Large Explosion Rocks infirmary Foul Play Suspected
As you are no doubt aware, the school infirmary was destroyed in a freak explosion sometime last week. The 'Official' story is that it was a mutant accident of some kind, but some of our inside sources have painted us quite a different picture of that day's events.
Investigations into what caused the explosion have been rather revealing. Though officials were unable to find the remains of any explosives they were able to find the origin of the blast.
It seems that the largest Blast came from an unoccupied hospital room, which in itself suggest foul play was involved. By crosschecking with the front desk we were able to determine that Alucard Nightshade and a unidentified unconscious girl had checked into the school and headed to the infirmary just a half an hour prior to the explosion.
Minutes later, an unidentified man who somehow did not sign the registering came in and attempted to pick up the girl claiming she was his sister. It was around this time that the Explosion occurred.
No other mutants entered the infirmary around the time of the explosion, and even stranger, no mutant with any fire related power was reported to be in the vicinity. (the theory that Freya Elensar was involved has been disproved as she was not in the building at the time of the explosion.)
Was their foul play? an assassination attempt on Poor Alucard Nightshade? Unfortunately when asked he declined to interview. Could he have been blackmailed by the Assassins?
Despite this Paper's reputation for 'tabloid' journalism, we hold the opinion that there was indeed something more to this explosion then meets the eye. There is a conspiracy afoot and at its center is Alucard Nightshade
