Ian stood with his friends Alex and John on the edge of the ruins. They used what knowledge they had of the brotherhood to locate the ruins. It was hard but they finally made it to the Brotherhood's base. Unfortunately, the welcome didn't seem all that friendly. No sooner had they stepped foot onto the island, that members of the brotherhood began coming out of the cave and different hiding places. Well, this didn't turn out the way I hoped he thought. Taking a deep breath, he took a few steps forward.
"My name is Ian. I need to speak with who is in command right now."
He knew that Apocalypse was at the mansion, so he wasn't in command at the moment. He hoped that who ever was in command would be able to listen to him. He also hoped that the person would be able to listen without stringing him and his friends up as punching bags for the brotherhood.

Alex knew this was a bad idea she knew the brotherhood would not welcome them with open arms she wanted to turn to Ian and say I knew this was a bad idea but she figured that now was a good time for her to luren what the word shut up meant. Alex tryed her best not to look compleaty scared and she was doing a good job though she looked more like she really need to go then anything she was scared she hoped that Ian planed would work because she did not want to die today. She saw the brotherhood come out of the cave and other hiding spots it reminded her of bugs when they clarw out of there hiding spots or wolfs surrounding there pray she started pichering the members of the brotherhood as these type of cheaters it supizing made her less scared. She was careful not to think to much on what she viewed the brotherhood so she would just see the ceachers that her mind was replacing with the brotherhood. she took a deep breath remembering for a moment where she was "Ian you better of not gotten us killed" she mutterd to her self as Ian step forward and interdused him self

"Alex... Don't worry. They won't be able to harm any of us."
Never before had anyone seen Rose like this. Her nerves were calm, and composed, her body relaxed, not even her voice sounded in any way nervous or stressed. If anything, she seemed completely at home with this situation. A bored smile touched her lips, arms crossed lightly across her chest. With how relaxed she was, she kept her voice at a whisper, if only to help calm the other's nerves. But if anything it just might freak them out even more. Only Ian would know why she was so sure of herself.
"They're be nothing more then pests..." She smirked a little. Now, if Shadow or Sky was there, that was a different story all together... Suddenly though, she almost laughed. Would they still be so cocky if they found out who Rose was?

(since John isn't posting I will)
As more members of the brotherhood came out to "greet them", he began to seriously doubt that coming her was the best idea. It didn't help matters when Rose suddenly began to laugh. He looked at her oddly, wondering what she was laughing about. It took a bit for him to realize why she was so calm. She was a Nightshade after all, and like her sisters, she looked the same if not younger then them. He smiled, giving her a wink that showed he understood. He then looked towards the others.
"So, who is in charge here?"

Sky stood off in the distance, watching the brats from the X-Men walk into the ruins. But it was Rose she was focused on and with the way Rose was smiling, Sky knew Rose was completely confident. Of course, Sky wasn't worried.
Do you think this is a good idea, Ro-chan? Sky casually walked up behind everyone, a smirk on her face, wearing long black high-heeled boots, a purple mini skirt and a black tank-top with an assortment of beads and necklaces. Her long black fingernails were twirled up in her necklaces, while she chewed on some gum. She looked almost...normal. Except for the fact that she emanated a powerful, evil aura.
Sky then triggered chemicals in everyone's minds and made everyone sleepy. Everyone except Rose. They soon started collapsing as Sky continued walking as if nothing was happening.

((Sister and cousins! You never get it right XP))
Rose just shrugged at Ian when she got the weird look from him, or from the Brotherhood that was beginning to surround them. Only when she heard that familiar voice in her head... A voice that was both comforting and terrifying, did her over confident smirk vanish, replaced with sheer surprise. "Sky?"
Right then, she spotted the mutants dropping like flies. Sky's doing? Probably. But she didn't care. It was her sister! She hadn't seen Sky for how long?! Upon spotting her sister, her smile returned, but it was much brighter and enthusiastic. "Sky!!" She broke away from the group, racing towards her sister in a dead run. Everyone else seemed to vanish. Her arms wrapped tightly around Sky when she was finally in reach, before remembering what Sky had said. "I do not think this was a good idea! I only came along so they didn't get themselves killed!" She paused. "Could you wake them up, please?"

Sky smiled for the first time in a while when her little sister ran towards her and felt her arms around her. People continued to drop, but she didn't care. Sky then giggled when Rose finally responded to her question and asked her to wake everyone up.
Oh, I just wanted some privacy with my baby sister. And it's...also fun. But, before I wake everyone up, what are you guys doing here?

Rose couldn't help but grin a little wider when Sky giggled and responded. How long had it been since she was called 'baby sister'? Sure, she felt she had outgrown the term, but when you hadn't seen the sister in such a long time, she didn't seem to mind. "I know. But this isn't a time for them to sleep."
She paused at Sky's question, having to stop to carefully select her words. "They wanted to come find recruits, because Apocalypse is at the school. I didn't want them to come alone, in case...." Sky would know what the in case meant. Shadow.

Sky nodded, but she wasn't really worried.
My security system at the island was set off. One of the sentinels is attacking our base, so Shadow is a little preoccupied at the moment. Then Sky looked at the rest of the X-Men, but paid a little more interest in Ian than the rest of them. She soon turned back to Rose with a little smirk on her face.
Is my sister having a little crush?

Rose almost let out a sigh of relief when Sky announced Shadow wasn't there. Of course, it had been cut off by Sky mentioning Ian. Her face went a bright red, a part of her feeling completely violated t hat her sister was digging in their heads, but the other part just shrugging it off because Sky always dug around in peoples heads. "N-no! Of course not!" Obvious lying. And very bad lying at that, but perhaps the words, even in a lie, helped reassure the girl that the feelings she was starting to develop were normal, and meant nothing in the least.
"Please, wake them up?"

Far off from the ruins, but gaining ground all the same, were two more of the metallic giants sent from Cain's fortress. Their target was the brotherhood base, and while the two at the Nightmare's base were gathering, or destroying, mutants, these two would be sent to do the same with the brotherhood base. To Cain, Apocalypse was dead, and therefore could not be able to assemble the brotherhood members. The island was getting close, and the sentinels scanners began to pick up signs of life.
"Mutant signatures confirmed. Prepare to engage."

*Twyll had been... lurking in the woods, you might say. She was pissed at Apocalypse's absence, considering she returned from a mission a day after he was gone. Twyll had been scouting possible recruits and had information for him but now he was gone. For the past few days, Twyll had been burning down random trees, killing some animals, and the like. She hadn't been back to the Ruins since she had arrived.*
*Walking ever so quietly, Twyll pushed aside some branches and came upon two giant Sentinals. She stopped, gaped at the enormous beings, and barely caught herself from screaming. She started backing up slowly, but her foot got caught on a low root, and tripped. A twig snapped and she knew they would be on her soon. But her mind wouldn't think of what to do.*

Sky just smiled when Rose stammered a bit.
It's ok, Ro-chan. I-- She suddenly looked up in alarm when she heard someone's mind that was close by. Sky rummaged in their mind for a minute, when she got a picture in her head. Sentinels. Two of them. She then woke everyone up.
I think we have some unexpected company... Sky looked in the direction from where the sentinels were approaching.

He couldn't really understand what happened. One minute he was standing in front of a group of brotherhood members, and the next thing he knew he was getting up from the ground feeling like he had been sleeping for a few hours. When he stood up and brushed him off, he looked around to see if the others were ok. He saw Alex in the same condition as he was, but when he looked at Rose, he almost shook his head. He thought he was seeing double, except the other looked like an older version of Rose. She wasn't Shadow, he knew that, but who was she? She even let him live, and he knew this cuz he was still alive and standing. He was about to ask when she mentioned company.
"Huh? Company?"
He looked in the direction she was and didn't see anything for a moment, but then he saw two forms flying through the air towards them. The Brotherhood members scattered as two giant robots landed and looked around. It was like the color drained from his face, he knew what they were, but how could they be standing?
"I don't get it. I destroyed the factory they were in. They're different though, a different kind of metal."
The sentinels stood taller then usual, and as they looked around, he could tell they were scanning the area. He walked over and stood next to Rose and Shadow. He looked over to Rose with a little smile.
"Next time you say "don't do it", I'll listen."
The sentinels looked over to the three of them, and their focus then turned directly to Ian. Both robots and it was then that Ian felt he was in big trouble. He was right when they started their next command.
"Initiate capture of mutants. Priority capture: Ian Snyder"
"Priority?" Ian said with a little worry, "That's not a good thing..."

Alex woke up as confused as ever what in the world had happened. One moment she was on the brotherhood Island the next she was passed out she figured that she must still be on the dock based on what she could feel around her. She was almost scared to get up for the fact that last time she had token an unexpected nap the school got destroyed and Faith died but as she thought about it more clearly what possibly could be worst then what had happened at the school earlier. She stood up and saw Ian and Rose and someone who looked older the Rose who must have been form the brotherhood. She saw that Ian and Rose where looking at something when she turned at looked she almost let out a scream but was to scared. Sentiles she’d seen them on T.v when they destroyed thing she always turned in off in fear of nightmares that night she had decided months ago that if she ever ran into one she’d run away but where was there to run they where on some dumb Island. Alex mind was racing so fast between the Sentiles her Friends where they where and how in the world they where going to stop them she new very well. Her power would be useless how are you suppose to mess with something’s senses when they don’t have senses. When the Sentiles scanned the area she grew even more consured she did not know why but the Sentiles really wanted Ian. Alex move next to Ian and Rose hoping they had some sort of plan she tried not to look scared and was even somewhat pulling it off as she looked the Sentiles Alex was deturmed no one else was going to die or get captured today if she had anything to about it she would fight until shed died. “So what’s the plan guy” she said smiling but she could feel she was shacking a little. “Ian next time you have a crazy plan I sure hope it does not include killer robots” She smiled at him hoping to lighten the mood a little well this is going to be fun she thought.
