Sky just glared at Cain when he mentioned her walking in on them. Oh, did I come in on something that I wasn't supposed to hear? She said sarcastically. But then she felt herself being lifted off the ground. Sky closed her eyes as she waited for Shadow's power to kill her. Sky could literally see Shadow's fury, but obviously she was holding back. Apparently the Elders wanted her alive. When Shadow voiced her anger, Sky just stared back, insulted. "You know very well how much I hate the X-Men! I was only there for my sister and nothing else. Did you seriously expect me to do nothing when my sister was attacked?" Sky replied.
When Cain mentioned her allegiance and Rose, Sky's sarcastic smile faded into a mask of indifference, hiding her true feelings behind them. She wanted to kill him. Sky completely hated this man for doing what he did to Rose, her own sister. And he seriously didn't expect her to do something about it? But then Sky smirked as she read Cain's mind on what he was telling Shadow.
"You're a Milena. The last of the bloodline...well, you sure have a lot of responsibility on your shoulders, Cain." Sky didn't dare voice her surprise when she read that he had actually met the first original member of the family. But she was disgusted that Cain was trying to find a way to continue his bloodline...

((yeah let's let it be that they've talked with them. I dunno how we'd play it out anyway))
"Shadow, perhaps we can eliminate this annoyance once and for all. I'm sure the elders would allow an...accident to occur."
He smirked, looking up at Sky as he did. He flexed his fingers, ready to do anything Shadow wanted towards her sister. He could feel her invading his mind, but was ready for her this time. So she wanted to read his thoughts? Fine. He allowed images to play into his mind, images of him torturing and tormenting Rose until she begged for , as well as him just her completely. He chuckled as she mentioned his line.
"The line means nothing to me. I am only seeking what my grandmother wants, and then I'll return to destroying this planet and changing it to my own means," he looked to Shadow, "with some assistance. By the way," he looked back to Sky, "How is dear Rose doing? Perhaps I should pay her a visit...just to check up on her of course."

"You're to fond of Rose." was all Shadow set as she finally dropped Sky to the ground, not even bothering to be gentle about it. She knew Sky wouldn't 'turn' on them completely, but Rose had Sky wrapped around her fingers. It was disgusting. If Shadow were to get rid of Rose, she knew Sky wouldn't complain about it. She was smarter then that. But if someone else did or tried, Sky would give them Hell.
"Sometimes, I wish I could, Cain." Shadow paused, glaring a little. "But, sadly for either of us, the Elders know accidents don't happen." Neither Cain or Shadow let accidents happen. Everything they did was intended. THey couldn't 'accidentally' kill Sky. Shadow would just have to come up with another way to punish her younger cousin.

Sky dropped hard onto the floor as Shadow released her. When Cain mentioned "checking up" on Rose, panic gripped her. But of course, she hid behind her mask of indifference. Rose was in no condition for a visit from Cain. Only that idiot Ian was protecting Rose, since she had lost her memory. Rose was rendered useless...she didn't even know how to use her own powers. Sky then turned towards Cain with anger.
"You wouldn't dare. Damn....Cain her cornered. By threatening Rose...Cain could use Sky however he wished. For a moment, Sky wished she wasn't so protective of Rose.

"Ah, do I detect a weakness within the all powerful Sky Nightshade?"
He narrowed his eyes and grinned coldly. Something was going on, something Sky wasn't saying. She was protective of Rose, but something about Rose made her even more afraid this time. He chuckled and looked to Shadow, hoping she saw the same thing he did. you wouldn't dare was what he heard next. Was she challenging him? Oh this was good.
"Maybe I would, maybe I wouldn't. Let's find out shall we?" he looked to Shadow, the gleam in his eye was back, "I shall return shortly."
He then turned, heading towards the water.

Sky widened her eyes as Cain headed off to find Rose. It made her so sick to do this. But it was all in protecting Rose from Cain.
"Stop...just...what do you want from me? Just don't go after Rose anymore. It's annoying to try and stop you all the time. Sky cringed. She couldn't believe she was SAYING this! But she had no choice if she wanted to protect Rose in her condition.

He stopped as his toes touched the edge of the water. Bingo, was the only thought in his mind. Sky had constantly gone after him and attacked him when ever Rose was mentioned, but something this time had withered her down to begging him not to kill her. He had told Shadow about needing an heir, but Shadow was not willing to do so. He didn't want to try and force her either, the risk of damaging his allegiance with the Nightshades was great. But Sky would do anything for Rose, even...
"There is nothing I would want from you, Sky, then to see your face as I hold Rose's bleeding corps in my hand, however." that smile returned as he turned towards Sky, "I am a man who enjoys making deals. Give me an heir to the Milena line, and I will make sure that no harm comes to Rose."

Sky gritted her teeth when Cain stopped and turned around with a cold smile. But she didn't want Cain going after Rose while her memory was gone. He would succeed this time if he did. Her anger boiled when he mentioned holding Rose's corpse, but she was completely shocked when he asked her if she could...be the mother of his child!? Her eyes widened in complete and utter surprise. Sky wasn't expecting this, which was rare.
After the shock wore off, Sky wore a face of complete disgust for Cain. She breathed heavily, considering her options. If she refused, Cain would hunt down Rose and kill her, just to spite her. But...if she agreed, he would leave Rose alone...considering he would actually keep his word. Cain asked for a lot...but she would do anything for her little sister. Sky grimaced...she never thought she would see this day.
"You have to keep your word...that you will never go after Rose again. None of your minions. Not you. Ever." Sky heaved a shuddering breath. "I'll do it."

What Shadow must be thinking right now, how much joy she must be seeing in the torment Cain was putting Sky through. The look of anger turned disgust was like the sweetest candy that one would ever taste in Cain's eyes. All this time Sky had been such a bother to him, and even Shadow wanted her dead but couldn't. This was sweet revenge for him, and when she made him promise not to let him or his minions hurt Rose, he gave a graceful yet mocking bow, seeing where the hole in the promise was.
"I swear on my life, Sky, that neither me or anybody under my command will cause Rose pain or death." he stood, looking to Shadow as he said this, hoping she got his meaning, then looking back to Sky, "As long as you keep the child safe before and after they're born."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The water churned and stirred once more, as the familiar figure of Cain stepped onto the island. There was new life in him, and new joy to share. Shadow would enjoy the news that he was going to give her. He walked onto the island, standing in his usual spot away from the entrance to the cave. He stayed there, letting the cold wind blow his coat and hair around, his hand reaching up to move some strands out of his face.
He looked around at the island as he waited, seeing the damage that Shadow and the Sentinels had made were completely gone and healed. He found that a pity, believing the chaos and destruction that almost tore this island apart gave it a nice touch. He chuckled absently at the many things that played in his mind, but above all the broken body of Ian was the one that gave him the most pleasure, and Rose was the one that caused it.
"Oh, Shadow." he said quietly, letting his words get taken by the strong wind, "Have I got news for you."

Ever since Cain and Sky had 'gotten together', they'd been starting to annoy Shadow like the world was going to end tomorrow. All their slinking around, Sky's mood swings and morning sickness... All their.... lovey dovey moments. It was enough to make Shadow gag. So when Sky had asked to go to Cain's base of operation for the rest of the duration of her pregnancy, Shadows.... overjoyed? Finally she was rid of the nuisance!
As it was though, she still had to deal with Cain, but at least he wasn't as love struck as Sky was, and when he did come to visit it was all business... Which Shadow was grateful for. So, when she felt movement up above, she wasted no time getting up there. It was probably Cain. With news of some sort. She arrived at the entrance just in time to catch him talking to himself about having news. "What sort of news are you talking about?" She smirked a little, recognizing the dark expression on his face as one he always wore when he was anxious to tell her something. And that was always good news...

"Shadow, my dear. Your presence is a sight to see as always."
He smiled as he saw Shadow, wondering how well she was going to take the news he was going to give her. He had seen her mad, angry, even furious with Sky after what she had done. But how would Shadow be when news would no doubt make her overjoyed, even excited. He gave his usual bow towards Shadow, which he had done on many occasions.
"You will be pleased to know that Rose is out of the way. She has amnesia, and doesn't even remember who she is. Parker...is yours." his smile grew as he continued, "However, I didn't kill her. In fact, with the help of the Ian boy, it appears her "darker persona" has surfaced. She killed Ian."

Shadow just stared at him blankly when he spoke, not at all interested in the formalities. She wasn't to happy with Cain either. He was the one causing Sky to be all crazy like this. He was just as much to blame as Sky. But... She still had to put up with him. Thankfully, he didn't let his... personal life get in the way of these meetings of theirs.
She folded her arms lightly across her chest as he spoke. Rose... had amnesia? Now how did that happen? Now she was far to curious. "How?" But now... Now Parker was free for the taking! Rose was out of the way! She could finally end that miserable boy's life! Finally get rid of the competition... No one would dare challenge Shadow's rights to be the next Head of the Nightshades if she killed the only male heir.
Shadow's thoughts came to a shrieking halt as Cain continued though. Her eyes actually widening in shock. "Bring her to me. Now." Shadow had to see Rose. She wouldn't harm the girl, not if she was returning to the Nightshade ways. But there was something she had to see for herself...

"I am not sure how, but she's out of the way, as you requested."
He smirked and chuckled at the look of shock on Shadow's face. He couldn't help but stand there and relish in the reaction he put on Shadow's face. It's true that Sky and him were a couple now, and Sky's emotions were giving her powers a boost and causing them to go haywire. When Shadow said she wanted Rose there as soon as possible, he gave another bow.
"Your wish is my command as always, Shadow." he smiled and turned, heading into the water. His form taking the same material as the liquid, and he was gone.
