Summer Fest: Last Day (all students must attend)

It was the last day of Summer Fest. A lot of things were going to happen. After all they had to go out with a bang right?

Well before that could happen Henry McCoy was unveiling his own booth. A booth that had been covered and unopen for the whole fest until now. He was happy to see how successful the fest had been this year. It was good to see smiling and laughing students even with what was happening outside of the school's gates. He only hoped they would be able to protect them from it.

But enough of the doom and gloom, time do something he was passionate about! Dressed in his lab coat to try and seem less intimidating to the freshman students, Henry finally hung up the sign for his booth.

In large letters it read, "Immunizations," followed by smaller letters, "All students must sign in." He figured it would be easier this way. A lot easier than tracking them all down in the hall or in classrooms to make sure all of their shots were in order. Last thing they all needed was an epidemic...especially one they could avoid. Of course he still worried about that mutant disease they kept blabbering about on the news, but he had yet to see any cases of it.

He'd allow the students to take in the meaning of his sign while he prepared his tables. He had a sign in table at the front so that he could find each students file and make sure which shots were needed. Then they could walk around to the inside of the booth to sit in a chair while he administered the medication.

Hank couldn't help being a little nervous. He hoped his idea would be a success.

Luke was getting ready for his concert, when seemingly out of nowhere... There was an Immunizations sign, it said that all of the students must sign in, Luke prayed with all his might that he did not need health insurance for this, and also for a free lollipop.

Luke waited a few minutes in line and signed in to get his shot. He could see others walking out with lollipops he rejoiced he would just have to conquer the pain of the mighty needle, and the delicious lollipop would be his, and it was all free. His prayers had come into reality. Luke sat down to get his shot, it wasn't that bad in fact Luke was excited.

After the shot was finished Luke walked out triumphantly with his gorgeous Lollipop sticking it in his mouth. Luke created a copy of himself, and Luke walked back to the stage sucking on the lollipop while the triumphant music of his copy playing the flute accompanied him. Great now hopefully my lollipop will last until the concert starts, or at least 20 minutes... Lukes concert was today, this was a nice way for him to calm the nerves before hand.

Alex was walking around enjoying the last day of summer fest she had loved how this time had gone. Nothing bad had happened or well to bad. Alex had done everything at the fest she see and enjoying it all.
She was debating what else she wanted to do when she saw a booth she hadn’t seen before Alex ran up to right when Hank was putting up the sign.

“Immm….Imun..zat…ion….Immunix…Immunixations…all students must sign up” Alex looked at the sign then looked around seeing that the students where getting shots, Alex shoke her head No she was going to have fun the last day of fest she wasn’t going to be pinned down and given a shot.

Alex then ran off skiping with a smile as if she didn’t even read the sign even if see did read it out load She saw Luke and waved at him and smiled as she tried to find something else to do she found a stand that was playing some carnival games and was giving out candy to the winners Alex jumped into one of the lines and started to jump up a little exsided that she had found something to do that didn’t involve getting shots.

[Alucard Nightshade]

Alucard was walking through the festival, glad he didn't have to run that stand anymore, when he spotted a sign. He read it over quickly. All students were to get their shots is what it had said. He wasn't sure if he applied to that or not due to his powers when he noticed Alex skipping away from the spot where students were getting their shots. She had the look of someone skipping out on getting them. As she began to pass him, since she hadn't noticed him for some reason, he moved and picked her up off the ground and began to carry her to the shot area.

" Your getting your shots Alex, and I'm making sure you get them even if you don't want to." Alucard said to her. " And if you keep squirming like this, I might end up dropping you on your butt. I'm sure you don't want your pretty bottom hurting because you wouldn't be still like you where told now would you?"

Alucard didn't really care what she said to him and just carried her all the way to the shot tent (or whatever it is that your doing it in Creed).

“Alucard!!! it’s the last day of summer fest please let me go have some fun I don’t want to sit down and get shots and a check up she shouldn’t be doing that know anyway I mean think about he could be using un clean needles you can’t say if you can trust this guy I mean what if that really isn’t Dr. M and its really just someone in a big old costume protending to be to get us all sick I mean don’t you find it odd that he’d want to do it on pretty much the very last day of freedom and fun I mean he might be trying to ruin are fun. I say we fight back we don’t let this happen I mean its summer and that’s what we are supost to do have fun be kids rule the world make cookies hmm I want a cookie Alucard lets go make cookies right now I think that will be fun or lets go to the cotton candy stand or get a hotdog or….Anything but not talk to the doctor I’ll by you a book umm one about lambs that way you can think about me when you read it and you did not just call my bum cute its hardly there its like itty bittys Alucard let me down please I just want to go play I’ll do anything to I’ll even go to the scaryest movie and keep in control for the hole movie and I I well umm not make you go dress shoping with me and um I won’t complain when you make me sit down and eat your food and umm…be a good girl please”

Alex stoped talking right when the got to the end of the tank her rant about how this was all evil was not going to fly in there very well in there she looked at Alucard and around her arms where folded arcoss her cheast and she had a pout on her face Alucard still holding her tight around the waist no matter how much she moved around.

Alucard was still carrying Alex and listened to her plea for him to put her down and to go have some fun until she was done. He wasn't about to put her down and just go run off, since she needed the shots for her health.

" Alex, I know you want to have fun, but you need these shots to stay healthy. I'll make a deal with you, if you get your shots, I'll take you to do whatever you want and all my treat. It can be anything you want it to be and you can ask me to do anything and I will do it. Also if this is not the real Dr. McCoy and some guy in a suit trying to get everyone sick, I'll give you some of my blood so you can be cured of it right away. My blood is very potent at curing people when they are sick. How does all of that sound to you?" Alucard said to Alex. " I'll even give you my word I will do all of that, and I always do what I say I will, so you don't have anything to fear since I will protect you if anything goes wrong. Oh, also your bottom is cute even if you don't think so."

Alucard just kept walking with her in his arms towards the tent to get the shots and waited for her to reply to what he had said. He meant everything he had said to her and would do whatever she asked of him.

“please please please don’t make me do this I’ll do anything please please please ummm…if you make me go in there I’ll stop eating and I’ll die and it will be your fault and I still don’t belive that he is dr. M I mean umm…His skin the wrong shade of blue and he is um…ummm..” she continued to rant until she was in the tent not even reliaing that they had entered the tent. “And he wouldn’t do this it’s a trick and I’m going to die and its all going to be your fault because you didn’t let me go out and play cause that’s really important getting fresh air and sunshine not shots I mean they went years with out giving shots to people and I’ll get them….sometime when I’m not running around doing things but I’m very bissy and you are two don’t you have that stand you run you really should let me go and really I’m not going to do this so saying you’ll do anything isn’t going to work because you make me do this I’m going to find something you won’t like maybe I’ll find a little bo peep dress for you and then I really can be your little lamb”

Alucard sat in the chair for the check up his arms tight around Alex it was pretty aparnt that the second he let go she was going to run off. Alex turned pouting and looked up at the good old doctor “HI!! So I’m not sick so I shouldn’t be hear and I think there a school rule agaist holding girls and make them come to things I mean I’m getting kidnapped hear in away that’s not good at all”

Nix had been doing very little all summer aside reading and writing and traveling, she had no home to go to any way so she saw little reason to move away from the school though so she had only really been in to the near by town and wandered around a few forests and parks for the whole six weeks off. She had been walking outside on the grounds alone again this morning when she had seen a few students walking away from a booth with one hand firmly gripped on their sholder and another with a lollipop in their mouth and nix groaned as she realised what must have been going on. She walked over towards the booth and took a place in the back of the line for the shots that she knew people must being having for some reason and didn't let herself read the sign as she knew then fear would bubble inside her and then shadows would begin to bubble outside her as well and who knew what sort of damage that could to to everyone. Once she had sighed her name on the sheet she looked up to see it would be her turn in about 3 more people but there seemed to be something going on up where the actual shots were being given

"Of course you are not sick Alexandra!" Henry smiled warmly to her as he placed his hands on her shoulders and gently led her over to the chair to sit down. "These are necessary to make sure you remain that way."

Beast busied himself with looking at her file and trying to decide which shots she actually needed. He frowned a little, this wasn't good. She must have really hated shots since there were quite a few she needed.

An idea came to mind as he fished into the pocket of his lab coat and held the lollipop candy he had been giving to each person that had a shot. "I will make you a deal my dear." He smiled to her while he still held the candy. "If you just sit here and enjoy your candy I'll make sure everything will be taken care of. And I'll even give you another one after I'm done, okay?." He winked playfully to her. He knew quite a few grown ups that were just as adverse to needles so he tried his best. Sure all of the students were pretty much teenagers but...sometimes you never grow up when it comes to candy.

Luckily for Alex he was a good stick and could easily give shots without much pain to it. It only hurt if the patient squirmed. He allowed Alucard to keep her busy while Hank prepared the shots the poor girl needed. Unfortunately he could only adminster so many shots at one time.

Alucard sat in a chair and let Mr. McCoy take Alex as he got over to them and watched as he talked to Alex. He figured from the way that the big blue man was acting, Alex had several more shots coming then he first thought she would need. He wasn't too surprised by this, she didn't seem to like taking shots too much. He watched as he handed Alex a lolipop and then went to get the shots ready. He glanced back at Alex.

" You were worrying about it being the real Mr. McCoy or not, and it is. You also got an extra lolipop, so you can't complain about the shots now." Alucard said to Alex. " Once we are done here, I owe you whatever it is you want to do and want me to do for you. Why don't you think about that while all of this is going on?"

Alucard wasn't sure what Alex was planning on doing, but he figured it was better if she was focused on the candy and what to make him do for forcing her to come here instead of the shots she was about to get. He looked back at Hank and figured he should do something while he is here to.

" Should I go ahead and get some shots to while I'm here?" Alucard asked Hank.

Alex sighed and took the lollipop “fine but I still can’t be sure you’re the real doctor I mean this is a really crazy idea and all and Alucard I’m so getting you back for this I mean this isn’t fair I can do it some other time really I mean…….like when there isn’t a big fest going on” Alex sat there and the good old doctor gave her some shots she didn’t notice most of them when she was talking but this one hit a nerve or something “OW!!”

She looked at Alucard her lower lip pouted out a little “We should do something fun after this that involes junk food and crap I vote lots of junk food” mostly she was doing this to see if she got an reactsion form Hank he was a doctor shouldn’t they not be wanting people to eat unhealthy things even the fact that she had the pieace of candy sort of proved that he didn’t care to much…so maybe this wasn’t hank. Well she was just kidding about that she didn’t think that he was fake just didn’t want to get her shots and it seemed she was getting more then everyone else at lest after this she’d be all done……hopefully and if not it be hard for Dr. M to tie her down like this again for a second time there have to be a bigger price then what ever she wanted form Alucard and 2 lollipops.

“So Alucard beside dressing you up as little bo peep what else should I do” she giggled “you did say anything”

Well at least with Alucard distracting her as well then this would be easier. Unfortunately for Alex Henry may have to find her later for the other shots she needed. The girl must have really hated needles.

With the needles prepared he carefully wound up the girl's sleeves, on both sides. Some disinfectant was then swabbed onto both arms as well. Before she knew it he had already administered three shots and had another lollipop floating infront of her eyes. "All done, see? Wasn't so bad now was it?" Hank smirked to the girl then went for Alucard's file. "As for you Alucard. Considering that your body filters contaminants at an unusual high level then I suppose there really isn't any need for a shot. But to be fair with your friend here." He winked to Alex again. "A tetnus shot would probably do you good, considering all of the things you cut yourself with."

Beast walked over to him and with the same treatment of sleeve and disinfectant, Alucard had a shot given to him as well. "All right off with the both of you. You'll hold up the line." He smiled warmly to them while he looked over the next student's file.

Alice didn't like socializing, and this whole festival she'd been conned into staying outside.... With other people... Socializing. Most people wouldn't call it 'socializing', seeing as she usually sulked behind booths, and lashed out at anyone but James that tried to bug her. Anyway, she was a little to happy about this being the last day. All these people were making her frustrated, to the point that she'd tried to attack a dozen people already, and would have succeeded if James hadn't been watching her like a hawk.

With it being the last day, she'd managed to give James the slip, in an attempt to hide back in her room or somewhere dark until the sun set. Maybe it being day was why she was so agitated. Either way, she was searching for an escape... And came across Hank's stand in the process.

Staring up at the sign, Alice's thoughts reeled. Immunizations? She slowly blinked, instantly annoyed. No. No way in hell was she going to 'check in' just so she could get shots! She wasn't even behind in them! (When you lived at the school full time, it was hard fall behind, but not impossible, as Alex had already demonstrated) Grumbling under her breath, she scurried off, refusing to even look at Mr. McCoy or his stand. By the time anyone realized she'd been there, she was already gone.
