and their guests brave enough to interrupt Tari and I. They are worried we might kill them.” she paused for a few moments. "Perhaps you should introduce yourself, monsieur? You did, after all, interrupt us."

Night Wolf listened to her speak and was glad she hadn't spoken too fast for him to understand her. He wasn't sure why he shouldn't talk to them, but he knew that his instincts told him they were dangerous and that the students must have acted on that. He never saw a reason to avoid others though just because of that instinct, a habit from the orphanage that was sure to get him killed or badly injured one of these days. He looked at the green eyed one who had spoken to him. He wasn't sure what was going through their heads, but it wouldn't hurt to just do as she had asked.
" Ah yes, how rude of me. You may call me Night Wolf. I must say it is a pleasure to meet you and your twin sister I take it? You are both lovely ladies and I don't understand why others would let such a minor thing as losing their lives stop them from talking and interacting with such beauties as yourselves." Night said to her with a friendly smile. " I am sorry if I seem some what, flirty, but I hear that it is always best to complement those you speak with in proper conversation in France. I can not say if that holds true since the one who taught me was, well odd and eccentric. He was always more interested in the old aristocracy of France then of your current culture. I am sorry if I am wrong to assume you are native French women as well."

Tari's ice-blue glare immediately turned on the newcomer and the light mood of the previous conversation vanished. Unlike Freya, who had a smirk, Tari’s face was expressionless and cold. She immediately didn’t like this intruder.
“Excuse me, but this is a private conversation. If you were a proper gentleman at all, you would not have interrupted us in the first place.” Tari wasn’t a big fan of being interrupted, but it made it all the worse that it was with her sister and that he eavesdropped on their conversation. She wanted to freeze him on the spot, right then and there, but Tari was sure that others wouldn’t like that, since he was a guest at the school.
But when she saw the little exchange between this newcomer and her sister, Tari noticed that Freya was more open and willing to talk to others than she was before. Sometimes before, Freya would have burnt them on the spot without a second thought. Forgetting their guest at the moment, Tari turned back to Freya with an expression of confusion on her face.
“Ma souer…you have gotten soft…” Tari mused. She didn’t mean it as an insult, but she didn’t mean it as a compliment either. More of an observation than anything. She couldn’t pinpoint the feeling that flooded through her…was it…longing? To not be on your guard everyday, to have…friends? No…it was jealousy. Tari, deep down inside her, wanted to be able to interact with others like a normal person would.

Freya knew Tari wouldn’t take kindly to an intruder. She never did. Tari wasn’t a people person… But neither was Freya for that matter! While Tari snapped at unwanted visitors, Freya toasted them… Her time at the school though had forced the woman to reconsider this behavior. After all, no one actually liked being roasted. ”Tari, proper gentlemen are boring. There’s no fun when they aren’t a little rude from time to time.” That hadn’t really changed with Freya. While Tari was conservative and conventional, expecting everyone to act in a certain way, Freya wanted people to break the rules, if you will. They really were polar opposites. Hearing her sister’s observation…. Freya’s face flushed red. Why she hated the idea…. Well, the woman was violent by nature, and she was proud of it. You didn’t call a violent person soft! ”La soeur douce de bébé… Do I hear a touch of jealousy in your voice?”Finally, her attention returned to the slightly younger man. ”Oui, we are twins. Je suis Freya, ma souer, Tari. She smirked a little. The man was fluent in the French language, but she could hear a touch of shakiness in his voice, either from being rusty or only just fluent. ”You are right, just be careful with how much flirting you do. Never know if you are flirting with an already taken woman.” A short pause, and she laughed. ”You weren’t wrong. We are from France, but it must be hard to tell, as our accents aren’t nearly as noticeable when we speak our native language. You would recognize us as French women if we were to speak English.”((Sweet baby sister, if you don’t feel like looking it up ))

Outside the mansion there was an eery sort of calm to the warm summers day. There was no breeze and in the forest surrounding the mansion there was dead silence, as if someone... or something.... had just traveled through it. Then suddenly out of the shadows of the forest a large figure appeared. The mountainous figure began making its way toward the main driveway of the mansion, toward the front door.
The figure appeared almost alien, in a metallic black suit that covered its body and gave it the appearance of a living, breathing, walking, tank. Upon closer inspection one could see that the black suit was almost completely drenched and spattered in blood, both old and new. Upon the helmet of the menacing suit was a white skull painted onto the metal, but the skull was blotched with red, obviously blood as well. Without hesitation the figure quickly and gracefully covered the distance between the forest and the front gate, almost like a ghost moving along the ground, strangely none of the security systems went off; no doubt a bad sign.
The door to the mansion quietly opened, and the demonic figure stepped across the threshold and into the building. Immediately a few of the students that weren't outside playing or in class saw the figure, and the blood, and screamed. The creature however simply paused for a moment, as if searching for something, and on the far side of the room he saw the flash of red hair; his target.
With an unnatural grace and speed in its movement, the figure made it's way to the red headed Elensar. The black suit towered over the woman, and it was now obvious that one of his hands had been behind its back the whole time as it slowly moved forward to reveal a hand full of.... Flowers?
Fiery red roses to be exact. Many of them were a bit poor looking, sagging on their stalks and wilting slightly. It was obvious that they had been through quite a bit, and on some of the flowers were... flakes of blood. Quickly the suited man turned away, wiping the flakes of blood off the flowers and trying to make them stand up straight again, before turning back to Freya and presenting them for her again.
Though to anyone else the scene would look strange, and Rory himself was not much of a romantic person, but there was no mistake about the intention of these flowers. Rory had told Freya he would only be gone a couple days, but it turned into well over a week or more, Rory had lost count. These flowers were an apology.
"Sorry for being so late, I uh... Ran into a bit of trouble on the way home." A metallic voice came from the helmet, and a drop of blood fell from his elbow onto the wooden floor. Rory glanced down at it, then back at Freya, "Some of the trouble more recent than other..." He said, the sheepish sound in his voice clear even through the metallic sound of the helmet. Rory was far to concerned with Freya right now to notice her company, especially the certain memeber of the company that looked exactly like Freya...

Rory's entrance was.... a little shocking to say the least, and not just to the students he traumatized on the way in. Freya had just finished speaking to their first intrusive visitor when, with absolutely no warning, a dark figure cast a shadow over her. And Freya's first instinct? Attack.
Really, it wouldn't surprise anyone that the temperature sky rocketed... Before she realized what it was. Of course she recognized who it was, hard not to with that suit. Sighing, the temperature went back down as she looked up at him, an eyebrow raised, silently asking him why he was wearing the suit indoors.
The flowers were.... well, Freya was caught off guard. He wasn't a romantic, at all. So the fact that he'd even considered getting her flowers, even as an apology, was shocking to say the least. After a moment though, she started to laugh, especially when he quickly tried to fix the stems and wipe some of the blood off. With out even a moment's hesitation she reached out to take them, a smile on her lips. "You're scaring the students. At least remove your helmet." She was speaking English finally, her accent thick, the woman struggling to pronounce some sounds, including the 'th' in 'the'. Night had been right to assume they were French.
"Speaking of trouble, you're about to get in a hell of a lot more."With a nod of her head, she motioned towards her sister. "You're arch nemesis has come to say hi. You might want to keep the suit on so she doesn't succeed in killing you." Had she mentioned to Rory that Tari hated him..? Or did he even remember that she had a twin sister? Either way.... Things were about to get very interesting.

As Rory made his way into the mansion, and the students began screaming, something he and the Professor had talked about a few weeks ago came to mind. The Professor said Rory could live there and get his life straightened out so long as he didn't harm any of the students, and he also said something about wearing or not wearing his suit inside the mansion but... Rory's memory got hazy sometimes. Besides, seeing the terror on all their faces was was just pure ecstacy for him.
"They need the fear of God put in them from time to time, or the fear of meeting Him at least." A soft chuckle came from the helmet. Rory fed off of peoples fear, Freya had already seen this a few times just since he started staying at the mansion. As he glanced over Freya though, taking in her figure, something he had missed the past few weeks, perhaps she had the right idea of taking his helmet off.
There was a spray of pressure as a crack appeared down the middle of his helmet, which then split in half and seemed to melt away. It soon revealed the Irish face of Rory, complete with rough goatee. Though he was sporting a few new features, such as dried on blood around his cheeks and forehead, as well as a deep cut extending from the corner of his left eye down and out of sight underneath the suit. Obviously he hadn't been gone on a picnic all this time.
Without another word he wrapped his arms around Freyas waist, gave her a slight wink, then pulled her into a kiss. The kiss itself was probably quite a bit more passionate than a public kiss should've been, but hey, it'd been a while... Finally after several seconds passed he pulled away.
"Arch Nemesis?" Rory said with raised brow, and a now noticable, thick, Irish accent. Slowly his eyes followed Freya's toward another Freya... No, another woman that looked exactly like Freya.
Rory stood there with his mouth slightly agape for a moment, staring at Freya, then the other women, then Freya, then the other woman. There were very few differences, so few that Rory felt as though he were staring at a "Spot the Difference" picture.
"Freya, alainn... Do ye 'ave a twin, er 'ave I been hit in the head harder than I thought?"

Tari instinctively bristled for a moment at Freya's comment on jealousy. But, seeing as how well Freya knew her, she relaxed. If it had been anyone but Freya...they would have been flash-frozen right where they stood. The twins were polar opposites, but at the same time…they were very close. Since Freya was being cordial towards the newcomer, Tari might as well and gave a nod of courtesy towards him.
But soon, that all disappeared the instant he walked in. A very typical entrance for Rory, for sure…striding in, bloody and arrogant as usual. Tari’s expression froze on her face the instant he walked in. Immediate rage roared in her ears and her eyes grew steely. They carried on a conversation, completely ignoring her when he handed her the flowers…bloody flowers.
Tari’s countenance was so different from how she was feeling inside. She was eerily calm, but you could literally see her ice-blue eyes glowing, glinting in the light. She could barely hold back her power to destroy him, but not yet…
“Rory Ashe…it’s been a while.” Her tone was polite…but you could literally hear the threat behind it. Anyone could see that. Tari was like a tiger with her tail flicking back and forth as she toyed with her prey. And she knew Rory would pick that up immediately, doing what he did for a living. She did that on purpose.

Freya was smiling, slyly this time. "You've a knack for it to, love." He really did. Since his return, Rory had worked up a reputation that matched her own. And he hadn't actually done anything to the students. Just scared them stiff. So... Even with out the suit, the students just might have screamed....
Freya made a face when she noticed that it wasn't just the exterior of his suit that was blood soaked. "You better take a shower before tonight." Her tone, on the other hand, said a different story. It sounded more like 'I won't let you enter our room until you've washed off all that blood'.
None the less, she stepped into his embrace, it wasn't like the blood was fresh or anything. And if he did get her clothes bloody... The kiss made her forget about any threat she might use against him if he did. It wasn't exactly possible to think about threatening him when he kissed her like that.
Of course, the kiss only lasted a moment, making Freya scowl in distaste. Why was it so short? Wait, people. Right. Bad place to kiss. Not to mention Tari hated Rory, so seeing him and Freya kissing wouldn't help her already hatred for him. "Mmmhmm."
His reaction verified her fear. He still didn't remember Tari. Perhaps she should have mentioned her younger sister before hand. "Elensar sisters, remember?" She'd lowered her voice so only Rory would hear her. She was positive he'd heard someone mention her in a plural form before. "Me and Tari. She hates you. Just act like you remember her, and she won't give us a lecture. Hopefully." She was smirking, having made sure that Tari wouldn't hear, or see, her give Rory the warning. "Can't say she won't attack you though. She is my younger sister after all." And he knew first hand just how violent Freya could be... Any sister of hers couldn't be a pacifist.
"La soeur douce de bébé, just remember where we are before you make any plans to destroy him." She was smirking, her intense green gaze turning to focus on Tari, the woman still in Rory's embrace.
