Hanging around the Food Court (Stella, Open)

Eli was walking around the mall, looking for stores he could apply to for work. He was wearing a skate sweatshirt, a nice t-shirt, jeans and skate shoes and had his Skateboard with him under his arm. After a few hours of filling out applications and looking around some stores, he stopped and headed to the food court, to get some food. Once he got to the food court he looked around to see what he wanted to get for food. He decided to get some Mexican food and went and got a couple of tacos and a drink. He then went over to a table and sat down and started to eat. He one of the tacos and half his drink. After that he looked around again, and he saw a cute girl with long blue hair sitting a few tables over. He smiled a little and got up and fixed his clothes and grabbed his skateboard and walked over to her table. He smiled at her and when he got to her table, he sat down at the table next to her and put his board on the table. He then turned to her and smiled and said "Hey, im Eli Buck and im new to New York." He put out his hand for a shake.

Stella sat in the food court with a fruit smoothie that she had gotten just a few moments ago. She was in a bright orange top that was somewhat see threw with a light gray tank under just to cover really she had in all her sets or ear rings and a few necklaces mostly Orange and blue she wore some dark gray Jegging and some bright blue converses with silver stars on them She had just gotten her Hair done….again so it was a bright Neon Blue.

She had been window shopping most of the day and hadn’t got anything mostly because she couldn’t afford anything she was playing with her straw when a guy sat down at the table next to her she didn’t take any notice at first but when he started to talk to her she looked at him and smiled.

“Hey I’m Stella Booth” she looked him quickly up and down he wasn’t bad looking she gladly shaked his hand back and “Well Eli if you ever need help finding your way around the city I'm hear, I come to the city enough I know my way around just as much as someone who lives hear” that was if she felt like it and with Stella her mood could change at any moment to weather she felt like it or not

Eli smiled at her and listened and nodded his head a little and said "Yea i'd like that." He said as he smiled as he moved from the seat at the table next to her to the seat across from her at her own table. "So you say that your not from here, but you come here a lot? So that means your form at least close by." He smirked a little. "So whereabouts exactly are you from, Stella?" He said smiling a little. "By the way, thats a gorgeous name, suites you very well." He smiled at her again and then looked around the food court a little. "So what brings you here today, if you dont mind me asking?" He said as he grabbed his board form the other table and placed it by his foot, and then placed his right foot on it and rolled it back and forth a little bit. He the looked at Stell again and said "Hey, since im new to New York, would you mind showing me around the town a little bit? That is, if you have the time for it, i dont wanna be a bother to you if you dont feel like doing it."

When he sat at the table across from her she just smiled just to be nice. But when he asked about where she lived her smiled disappeared she was not to open to people that she didn’t have a home she’d learned how to survive and look like a somewhat normal teen girl or at less not a homeless chided. She smiled back at him and places a finger over her mouth.

“Well you see that for me to worry about not you cutie” she gave him a small wink if she chould get free room and board form this guy for the night that would give her a reason to talk to him a bit longer.

“really?” she giggled “You think my name suites me and you just met me” he was flirting he may of not known it but Stella had hade so many guys flirt with her that she knew that they normally just didn’t go around saying that peoples names where gorgeous.

With why she was hear that one she was going to be more then blunt with him about that “I was window shopping” she said with a sigh “then I figured why I was hear might as well find some lunch what about you what bring you to the mall”

Stella looked him up and down again thinking about weather she wanted to take him out around newyork he was cute and well he was being nice to her, she also had nothing to do that day and wasn’t planning on being anywhere and if he turned out to be lame she’d just find some reason to leave. But she kinda wanted to tease him a little bit before.

“What, you want me to take you around now why would you want that” she smiled at him

Eli smirked a bit when she didnt tell him where, she was from. "Fair enough, we just met, so i respect your decision to not tell me." He then laughed a bit and said "Well yea it suites you, i may have just met you, but i can already tell, Stella is a unique name and your a unique person, because you have awesome colored hair and you talk to someone out of the blue you just met, and i like that." He smiled at her a bit. "Well im here, because im looking for a job. You see i just moved into this place called the Xavier Institute, its for people who are different in certain ways." He said, not wanting to spill the beans about him being a mutant, he didnt wanna scare her off, because he thought she was really cute, and wanted her to be his first new friend here in New York. "And while im staying there at the Institute, i decided to get a job, so i could have a income, and i thought, whats a better place to start off looking for a job, then a place where everyone is, the mall. am i right?" He said smirking at her a bit. "You dont have to show me around, i only asked because id like to see what else there is around here and id also like to chat with you some more, if you dont mind." He smiled at her again and kept rolling his skateboard with his right lag, under the table.

She giggled a little when he said she was unique, She liked it when people taught she was different that’s why she always died her hair all the time so she’d stand out so after the party or what ever people would remember something about her even if it only was the chick with the Blue or what ever color it was that week. “Well Eli isn’t really a normal name either”

She raised a brow when he said she was looking for a job looking him up and down where was he applying the skate shop he looked like the guys you ran into at the skate shop at lest. But she stopped thinking about that when he said that he went to Xaviers her eyes widened a bit but then sortly went back to the same look she was giving him before., Most people wouldn’t of hurd of the school but she had mostly because of her cushion being part of the brotherhood and her living there for a few years when she was little before she finally left. A small smirk formed on her face if he was form the school he was a mutant as well she wasn’t going to tell him that she knew she was going to waight tell he figured it out for him self.

She stood up after he said he didn’t have to take her finshed off her drink and looked at him, “Well I’d have to make sure im free” she pulled out her phone making it look like she was checking something then she smiled back at him “I can fit you in have anywhere in mind you want to go”

Eli smirked a little and laughed "You're right about that. Eli isnt a normal name, but it used to be back in the day." He laughed a bit more. He then noticed her go wide-eye a little when he said the Xavier Institute, he thought maybe she knew about the place, and what it was built for, or maybe she was from there, but he just ignored it for now, and focused on watching her. He then smirked as she looked at her phone and smiled as he stood up and grabbed his board and held it under his arm. "Anywhere is fine with me, your the one showing me around, so you get to tell me where the hot spots are around this town." He laughed a bit as he smiled at her. "So, travel guide, where are you going to take us first?" He then pushed in his chair and turned around and aid in a funny movie voice "The Adventures of Stella and Eli take New York!" He said jokingly and smiled at her. "I dont care where we go, but i know for sure, one place you have to bring me is to a skate park." He said eagerly.

Stella giggled when he made the funny voice she was glade that he was different then Ian that’s what she’d been looking for lately anything different then Ian and even tough She had been Ian’s Tore guild he was diffent enough for her not only in looks but in personality as well.

“Lets….ummm” Stella mostly went to the late night party’s in when she was in New York then just walked around during the day if not took a cat nap sleeping off a hangover. “We’ll being that you want to go to a skate park so bad, lets go there first” She grinned at him “maybe you can show me some of your moves” she gave him a small wink grabbing her bag witch was as brightly colored as the rest of her and tooked a few steps towards the exit then looked back at him with a wicked smile “coming”

She wanted to get to know Eli a little bit before she should him the real hot spots the collage kids that she’d hang out with to party when she was feeling like crap where there where tons of drinks and everything. Eli was a skater so he might be into that type but maybe not.

They walked to the nearest skate park she knew of she was never one for really skating she didn’t have a board or anything for her wheeling around wasn’t fun she found enjoyment in…other things. There where a few guys there who where all skating she turned to Eli with a look that said ‘come on show me what you can’

Eli smirked, and smiled at her. "Alright, skate park first it is." He said following her as she started to walk towards the exit. When she turned around and asked if he was coming, he smiled and said "of course!" He then walked to her left as they headed to the skate park. When they got to the skate park, Eli smiled a bit and nodded when he was told to show what he can do. "Alright, but they dont call me the next Tony Hawk for nothing." He said with a smirk. He then placed his board on the ground and skated around a bit. He then grinded a rail and transfered into a Anti-Casper Slide. He then grinded again and then skated to a wall, and wall grinded it. He smiled as he skated onto the quarter pipe and skated down it and turned and went back, and did a 1080, while doing a benihana, into a Indy, into a No Comply, and finishing off with a Cannonball before landing on the other side of the quarter pipe and infront of Stella. Eli breathed a little heavier then before, but smiled at her. "Sorry, i was a little rusty, havent been in a skate park in a while." He smirked a little. "So, how was that?" he asked while smiling at her.

Stella flooded her arms and watched him do some skate around at first, when he was just skateing and not doing tricks her eyes fallowed over to the other skaters she highly douted that he was as good as Tony Hawk but she was surprised when he was doing some tricks she hadn’t seen at lest at a skate park.

She jumped when he landed in front of her no expecting him to stop all of the sudden “Hey don’t scare me like that” she giggled, but a part of her was a little frustrated sneace she knew Ian had done similar things to her many times but unlike Ian, Eli was breathing heavier. Eli could get tired after physical activity She smiled at him.

“your pretty good” she smiled up at him “I could never do that at all” she giggled “but I wouldn’t mind a teacher to teach me how to use a board you know anyone who willing to teach a helpless girl who’s never skated before” she winked at him then played with her hair a little. Stella wasn’t helpless well she was when it came to a board mostly because she’d never really been on one for more then a few minutes with out falling getting upset and destroying the thing. But with a guy hear she most likely be a good little girl and not destroy the board …maybe.

Eli smirked a little, when Stella said he had scared her and laughed a little. "Sorry, i had to." He laughed again and smiled a bit. "Im only good, cuz i had put in the time to practice, most of my free time was put into either practicing skateboarding or learning a new language." He laughed a bit. "Oh i guarantee you could do some of the easy stuff." He smiled a bit and when she asked if he had known anyone who would take the time to teach her how to skateboard, he had rubbed the back of his neck and said "Well, im not the best teacher, but if you want, i could teach you a thing or two." He smiled at Stella and got off his board. He then placed it at Stella's feet and walked behind her. He then grabbed both of her sides and helped her onto the board. "Now i wont let you go until you tell me to let go." He then looked in front of her to make sure she had a clear path. "Now ill walk along behind you, holding you, while you use one of your feet to push yourself forward slowly. So tell me when your ready to start and ill follow." He smiled at her and got into position behind her, holding her carefully, but not to tight so when she moved, he was there to catch her if she fell off.

Stella stuck her tongue out at him when he said he just couldn’t help it, She personally liked it normally when guys snuck up and made her jump so she didn’t really mind at all and it seemed to make him smile

She squeaked when he helped her on to the board but gave a smile back at him. She loved being in phycail contacted like this even if it was innocent she was glade that he was going to be teaching her a thing or two.

She nodded when he said that he wouldn’t let go and lessoned carefully as he spoke about what she needed to do in order for the board to move she nodded again then looked at the cement that was ahead of her if she feel and he didn’t catch her she’d hit the cemet and with what little she had Stella did care about her close a lot and didn’t plane on getting them ruined to day. She looked at him almost glaring with a look that plainly stated that if he ever let her fall he would pay dearly. And she wasn’t kidding either she would she had tried to kill a guy for making someone else spill something on her shirt when she was in a bad mood. She was still rather pissed about that she just couldn’t find the guy anymore.

“What if I don’t want you to let go” she gave a small smirked to him.

She stood there for a moment and then nodded her head “K, lets do this” She slowly to her foot and kicked off a little feeling the wheels of the board move under her she looked back at Eli and smiled very prod that she had not fallen yet

Eli looked back as Stella had glared at him. He gave her a kinda serious look and said "Dont worry, i would never let you fall." He then smiled at her and laughed a bit, when she said, she didnt want him to let go. "Well then if you dont want me to let go, then i wont, ill just keep holding onto you like this." He smiled at her some more and jokingly tickled her sides, playing around with her. He then placed his hands back where they were on her sides before. He then waited till Stella told him, that she was ready to start learning. When she said to start, he nodded and said "Alright, here we go!" He then watched her kick off good and smiled, and slowly moved behind her with each movement forward as she did. Keeping his hands by her sides, making sure she wouldnt fall at all. When she looked back and smiled at him, he smiled back at her and rubbed her side a little in approvement and said "You're doing really good, at this. You'll be a natural in no time flat." He said smiling at her. He then smirked when he held onto her tighter, and started to run, pushing her along.

She giggled when he ticked she was glade that Eli was there because she was not sure how well she stay on the board with out him there she was still smiling but then gave him a lot like if you dare tickle me again why we are moving then your in trouble she broke the look and smiled back at him. As they went on she closed her eyes a little when he rubbed her side and gave a bigger smile when he said that she was doing good “Well, maybe it just cause I have a good teacher”

She yelped when he started running and tensed up she at first she grabbed his hands and dug her fingers into him closing her eyes it was an odd feeling going this fast but your feet not moving and staying on a flat service was giggling at the same time enjoying her self.

After a minute of going this fast she opened her eyes and let go of him shooting them in the air “WOOT” she beamed and looked around her and the pasting ground, She smiled at Eli she was really starting to enjoy Eli company. She liked the feeling of his arms around her even if he did like to tease her she just

Eli smiled a bit when Stella had told him that he was a good teacher. "You really think im a good teacher?" He said with a smile on his face. No one had ever called him a teacher before, he kinda liked it. "Well thanks, no one ever called me that before." He smiled some more at her. He then kept running with her on the board in front of her. He then jumped on the board with her, holding Stella close to him, making sure she couldnt fall. Eli now took control and skated around the area, with Stella close to him. He rubbed her side again and smiled and said "Dont worry, your in good hands, i promise you wont get hurt." He said as he skated to the half pipe, and slowly went back and forth on it, with Stella in his arms. He laughed as he watched her face as he was doing this. He moved his arms so they were around her and both his hands interlocked on her stomach. "Get ready! We're gonna get airborne." He laughed a bit and went down one half of the half-pipe and went up the other, both him and Stella in the air, they came back down, still on the board, and Eli slowed down to a stop afterwards. He then rubbed her back "You ok?" He said smiling at her and then let go of her. "How was that?" he said with a smile on.
