It was dark and with what Alex had saw she was scared to death she had to get back home to the school some how but it had been weeks of trying to live on her own in the middle of Australia she didn’t have food or money and was very lost. She didn’t know how a 16 year old girl was going to get the money for traveling across the world to back home but she had to find some way back.
Alex hair was a mess she had lost tons of weight witch on her already small body was not good. She had large red scars where Devika hell hound had gotten her shoulders her jacket was ripped along with her shirt and pants and there was dirt all over her she looked like crap and felt like it to.
The small dragon thing from Devi was very caring Alex felt it would help her start fires even if they weren’t big and it would catch things for her and try to scare away the things that scared her.
Alex was now huddled around a small fire barely able to keep wraping her arms around her the little black dragon form devika lay next to the fire sleeping its wings folded in so it looked just like a snake.
“we got to find a way home” she whispered to her self

Night Wolf was walking through the wilds of Australia after having meet up with a friend of his who had made him something. He patted his right hip and felt what his friend had made for him, it was a revolver looking gun that calling large almost wasn't good enough of a word to describe. The old man who made it for him was strange, but he was a genius at making arms and ammunition. He had the ammo the man had prepared for his new gun in a large backpack slung on his back. The gun required a custom made bullet so it could work the best it could. He had been enjoying the change of scenery since he had come here. It did not take him long to smell the scent of a fire and a person. He followed the scent until he came to the fire with a ragged and dirtily dress girl sitting next to it. He walked into the light of the fire and looked over at the girl.
" Mind if I join you?" Night asked her in a friendly way. " It is cold out here at night."
Night had not really noticed the chill in the air though despite the fact he was wearing only a light, black button-up shirt, worn jeans, and his faded leather boots. His two guns were on either hip and his two long knives hilts could be seen coming from either side of the lower part of his back. He forgot how threatening he looked at times.

Alex and the little snake thing both jumped when they herd a voice the snake thing hissed at the man and glared at it with its large yellow eyes it wasn’t to happy for one it was woken up 2ed it didn’t know this person and he was going to keep Alex safe
Alex wished that she new what the snakes name was so she chould tell it to calm down a little but she didn’t witch had made these last few days verry long , Alex looked at the man even If he was bigger and had guns and knifes straped to him Alex had sort of grown use to that sort of thing over the years. Living with Logan and many other mutants tends to get you a little less scared of the small wepons that people carry as long as they weren’t pointed at you.
“sure”
Alex said with a fake smile, he seemed friendly and something was telling her that he was an o.k person to talk to he wasn’t going to hurt her. This was the first human contacted alex had had in weeks and with him dressed so much nicer then her she felt like there was no hope she had nothing anymore and he at lest had none ripped up close and weapons.

Night Wolf looked over at the girl and then at the snake like thing. He took a sniff of the air and could tell that whatever it was, it wasn't a natural creature. The girl though looked and smelled like she was lost, but he had meet a few people who seemed like that but weren't. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he had a feeling he was about to end up helping someone again.
" I take it your lost." Night said to her in the same way he had greeted her in. " I also noticed that thing next to you isn't a natural creature, did you make it or did someone else give it to you? I also take it your a mutant like myself."
He wasn't sure how the girl would react to his questions or if she would even tell him what was going on. He was here to see if she needed help and to offer it if she did. All the signs were pointing to the fact that she did need help.
" I can help you if you need it." Night said to her. " I'm not sure why you are out here, but you don't seem to be enjoying it."

She nodded her head when he asked if she was lost well it was the best word of it she new sort of where she was she just didn’t know how to get home. It wasn’t like her powers could help Alex may have had a large rang with her power but not large enough to call for help from aouther area of the world.
When he asked about the snake thing and asked if she was a mutatent she nodded “Yea it was my friends she …”.Alex didn’t really know how to explain to someone who didn’t know her what had happened a year a events had unfolded to what happened to Devi and Tim.
“it’s a dragon…I think….but it doesn’t have legs and its full grown there I’m taking care up it tell my friends gets back” the dragon was a little less then a foot so it was hard to believe it was full grown.
Normally Alex would of been so grateful and happy jumping up and down to find a mutant but she was to tired to really care and to depressed alex leaned a little to one side like she was looking for a sholder to rest on or something.

Night Wolf saw her begin to lean over and sat down next to her so her head could rest on his shoulder. He got a closer look at her now and he could see two things: she was very tired and she was depressed. The combination of the two was a bad sign when you were out alone in the middle of nowhere. He wasn't sure what to do about her depression, but he could at least help her with how tired she was.
" I can get you out of this place for one thing." Night said to her in a comforting voice. " I'm going to take us somewhere more comfortable, so if I want you to not freak out about what I'm about to do."
He didn't give her a chance to respond before he put his arm around her waist and trailed it up her body until it was around her shoulder. He made a whistle as he did that and a large white dog covered in gray patches appeared out of the shadows, grabbed the black snake thing, and disappeared back into the shadows. Night followed the dog soon after and brought them to a hotel room. They were sitting on the bed, and Night was now breathing heavily.

Her head feel right on his shoulder when he sat down Alex tuoght of Tim for a second but the shoulder wasn’t right and she chouldn’t put her finger on what was different between the two shoulders. Alex was about to fall asleep when he spoke again saying he could get her out of hear to somewhere more comfortable Alex blinked her eyes and looked up at him but before she knew it they where sitting on a bed.
“what do you want form me” She said weekly “for the night” it wasn’t normal for adult males to take young teenage girls to apartment rooms at night…well it was normal but It wasn’t right part of alex was scared of the price she’d have to pay for this but she mostly didn’t care anymore he chould do anything to her as long as somehow she someday got to the school.
The little dragon/snake thing was not happy at all that it was just picked up for a ride and once they got to the room he got out of the things mouth and hissed spiting a small ball of fire at the dog also flying up in the air so it couldn’t get to him

Night Wolf smiled to her and patted the top of her head as he weak stood up. He got in front of her and dropped to one knee, he didn't mean to do this but as tired as he was after bringing her here it was the best he could manage so soon. He looked her in the eyes and smiled.
" How about a smile?" Night said to her as he looked her in the eyes. " Then I think you could use some rest. You can take the bed, I'll just sleep here on the floor. Oh and mind telling your little snake thing to stop provoking pup? He might think they are playing in a moment and I don't want him dropping from the ceiling to the floor while we sleep."
He could tell she was trying to do things she normally wouldn't have done. He wasn't sure if she thought he was going to take advantage of her or not, but he had never been the type of person to take advantage of another when they were so down on their luck. He would just have to ask her where she wanted to be taken in the morning.
" If you wake up before I do, feel free to wake me. You can tell me where you need to go in the morning." Night said to her as he laid down on the floor. " Good night miss, and sweet dreams."

Alex gave a small smile for the man really there was no tricks this time someone was doing something nice with out kidnapping her Alex found that hard to believe because in tecanly speaking she had been kidnapped 3 times this year.
“Snakey thingy” the snake looked at her “It’s time for bed” Alex had a sort of power behind her vosice that whould surpise most people normally and even more so when she felt this crappy. The snake did one more hiss at the dog and then flew over on to the pillow and feel asleep or at lest protened like it was asleep.
Alex sliped off her souses her feet red form walking and running this whole time. “Sweet dreams and…my names Alex” she said with a slight smile. Before slipping into the covers and falling asleep.
Sweet dreams where far form what she had and night would know, Alex lost control when she had night mares and well she was having a night mare so everyone in the room would know.
There was the sound of screaming form booth a male and a female a cold curl laugh behind the screams the pain of something large digging there claws into the shoulders and the feeling of not being able to get up. If one where to open there eyes thy’d see blood on the walls tall grass around them the room was “gone”
There was horibule smells of ash and fire mixed with burining rubber. A man appeared to be standing in the room fighting a woman and above there was someone laughing as the two fought until fianly the woman stabbed the man and it was over expect the sneene play 100’s of times over and over.

Night Wolf awakened when he heard a woman screaming thinking something was happening to the girl on the bed. He looked around the room and saw how it had changed, but it didn't take him long to realize it was an illusion. He had been around mutants who had the power to create illusions before and had seen them lose control during their sleep. This was a more powerful one, but it was also a fairly twisted one. The girl had been through a lot more then he thought it would seem. He got over to the girl and began to shake her heavily saying, " Wake up girl! Calm yourself down! It is just a nightmare! A nightmare! It isn't real!"
He kept shaking her and telling her to wake up because it was just a dream until she woke up. As soon as she was awake, night wrapped his arms around her gently and said, " It's alright now, it was just a dream."
He didn't have time to think if it was fine with the girl for him to have embraced her like this, he was only concerned with making sure she had some contact with someone and had something to cry into.

Alex woke up to someone shacking her at first he toght it was Tim when he grabed her and held her she was about ready to start crying glad to have tim back if he was there then that ment the hole last few weeks where night mares that was until she relized that this wasn’t Tim she shot back and looked at him not out of anger but she was worried she lost control again when she was sleeping and it was with someone she just ment thoughts started going back to the last time she turely lost full control in her sleep that wasn’t at she school and how her own father acted .
“Are you o.k o my god I didn’t mean to I really really didn’t please tell me your o.k it wasn’t that bad I promise, I just lost a friend its o.k it he’ll be o.k I didn’t mean to lose control I promise I won’t do it again please let me stay I didn’t mean to hurt you” Alex didn’t like to cry in front of a lot of people she rarely did at all she needed to turst them with her life know that they would risk there own life in order to save her. But tears where starting or form a little in her eyes she wasn’t going to cry she just wanted to sleep tonight in a nice warm bed was that so wrong.

Night Wolf looked her in the eyes for a moment before he hugged her again. This girl was in a lot of pain, and she seemed to be scared he was going to throw her out for something as minor as this. He wanted to help her, more so now then he had before. She needed someone to help her, and he was determined to give it to her.
" I don't care about any of that. I'm wondering if your feeling alright? What is wrong? What can I do to help?" Night said to her with a look of concern on his face. " Just ask me and I will do whatever I can to help you out. Also don't be worried about something as minor as this, I have dealt with far worse. Just calm down and cry. Crying with help you feel better."
He needed to think of what else he could do for this girl. She needed him to do something to help her with her nightmares fast. What could he do? He wish he had the ability to travel into people's dreams right now so he could help her out. What could he do for her?

Alex sat there in silace as he held her for a few minnites after he was done talking her head hiding in nights chest, she not cried about losing tim the hole time with her being alone she didn’t know that her powers where acting out. And now that she knew this was effecting people tears came streaming down her face and she started crying heavy.
“Timm!! He he he evil now we ened up in the middle of no where to gether and then” it was hard to make out anything she was saying at all “we ran into Deeevi but it wasn’t Devii she attacked tim and when she she was done Tim wasn’t Tim anymore” she new this wasn’t going to make any snene but she had to get it off her chest some how she had to talk to someone she had lost what seemed like everyone in the last year everything she had gained friendship and family wise had disappeared and she felt like she had no one anymore.
She didn’t know if there was anything that this man could do for her she really didn’t know what she needed maybe it was just a shoulder to cry on even if it wasn’t the sholder she wanted to cry on she barried her head deep in his shoulder she doughted he understood a word she had said threw the trears and the fabic but it didn’t matter she wasn’t alone right now.

Night Wolf had heard everything she had said. She had seen two people she knew and cared about fight each other. He wasn't sure exactly what she had seen, but seeing them fight had caused her a lot of pain. She needed to let the pain out though before he could do anything for her. She had let some of it out, so he had something to help her with now.
" Then you just have to get them back. If they were forced to do something, then that means whatever happened to them can be undone." Night said to her. " Right now what you need to do is be strong for them. Don't focus so much on what you couldn't do at the time, but rather, focus on what you might be able to do for them in the future. If they were turned into different people then they were before, you just have to change them back to how they were again. If you can't do it alone, ask a friend. If you don't have anymore friends, make some new ones. Right now you need to do what you can instead of being so depressed by what you can't. We have to adapt to survive, and survive to adapt. Right now you need to adapt your way of thinking to survive this pain so that you can adapt and survive again tomorrow."

Night wasn’t the only person who had told her to be strong befefore but Alex never understood what that ment. how chould alex be strong she chouldn’t left a car or hevey opjects she chouldn’t do get in a fright and win, it may of been awile snece anyone told her to be strong but she still didn’ know what that ment phsically how was an under freed under slelpet little asain girl supost to be strong.
“how..”she contiuned crying “its not like i can do anything real grate i can’t left a car or anything i’m sorry but natraly i can’t be strong”
the idea of saveing them Alex liked that idea she new it wasn’t going to happen today but she could save Tim and then everything whould go back to normal “ I wan’t to save him but i don’t know where to start.....as soon as i go back to school there going to not let me help because i’m to week and don’t have enogh training” it almost seemed like this guy truely new how she felt that she was beating her self up for not helping her friends and he didn’t seemed to lost with the hole thing when he said ask a friend she tryed thinking of her friend Rose she belived was still dead, Ian had disapeared Tim and Devi where gone she hadn’t seen Remy in mouths there where random people at the school but most whouldn’t really understand or care.
