Victor was out on the town. Mingling with the commoners. Boots thuded lightly on the concrete below him while he ignored the crowd that would pass by him. He held his hands in his pockets per usual, he didn't need any unnecessary attention after all. That was the good thing about him, besides his size, which any pro athelete could achieve if they worked on it, the only thing that set him apart from humans was those claws and his fangs. Nothing unusual to the untrained observer. Nothing interesting to a passing cockroach of a human. The beast was getting bored and restless though.
He hated that he had to bide his time on some things. To wait until it was the proper time to strike. All he could think of was getting his revenge upon his son. Preferably to choke the very life out of him. Yes, that was the way. To watch that fear and watch how his eyes dimmed before rolling back into his skull. That was a thing of beauty. And with Graydon all over the television and newspapers, it just helped feed his rage.
He would just have to find something to preoccupy himself until he got another chance...

Gisli didn’t like New York. At all. The only reason she was here… Was because she’d just come back from her summer vacation. It wasn’t often that students went home for the summer, but it happened. And seeing as it was the only time her family really saw her, the girl was willing to spend a few weeks with them. And, as a last, end of summer, gift, they’d taken her out to lunch in New York before flying back down to Florida. Leaving Gisli in New York, with enough money to pay for a taxi to North Salem.
She’d decided to wander the city little, even though she didn’t like the place all that much. As she wandered, she spaced, not really paying attention to the world around her. Instead, she was to busy staring down at her phone, reading any texts she got and responding.
She was so distracted that… Well… She just about ran right into a man she’d rather never see ever again. She’d managed to stop a moment before running right into him from behind, as she looked up though… Seeing who it was…. She paled. Without even seeing if he noticed her, she turned and ran…

Victor had paused as he smelled something. Something familiar. Was it a mouse? He turned around to see the girl as she ran away. She remembered him, good. He took the nearest alley and moved into it. Just as quickly he scaled the building. Once he was up on the roof he moved from roof to roof. It wasn't long before he jumped down to land infront of her cutting her off from her escape. "Little mouse...it's been too long."
He chuckled as he grabbed her shirt to make sure that she couldn't get away. "You survived...impressive." Of course he hadn't assumed she would die but he gave her quite the chance to do so. "So how have you been? Did you miss me?" He grinned as he watched her squirm.
With his grip upon her shirt he pulled her deeper into an alley so that no one would see or intertupt his 'work'. He loved the look of fear in this girl's eyes, she was the most perfect definition of fear.
Now he only had to decide what he was going to do with her now, and in what order. This was going to be fun.

Gisli fled as fast as she could, running like her life depended on it. Well... Actually it did. He'd nearly killed her that first time, and if it hadn't been for Shakaku, she would have died. Now though.... If he caught her... No one would come to her rescue. She'd lie on the cold, cement ground, blood pooling around her.... Slowly dieing....
The image was enough to make her run even faster.
It wasn't enough though. There was no warning as the man dropped from the sky, landing right in front of her and effectively 'cornering' her. She moved to retreat back the way she came, but, like before, her options went from limited to none, the man insuring she wouldn't escape. To say she was scared was an understatement. She was down right terrified. Here she was, face to face with the one man she feared more then anything in the world.
Trembling, she still tried to escape. The large man though was stronger then anyone she'd ever met. He dragged her further down the alley like she weighed nothing, the girl forced to stumble along behind him. Her chance of survival had probably just gone from slim to none. "What.... What do you want..?" Her voice cracked, shaking with fear. Like before, he'd not only see the growing terror, he'd feel it himself as her power started to react to her distress. She was a 'sort of' empath after all.

"What do I want little mouse?" His hand moved up to grip her by the chin. "I want you to scream.." He couldn't help but laugh a little as he saw the horror in her eyes. She was so easy!
He had almost forgotten what her power was. And he felt it, creeping into his mind. That wash of fear invading his own mind and body. His muscles tensed and he let his claws rest against her cheek while he held her chin still. "You haven't learned anything yet have you? Fear doesn't stop an animal..it just makes them desperate." He grinned to her while those claws dug into her cheek. He didn't dig them too deeply, just enough to let the blood flow from her skin.
"So tell me...how did you managed to survive? Who rescued you?" He wanted to know if Logan knew about his little 'present' that he left on the doorstep of the mansion. He could feel his muscles starting to buckle slightly, that growing fear starting to cripple him but he strived forward. He wasn't going to let her panic bring him down. No...she would indeed scream...

Gisli's squirming stopped when he grabbed her chin, terrified. She knew far to well what those claws of his were capable of. Needless fighting could end in one of those claws poking an eye out. She wasn't stupid enough to intentionally cause harm to herself. She offered no response to what he said. What was she supposed to say, anyway? What did the anti-social say in situations like this?
Trying to calm her pounding heartbeat, the girl was making an effort to regain control. No, forcing her own emotions on him wouldn't help her situation. The events from their first.... meeting would just repeat. She had to be smart about it this time... Or at least as smart as possible. She was terrified past the point of fainting, after all! She flinched when the claws started to dig into her cheek.
"Someone.... saw..." Not quite the truth, but someone had come out and saved her. That someone specifically being Shakaku. It'd been a miracle, her fall pocket dialing his number... Speaking of her phone.... It lay only a few feet away from when he'd yanked her down the alley.
He didn't think she'd learned anything since their last encounter. Not quite true. Since her near death, the girl had been a little more cooperative about using her power, somewhat willingly training. She wasn't at the level she should be, but she wasn't quite as pathetic as that first encounter. Using her building fear, she reached out mentally. It wasn't fear he'd feel. It was pain. Agonizing pain concentrated on the hand that had claws sinking into her skin. [/bockquote]

"Someone saw? Someone saw?!" He laughed again, "And yet they did nothing to stop me? Pity." He growled as he felt her start to invade his mind more. He hated telepaths...and empaths were just as bad. "Well perhaps I will succeed in leaving you as a message. But this time as a dead one."
He started to feel that pain in his hand. It took quite a bit for him to feel such agonizing pain. Yes, pain didn't effect Victor all that easily. And it wasn't until she really forced that power at him that he let her go with a wince and a growl. She had been practicing it seemed. Before her 'attacks' were mere nusiances and now...now they were more effective.
His other hand acted quickly though and grabbed her arm. It was pulled around her to pin behind her back before rushing her forward to smack her chest first into the nearest wall of that alley. Anytime he felt her pushing at him with those emotions and sensations he pushed her into the wall more. "Give me one good reason why I should let you live Mouse. What do you think is worthy enough to have me let you go...and not mess up that pretty little face of yours."
