Apocalypse had just finished sending Mystique on a mission to get the mutants she had brought him information for. He walked into the lab, but couldn't help but notice that things were different. First off the lights were already on, when he had turned them off after talking to the newest members of the brotherhood, of his family he thought long dead. When the doors opened, he saw Cain standing in the middle of the room.
"Cain!" he said, glaring at the man, "What is the meaning of this intrusion!"
"Intrusion...an interesting word used by someone as old as you." Cain said, his cold eyes matching the smile and small chuckle that followed.
"YOU DARE!" Apocalypse yelled. His arm shot out from his body, grabbing Cain around the throat and slamming him against the wall.
"Apocalypse, why must we fight. There is a connection between us. I feel it," Cain began, placing his hands on Apocalypse's arm, his voice turning darker, "Don't you?"
Apocalypse watched as Cain's entire body began to share the same material as his suit. His eyes widened, too late to see what was about to happen. Cain picked him up by the arm with ease and began slamming him around the entire lab. Into, and even through machines, tables and chairs. He then slammed Apocalypse into the ceiling, causing a few rocks and debris to fall, then dropped him to the floor. Apocalypse couldn't beleive the pain he was feeling as he struggled to get up, coughing blood.
"You...you dare challenge...me?" He said.
"Challenge?" Cain said, now standing near the computer console, "You're not challenge to me."
Apocalypse looked up angrily at Cain, watching as the man touched the computer consol, his other hand still blended in with his armor, holding him fast. As Cain's hand sunk into the computer consol, Apocalypse stood up, ready to strike. Unfortunately, Apocalypse saw what Cain was about to do, and his eyes widened in horror.
"NO!!!!!" He yelled.
Too late. Cain's hand reached around the cords inside the consol and gripped them tightly. Electricity surged through him and into Apocalypse. The lights flickered all throughout the lab, Apocalypes screamed and yelled in pain, mixing with the maniacle laughter that came from Cain. Cain's body changing into the electricity that surged through him, and within moments he was gone inside the machine. Apocalype's arm fell limp to his side, his eyes rolling into the back of his head. It was like a chimney falling as smoke moved slowly from his open mouth, his body crashing to the lab floor.
"Well, let's see what we have in here." Cain's voice was heard from the machine, "Hmm...Sentinels...X-mansion. What's this? Tokra Genji...ah, the boy lives. I'll have to pay him a visit, but first, I think it's time to give this place a fond farewell."
He chuckled as his electrical body worked around the consol, the screens and lights of the lab beginning to glow feircly and brightly. His chuckle became the maniacle laughter heard before as the screens, lights, and machines around the lab began bursting and exploding around Apocalypse's body. Soon after, silence was heard from the lab. Apocalypse laid unmoving inside in the middle of the chaos and distruction that was once his laboratory.
