It’s been a couple weeks since i joined the academy, and i still feel that it hasn't hit me yet that I’m a mutant. All I’m doing right now is lying out in the open staring at the sky. I feel that now I’m a mutant I should be able to change things. Show public that mutants are people too. After all in a moral debate such as this people always should know both sides.

* has a flashback

It was back in my second year of middle school (before i went to private school). It was the first period of Friday and we were having our yearly mutant awareness assembly in the school auditorium. I was sitting near the back next to my friends. Even back then i thought the whole mutants are menaces that should be locked up thing questionable, factually and against my philosophies. My friends agreed. Thinking back i had really smart friends. We were smugly talking back and forth.

Alex: Why should i be afraid of a guy who can use his powers to shoot fireballs when i can use my hunting rifle to shoot bullets?

Tom: A lot of people can, i mean my dad collects guns.

Luke: Heck you could probably make a flamethrower and shoot fire too just hairspray lighter done. You can even carry those around with you.

Video:So it is best to capture help these mutants at the earliest remember if you see a mutant call 911 the Mutant Apprehension Department or M.A.D. will come to assist you.

After the video ended a large bla- I mean African America man who had been sitting next to the administrative staff walks on stage, wearing jeans and an open brown leather jacket with a blue shirt underneath. He looked angry and nervous at the same time. The audience assumes he is a spokesman the head administration talk back and forth in a corner in a confused manner. The man picks up the microphone takes a deep breath *sighs* into it unprofessionally.

Spokesman?: Thank you for all coming here today i know that you'd rather be in bed or playing games but i came down here to tell you kids one thing and one thing only and that is the truth of mutants. I had a friend once who was involved in a mutant accident. He was my son. He was only 11 when it happened. When one of those monsters killed him.

The man seemed sad and angry failing to hide it. Sweat rolls down his face the audience grew nervous. Something wasn't right and everyone knew it. Everything grew quiet. The administration looked in doubt.

Spokesmen?: You know mutants aren't always insane or evil just misunderstood. Sometimes they are just people who we wanted to help. I knew that mutant once his name was Danny. He came to me for help... he just became a mutant and couldn't control his power. He had the power to control air. It wasn't even that powerful. But I got scared and sent him away instead of helping, and because of it my son was suffocated. Died from lack of air. My son his name was Danny and he was murdered inside one of your mutant help facilities or as i like to call them mutant concentration camps.

The man pressed a button on his remote before anyone, could process what had just happened, a video played.

The video displayed would be forever burned into our minds.
It was of the camp.

Everyone was shocked at what they were seeing some were scared crying. I myself was angry for the first time in a long time i was angry and determined to do something about it. The spokesman was dragged away by security relieved tears on his face smiling. The teachers did all they knew how to in order to shut the video off quickly. It was the gym teacher who ended it, smashed the computer with a baseball bat. No matter what they said to us afterwards. Their credibility was gone.

I felt rage like i had never before, the video wasn't fake. The production cost would be too high to hide this video if it was. That weekend me and my friends spent all weekend nonstop trying to find the video to show it to the public. We figured out that the video was streamed from somewhere since there wasn’t any data storage devices attached to the computer. Eventually we found it was deleted from the site and from what it seemed the internet. We did not give up we found eventually we were able to find its deleted file something not easy to accomplish. We had the video but it was in an MD6 encryption. I didn't understand what that meant. Tom explained to me that it was unhackable and that no hacker on the planet has ever successfully broke an MD6 encryption it’s just too complex and too big. We gave up and never spoke of it again for fear of depression.

As Luke lies in the grass staring at the sky he takes the flash-drive out of his pocket and holds it up to the sky and thinks. I once had a dream to help others like me... maybe it's time continue that dream.

Haru had been at the school for awhile now just enjoying himself and with Rhyme of course Haru at the moment a peared to be in a purple corset with some deep puples and blue make up is the dress was blue and had long laced sleeves. His hair looked like it was just past his shoulders and was blond, it would have been hard to tell that he was a boy or even that it was him if people didn’t know that he keep some things always like the shape of his eye and color he normally didn’t mess with his skin tone and so on and so forth.

Haru moved along the forest enjoying the peace and quite form the school for wile and he hadn’t been to this part of the school yet so he figured why not. The scene was quite and nice as he stepped threw the forest barley making a sound not wanting to disturb the world around him.
That was until Haru stepped into the clearing where Luke was Haru smiled at the boy seeing him holding a flash drive “All the trees around you and you are thinking about tec I find that hard to believe” Haru had trained his voice so he sounded a lot like a girl as

Luke was staring up at the flash-drive, as he reflected and both the past and future of his actions. He was deep in thought, should I go to the head of the school the X-men? I don't even know much about the X-men or the school, maybe I could search for a techno-phile? Oh wait or was that a techno-path... how could I get those mixed up? “All the trees around you and you are thinking about tec I find that hard to believe” This came out of nowhere, and in Luke's defense, as he would have put it was "very startling" Jesus as Luke jumped in abrupt surprise, dropping the flash-drive before quickly picking it back up and putting it away in his pocket. Before him was a strange woman in a purple corset and blue dress she seemed very lovely but in a way her appearance was off-putting, and strange. I mean who wears a blue dress in the woods she could be foreigner or something but she doesn't look like it this place does attract a lot of strange people or maybe it could even be power related like spawning clothes or either way it was best to respond before she he was a mute. Well its more than tech that's on my mind the trees are very cool and relaxing though.

Haru rested himself against a tree and looked at the boy as he seemed shocked that some one was there Haru smiled and giggled a little bit. “No I’m not Jesus” He knew that, that not what he meant but it was fine to tease the boy or give him a bit of a hard time it was just something to get the conversation moving the kid seemed to be lost in thought anyway “I’m Haru by the way”

Haru watched the kid weighting for him to say something, again he seemed kinda well how you put it off in his own world when he did respond he smiled and nodded “Mind if I ask then what is on your mind you seem to be well thinking about a lot of things or is it just normal for you to stare at someone with a blank look on your cute little face of yours and yes the trees are relaxing one reason why I’m out hear” he smiled at him.

Haru guessed that if he really wanted to know what was on the kids mind he could of justed used his other power but Haru hated getting in people head with out there permission or unless there was a really good reason to do it and knowing what the kid was thinking right now really wasn’t a good reason.

“Mind if I ask then what is on your mind you seem to be well thinking about a lot of things or is it just normal for you to stare at someone with a blank look on your cute little face of yours and yes the trees are relaxing one reason why I’m out hear” Wait did she just say he had a cute little face? She's mocking me isn't she... Luke smiled my face isn't cute it's just generally handsome and charming Luke said jokingly trying to make the straightest face he could. Luke then sat down next to her while looking up to the trees to answer her question. He got serious hoping he wouldn't sound stupid. Luke needed someone to talk too but he couldn't just tell the girl about the concentration camps straight out, it would be weird and freak her out. Just thinking about... Hitler you know just what if we did something about him earlier what would the world be like today... Wow that probably sounds really stupid to you when i say that out loud...

“Of coarse its handsome but…I’m a bit older then you” Haru smiled “And I have a boyfriend can’t really be calling other boys charming now can I” he smiled and watched as he sat down next to him Haru did the same keeping space between the two of them .

When he said he was thinking about Hitler and what if he was stopped before he did Haru looked up at the tree and pondered that for a second before looking back at Luke “It would be interesting you know to find out about if you could stop him but you have to realize that at that time a lot of people hated the jews and most of Germany did not know what was going on…someone would of token his place a lot of people hated the jews and they had for years they where easy to blame even if they didn’t do anything wrong….So how would things be today...I can see a few ideas coming form this one…the hole world hates jews the problem never got fixed the world never saw what they where doing was wrong or nothing whould happen people still not like jews but they wouldn’t of gotten hurt” Haru paused knowing that what he was saying was not what the kid was wanting to hear but as bad as Hitler was for the world he did in a way made people view them different then before.

Haru smiled at the kid “but that’s in the past my I ask why Hitler of all people this for a History paper or something.

Luke Felt embarrassed, she had a boyfriend... what a disappointment. She was just calling him cute playfully messing with him. Still what's with the dress. Luke didn't want to worry her. But still he needed someone to talk too. He had kept the issue quiet for a number of years but was unable to ignore it any longer and needed someone to bounce ideas and confide in so he could figure out what too do about it.

Luke thought about how to approach the issue using another world war two bit saying it was on a history paper... But it's summer and he's a junior he hasn't even been too class yet she would definitely figure it out. No i just find it to be a simile to what is going on too what's occurring in modern day society. People discriminate against Mutants and treat them much like the general public treated the Jews. General discrimination who knows what people could be doing to the Mutants behind the scenes. I'm just wondering what would people do if they knew the terrible things that happen behind the scenes... Luke was quiet for a moment what's with the dress?

Haru sat next to the boy and looked up as he spoke, about world war two the jews and how it compared to what the world was going on now, it was upsetting to think about that Haru new that people didn’t really love mutants they where scared of them much like the jews and the hate for mutants had only grown he only hoped that it wouldn’t be as bad as what happened to the Jews or World war 3 didn’t need to break out inorder for people to know we where just human like everyone else.

“It is horrible what happened and is similar then now but we can only hope it doesn’t get as bad Haru” smiled “And if it does get that bad I know a lot of people who not put up with that. It may not be the thing we want to happen but it may be the thing that needs to happen…but I wouldn’t worry this school you go to hear is a wonderful place and well keep you safe from anyone out there who might want to hurt you”

Haru sat there and turned to look at the boy he looked like he was pondering something when he finally said what he was thinking Haru laughed he wanted to know what was with the dress, Haru new the kid was form the school or at lest that he was a friend of the school so powers would not freak him out any but Harus “fashion” cosie was a bit more who he was then others because haru really had to think about his outfit and how he looked as his power if it wasn’t for that he’d just be walking around in a shirt and pants all the time no long hair nothing special about it and not himself.

“It’s a illusion if you touch it you can feel its not really there, I can dress and look anyway on want but I feel comfortable when I’m dressed like this, if the colors or cut bothers you I can change it to what you prefer”

Haru... she seems to be off in her own world unaware of what's going on she seems happier this way i can't just take that away from her. She seems really optimistic as a person. Yeah I suppose but this situation with mutants at this point in time with the election coming up will only get worse before it get's better. I suppose were safe here but i don't feel happy knowing there are others outside who are not and day by day are continuously suppressed and ridiculed by their peers. living in fear The girl then mentioned her dress to which he responded. saying it was her illusion powers and that she's not really wearing those clothes... wait what is she wearing then? I hope it's she's not just going around in her underwear or pajamas because that just be weird. I hope is something decent like jeans and a shirt... you know i think i totally lost all attraction when she suddenly said that she had a boyfriend. I'm losing my train of though here focus focus. wait what...what are you actually wearing right now.

He looked at Luke when he spoke about the election “O I’ve never been one to care about politics, you see I’ve been actually living in Japan for the last little wile but yes I know that with the men who are running I don’t agree with anything they say. We just have to hope the contusion keeps us safe for a wile if not I’m moving to Japan” the fact that he said that he didn’t like the fact that outside the school there where others getting ridiculed for being who they where Haru nodded, he understood that to much the feeling that people would make fun of you for the way you acted or for what you did.

“When I was in Tokyo I found lots of mutants that never meet another mutant they where scared but most of them lived I would tell them about the school and most didn’t believe me a school that was a home for mutant some came, some stayed in Tokyo for reasons being either family or they just didn’t know how they could get out of the country. But I wouldn’t Luke you see the people out there who don’t have anyone, they may not have a school but that’s why the school keeps there doors open and they always will be for any student And if it helps every time I find someone alone I will keep pointing them hear at the school.”

Haru giggled again when he asked what he was wearing “just a plane t-shirt and some jeans” he smiled “don’t worry I’m not running around in the nude what if my power just stopped working suddenly now that would be embarrassing, No I use to where dresses actually but they always would tear and they where a pain in fights so I just moved to illusion dresses when my power got good enough now what about you”

The constitution keeping us safe? If i came too that i feel it wouldn't be much protection. The government probably only obeys the constitution on it's surface and not even then they arrested Al Capone for tax fraud. So they'll find something on us, granted Al Capone was a major criminal, but we are viewed the same way. Yeah i suppose that we have to hope for best. Luke said in a mildly depressed voice.

Wow that seems... really sad. But like you said some of your friends couldn't get here. Things like that make me feel like bringing another mutant to the school and providing a home for them isn't enough. I just feel like there is more we can do to help other mutants you know? not just the ones we know, but all of them.

Oh that's a relief it's I was hoping you weren't running around naked because that would be weird, it's just that dress throws me off... I am totally not a pervert... Luke said jokingly Anyway I'm getting hungry wanna go grab something to eat? Luke stood up and smiled trying to lighten the mood he held out his hand to help her up.

“yea…” Haru said with a small found remembering some of the people he left behind “But you do what you can even for them just knowing that someone cares is enough sometimes even if it doesn’t feel like it”

Haru laughed when he said he hoped that the wasn’t running around in his under where as easy as that would be for Haru he liked something on to keep him warm and he didn’t really love feeling the wind blow on him all the time.

“Would something like this suit you better” All at once the dress seemed to turn in to pink shirt with some purple leggings a purple top with a jacket and then some small fingerless gloves that where black on. His hair turned form blond to a dark brown and curly he also looked slightly younger. He smiled at the boy took his hand and stood up when he said to get something to eat “O yea I’m staving come on lets go”

Haru stepped forward walking with Luke before turning and looking at Luke with a smile “So where to, you want to get some free food in the kitchen at the school or do you want to go somewhere fun”. Haru didn’t mind
