Hazel was actually surprised that he was just standing there, waiting for something to happen. Perhaps for someone to bring the agents down to get him? It was still odd.... And he was refusing to answer any of her questions... The woman just sighed, shaking her head and stepping back to wait as well. Either they would show up soon, or they'd hear Freya starting a fight up there....
The moment Freya saw the paper, it burst into flames, even before the man was close enough for her to see it. She didn't care. She didn't even care that the flames.... Accidentally caught the sleeve of his suit, spreading far to quickly for any normal flame. Of course, before her smug smirk could show, she'd gotten a spray of something right in the face. The moment she inhaled, the oddest thing happened. She couldn't feel the flames she'd previously ignited on the man suit, but could see them running rampant with out her control. What... the... Hell?!
With no real time to try and figure out what was going on, the agent that had probably only said... two or three words during the whole encounter, had stepped forward.... And slammed something into her chest. Freya went white, the pain in her ribs leaving her gasping. And then... More pain as electricity coursed through her whole body. Then, just like that it stopped. Her hands trembled, the woman grimacing as she tried to catch her breath.
Suddenly she glared at them, as if asking if that was the best shot they had. Of course it hurt! It hurt like hell! And having already been beat up more then enough today, it probably hurt worse then it would have on a day when she was in perfect condition! That didn't mean she was going to cower and do as they asked. If only they knew how hard it was to get Freya to cooperate... "Sorry. You can't have him."

As soon as the Agents arm set on fire he jumped back, trying to knock it out, as the other one shocked Freya. The man slapped at his arm for a few moments trying to beat it out but couldn't as it rapidly spread over his body. He took off his coat but it was too late, the fire spread to his shirt and pants and soon his entire body was engulfed in flames.
Strangely, the "kowolski" agent never even tried to help him. Instead he slammed the rob in Freya's rib cage again, pushing the button and sending another terrible shock through her, but this time didn't let go. It was obvious that this man took a great amount of pleasure in hurting people, which was likely why he was given the shock rod.
After a few moments, the flaming clothes seemed to simply fall off the man. They revealed not a burnt corpse, but a sleek, shiny, black suit that looked much like Rory's with some minor changes. The visor was very different, and it was much thinner, as well as smoother; suggesting it might be newer. The man who had been "Smith" kicked aside the burning clothes at his feet and stepped toward Freya.
Just as Kowolski let go of the trigger on the rod, Smith back-handed Freya, "... Why won't you give him up?" The man paused for a moment waiting for her to answer.
"You won't lead us to him? Fine..." He turned toward the other agent, who is was very likely had a suit on under his clothes just like "Smith". "Go inside, start killing as many as you can. He'll come running to their screams sooner or later." With this "Kowolski" took a step for the door. " The best part is, their blood will be on your hands." He said, looking down at Freya, his cold metallic voice showing no emotion.

Freya probably would have laughed if she'd been able to watch the talkative one trying to put out the flames, dancing about like a chicken with it's head chopped off. If she'd been able to control the flames she wouldn't have let them to much, mainly just let them terrify the man but otherwise leave him unharmed.
As it was, having who knows how many volts of electricity coursing through your body was a pretty big distraction. Not just once though, twice. The quiet one was shocking her yet again. Only this time.... He didn't stop. Freya's whole body was shaking from the pain, though no sound escaped, her teeth clamped together to keep herself silent.
When it finally stopped, she expected at least half a second to catch her breath. She didn't get it, the one she'd set on fire was back, his hand probably leaving a bright red mark on her cheek, right where her hit her. Compared to the electricity.... Her cheek only stung. "....." She stared at them for several moments, that defiant, stubborn look still in her eyes. "... Because..." Like hell she'd tell them why!
The part about going and killing people inside though seemed to get her attention, but not in the way they might expect. "Better hope he has life insurance. He'll need it..." Witty comebacks seemed to be the only thing she was capable of at the moment. From exhausting herself with those two fights with Rory earlier and now this, she couldn't even move anymore. God.... Today just wasn't her day...

The man didn't care what the woman was saying, it didn't matter, these two were trained to kill mutants. It was what they did, in fact, much of their training came from studying the very man she was trying to protect. Whether she knew that or not, well, it was just like a sweet piece of knowledge to the man. Just as his partner was reaching for the door though, it hit him like a brick wall.
"Stop." Was all he said, and the man froze in place. "It's not their screams that will bring him out... It's hers." His silent companion raised a brow in question. "Remember? Last reports of his location showed him spending a lot of time out and about with a red head... and she is so desperate not to give him up, I think we found the red head." The man glanced around, then walked over to the window and looked in the mansion.
There were a few students in the living room, but they had the TV on and it was turned up on full volume, perfect. Calmly he walked over to where the Comm system was that he used, leaving it on. Then he gave a nod to his companion, as if they were both thinking the same thing now.
The 'Kowolski' of the two stepped down and took off his sunglass, tossing them aside and smiled at Freya. The smile though, was not happy, it was so laced with evil that it was unmistakable. The man reached down and ripped open Freya's coat, then slammed the rod onto the bare skin of her stomach... and hit the trigger. As he continued shocking her, he leaned forward and whispered to her, "Scream..."

Freya lay there, trying to catch her breath and find enough energy to do something. She tried using her powers again... Nothing. The gas was stronger then she'd thought... How long would it take until it wore off? How long until she could stop them from harming those in the school..?
She heard the talkative one again, this time suddenly stopping his 'partner'. Hearing what he said, she slowly looked at them, shock covering her previously pained, but defiant, expression. How..? How did they know Rory had been with a 'redhead' in the first place? Had they been watching him? What exactly was their connection to Rory..?
As the silent one came back, she glared at him, her look daring him to try it. To bad for them, they didn't know Rory had lost his memories of her. Rory wouldn't come out... She was.... Only half sure. The other half hoped he would come, that he'd be back to 'her Rory' and come to her rescue.
Again, electricity was shooting through her whole body, only it was far worce this time. Apparently the coat she'd been wearing had helped some... Nothing was stopping her from feeling the full blunt of it. Again, she clamped her teeth shut, to keep herself silent, but the longer it went on, the harder it became... Until finally she screamed....

As Rory stood silently in the room a blood curdling scream suddenly sounded off the walls and echoed around, it was obviously from Freya. Rory didn't move though, he stayed in the center of the rooms, arms folded. Almost immediately after the scream, a voice echoed around the room.
"Come play Phantom... We'll wait for you. Not sure what we'll do to pass the time, but I'm sure this beautiful woman can help us think of something." With that the speaker went silent.
"Told you..." Was all Rory said, "Don't alert anyone. They will be waiting, if anyone steps out that door... They'll kill them and her." Rory said calmly, his arms still folded. Hopefully she saw what he meant now... and hopefully she realized that out of anyone, he could be the one to take on people that brought down Freya that fast.
Outside, the 'Smith' man turned off the comm and walked over to Freya, who was still being shocked. "Stop, let's get her out in the open." With that, the man without the suit grabbed Freya by her coat and easily drug her out into the lawn. Thankfully it was dark outside already, so no one just walking by the window of the mansion would see them.
When the man stopped dragging her, he lifted up, ripping the coat off her and tossing it aside, then kicked her over with his foot. "He will come... I'll get ready for him... Have fun.' With that, the man seemingly disappeared, much like Rory had earlier in the danger room. Now the only thing that stopped the sadist standing over Freya, was gone.
He eyed her, like a dog eyeing a piece of meat, and slammed the shock rod onto her chest, pulling the trigger again. The effects of the smoke wouldn't wear off for a short while longer, but even when they did, he was going to make sure that she wouldn't be a problem.

Hazel had frozen when she heard the screams. She'd never heard Freya scream! Actually, she started to believe that she'd never hear Freya scream... And now she wished she could have kept it that way. Strangely though, Rory didn't seem to have any reaction at all! The Rory she knew probably would have tried to kill Hazel in his mad dash to help Freya... What had happened to him..?
"And if we let you go, would you stop this...?" Would Rory, even without his memories of Freya, be willing to save the girl that he'd loved? Or would he just leave her for dead? Should she trust him?
Freya just about lost consciousness during the long torture. And when it finally stopped, no words could describe how relieved she was. In her pained daze, she only groaned when she was moved with out warning. Where were they taking her?
Her head swam, convincing her that they were dragging her far longer then they really had been, the woman not coming back to her senses until she was kicked. She snarled, managing to rise just enough to glare at the only man still in sight, the one that kept shocking her. If only she could use her power... Then he'd be sorry... "Coward...." She started screaming again as the electricity started to pulse through her body.

"You are worried about whether or not I will save the woman?" It was a rhetorical question, he already knew what the woman was thinking. Slowly he unfolded his arms and walked calmly toward her, making no attempt to be threatening beyond what his suit natural showed.
"These are the people I warned you about, I told you they would come. They are the people I spend my life hunting, so whether I will do this to save her or not. Does the reason why I do it matter so long as you know I am going to do it?" There was no hint of a joke in his voice, and he calmly waited for her reply, or for her to step aside.
Outside the more talkative man sunk into the shadows, almost invisible with his camoflauged suit. The other man was quite enjoying his job right now, completely ignoring everything else around him. "Coward?" The man asked calmly, stopping the shocking for a moment.
"I can see why he liked you..." The man slowly ran the metal rod down her body, not shocking her just yet, letting her take a slight rest before placing it just under her jaw and gave her a slight wink. Then he hit the button again...

Hazel didn’t say anything for a long time, though she didn’t move either. Finally though, she moved aside, letting him leave if he wanted, her head shaking. “The woman has a name. You should try to remember it…” She didn’t say anything else, just pointed him towards the exit.
Freya lay there, gasping, her whole body shaking. Just how many times had he shocked her? Or better yet, how much more did she have to endure…? Until they finally decided to kill her? Still… The woman remained defiant, glaring through the pain. “…..” She didn’t say anything when he spoke again. Just another sick reminder that Rory didn’t actually remember her right now….
She was reminded of what Rory had said earlier, when he’d finally seemed to accept that he’d known her. That people were after him… So this is who he meant. Well, maybe not just these two, but they were involved. But why? Why were they after Rory? What was the connection..?
When she felt metal touch her jaw, she tried to move. No, she had to move. If he shocked her th- Her eyes went wide, as she felt those first volts. Her whole body spasmed violently. Never... She'd never experienced this kind of pain.
Talk about scrambled…

As Hazel stepped aside, Rory nodded slowly, as if to say "you made a good choice". He stepped through the door and into the hall, quickly making his way through the mansion, unnoticed by the rest of the mansion. Though, as he made his way to the exit, he already had a plan in mind...
The man known as Kowolski was taking far too much pleasure from watching Freya squirm, shudder, and scream from the rod. He didn't hold the button down as long this time, letting go after a few seconds. Slowly he knelt down beside her, looking over her nearly nude body, he leaned closer to her, "You know... Your boyfriend don't show soon, and I'll have to have some real fun with you." He whispered to her, resting a hand on her bare stomach. Then slammed the rod into her jaw and hit the button again.
Or at least he was going to hit the button, as soon as the rod touched her jaw he stopped, a look of sheer pain came across his face and in the silence of the night there was a slight clicking noise. Slowly behind the man a dark suit materialized, it was obviously Rory. Upon closer inspection one could see the he had buried the claws of his glove deep into the man's back, tearing off the control for his suit and breaking his spine at the same time. The man collapsed on the ground beside Freya, still alive but unable to move.
Rory slowly stood up to his full height and looked down at Freya, "The effects will wear off soon..." He glanced over her, but didn't feel attraction to her now, only... pity. He looked at the man he just paralyzed, then at the rod. He kicked the rod, causing it to land by Freya's hand, "He's all yours." The paralyzed man looked up at Rory as if asking for pity, but Rory simply turned around. His fate was up to Freya now...
When he turned around, he was immediately side-swiped by something... Another agent. The man tackled Rory to the ground and the two rolled into the darkness, both doing their best to try and beat the other.

That last shock left Freya, figuratively, scrambled. It might not have lasted nearly as long as any of the other assaults, but at least when he’d been shocking her in the chest some of the sting had dulled before reaching the rest of her body, or specifically her head… It was a miracle that Freya even managed to stay conscious!
She didn’t reply to what he said…. Or rather couldn’t, her head still spinning and jumbled. Actually, she didn’t even seem all that aware in her pain induced daze. You couldn’t blame her though, after all, how would you feel if you were shocked as many times as she was?
When the rod touched her again, she seemed to come out of her daze just enough to try and prepare herself for the attack… It never came. Instead, the most peculiar thing happened. The one that had been torturing her just… collapsed. Once he fell though, Freya saw why. Even completely covered by that freakish suit of his, she knew it was Rory… And he still didn’t remember her.
She half glared at him, just because he hadn’t recalled her yet, as she gasped for breath. The glare would probably confuse him beyond belief, but it was actually a very common occurrence before he lost his memories. She would get mad at him and want to hit, or burn, him for the most pointless reasons… At the most inappropriate times. But that was Freya for you, completely and totally unreasonable.
And then, just like that Rory was gone, having kicked the rod right into reach. Did he really think she’d torture the man as payback? …. Shit, she would. Even without his memories Rory knew her to well! What the hell was with that?!
A few moments of silence followed, as Freya reacquainted herself with moving. Her whole body killed… Slowly though, she rolled onto her stomach, flinching as her body protested. Finally she reached for the instrument. She forced herself to scowl as she stared at her former persecutor. “Payback’s a bitch…” Without any hesitation, she used all her strength to slam the end into the man’s chest and turn it on. Only unlike him, she had absolutely no intention of turning it off…

Just after the man had tackled Rory, the two immediately began trading blows, hit after hit, trying to beat one another into the ground. While the Agents suit was quite a bit more advanced than Rory's, his suit had one major flaw; the user of it. Had Rory been in that suit it would have been dangerous, but as the man who was formerly known as "Smith" soon found out, an outdated piece of hardware could still hit very very hard. The man was much faster than Rory, but he lacked the sheer strength that Rory and his suit possessed. Not to mention the fact that Rory had several hundred years of combat experience...
The man kept using the suits camoflauge function to disappear, then reappear somewhere else. It was too fast for Rory as the man constantly popped up, then disappear after landing a blow. Rory couldn't take it anymore, but it didn't matter, the man was making a fatal mistake... He was predictable, always appearing in Rory's blindspot. So, he counteracted that.
On the man's next appearance, before he could land a punch, Rory's foot slammed into the man's visor. The visor shattered with the force of the blow, knocking him back against a true. Dazed, the man hit the tree and staggered forward, immediately catching a heavy hand straight to the face again.
With that hit, he fell to the ground, "Next time you fight me... Use your head, not your fists." Rory said as he stood over the man who was trying weakly to stand up. Rory extended the claws on his glove and dug them into the cracked visor. Then with an almighty tug there was a horrible cracking sound, and a crunch of metal. After another moment, the metal on the man's suit weakened and in the next moment his body was laying on the ground limp... while his head was held in Rory's hand.
"Oops, guess there won't be a next time." Rory said calmly, making his way back toward Freya, the man's head still hooked in Rory's claws.
The Agent known as 'Kowolski' was getting far less gentle treatment than his friend. Paralyzed, but still able to feel ever ounce of pain from the shock stick, he let out blood curdling screams as Freya held it on his chest. He couldn't move, and soon his screaming got quieter and quieter until it stopped. Though, his body was still spasming from the electricity... his face showed no signs of life.

Freya just ignored the screams from the man, the woman having already convinced herself that it was ‘payback’ for what he’d done to her. Freya was violent by nature, but she rarely resorted to torture. Today though…. She was pissed off enough to sink down to their level. She wasn’t interesting in keeping him alive though, hence why she didn’t stop every so often like he had.
The more time passed, the quieter he got, until finally…. He was completely silent. Freya waited a few moments, just to be sure he was, for sure, dead, before turning off the instrument and tossing it. With her revenge taken care of the woman actually looked relieved. Groaning she got up on her hands and knees, looking for her discarded coat. Spotting it, she scowled. It wasn’t in the best of shape… But at least it would cover her up again. Sure, Rory had seen her naked before…. Actually he’d seen her naked quite a few times, but for some reason, him not having his memories of her made her want to cover up, jus to spite him.
Crawling to it, she wrapped it around her once again, instantly feeling a little better. Then, without waiting for Rory to come back, well if he was coming back, the woman started to pull herself to her feet, using a tree for support. Her whole body started to tremble even more violently then before, screaming at her to stop putting it through this new torture, to just lay back down until someone found her. Sadly… Freya didn't follow directions very well.

By the time Rory got to the 'scene of the crime', he was more than a little shocked at what he saw. The man he left with Freya was obviously dead, but his body was still spasming heavily from the shock rod. Sure, he had expected Freya to kill him but what she did almost made him... proud. The woman he saw in the danger room only moments ago, well, to say the least he would have never expected this.
Though, Freya wasn't near the body. After glancing around a bit he saw her, crawling to her coat and wrapping it around her bare body. She never noticed him, he glanced over his shoulder at the Mansion wall. Here was his chance, he could leave with ease. Looking back at Freya who was now leaning against the tree, he had an overpowering urge to... stay? It was then, looking at Freya, that it really hit him.... He knew her. He didn't know how still, but instead of earlier when she was nothing to him, he knew now that she had been telling the truth... He had to find out more.
Against his better judgement he walked towards the weak woman, stopping close behind her and dropping the decapitated head in his hand to the ground. "It will probably only be a few minutes before your pwoers start to come back, but it will take longer for the effects of the rod to wear off...." Suddenly, the helmet on Rory's suit seemed to melt away, revealing his face.
"Let me help you inside... Alainn." For some reason, he knew he used to call her that. He still couldn't remember a thing about her... But he was beginning to remember, if having a feeling was remembering that is.

Freya might have laughed if he'd actually voiced his thoughts on what she'd done. Really.... That was just normal Freya behavior if you pissed her off enough, and the old Rory would have known that.
When she heard a soft thud, the woman looked up, searching for the source.... And then wished she hadn't. There was Rory.... And a head. Gross... "Did you have to bring that thing back?" She looked thoroughly repulsed, but didn't throw up from the sight like most people.... Great. The old Rory had desensitized her! Finally though she focused on what he said. "Well that's good to know..." Freya stood there for a few minutes, still trembling, before finally sighing and sitting down, as if to say 'Nope, I'll just wait here until it wears off'.
She sat there for a few moments, in that time Rory having uncovered his face from that strange suit of his. Even though she knew he didn't remember her... Seeing him still made her heart skip a beat, just like before... Freya instantly looked away, scolding herself for even thinking such a thing. She was supposed to be mad at him! She couldn't start focusing on the reasons she liked him!
Alainn
Freya froze when she heard that word. Rory had called her that, almost as often as her own name... She'd never bothered to ask what it meant... But hearing him say it, in that familiar Irish accent... Oh she was so confused! Her Rory had called her that! And yet, even with out his memories.... Perhaps... He did remember her..... Just a little. "......" She still refused to look at him, and probably confuse herself even more as she tried to figure out what had made him call her that. "... What made you call me that...?" Hey, better to just ask then continue to confuse herself!
