With summer drawing near and end Alex wanted to do something fun it wasn’t going to be long tell she was going to have to go to class and then she’d be sitting there trying not to fall asleep Alex sat in her room for a long time trying to think what to do when the idea came to go swimming there was a huge swim pool at the school she could go there.
Alex changed into her bright pink bikini and pulled some shorts over it and brought a towel with her. Once at the pool she smiled looking around it wasn’t to full today most people thinking if they where going to go swimming why not go to the beach and with classes not going on no one was heavily training in there. Alex set her towel on one of the chairs next to the pool and slipped her shorts off that where over her bottom part of her bikini along with her shoes.
She then walked over to the end of the pool and tested the water with her toe to see how cold it was then smiled, it was perfect she jumped right into the water making a huge splash as she did that got anyone who was to close wet.

Alucard was swimming in the pool since it was so hot outside. He needed to keep in shape and build up his endurance. Swimming was a great way to do both at once, plus it promoted a better circulatory system. He also enjoyed swimming as well as being good at it. He was glad how empty the pool was today. There were so few people here that he didn't have to worry about bumping into someone and ignoring them. He finished up his last set and had made his way into shallow water to rest up before he started to swim for fun when someone splashed water on him. He looked over to see who it was and saw an asian girl around his age had done it. He would have normally just ignored what she did and gone on his business, but he recognized her. She was that girl everyone was gossiping about and secluding from the rest of them. He wasn't a sociable person and he almost never started a conversation with someone he didn't know, but he felt sorry for her since she had is so rough. He walked over to her.
" Excuse me, but might you want some company? I can't promise I will be much for conversation, but it is nice knowing you can." Alucard said to her in a voice that he thought was friendly, but others might have thought was just neutral. " So what do you say?"

Luke was about to go swimming in his white swim trunks, it was a nice day too go out for a swim, he needed time to relax as well. Oh man I can't believe theirs a swimming pool here why don't people come here more often. *daydreams Mutant boy: Cannonball!!! The pool suddenly freezes along with everyone in the water.* Nahhh.
Luke went over too jump into the water. While running he spotted a girl jumping in the water and splashed in the face. Luke eyes became soaked in chlorine water, the floor below him became wet. Unable to see and be coordinated Luke did a half somersault into the water. Landing on his head. a few seconds later Luke resurfaced and sat down on the edge of the pool Owww cough cough not the best way too start off a swim. Luke suddenly looked upon the girl who had jumped in. Luke looked over at her, trying not to look upset about it, he wasn't. Calm down she just didn't notice you is all nothing to be upset about. He saw a man hitting on her as well... cough cough hello... So how's it going....

After jumping the water Alex popped her head out of the water looking around again she was about to start floating on her back when a boy around her age came up to her and started talking Alex was shocked that someone had started talking to her they must of not known about what was going around the school right now about her. “Yea nice to meat you I’m Al…”
Alex eyes moved over to where she saw another boy fall into the pool “O my god” she kept her eye on over there just incase the guy was hurt or anything when he popped back up and swam toward him and the other guy Alex smiled like nothing had happed “Hi! I’m good how about you, I liked your dive into the pool by the way”
She smiled at the two boys seeing who would talk before she jumped realizing something “O I’m Alex by the way or Alexandra most people call me Alex tough and whats your names I don’t think I’ve seen either of you before but I’m lost in my own little world most the time ” she giggled a little smiling at the boys

Alucard glanced over at the guy who had more or less fallen into the pool. He wasn't sure what this guy was up to or thinking when he had fallen into the pool, but he had swam up to them and his attention seemed to be focus on the girl. He was fine with that since he was planning on ignore him as much as he could anyways. The girl had introduced herself and her name was Alex. She seemed to be pleased that people had walked up and talked to her. He looked at her for a moment and decided it was best if he leave them alone. They both seemed like they were talkers and Alucard wasn't so it would just make things awkward if he just stood there silently. He looked Alex in the eyes.
" I'm Alucard and it is a pleasure to meet you Alex. It seems you don't need me to keep you company now so I'll leave you two alone." Alucard said to Alex with a slight bow. " I hope you two enjoy yourselves."
Alucard turned and got out of the pool and headed over to one of the seats that didn't have anyone else sitting near it to rest before he just swam for fun. As he left, a few of the other students had swam together not far from Alex and Luke and started talking to each other in voices loud enough for them to hear, but not loud enough for Alucard to.
" It is that guy, you know the one who is always by himself and reading. I heard he never has started a conversation with someone and he always ignores people when they try to talk to him. I didn't know he could even talk, but he just started up a conversation with someone." a girl in a pink and white swim suit said. " What do you think, weird right?"
" Ya thats really weird. I also heard his power is the ability to control blood. Thats so creepy. Oh and there is a new rumor going around that he is apart of the Nightshade family. He never tells anyone his last name and the rumor isn't very well known, but still, it's no wonder no one ever has anything to do with him." a girl in a blue and green swimsuit replied to the girl in pink. " Oh my gosh I had an idea! What if he knows about the rumors about that girl he was talking to and starting talking to her so she wouldn't feel lonely? But that can't be right, I mean why would he do something like that right?"
The two girls swam off talking about the rumors some more.

Hey Alex so how is it going. Yeah I suppose it was a nice dive completely intentional. Coordination aside how are you doing Alex. The pale mutant who was flirting with her had swum away and introduced himself as Alucard, before he promptly "left us two alone"... Wait that was Alucard man how did I not recognize him. It was probably the chlorine in the eyes. But what does he mean leave us two alone? ohhhh...
Luke turned his head back toward Alex. Suddenly feeling nervous. So you o.k. I didn't splash you or anything, not that I'm trying to be sarcastic or anything, I'm totally cool with the splashing thing from before, I've never been splashed by a cute girl before, no wait I didn't mean to call you cute. Not that your not cute or anything, how can Asians not be cute, wow that sounds kind of weird I'm sorry it's just the vampire made me nervous, and i tend to ramble when I get nervous. Oh God I mean gosh uhhhhh. Luke turned and put his head in his hands. ohh man I really screwed that up, dang Vampire, making me all nervous.

Alex smiled at him the boy was funny and cute she was trying hard not to giggle at him seeing he was having a hard enough time already “I’m o.k” she smiled “and what was your name again”
Alex smiled as the other boy left giving him huge wave “See Ya Alucard around o.k” before turning back to the boy who started rambling O Alex was having the hardest time not laughing was this what she sounded like all the time when he stopped Alex was smiling brightly at the guy.
She had blushed deeply when he called her cute“ Yea he seems like a nice guy but I can understand if he makes you nervous but don’t worry there nothing to be nervous about I won’t bite you” she giggled “And the rambling if fine I like it when people talk and its cute anyway you should do it more, Also I’m sorry about the hole splashing thing and if you didn’t mean to call me cute then what” she smiled at him giggling he was cute that all she new she wondered if she could get him to blush like she was right now.

Alucard had sat down into the chair to relax and glanced over at the two he had just left. The two seemed to be having fun talking with each other. He was glad he left them alone, he wouldn't be much company since he didn't like talking that much with people he didn't know. He kind of wish he hadn't approached that girl Alex though now, she didn't even need him to say anything to her or to keep her company after all. He rarely approached anyone so was awkward for him anyways. He wasn't good at socializing with strangers. That could have been due to his family, actually had a lot to do with his family, so he never did make friends and ended up reading books all the time. He wish he had one with him right now as well.
Alucard closed his eyes and just relaxed in his chair. He was more worn out then he thought after all of that intense swimming. He didn't pay any attention to everyone who passed by him. No one came near him though either, they would always take the long way around the pool whenever they saw him and they always glanced at him and looked like they weren't saying nice things. He was use to it and just ignored it like he always did though. They were just the mindless sheep of the school after all.

Luke noticed Alucard but only slightly the thoughts of him were at the back of his mind right now. Not enough for him to go out of his way for him at that moment. No now he was in his own world he screwed up and things were working out for him. Luke had mostly calmed down.My name is Luke, Luke Adler
Luke turned back slightly blushed twitching his thumbs, before turning his head away again. okay calm down, just be yourself. This going way better than it usually did back in private school. *flashback*
Luke: Hello Girl: ugh I have a boy friend *slaps Luke in face* Luke:oww whyyy?!? I haven't even hit on anyone before... *flashback over*
Luke was in his own world he didn't know to act around cute girls in a situation like this. Should I ask her out? Or would it be too early for that she called me cute... but what if she was lying. What if she thinks I'm ugly and is trying to cheer me up. No don't be silly so how are you gonna ask her out? Girls like subtlety right? Will you go out with me?

Alex watch out the corner of her eye Alucard and some of the girls who where looking at him and whispering but she smiled at Luke when he said his name, aww Luke was a cute name, She beamed up at him “O Luke that’s a good name I like it” she giggled a little.
When he asked if she’d go out with him Alex stood well floated there kinda just staring if she was blushing before it was now as bright as her swimsuit “WHAT!!! Your kidding me right I mean no one ever ask me out, I mean its not like I’m really pretty or anything and we just meet and o my god, that so cool I mean your not kidding right pealse tell me your not kidding cause this would like make my day no not day Life yes I would go out with you if you wanted to” she was squeaking being all happy.
Quickly tought she turned before Luke could say anything and ran over to Alucard not careing about the wet floor “O my god Alucard Luke just asked me out can you believe it” she gave him a hug “you’re my good luck charm or should I saw Luke carm ” she giggled again at her own joke jumping around a little.

Alucard was resting with his eyes shut just feeling the warmth of the sun heating up his body. He wasn't paying attention to anything that was going on and didn't care since he was enjoying the way he felt at the moment. He heard some footsteps coming towards him and he reluctantly opened up his eyes to see what was going on. He had expected it to be one of the sheep of the school running around the pool like one of them always seemed to do, but he was a little surprised to see it was Alex. She told him that Luke had just asked her out and that he was some kind of good luck charm for her. He was going to ignore her so she could go enjoy herself with her new boyfriend, but she had hugged him. He wasn't sure why she was hugging him instead of that guy Luke. He looked at her for a moment and decided it was best he share some of his thoughts with her.
" That is great to hear and all, but don't you think you are being kind of hasty and rushing into something? You two don't know each other right? Maybe it would be better if you didn't date him until you two know each other better. I mean you even ran over here and gave me a hug instead of hugging him. I just think your excited and need to calm down before you get yourself into something that might come back on you later." Alucard said to her in his usual way that showed no signs of how he felt. " Why not just sit down here with me and think it over before you do anything."
Alucard realized he had just told her to sit next to him after he had finished talking. He wish he hadn't, but he wasn't about to tell her she couldn't after he had just told her she could. She might be quiet though if she was going to think it over.

Luke looked over at Alex Oh my gosh she said yes so what do I do now? Do we leave now, or do I plan a certain time? I'll figure that out after I calm down. She seems really excited and happy to, I wonder why no one has ever asked her out before? He leans back and sighs happily as she runs toward Alucard.
Luke could not help but to hear what he said to her. That son of a Bitch, how the crap can he do that to us, were both excited about going out with each other, and he straight up tells her not to go out with me yet? Then he hits on her? What kind of jerk does something like that. Man for once things go my way and then Mister hotshot, reader who's too good to ask for help on his family problems, and refuses to listen to others and even yells at Beast, has to go and ruin it!!! What a douche-bag, I'm not gonna take this from him. I don't know what I'll do if Alex agrees with him. Luke went too the edge of the pool waiting for Alex's response trying to hide his anger.

Alex looked at Alucard, and blinked a few times he just told her not to date Luke but why Alex liked rushing into things all the time yea it got her in turbule but also she had lots of fun doing it, he looked at him in worry tough when he said to get your self in to something that might come back on you latter, he knew about him and Night didn’t he that’s the only reason anyone would say something like that but that was all behind her and Night told her that she should find someone.
Instead of sitting next to him tough Alex when and sat at the end of the pool with her legs in the water so she was in-between both boys she looked at Luke she didn’t look happy at all with what Alucard had said and it was only one date what was the worst that could happen.
“I don’t know…its just a date it will be fun won’t it” she swung her legs a bit in the water looking down at them before she looked back at Luke “what do you think…we wont rush to far will we” her eyes almost pleading with him to know what he was thinking

Alucard watched her head over to the pool side after he had told her what she needed to do. He had actually told someone what he thought they should do and they didn't seem to even listen to him. She did listen to him, she just didn't take what he had said to heart. He wasn't sure what to think about that. He didn't care that she didn't because it was her choice, but he also felt somewhat hurt that when he had finally told someone something they didn't seem to care too much. He knew he was just feeling hurt for no reason. He stood up and walked over to the pool by Alex. He got in and look at her.
" I forgot to mention this earlier as well, you think this is just a single date, but does he see it that way? You need to find that out before you do anything and remember everything else I told you. If you need me pink lamb, I will be swimming." Alucard said to her.
Alucard turned around and had swam away quickly before either her or Luke could say anything. He just swam around in the water randomly as he just enjoyed swimming to swim.

Luke tried to ignore Alucard's actions and marked them mentally as weird and possibly caring, but he still felt him as a douche-bag.
Luke calmed down and swam towards Alex, with a serious and charming face. His intelligence and focus was resurfacing, as it did whenever he felt he needed it. Look Alex I heard what he said and how about we just go on a date and get to know each other if it works out then ,we continue dating. It's your decision though.
Luke looked over at the man swimming randomly in all directions.Luke thought about it for a minute. Teenager's do this kind of thing all the time. Not me in particular, but I've been around the block more than once to know that this kind of thing is not something people his age make a fuss about. If anything it's all the family stress getting to him, whether he knows it or not. I know a good man when I see one but this guy has some issues to work on, and he can't just keep relying on himself.
Luke was full of understanding of the psychology and social dynamic, it was actually part of his nature, just not he liked to use and show off. In all honesty though, I think Alucard's making a big fuss over nothing. It's your decision.
