The room is spacious, of reasonable size to house three students. In three of the four corners is a twin size, white framed bed, one for each student. If the student didn't bring sheets and a bedspread from home, a pair of plain white ones will be supplied. There are two drawers under each bed, to store belongings. Next to the beds are matching desk and chairs. Each corner is decorated however the student that occupies it wants, posters, frames photos, etc. To the left of the door is a walk in closet with three racks and three small dressers, one of each for each student. There are two sinks in the closet, one on each side, obviously meant for preparing for the day and for bed. There is no Radio in the room, but a large flat screen TV rests on the wall between the closet and door, with a nice, white leather couch under it. The TV is able to receive calls from other students rooms, and school wide announcements.

*can I claim this room for my one and only character ,nix night? Will I need to do a entry post for her? And if I want her to have a pet shall I bring her in her?*

Nix walked into her room again and looked up at the plain Walls across the room. The two empty beds across her own and looked so lonely. She walked over to her own bed with it's dark purple covers and dropped her back pack down on it, her posters of her book characters and her endless story plots above her headrest. She rolled her eyes and kneeled down on the bed and then shifted up and the bed and quickly read a few line of each page and took down three and screwed them up in her hand and then dropped them into the bin tucked in beside her bed. She shifted herself again and stood up on the floor and then kneeled down and opened the drawer under her bed and pulled out her favourite leather coat and stood up and walked over to her room door and hung it over the back of the door and then turned round. Her own area of the room was messy and had paper over the Walls and bed frame, but still the other two bed and the rest of the room were clean and tidy. She still had a slight hope that someone would want to get a room mate, but that would only come with more time

Mika walked up to the door. Looking at the card in her hand, she mumbled to herself "Room 202. Here we go." After adjusting the strap from her messenger bag, she reached down and turned the handel, trying to to drop the pillow and books tucked underneath her arms. The door opened, and Mika found herself facing a plain room with three beds. One bed was covered with a purple bedspread, and had a girl sitting atop it. Mika entered the room, and sheepishly smiled at the girl. She was horrible at talking to new people for the first time, but if she was going to be living with this girl, she wanted to make a nice first impression. "Hello, I'm Mika, your new room mate." She walked over to one of the empty beds and emptied her arms. Unslinging her messenger bag, she turned to the girl. "What's you name?" She was nerverous, afraid that she would say something smart and scare the girl with her supreme intellect. She often times did that. Thats why she requested a new room. The girls she roomed with before thought she was weird and ignored her. She felt excluded. She requested a new room a week ago, and here she was, facing a new challenge and hoping it was going well.

Nix twitched as she heard footsteps up the corridor and turned round on her bed, that couldnt be someone coming for her, she hadn't done anything wrong yet this week. She hung her legs off the bed as another girl walked into the room and nix stared ,"room mate?" she asked. She shook her head and stood up and walked slowly over to the other girl and raised an eyebrow ,"is this another joke?" she asked ,"are you the lasted tart from 212? Come to wind me up again?" she hissed and felt her hands curl up into fists at her side ,"tell me your name" she said quickly and then held out her hand with her palm facing the other girl ,"don't think I won't blast you if you lie ,I don't need anymore trouble or stress from hose idiots anymore" she said, venom dripping in to her voice as she spoke.

Behind her shadow walked out from under the bed and looked over at her and then rolled his Amber eyes and walked over to the window and jumped up on to it's edge and laid Down And wrapped his black tail around himself ,she always was defensive before friendly he remind himself

Mika stared in awe at the girl. She was utterly terrifying! "I-I said. I'm Mika Shiraishi, your new room mate," she studderd. "I-I was reasigned. I d-didn't like my old roomates." The girl's presance was menacing. "If you don't w-want a room mate I can a-ask for a diffrent r-room."

She gasped as something black crawled out from under the girl's bed. It glanced at Mika with bright amber eyes before going to the window. This girl was diffrent, thats for sure. Threatening her before she even knew who she was, keeping strange animals under her bed. Mika wasn't so sure she wanted to room with this girl. "P-please, don't hurt me. I-I'll just... go then." She said, turning to go collect her things. She sure didn't have good luck when it came to boarding rooms. She picked up her pillow, and forgeting her pile of mangas was on top, lifted it from the bed. The japanese comics spilled onto the floor. "Ack!" She winced as several smacked into her feet. "Those were from the library... I hope their not dammaged." Putting the pillow down, she bent to pick the small books up. "This just isn't my day," she mumbled.

Nix paused as the girl turned away and then heard the all important word in every thing she'd said, library. Nix almost laughed and then realised what she'd said and what she'd almost done too, "hey ,look I'm sorry" she said quickly and walked round the other side of the bed and picked up some of the books that had fallen her way and then stood up and held them out to the to the new girl. "people kinda think it's funny that I like being weird, so they gang up and mess with me until I lash out and then report me and every thing goes pear shaped, I've never had a room mate yet, and I've been here over a year" she explained as shadow mewed behind her and she rolled her eyes.

"I never told you who I was, I was too busy attacking you" she thought out load and walked back Round the bed and held the last two books out to the girl ,"my names nix, nix night, I don't like people calling me by my real name" she said and tried to smile and then nodded her head back ,"that's shadow, the black wild cat on the window, he's the only thing that's ever put up me so far, I found him on a field trip and he climbed in my back pack and never left me alone since" she said and then offered out a hand ,"I'm not good with room mates ether"

Mika took the books and shook the girl's hand. "Well, its very nice to meet you, Nix." She turned to the cat. "And you, too, Shadow!" She set the books on the desk where they'd be safe. "So I take it I can stay, then?" She asked, smiling. She pulled the teal sheets she packed from her pillowcase and began stripping the bed of its current, boring white ones. "Without a room mate for a year, eh?" She said, not looking up from her work. "I had two, for a while, but they weren't very nice." She tucked the sheet corners under the matress, then set to work with the topsheet. "They always teased me, and ignored me. They call me Super Freak, because of my powers." She tucked the bottom of the topsheet under the matress, and laid out the comforter with the darker teal duve cover. "See, one of them is Supreme Intelligence, which means I'm increadably smart." She paused in the middle of smoothing the blanket, realizing she sounded conceded. "Anyway, I was almost always reading or doing work, so the teased me." She set her pillow on her now perfectly made bed. "Oops, sorry for rabiling like that." She said, embarrased.

Nix rolled her eyes and walked over to her own bed and sat down ,"ramble away mate" she sniggered and dropped down on to her bed and reached up above her head board and took down a bit of paper with her newest idea and then pulled a pencil out from the draw on her desk. "I'm weird all in all, I take peries negative enegy and covert it into shadows that I can control ,it looks kinda evil but I love doing it and love my power" she said and then started writing down new ideas ,"but I love writing you see, and just to warn you ,the walk in cupboard is covered it plot papers" she said and then smiled and rolled over so she was looking at her room mate ,"I scare people you see, I figure it's better people see you are who you are than hide it away under a fake person, and the fact I'm so openly weird creeps a lot of people out ,they don't know what to do with me, so I'm ignored" she explained and then nodded to the window ,"I spend most of my time it of classes in the first or on the court yard writing or working on my powers" she concluded and nodded to the other girl ,"how long you been here?" she asked

Mika chuckled a bit. "A few years now." She sat down on her bed. "My intelligence isn't really my power, though. Just a coincidence." She smiled. "My actual power is rather odd." She stood and pressed two finger to each temple. "I can take my brainwaves and covert them into electricity." She took her hands away, and they were now sparking. "I transfer the sparks to my hands through my nerves." She held her hands out, palms down. Little tiny lightning bolts shot down from her palms. "I can make them bigger, but I don't want to set our nice room on fire!!" She laughed, closing her hands and extinguishing the bolts. "Its difficult to use, though. If for some reson I become distracted or lose focus, the electricity will immediatly die." She sat back down. "Its all powered by my intellect. I need to focus solely on my power in order for it to work successfully." She turned and continued to unpack her messenger bag. "Its an exciting power, but with a confusing way of working." She picked up a stack of clothing to put away. She walked toward the closet, but passing by the window first to scratch Shadow behind the ears.

Nix noddes to herself ,"I know the feeling" she said quietly and then paused and smiled to herself. She dropped her pencil on the bed and rolled over and dropped down onto the floor on all fours and then stood up and brushed herself down and faced mika with a smirk firmly in place on her face, she leaned over shadow and opened the window and then let her hands hang at her sides, "what ever you do, do not get in the way" she said with a laugh and then flicked her hands. She could feel the warm tingle of life doubts at he end of her fingers and smiled again and then turned to face the window and flicked her hands up and round in a circle. A line of dark purple shadows appeared where her hands had started and followed the curve and then disappeared like smoke, nix smiled and flicked her wrist up and then pulled back and a long rope of shadows flicked out of the window and up into the sky and then nix waves her hand and they to disappeared and she gasped and felt her legs wobble and she tipped sideways and dropped onto her head ,"that's my demo" she said with a laugh and shadow mewed on the window sill at being disturbed

Mika applauded the little show. "That was amazing!" She stood up and smiled. "So you just take people's sadness and doubt, then turn it into that?" She inquired. "Interesting..." She leaned on the windowsill, then turned to continue unpacking. She pulled her uniform out of her bag. "What do you think of the uniforms?" She set the white blouse and plad skirt down on the bed and looked at them. "I don't mind them. They're a lot like the one I used to wear back when my family still lived in Japan." She sighed. "Then my parents seperated, and we moved." She shook her head, the picked up the clothes. "But that was a while ago. I'm here now, thats what matters." She walked into the closet and put the uniform with the neatly folded clothes. "What about you?" She called, curious. "What's your family like?" This girl seemed very interesting. And that power!! It was increadable! Taking sadness and turning it into that!! Compared to this Nix, her little lightning seemed like nothing!! And she knew how powerful she could make it. This "Shadow Power" seemed so much more powerful!! Like it could blow a hole through a concreat wall!

*tell me about it, but at least it means we have to think about what we write and put effort in to it, which is kinda nice after some of the one liners from the clan*

Nix paused and then turned away from the other girl and sat down on the edge of her bed and sighed and ran hand through her hair ,"I like the uniform, I get to wear dark trousers and then blast girls who laugh at me for being on ofthe very few who wear them" she said in a hollow voice and then laid down on her back and looked up at the top of her bed and closed her eyes and sighed deeply ,"my mother died when I was two, no one knows who my dad is. My aunt and uncle raised me with fists and poles and alot of hair pulling as they hate our kind, so I ran and I ran as far as humanly could ,a freind of mine took me in and they raised me for a summer but I couldnt stay with them ,It just felt wrong ,so I ran away, I collapsed in the woods and then woke up here, that was in June two years back" she said and then covered her eyes with her hands

Mika watched the girl. "I-I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have asked about it." She paused and coughed once. "Hem." She picked up her mangas and pulled several anime dvds out of her bag- Bleach, Soul-Eater, Hetalia, Fruits Basket, and a collection of Miazaki movies. Placing them with care on the shelves on her desk, she asked Nix "So, do you like anime?" She really wanted to change the subject, get the ackwardness out of the room. Slowly she loaded the shelves with her favorite things. Placing little figures from variouse series on the desk, she continued with the conversation. "I love it, manga, too. It's kind of hard not to love it when you've lived in Japan." She lauged a little. "It's everywhere- on almost every channel at night, there are poster on every street, hundreds of stores soley dedicated to manga and anime." She was on a role, stuck back in her life in Japan. "There were cosplay cafes and cons every weekend. It was wonderful..." She stared out the window, remembering. "Sometimes I wish I could go back there, live with my dad. But I can't." She sighed and turned away. "My dad is such an otaku, somebody obsessed with anime and manga. I guess that where I get it." She pulled a picture frame from her bag and placed it on the desk, facing her bed. It was of her and her dad, both dressed as Soul Reapers at a comic con. "I miss him."

Nix gave a small and dark laugh ,"I've heard of bleach and seen a few episodes but it was just way to confusing,I like death note and I like pokemon too, if that counts" she said and then gave a small laugh and rolled over on to her side and leaned over and reached under her bed with her arm. Her fingers brushed the bottom of the mattress and a small dark book dropped down onto the floor. Nix picked it up and rolled over on to her back and then rocked forwards and sat up and nodded to mika ,"I'd normally never let anyone see this, but I like you ,but don't tell anyone that" she said with a grin and then dropped the book down on the bed.

She opened the front page and there was a picture of a small nix with a old grey haired woman who had her arm round her, nix smiled down at the picture and then flicked over the page. There was a picture of nix and another red headed boy, both of them were about 5. nix was dressed in her misty cosplay outfit and the other red head was wearing a ash ketchum costum ,nix rolled her eyes and then tilted the book to one side and ran her finger over a small White flick in the right of the picture, "still here mate, you just gotta talk to me" she said with a small smile and a sigh and lifted a hand and ran it through her own red hair ,"he's here you know, but he doesn't know I'm here" she said and waved at mika to come over

*Gah! Sorry it took me so long to reply! Its hard to think of posts this long! Oh and another thing, Nix always reminded me of some one and now I know who it is! Its Midna from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess!!*

Mika walked over and looked at the photograph. "Those are great costumes," she commented. She looked closer. The boy looked vaughly familiar, and she sort of remembered seeing him around campus. In the picture, the two kids looked somewhat alike. "Who is he?" Mika asked. "Your brother or something?" She realized that sounded a little rude, and decided to stop talking. The little pair did look similar enough to be related, maybe he was her brother. They had the same hair color at least, but that could have just been a coincidence. Most of her friends in Japan had dark hair like her, so it was possible. Judging by the picture, the two looked very close as well. Maybe they were just best friends. And Nix had said he went to school here, so that ment he was a mutant, too. This boy seemed very interesting, who ever he was. Mika now wanted to meet him, find out who he was.
