Night time beach (open, Vampirea)

It had been a long day at work no it had been a long week at work with so much going on with the mutants and her boss wanting them to get to press before anyone else on every story and with Jamie being one of the leading writers on mutant activity it was crashing down hard.

As she drove home her windows rolled down not looking forward to really going home because she knew her lap top would taunt her and not make it so she can sleep tell she thinks of at lest one more story for the night. Now she did love her job it just when you where driving home form work at 2 in the morning and there was still a lot of work to get done seemed to add weight to Jamie shoulders she was just simi thankful that she went by pen names so she didn’t have to worry about unhappy fans at her door step when she got home.

The smell of the ocean hit Jamies noose and she looked over and saw the black see in the moon and star light it looked so comforting at the moment. She decided to park her car near the pier an go for a little time off it was the lest she can ask for.

Jamie sat on the beach setting her bag in the sand looking into the black sea and then up at the moon and stars above her they looked lovely right now she was just thankful that she had this small moment of peace even if it didn’t last long

Vampira was not busy at all. It was actually her first time away from the Institure at the night time... usually she was back around 1 am at latest but usually got home a bit earlier.
Now she was enjoying pure ,true freedom so she decided to go to the beach. She figured that nobody would be around to see her. Heck... if they saw her then she would care less. As she got there, she parked her motorcycle next to a car, and she already could hear breathing from nearby. Eh... it looks like some body already beat her to it... a woman, gudgeing from the scent.
She waled toward the edge of the water. She was wearing running shoes, black short skirt and light blue tanktop. She swayed her long black cat tail. curling it upwards ,away from the want. She folded both pairs of her arms in a confy manner and made herway to a place not far from the girl. She dat into the sand with her legs scossed and her tail curled up in her lap. She did not look at the woman... only at the nice endless water. She gently scratched her left cat ear and looked upwards towards the stars. Fer face formed a silght smile... as it was a really clear night and so relaxing.

Jamie was enjoying the peace and quite she even slipped off her heals and felt the cool sand under her feet for a wile. Jamie jumped a little when she herd someone near by her, just out of hobbit it wasn't the smartest thing in the world to be alone on the beach so curiously she looked at who whould be on the beach at this time.

What she saw surprised her there was know drought it was a mutant even in this light Jamie could tell that this person was not a human it just wasn’t normal for human to have cat ears and....a tail. Jamie had hurd of mutants that powers made it so they didn’t look normal but seeing one was something else this woman couldn't walk around with out being noticed at all. This was a rare orcoance to see a mutant like this someone who would be shunned as monster in some countries. And all that Jamie could do was stare.

It may of been weired for the girl that someone was staring at her or well Jamie was not Jamie was use to seeing mutants out but normally they where the kind that could hid among the people or they where in jail for some crime or something like that seeing a mutant that was out and not able.

She took off her coat and tossed it next to herself and then started to pile sand next to herself to make a nice sand castle. As she worked she focused on the sand but she felt that the woman's eyes where on her. She decided to finally looked into the womany's eyes with her own yellow catlike eyes.
Vampira know she was human... unterwise she would not be starting that much. She stood up and then walked over to her. She tilted her head and spoke.
" Yes... why are you... staring? " Vampira asked with a frown... her voice was getting better and took less effort to talk but it still was pretty difficult. She frowed slightly because it was really rude to stare like that. The girl could at least try to conceal it or something.
" Do we know... each other... from somewhere? " Vampira asked in a slightly lighter manner as she swayed her tail gently in a wide motion and waited the woman's asnwer. She then once again started piling the sice wet sand to make another sand castle, while waiting for ther gilr's answer. Vampira used all four of her ams and useing her speed and was progressing and a rate not possible by any human.

Jamie didn’t mean to be rude and stare but really someone like this woman was a strange sight for anyone even for other mutants unless they where around mutants all the time. Jamie sort of jumped when the womman spoke her vocie sounded verry forced it wasn’t like she had an accent but it was different then normal.

“no we don’t know eachother i i just have never seen a mutant with an mutasion that was hard to hid out in public before....even at late at night and with all the ani mutant stuff floting around i figured you’d all be underground by now making sure us humans chouldn’t find you”

Jamie watched the movements of this girl they all seemed so natural it really was apart of her. As she made the sand castle it was odd to make one at night Jamie chould hardly see out hear useing just the moon and the city lights behind her but most everything looked black to her.

“I’m Ally by the way” Jamie said smileing at the girl trying to seem nice for her she didn’t want to start on the wrong foot with this womman but she might of allready she feard

She shrugged and then smiled softly.
" It is alright... i have a slight... voice problem but... it is getting better. " She then noticed that the woman can not really see in the dark. She pulled out a mini touch from her sidebag and then with the same totion used another hand to also grab her ligher. She stuck the touch into the sand and then lit the tourch. She moved away slightly from the fire as it was reall bright for her eyes. She smiled wiedly and swayed her tail gently.
" Can you see... now? And i think you... already know that... tot every mutant... can look like a... human, some of us... have visible mutations... I hope you are... not too scared... of me? I am not evil... my name is... Vampira. Plus... i can take care... of myself agains anti... mutant hater groups." She said with some trouble towards the end as she would not speek for too long yet. Vampira extended a free hand, hopeing her talons was not too scarry for the girl.
" And do not worry... we get very... bad things from other... people, they always try... to hurt us and even... kill younger mutants... Very unfair to be honest. " Vampira spoke in a sadder tone and continued on the piing of sand and her castle was taking shape already.

When she said she had a slight voice problem Jamie just figured it was part of her mutasion so she didn’t care “O well i do hope it does get better then for you”

Jamie watched as the womman moved again her movement amazed her. Then she pulled something out and lite it it wasn’t tell then Jamie relized it was a touch Jamie blinked a few times with the sudden light. “Ummmm yea”

As she spoke Jamie nodded “I never said i was scared of you I’m just well i’m sorry but in a bit of shock is all”

“Like i said I'm Ally its nice to meat you Vampira” she said shakeing her hand when she offard the talons where a bit intemadateing but Jamie was doing her best not to act scared for the woman.

Jamie smiled drooped when Vampira said that people hurt them and the younger mutants as well “I’m truly sorry, They do it because there scared you know. And who knows maybe years form now mutants won’t have to hide they can just walk around like normal people.”

Jamie moved towards where the girl was building a sad castle and looked at it “do you need some help”
