"Ah, Shadow, what a pleasant surprise."
Being taunted while he was in a decent mood was usually what got people injured or driven insane. Taunting him when he was in bad mood such as this is what usually got people killed or slaughtered. He turned and looked to Shadow, bringing his usual cold smile out for her. He then looked to the remains of the sentinels and then back to her.
"You didn't like my gifts? I thought it would be a nice present to bring us together again." he smiled, "And no, you weren't the only one I sent them to. I sent them to both the brotherhood and the X-Men. I wanted to make sure they didn't stand, but it seems I'll need to send more."
He smiled and pressed a button on the control panel, the factory coming to life once more, and more sentinels began marching off the line and out into the open. He walked over and placed an arm around Shadow, turning her and pointing in the direction of where Logan's skeleton hung. The bones had slowly began forming muscle, so it seemed that he was slowly but surely returning to himself.
"That, Shadow, is what remains of our friend Wolverine. I had to "borrow" the metal on his skeleton. I'm sure you saw the broadcast of the scientist that I had shown earlier?"

Shadow just smirked, coming to a stop only a few short feet from him. Closer then most peopled dared to get. "If you had wanted to see me that badly you could have just called, you know. Now we have to work on repairs. And you know how long those can take." She wasn't at all concerned with the harm it caused her people, just that it would cost plenty of money and time to fix the damage.
When he mentioned others being sent them, she almost laughed. "Well, it looks like you might have underestimated them. Perhaps giving away what they were made of ruined the surprise." She suddenly paused when he mentioned the Brotherhood, suddenly annoyed herself if only because her... precious cousin Sky had been there at the time. She tried to ignore the annoyance though, letting Cain have his way in turning her around to face Logan.
"Looks like he's recovering already." She didn't like Logan to much. If only because his healing factor made him an annoyance in battle. You hit him, and he just gets right back up, the injuries caused already gone. Only when he mentioned the broadcast did she slowly look at him, her expression just about calling him an idiot. "Everyone saw you're broadcast. Like I said. You shouldn't have said what they were made of. All you did was give them adequate time to discover a way to destroy them, Adamantium or not."

"You have such small hopes, Shadow." he said, turning back towards the control panel and looking out at the window, "The humans don't know how to defend against it, and those that do are . They wouldn't listen to mutants either, and even those are being distracted by the amount I'm making. Quantity over quality."
He knew that he had slipped when he told the people what his creations were made of. Nobody but a select few knew the weakness to it, and he even said that those who did were or mutants. He smiled as he walked past her and down the ramp, standing on one of the platforms that met between the two ramps he had made. He did this, of course, for two reasons. One to get a better view of his creations, and second to get Shadow in range of Jackie in case things got out of hand.
"Why not have your Nightmares join my little cause. We could share in the glory of this world's destruction."

Shadow just fixed him with that same look as before, before looking away once again. "You act as if you have hopes of your own." She paused. "Hopes are only for those unwilling or unable to make their desires come to pass." In other words- she had none.
"If the amount is so distracting, then how have all of them already been destroyed?" She raised an eyebrow, looking at him once more with a smirk on her lips, as if laughing at him.
As Cain moved down to another ramp, she sighed, shaking her head but followed. He was probably just wanting to watch his assembly line a little better and she didn't feel like depriving him of that. And since she rather not yell, it was only logical to follow. If only she knew of the other person.... "The world's destruction?" She paused, half chuckling. "You must not see it then. You destroy the world, and what is left? Nothing. I enjoy destroying what is built. But if nothing were built, what would I do with my spare time?" Shadow smirked.

"If such desires are unable to be achieved, why am I achieving them?"
He smirked and looked to her, the anger in his eyes being hidden as she mocked him. He had a feeling she wasn't planning on joining him, but he wanted to make sure. He chuckled when she asked what she would do if the world was destroyed.
"Shadow, you don't see the big picture. I plan to remake this planet. Anybody who follows me will be saved, any who don't will either become my slaves...or die."

Shadow just shrugged, not bothering, or wanting, to give any sort of answer. To even think Cain bother with hopes and dreams disgusted her. What had happened to the man that had fascinated her? He seemed nothing more then a dictator now.
Only when he spoke of those who would follow him, and those who wouldn't, her expression suddenly went still, the shadows hidden from it... Which usually meant she was angry, or about to be. Shadow suddenly crossed the distance between them, coming bare inches from him. "And if I were to refuse... You really think you could make me your slave, or kill me?" Her voice was quiet, little more then a whisper, but something about it wrecked with tension. Tension built when she was preparing to lash out.
Suddenly she smirked, leaning away so there was a little more space between them. "I will give you some advice though. Before you even think about having my people pick sides, you should take care of those opposing you." Ah, and there it was. Why the Nightmares hadn't done anything since he started his crusade. They were waiting. "Besides. I might know what happened to your Sentinels at the Brotherhood's base." There was definitely no might in that, she knew, but she was baiting him. Seeing what he might offer in exchange for the information.

He knew he had gotten her attention when he mentioned what would happen to those that didn't follow him. He only stood there and smiled when she approached him, he could tell the anger that wanted to come out. He raised a brow when she offered her advice, and he couldn't help but find the logic in her words. Of course, the Nightmares weren't ones to be talked into sides, but swayed by power. Whoever had the most power, usually won.
"Oh? And what would you ask for return for such information?" Cain asked with his usual smile. He wasn't a fool, he knew that Shadow would want something for information, something important.

Cain caught on rather quickly. Perhaps it would mean he doubled his efforts in dominating the world. He knew what sort of power he'd get if he got the Nightmares on his side, and the only way to do that was to impress them.
Shadow on the other hand, wasn't as easily swayed as her followers. She needed more then a little show of power to sway her. He'd have to do something particularly devastating to get her on his side. And if he couldn't do that? Well, let's just say the Nightmares would join neither side, but... clean up the mess when both sides were near their ends.
Only when Cain spoke once more did she smirk, the emotion half daring him. "Hm... I'm sure you could come up with something." Of course, there was but one, well two things she wanted. And she knew Cain could do it. All she had to do now, was decide which she wanted more. Finally she decided.
Reaching into her pocket she pulled out a flash drive, tossing it to him. "I decided. I doubt you'll be able to refuse." A short pause. "The recording in on the flash drive. One of my people witnessed your little party at the Brotherhood. He recorded it and sent it to me." Her expression darkened a tad. "You may know what it is I want after you watch it."

His curiosity was peaked even further as she tossed the flash drive to him. As she explained what was on it, he looked to her with even more curiosity before placing the drive into the computer. It was all static for the first part, but he then saw Sky and Rose, but they weren't fighting, instead they were hugging and talking. He smirked as he saw this.
"It seems your sister has a hard time choosing importance."
The camera panned to the right, where he saw Ian and two other mutants. His anger flared as he saw point of vengeance. He then saw the sentinels attack, Ian grab Rose out of the way of a blast. Next he saw Rose destroy one of his sentinels and save, Ian. What happened next made him not only smile, but laugh. They kissed, and worked together to take down the second sentinel. He chuckled, then began to laugh.
"It seems we have a connection. What you want seems to be in love with what I want." he looked to her, "Perhaps we can help each other. Use one as bait to grab the other. I'll have Ian to do as I please, and you will have Rose all to yourself. A tempting offer, yes?"

((Cousin, again XP. Sky+Rose=Sisters. Shadow+Parker=siblings. Shadow&Parker+Sky&Rose=cousins.))
"I don't care what Sky does. She's always been that disgustingly affectionate for her baby sister." It probably would have shocked Shadow more if Sky hadn't acted that way. But at the same time, Sky knew her limits. She didn't let her love for Rose blind her.
She'd already watched the recording a handful of times, but it still annoyed her. That Rose was capable of such a thing, especially after training by herself most the time. That she could achieve that level of control alone disgusted Shadow.
Only when it was over and Cain spoke, did she smirk. "I've grown tired of hunting Rose. So, for my sharing this... interesting information with you, I want you to handle her for me." Her tone was dark, and left no room for doubt. "I want you to crush her. And just think, you'll get your uncatchable boy in the same breath."

Nothing that had ever been said to him before made him smile more then what she had said to him. She had left Rose in his "care", and that ment that Ian and Rose would be his for the taking. He couldn't stop the laughter that came from his lips as he realized the joy he was going to have with this.
"That is all is it?" he said, turning to her, "I kill Rose, and get the boy in return."
He stood, sweeping his arm behind him in a graceful bow. His hair falling over his face as his cold smile grew even colder, if ever. The darkness in his eyes as he looked up could hide the sun inside of them. He stood up, still smiling. Having the chance to destroy two problems at once was a joy seldom expected. But he knew Shadow long enough to know that giving him Rose to kill was small compaired to other things she could need from him.
"In return for such a gracious gift, I will return your sister when I'm done with her. One piece at a time of course. Yet I wonder, someone such as you wouldn't ask for something as small as the of a pest. Surely there's something else on that malicious mind of yours, am I correct?"

Shadow just smirked, realizing he probably thought this the simplest task in the world. "Exactly." She paused, motioning back to the monitor. "But after what you've just seen, I'm sure you noticed that she's much stronger then the last time you saw her. It may not be as simple as the first time." Cain and Rose had... met once before and Cain had easily over powered the girl. Since then though, Rose had trained vigorously, never taking a single day off, and her efforts were starting to show.
When he spoke of other plans, Shadow smirked. He certainly caught on quickly. "I need her out of the way. So I can... find my little brother in peace." Parker Nightshade. Her hatred to Rose was nothing compared to her brother. She'd tried to kill the boy countless times, but had always been stopped by their family. But no more. He wasn't under their parents' protection any longer. It meant she could finally get rid of the one thing she truly hated.

"Ah, move one pest out of the way, so the bigger pest can be squashed. I see." he gave a small chuckle, "Simple enough. The security in the mansion has been destroyed, anybody can get in or out now. I will simply catch one or the other and use them as bait. Both will be gone, leaving you to get the one thing you crave more then Rose."
He smirked and looked to her. Indeed Rose's power had grown to considerable strengths, but that only ment he would have more fun destroying her. Maybe he'll let Jackie have some fun with their minds. Break them down mentally before he broke them physically.
"So I kill Rose and Ian, you get your target mutant, and all I get is information on the two?" he raise a brow, a half smile forming, "Surely, Shadow, you know my price for such a task reaches higher then just a video footage."

Shadow merely smirked. "Exactly like that." She'd lost interest in Rose. Parker was the bigger threat to the family. He knew far more then Rose had. He had to destroy him before he could reveal all their secrets. Rose was merely an annoying pest, that if she wasn't taken care of now, could prove dangerous later. Shadow wouldn't risk the chance of that happening.
Shadow couldn't help but be curious as to what Cain might do to capture either of the two. The logical choice would be Ian, but with that speed of his, he'd be near impossible to catch. So that left Cain with only one choice, to capture Rose first. It could prove either extremely easy, by taking her by surprise, or life threatening if spotted.
Only when Cain spoke once more did she slowly, very slowly, lean forward once more, her face bare inches from his. "No. You get the full force of the Nightmares. And I do mean full." She leaned back, arms lightly crossing across her chest. To any other person, they would just think that meant the group and Shadow would support him. But it was far more expansive then that. It also included her entire family. With the Nightshade's at his back, Cain would be near unstoppable.

He listened as she leaned forward and spoke. Many people were afraid of Shadow, but he knew about an ace in the hole that she didn't. When she said the full force of the Nightmares, at first he thought it would be just the group. It was only a bit when his face gave a look of understanding, and was quickly replaced by a look of hunger for the power he would received. He held out a hand to her.
"I beleive we have a deal then. The last thing Rose and Ian will see, is the of one another, and then their s."
He was glad that Shadow couldn't read thoughts, otherwise she would notice an alternative plan forming in the back of his mind. A plan that he would only share with his partner in this, and not with any members of the Nightmares, not even Shadow. He was sure that Jackie would love the thought of a powerful member of the nightmares, and the fastest member of the X-mansion under their control. He would only let Shadow think he had killed Rose...for now. That brought another thought to his mind.
"Of course you would be wanting proof, would you not?"
