Setting up for the 1 man food stand

Alucard was annoyed as he was setting up the sign for the stand he was going to be running by himself. He had been forced to help with this stand since the people who were originally going to run it didn't know how to speak or write in French. He wasn't sure what kind of idiots wanted to make a French food stand with the people working it actually speaking French and putting their menu in French when they couldn't understand any of it themselves. He was forced to help them because he could and then they ran off and decided to no longer do the stand because they didn't want to be around the 'vampire' anymore. He wouldn't have cared if they did since it would have gotten him out of doing this as well if it hadnt been for one thing, he had given his word he would do it and he wasn't about to go back on his word.

Alucard finished getting the sign for the stand up and stepped back to look at it. It was perfectly in place and the sign read " La Rose Simple". He had picked out the name himself since he was running this stand all by himself. He was also liking how the menus turned out. He had the french name for every dish with the english name right under it in smaller font as well as a description of the food on the menus. He planed on greeting everyone in French as well before switching over to English since he knew very few of the people would speak French. He was actually proud of how the stand was turning out, but he also knew that things were going to be troublesomely busy or he wouldn't hardly have anyone show up to see his pride and joy of the festival.

Tari’s ice-blue eyes rolled with total boredom. She gave out a loud, exaggerated sigh that basically conveyed all the feelings that she felt right then and there.

Tari did NOT want to be here.

The tasteless and rambunctious students were setting up stands and booths everywhere for the so-called “fest”. Tari had visited lavish and exotic places that had proper cultural festivals that were far superior to this school. Proper artisans practiced their craft at these proper festivals, while these punk students just set up booths for awful and inferior skills that they had to offer.

But…then she looked at it from another angle. These little small summer festivals would someday mold these young students into amazing adult mutants that would someday appeal to Tari’s sense of flawless taste.

As she walked through the set-up, a small booth caught Tari’s eye. La Rose Simple. A French restaurant booth of some kind. An odd expression formed on her face. ” La simple est levée. Ouah ... c'est intéressant. L'un de ces étudiants effectivement a goût ... She said to herself in French.

Tari picked up a menu, looking over the items that this booth had to offer. There were a couple of French mistakes that she saw, but overall…it was very interesting that one of these students decided to have a French booth in this summer fest.

Alucard had just gotten everything in the kitchen set up how he wanted it and everything was all set and ready to go aside from getting the food put away, which would have to be done on the day the festival started. He looked everything over and was rather pleased with how it was all turning out. He turned around and noticed someone was looking at his menu. It was an older woman, and it was obvious how attractive she was. Alucard just looked at her for a moment trying to decide what to do. He would have just let her look it over longer without saying anything, but he was ready to get back to his room so he could read.

" How can I help you today, ma colombe jolies?" Alucard asked her in his attempt at a friendly voice. " Also, the festival has not started yet, so I can't sell you anything right now."

Alucard wondered how this woman would reply. He had also gotten into his habit of giving people nick names that didn't mean much to them. He had called this woman ma colombe jolies, or my pretty dove. He wasn't sure if she had noticed or even knew what he had called her, but he didn't care either.
