(read Insurrection at the ruinds first, or you won't get what's about to happen)
Tokra enjoyed the woods, among swimming and working out. Having the ability to turn into a rock form tends to make one more into the earth then normal. He didn't mind it, mainly because he spent more time out doors during his life then anywhere else. He made his way out to a clearing and stood there, staring at the sun. He smiled, placing his hands in his pockets.
"Well...well...well...Tokra Genji, what a pleasant surprise." a cold voice said behind him.
"Huh?" Tokra turned towards the voice, seeing a strange looking man in black with long silver hair coming from the woods.
Giving a small chuckle, the man stepped a few feet closer to Tokra. Tokra took a few steps back, having no idea who his man is, but having the feeling he wasn't good.
"How do you know my name?" Tokra asked, "And who are you?"
"My name...is Cain." the man said, "And I know you very well. You look so much like your mother."
Tokra's eyes widened and his jaw dropped. How could this man know his mother? Nobody in the town he lived at resembled this man. Maybe they met during their travels out of the town?
"H-how do you know my mother?" Tokra asked.
"I know your mother, Tokra, and your father to." Cain said, a cold smile growing on his face, "That is...I did know them."
An unknown anger began growing inside Tokra as his hands slowly balled into fists. Why was this guy laughing? And what did he mean by he did know his parents. Finally his eyes widened as the memory of his parents came to him. The last time he saw them, their bodies battered and broken, lieing in pools of blood on the floor.
"No...no it can't be. You can't be him!" Tokra said. Cain started laughing, causing Tokra to become more angry.
"They talked about you for a while, Tokra, praying that I wouldn't find you. They begged some God to watch over you. Even as they breathed their last breath." His eyes narrowed as a cold grin grew on his face, "How pathetic."
"YOU MONSTER!!!" Tokra yelled.
With a roar that he never knew he had in him, he charged at Cain. Anger and fury causing his blood to boil, hungering for revenge. Cain just stood there, laughing at him, wanting to see what this boy could give. Tokra's body changed into his rock form, and he drew back his fist, hitting Cain hard in the stomache. Cain doubled over, giving Tokra the opportunity to hit him across the head. Cain crumpled to the ground, getting up and shaking his head, placing his hands no the earth.
"You're going to pay for their deaths!" Tokra yelled, bringing his fists up together and slamming them hard onto Cain's back. Cain yelled out and dropped to the floor.
"You're strong, Tokra, but you don't understand the depths of your powers." Cain said, breathing heavily from the pain he felt, "Allow me to show you."
Without warning, Cains hand shot out around Tokra's ankle. Tokra tried to pull away, but realised he couldn't move. He watched as Cain's hand changed to the same color and texture of his own body. Soon the change went to Cain's arm, then around his body as well.
"What the-" Tokra started, but felt himself being pulled from the ground by the leg Cain had ahold of. Losing his footing, he fell backwards and hit the earth, but continued to struggle against Cain.
"Do you know what you can do with a power like mine?" Cain said, laughing, "You can do things like this!"
Tokra gave a yell as he felt himself being thrown around the clearing. Smashed against rocks, through trees, and into the ground. All the while Cain stood in the center of the clearing, his lengthened arm throwing Tokra around like a rag doll.
"And this!" Cain continued, throwing Tokra into the air.
His fingers shot out at Tokra, the tips of them turning into large stone spears. Tokra turned over in the air, his eyes widening as he saw the spears coming at him. They drove hard through his shoulders, coming out of his back. He winced as he felt the spears go through, his body now being held up by Cain. Thankfully he was still in his rock form himself, but he couldn't hold onto it much longer. Not with what was being done to him.
"And let's not forget the finishing touch, Tokra." Cain said, laughinig again.
Tokra felt himself being brought down hard, the earth coming up roughly to meet him. Tokra hit the ground hard, his rock form now failing, causing him to feel the full force of the spears that held him. He yelled in pain, loud enough for the birds to take off from the trees. Cain smiled at his pain, drawing Tokra towards him. Tokra's eyes became blurry as he tried to focus on Cain, his parents killer.
"I have a message for your friends, the X-Men, Tokra." Cain said, staring into Tokra's eyes as they began to glaze over, "Tell them...the "insurrection" is coming, and soon there will be nothing left."
The fingers that impaled Tokra came out from his body, which fell to the floor. Cain moved Tokra's body with his foot, causing him to lay on his back. Cain bent down, smiling at him.
"By the way, you might want to get those wounds looked at. You could bleed to death from them."
Cain chuckled, then stood up and walked away into the forest, his body changing to it's normal form, his laughter echoing into the darkened woods. Tokra laid on his back, breathing slowly as the sound of his heart pulsed in his ears. He could feel his vision fading, the blood from his wounds slowly leaving him. He stared up at the sky as it began to disappear from his vision.
