Go to the lone island in the middle of the ocean. It is there you will find what you seek
It's what he was told when he spoke to a mysterious woman about the Nightmares. He wanted to find them, but in general he wanted to find, and offer his services to, the leader of the group, Shadow Nightshade. The map she gave him showed him where to go, but she left out how he should get there.
That didn't stop him, and within moments he was coming up on the island, riding crossed-legged on a giant whale. What few thought amazing, most would find it a horrible site, especially since the whale was dead. The corpse had been animated by Victor to carry him to the island. As the beast stopped at the island, Victor stepped on the land, releasing the creature from his hold. As the rotted corpse fell into the depths of the ocean, Victor stepped further onto land, taking not another step until he had reached the middle of the outer island. He looked around as he waited, taking in the sights. He smirked, finding it humorous that a lone island in a vast ocean would hide the most dangerous groups of mutants on earth.

When he stepped on the Island.. Nothing happened. No one came out to greet him. The land didn't turn against him. It was almost... eerie, almost like a ghost town. He'd be left waiting some time, ten minutes or so, before finally something stirred. Only it might not have been what he was expecting. The earth beneath him seemed to heave, before exploding upward, to send him into the open air. As quickly as it happened though, the earth returned to where it'd originally been, but the uninvited, unwelcome guest wouldn't land on the ground. Something had caught him, holding him suspending above ground, wrapped around him like invisible coils. If he knew of Shadow Nightshade... He'd know it was her doing.
Shadow didn't appear at the entrance for a few more minutes though, obviously taking her sweet time. Why should she rush after all? It was just one intruder. Not to mention she felt no obligation to hurry so as not to leave him waiting to long. When she did appear though, she wore a long blood red dress that flowed about like water. Her snow white hair was left down as well, making the whole affect even more enchanting. "Who are you?"

Have I arrived at the wrong place?
He began to wonder if he had chosen the wrong island to step onto. The directions were exact, leading him to this place, yet there was nobody here. He was about to turn and leave when the ground exploded under him, launching him into the air. He flew through the air a little, the ground closing up under him. He felt himself falling and stopping a couple feet off the ground.
He stayed there hovering in the air, a little stunned at what had happened. The force that rocked him would've killed any normal man after hitting the earth. When he looked towards the entrance, he saw something that almost stopped his heart. The woman was beyond beautiful, but the air around her was that of a demanding force. She obviously was the leader, or at least someone in high command. Though he was suspended in the air, he felt he could still move.
"My name is Karnak, my lady." he took a kneeling position, one leg propped up as he bowed to her, "I offer my assistance, and request membership with the group known as the nightmares. Shall you have me?"
