"That's a good thing though, that just means people aren't upset around you."
He had to admit that no matter how bad he wanted to, he didn't feel upset at all. Even though he had lots of information to go through, he couldn't help but, as she put it, feel better around her. He stood up as well, feeling his entire body tensed up. He groaned as he stretched, suddenly realizing that he hadn't lelft the seat since...when was the last time he stood up anyway? He laughed when she mentioned not wanting to test whether she can go without breathing.
"Yeah, you can have all the powers in the world, but I can garauntee you'll need air to do anything with them."
He followed her to the door, stepping a side and giving a sweeping bow in a gesture for her to go first. He was glad she had run into him at the computer lab. He didn't even realize new mutants had entered the mansion, but this person had proven that it was time for him to get out and start meeting people...again. He couldn't help but wonder if Alex had made a return then, but shrugged it off as a worry not needed.

NIx smiled a little to herself as the boy bowed for her and let her leave the room first, she looked around and checked over her sholders before turning her head back to him and nodding it, "we're good, for now at least" she said with a giggle. It was true there were some students in the school who didnt or couldnt sleep for reasons power related and so students wandering around at night wasnt really unheard of, but teacher did check to se why you were out of bed t you were unlucky enough to happen across on late at night.
Nix had been caught a few time now and after hsowing her power and showing why she couldnt sleep she was normally let off the hook but the few times she and mika or she and tain had sneaked out both of them had been sent back to their rooms. For Tain that was pointless seeing as the boy could teleport but hey, teacher can only try at these things. Nix walked slwoly up the corridor and looked back over her sholders and then nodded again ,more to herself than to her follower, and then started walking a little faster

He smiled and nodded when she gave him the ok to start heading out. Though he had to admit he felt a little like a spy sneaking around the halls at night. Then again he wasn't like the other mutants and required sleep, but with Rose in the infirmary recovering, he tended to use that as an excuse. Unfortunately that excuse would only be able to be used so far. Another nod as she continued forward a little faster. He couldn't help his curiosity.
"So why are we sneaking around like this? There haven't been many teachers walking the halls lately. Then again, there hasn't been many teachers or faculty at all lately."
That thought worried him a little. He hadn't seen any of the X-Men, or even Xavier for that matter. What was going on here? Where was everybody? His only thought was that whatever was going on was bad enough to keep the head mutants away and the professor distracted. It was at that point that he decided that being cautious was the better option then just walking around. Being caught by faculty was bad, but lately there seemed to be other dangers that managed to sneak into the mansion to capture.

Nix tilted her head to one side and rolled her bright eyes and smiled ,"the teachers like to sleep as much as the students do but they do have to come out on rounds every few hours and they will always ask you who you are and why your up" she said and then she laughed quietly ,"and if you come across any students, a fair few of them will happily dog you in if they are feeling ratty or they are in a bad mood" she said and then looked up as the walked past the main staircase to the dorms. That had happened to her a fair few times herself and she really wanted to avoid getting someone else in to trouble. Her skin prickled slightly and she heard a floor board above her creak and She lifted her head and looked up, they were stand below what would be the boys dorm and it seemed that some one had woken up and from the buzz that nix was getting at her fingertips it seemed they were up because they had had a bad dream. Nix smiled and then shook her head and flexed her fingers and then started walking towards the kitchen again

He couldn't help but chuckle at that thought. There've been many times in his younger days that a few people who didn't like him or wanted to try to get on the teacher's good side and ended up getting themselves in trouble to. What was even more funny was he would sometimes use his speed to get out of trouble, and he could only imagine the students face when he or she realized that they were the only ones standing in front of the teacher. He smiled and almost laughed at the memories, but was soon distracted by the creaking floor.
He stopped when she did, looking in the same direction, though it wasn't long before she started to walk again. He looked at her curiously, then just shrugged it off, even after she flexed her fingers. He had to admit that the more he spent time with her the more interesting her powers seemed to him. He definetly had to get out and meet any other new mutants that have shown up.

Nix walked up through the corridor and then she smiled as she stopped a pair of steel doors up ahead of her and she looked bCk over her sholder ,"I've tried a few times using my shadows to change the light around my self so that I can't be seen but it takes a lot of power from me, it's even worse for me when I disappear and then appear a few mintues later and then drop down on the floor" she said with a grin and then she walked over towards the door and pushed it open and then paused before walking through it
Nix dipped her head and then waved her hand across her self and then nodded her head in to the room ,"after you, seeing as your meant to be the responsible one" she said with a small grin and then she felt her fingers buzz again and she flexed her fingers once more. It felt like she had gotten a small electric shock and it wasn't a nasty feeling but it was one that she always reacted to no matter how hard she tried not to, but that was just something that came along side her powers

"I'm sure if you talked to a girl named Alice, you'd be able to find ways to control the shadow part. Though if you ask me she's a little...odd when it comes to her shadows."
He didn't want to get into it, but if you knew Alice well enough, you'd know how she was with her powers. There would be times when she would be just a care free girl trying to make her way through life as a mutant, then there were days where she'd be like a living doll and her shadows are the ones pulling the strings. It was those days that Ian did his best to stay as far away from her as he could. Just the thought of it caused a chill to run down his spine. When Nix gave the same bow he gave her earlier, he smiled and laughed a little before bowing himself.
"I would be delighted to accept such an offer from a lady."
He smiled and entered the room looking around before looking back at her. He nodded his head, signaling that it was ok for them to keep going. Seems like the place was pretty empty from the looks of things.
