“Technically he’s not part of the xmen yet, so he could probably get in when we couldn’t.” He looked at Alex when he said this as he entered the room; he then turned to address Ian. “Your also going to need some help so count me in because you’re not going by yourself.” John had just woken up from the gas a few minuets ago, and while he was looking for the others in the school he had over heard Ian’s insane plan to go to the brotherhoods headquarters. Even though John didn’t know Ian for that long he knew that he couldn’t let him do this on his own.
“So what do you say?” John gave Ian a look that said he really didn’t have a choice in the matter. John was going to go whether Ian liked it or not, and Ian probably knew that too.

"Look, Apocalypse is here, I saw him. So is another member of that group, and obviously close to Faith. So that must mean something big is going on."
All the questions she was asking seemed to jumble up as she spoke faster then even he could understand. When he heard another voice behind him, he almost jumped. Everything was so quiet he didn't expect John to be standing right behind him in the doorway. He addressed Ian and Ian turned and looked to the man. He could tell by the look on John's face that Ian didn't have to answer, but he could always use the help if things got bad.
"I say, the more the merrier." He smiled and looked to Alex, "You comin?"

John was taken aback when he heard that Apocalypse was here. He hadn’t known that little detail. “Wait, wait, wait, Apocalypse is here?” He asked the two of them looking between Ian and Alex. “Is there anything else that I should know about?”

"Yeah. Apocalypse's lab is destroyed, so is everything inside the mansion. Faith is dead and it looks like Apocalypse and the professor might be forming some sort of treaty...I think."
He looked to John and tried not to smile when he saw the look on the mans face. It was almost the same as Alex's, only more stunned. When he looked to Alex and heard her answer, he couldn't help but give a little laugh. He was glad to see that their "team" was starting to get bigger and bigger.
"Now let's just hope we can get out of here before we're caught. No doubt with this mess, Ayden and April missing, and Faith dead, they'll try to keep us all in."

"o.k then boys then lets get moving I dont want to be put on lock down i don't think any of us whould like that" Alex diside she like bending the rules a little it was for the grather good and it this type of stuasion what else was there to do besize sit around and wait and she was not going to sit around and wait that would just about kill her expully knowing that Faith was dead Logan and two other girls where missing and apocalypese was having a hart to hart with the professor. Things hear whent right and i was time that everyone stoped sitting around and waching and if that ment walking in to the brotherhood base then thats what it whould take. She smiled looking at the boy she did wonder though if she was just going to be in the way she didn't want to be in the way but she did relize that out of everyone who was coming so far she had the lest experice with anything remotely dangerous but she was deturmend to do the verry best anyone could do like she said earlyer she'd put her body soal and mind into this "mission" or whatever they where going to call it

"Are you three insane?"
Where Rose's voice came from, was a mystery. That is, until her head popped out from around the corner, her body leaned up against the wall, arms folded tightly across her chest and lips pursed. How long she had been there... Well long enough to hear their entire plan. "You're going to just waltz into the Brotherhood base and expect everything to be all fine and dandy? Or even get out of the school while it's on lockdown?" She motioned with her head to the metal sealed windows.
With a sigh, she shrugged away from the wall, taking a few steps forward though her unease was still present by her tense body language. "My bet is the Professor is keep everyone on tight surveillance right now, so how do any of you guys expect to get out undetected?" Obviously, she didn't include herself. She could easily shield her mind from telepaths if they weren't focusing to hard on her specifically. The others though...
A few moments of silence, and she finally... glared? Yes, she glared at Ian. Probably the most angry look she'd ever directed to him in the history of their friendship. At the same time though... She looked like she might cry. "How am I supposed to protect you, if you go looking for trouble?!" Rose had promised, to never let Ian get hurt, just like he had promised to never let her get hurt.

"Then let's get going then, the more we stand around the more time we waist."
He smiled at Alex and John, hoping that the three of them would be able to do this. He nearly jumped out of his skin when Rose's voice came from the doorway. He slowly turned around to see a very angry and upset looking . When she asked how they planned to get out with the school on lock down, he just smiled.
"That's easy, I just use my speed and the secret passage in the hallway and we're gone."
He could see Rose was upset and close to crying. He didn't know how to answer her when she asked how she would be able to protect him. He couldn't bring himself to tell her that he had recently come back from a battle in Tokyo and a one on one fight with Cain. That would've really thrown her over the edge. They had promised to protect each other and he endangered it then. It was then he got an idea, and walking up, placed his hands on Rose's shoulder and looked her in the eyes.
"Well...you could always come with us."

"And you plan on carrying both of them? You may be strong, but enough to carry two people?" Rose almost scoffed, though held it back so she didn't suddenly lose control of her emotions and really let them have it.
She fixed Ian with another dirty look when he put his hands on her shoulders, eyes locked with her own. For some reason she really wanted to hit him. Maybe knock him back to his senses. Completely ignoring his response, she spoke, her words like daggers. "If I asked you not to go, would you still do it?"

"Of course not, I'll just do it one at a time unless they have a better option."
He knew Rose was completely against his plan. When she asked him if he would go even if she told him not to, he nodded. His smile went away then, and he knew that if they were going to have an honest relationship, honesty is where he would have to start.
"Rose, listen. Cain is getting stronger. He's destroyed Tokyo and taken over the sentinels base. We were able to stop him but I don't know for how long. I have a feeling he's behind everything that's been happening. The brotherhood and mansion's attack, Tokra lieing in the infirmary."
All this was almost even too overwhelming for him. But he knew that if Rose knew what was going on, she would either help or let him go. Either way he was leaving, and if he had to do it alone then so be it.
"Apocalypse and Xavier are talking right now, but I don't know about what. We're going to the brotherhood base, or what's left of it, and talking them into helping. Rose...Faith is dead, I don't know how, but she is."

Rose felt her heart drop when he nodded. Sinking... sinking... Until all that was left was darkness. "Why...?"
Then, he continued. Each second felt like an eternity. That name.... Cain... All of this was his fault?! But how? Did that also mean Shadow was involved, or had their family reigned her in? Wait- did he say 'we', just there? HE had been part of the small group that went to Tokyo?!
He'd only paused for a moment, but when he continued, her heart sank even deeper. Faith was dead? But... how?
Rose shook her head, eyes shut tightly. "What do you expect to find there? The Brotherhood hates us. Why would any of them help?" She paused, opening her eyes once more to gaze at Ian, her emotions a mixture of depression, fear, and anger. "We aren't super heroes, Ian... If something happens, are you sure you can deal with the consequences?" Perhaps that could have been taken as a 'I'm not letting you out of my sight so you can do something stupid', but it could also be taken as 'Are you prepared to have either of their deaths on you?'.

"Because it's the right thing to do, Rose. I can't explain how, but I feel it."
He could tell Rose was upset, even as she tried to hide it. He didn't want to hurt her or keep things from her, but telling her about Cain made him think that it could work.
"I don't know what I'll find there, but when I tell them about Cain and what he did, I can only hope that they will listen to reason."
In the back of his mind he knew that there could be a fight breaking out at the brotherhood base any moment. He just hoped that he could work on things there while Apocalypse and Xavier work on things here. When Rose commented that they weren't superheroes, he couldn't help but agree.
"You're right, Rose, we aren't superheroes. But we aren't kids either, and this involves family. Besides, I personally wanted to do this alone cuz I knew I could get out of there. They're the ones that volunteered themselves."

Alex look back at Ian and rose as they talk. They each had very good points she knew the brotherhood hated them and she personally hated them just as much. but as Ian said this was family the xmen where her family and when one dies then the rest should go to what ever extremes to help each other so she was determined to help though she still thought it was crazy and had know idea how Ian expected to just talk to them. She knew what she had signed up for and she was willing to go to any extream "Yea Rose It's not like hes forseing us we know the cost of what where doing if we die who cares, if we are beaten to the ground then we did it for a good reason where doing this because we want to help. And its a lot better then just sitting around her all day long wondering what in the world is going on. We may not be superheroes but we each have something we can add to the team as a hole and when one of us falls we can just sit around like a bunch of babys we have to do something and Ian has a plan of some sort I know I don’t want to die but I am willing to die for what we have hear.

Rose gritted her teeth a little, a ‘tsk’ escaping her clenched teeth, before she shook her head. He felt it was right? “That sort of stuff only happens in movies.” A few moments paused, and she sighed, shaking her head a little. “If they don’t, and decide to kill you? What then?”
Like Ian, she knew what was probably happening. The Brotherhood was without a leader. They would be fighting amongst themselves for the position, killing anyone that got in their way.
Suddenly, she pushed herself away from Ian, the look in her eyes almost pleading. “Are you so willing to try and find recruits among the Brotherhood that you completely forgot who might be there?!” Her whole body involuntarily began to tremble as her thoughts wandered down that dark path. “If Shadow is there… She’ll pound all three of you into dust before you can even say the first word! What then? Are you willing to get yourself killed for nothing?” There was no question in her mind, Shadow could easily catch them, even with Ian’s speed. Even those micro second pauses he took would be to long when it came to Shadow. And even if she couldn’t lock onto him, all she’d have to do was corner him.
But, if Shadow was there… And a part of her was convinced her older cousin would be, Rose knew she’d have to go. She doubted she could beat Shadow, but she’d be able to hold her off long enough for the others to escape.
Finally though…. Rose seemed to give in, her sigh heavy. “You guys really want to do this?” She forced herself to chuckle a little, shaking her head, arms folded tightly against herself. “Well, at least one sane person should come to make sure you don’t do something completely stupid and get all of you killed.” The smile left by her chuckle vanished as she fixed Ian with a stern look. “And if you do try to do something stupid, I will stop you. Even if it means hitting all three of you over the heads and dragging you back here myself.” The tone she used left no doubt that she wouldn’t, the look in her eyes dead serious.

"I'm sure I'd be able to get everyone out in time so they wouldn't be killed. Unless they have someone there that's as fast as me that is."
When she mentioned Shadow being there, he couldn't help but be a little nervous. He had seen what Shadow could do, and couldn't help but feel he still had to do this. Even if it meant facing Shadow and her sister if she was there. Rose had mentioned them many times and every time it wasn't good. Another nod was given when Rose finally gave in and asked again if they were going to do this. He brightened when she said she was coming along and hugged her. He then smiled and looked to her.
"Let's go on a date when we get back. You and me."
