((Since I play Ayden as well and don’t feel like signing on and off, I shall make Ayden’s actions and words in blue. Just so no one gets confused.))
Mystique bit her lip as she distorted her body, her form molding into a massive knot on the side of a twisting oak. Getting into the mansion the first time was simple, but this time she needed a bit of alone time to figure out a plan. It was then that she remembered something that the girls had in common from glancing over their charts. The water. Mystique smiled and decided to go to the pool first, making her form melt away into a slight blond girl wearing a robe which concealed a massive needled, filled with a tranquilizer, which she would use to sedate her targets until they arrived back in the ruins.
As she normally was, Ayden had crawled in the pool only to sit on the smooth floor of the pool. She loved it there, mostly because when she was alone and the waters were still, she had the closest thing to silence that she could ever know. It was true that she could effortlessly stretch her mind and reach as many minds as she could while out of the water, but the water helped her to clear her mind and she needed that.
Out of the corner of her eye, Ayden caught sight of a shadow hovering over her in the pool. Deciding to be civil, Ayden pushed herself to the surface to look at the unfamiliar girl. “Hi. Are you new here or something?”
Mystique smiled and fingered the syringe in her robe. “Nope. I’ve been here plenty of times before.” Before Ayden could question with comment, Mystique quickly took the needle and injected it into Ayden’s neck. When the girl went limp, Mystique dipped down and pulled Xavier’s granddaughter from the pool only to sprint the short distance between the pool and her freshly stolen vehicle. After wrapping the girl in a few blankets to insure that she would still be alive by the time they got to the ruins. Next, it was time to find Alice. She smiled as she approached the boat house and morphed into someone that she was sure that she was sure Alice could relate to. Her daughter, Marie, who was more commonly known as Rogue.

If you knew Alice, it was easy to figure out where she would be, as she only went three places for more then a few minutes. Her room, class, and the boathouse. Seeing as classes were over for the day, that left only her room and the boathouse. But she didn't like to hide in her room on such nice days like this, so, the boathouse it was. Alice was strange, she liked warm days, as long as she was directly in the sun. She had to be in the shade, which always became much darker then natural because of her power. The boat house was very eerie, even during the day, the shadows seeming to swirl slowly, as if they were restless.
As Mystique approached the building, shadows in her path moved out of the way, not wanting to be stepped on apparently, returning to the boathouse and to Alice. When the woman, now disguised as Rogue finally entered the structure, she'd find a rather strange sight. Alice seemed to be stroking the shadows 'cuddling' closing to her body, as if they were pets. She certainly was comforted by the shadows, and they her. A few seconds passed before Alice noticed that more shadows had come to her side, alerting her that someone was there. Glancing up, she blinked when she spotted 'Rogue'. "Rogue? What are you doing here? I thought you were helping with the Danger room today." Though she was surprised, her voice showed absolutely no sign of it.

Mystique was a bit confused at the girl stroking the shadows that hugged her body, but she did her best to not show it. She smiled slightly and shrugged at Alice’s words. “I did, but my session was canceled.” From the way that Alice had addressed her, Mystique knew that Rogue and Alice were acquainted, which should have made her job easier.
“Did ya get sick of the mansion for the day?” she questioned, leaning against the wall of the boat house, which creaked beneath her weight. She quirked a brow and looked at the walls. “This place really is on the verge of collapsing, aint it?” she laughed lightly at this, her syringe tucked away in her sleeve, hidden from view, but ready to fly forth if it needed to.

"Oh...." Alice seemed to lose interest, glancing down at the shadows around her. Suddenly the faded away, 'regular' shadows returning to the Boat house so 'Rogue' would be able to see easier. Lightly, she kicked her feet in the water, sending ripples through the waves. "I guess. No one bothers me out here, and they don't seem to want me around the school during daylight hours." She paused, slowly glancing up at the crumbling ceiling, and collapsing walls. "Yeah. It is. But I like it this way. It has character." Once again... Treating the boathouse as if it were a real person. "It could use some repairs though... It'd be sort of bad if it collapsed when someone else was inside it." And once again, someone else obviously didn't include her. She obviously didn't see that it could hurt her if it fell. After all, the shadows would protect her if it did.

For the first time, Mystique was beginning to feel unsure about how to get the girl to succumb to what she needed her to do. It was then, she had an idea. She recalled something she had seen in Alice’s file when she was in the mansion before. The thing that had been keeping the girl awake.
Finally, Mystique sat beside the girl, her feet dangling a few inches off the ground. She sighed leaned forward, gazing down at the dark glossy water. “Have you ever been tempted?” she asked, her gaze intent on the liquid.
She made it a point to not ellaborate on what she would be tempted to do, but she had an idea that there was at least one tiny thing both she and Rogue had in common. One thing that might prove to be enticing from time to time. She had even seen Rogue nearly give into the urge before. The ability to kill.

Alice seemed to freeze when she heard 'Rogue's question, by no means having ever expected someone to ask her that. Though not to many people understood what the 'corruption' was, so it wasn't to surprising. She took a deep breath, closing her eyes and head turned downward. "It depends on what sort of temptation'." She opened her eyes again, staring up at the sky through the holes in the roof. "Most things, not really... But I'm always fighting the urge to hurt someone..." She paused.
"The Professor says that other people like me called it their Corruption. That something inside us, something because of our power, is always wanting to hurt and kill people." Another pause. "It's not always strong though, but it's always there. Even right now a part of me is wanting to hurt you... Have your blood on my hands." Alice looked down, closing her eyes once more. "I don't really know what happens to me when it happens. I can't remember it. It's like I fall asleep, and when I wake up, someone is hurt or dead..."
In some ways, Alice's power terrified her. Always having the urge to kill whoever was next to her, never able to relax for even a moment.

Mystique successfully kept the smile that wanted her lips at bay as she listened to Alice as she gave her the explanation that she didn’t need. However, it gave her plenty of time. To draw the needle slightly out of her sleeve.
The needle was small. Not even the length of a pinky fingernail. However, it delivered the rapid and powerful tranquilizer quicker than a typical needle. The particular tranquilizer was created especially for mutants. All who it had been tested upon had succumb to its chemicals. Mystique had been around fear, caused it, and even felt it, enough to clearly see that Alice was slightly fearful of her ability.
When the girl finished, Mystique smiled, “It could be useful, if you were surrounded by the right people.” Mystique looked at the girl and her eyes flashed their true, yellow and catlike form, but by then, the needle was already in Alice’s side and the chemicals in her bloodstream. She stood and transformed into another familiar figure to Alice. Ororo Munroe. “I told you we would be meeting again.”

Alice was slightly surprised that 'Rogue' let her keep on rambling. Though she was more then a little surprised when she finally spoke. Her eyes flew open, turning to stare at Rogue in pure and complete shock. Before she could say anything though, she felt a sharp pain in her side. "What...?" What had Rogue done...? And her eyes... Yellow and catlike... This wasn't Rogue! She could feel her head pounding already. Whatever she had been stabbed with was making her woozy, it took all her strength to stay up right. When the woman she thought had been Rogue stood and transformed into Storm, her eyes widened a little. So the Storm she'd run into at the school hadn't been the real Storm..? But who was this that pretended to be her and Rogue..?
"Who... are you...?" Her words were slurring together, the world spinning. Her body drooping backward onto the weathered wood, eyes slowly shutting. Who was she..? Why had she drugged Alice..? And then... the true darkness that was sleep.
