It had been a long time since he had set foot on the island where the Nightmares lived. The last time he did was when he had brought Crystal to give to Shadow, he couldn't help but miss those days. As his liquid form stepped from the ocean and onto the land, the water seemed to slip from his body, changing him back to where he was.
He looked around at the island, seeing the damage his sentinels did to it. He had to smirk at how quickly Shadow had taken care of them, but at least he managed to get her attention. He had found out that not only had Shadow, Logan, Ian and Meav disappeared, but they had help from the Remnants Rika and Black Cat. What made matters worse was his factory was completely destroyed.
But instead of being angry or vengeful, Cain was glad, which tends to be alot worse. He still had the MRF building under his control, and thanks to his meeting with Pitsha, things were going to start getting very interesting for him, and if Shadow's lucky, for her to.
"Shadow...come out, come out, where ever you are."

Shadow had been having a rough couple of days. Her cousin, Sky, had officially betrayed them. She was with Rose, wherever Rose was now. Oh, was she annoyed.. The damage outside wasn't just from Cain's Sentinels. No... Some of it was from Shadow's anger. She was not in the mood for near anything right now. In some ways, she was even sulking.
Then, Shadow felt movement, up above near the entrance to her home. Who would dare come at a time like this?! But, she went to investigate, her anger cracking the walls and floors with each step. Finally, when she reached the surface, she found herself face to face with Cain. Had he heard about Sky's betrayal and come to rub it in her face? The earth at her feet cracked even more, expressing her anger in the most subtle way possible. "You have the absolute worst timing, I am afraid." She didn't bother with formalities. She was angry, nothing made her happy when she was angry. Even seeing her 'friend' Cain.

"Ah, a pleasure as always, Dear Shadow." he said with his usual bow, "I take it you've heard about your sister's...decision."
He had to admit, losing his "prized mutant" didn't irritate him as much as who had taken her from him. Ian and Logan were gone as well, but he just stood there with that smile on his face as the ground ed around him. He walked up to Shadow, standing only a foot from her face. He continued to smirk.
"I guess the bad news of my visit has been officially taken care of. However, the good news."What can you tell me about...the history of the Melina family?"

((COOOOOUUUUUUUSSSSSIIIIINNNNNN. Tom, you never get it right! XD Shadow doesn't have any sisters. One brother. two female cousins.))
Shadow almost seemed to twitch when Cain mentioned Sky, the ground at hers and Cain's feet groaning as her power crushed it even more. "Yes. I heard." Was all she was willing to say on the matter. Cain hadn't come here to brag about the betrayal. He knew what Shadow would do if he even tried.
So Cain did have other reasons for coming here. He wouldn't have come all this way just to share the information of Sky's betrayal if she hadn't of known. No, Cain had ulterior motives, like usual. But when she heard the name he spoke, Milena, she blinked, her anger fading for the moment. "Milena?" She paused, more then a little surprised. "I haven't heard that name in a long time."
She stopped to think, none the less. But was all to curious herself about what Cain wanted to know about the family. "They're one of the ancient families, like the Nightshades and Ellwoods. Maybe only a thousand years old." Shadow had willingly just shared more information then intended with Cain. So the Milena's and Nightshades weren't the only mutant by blood families. "But, from what I know?" She paused, thinking. "Well, there are... legends of their founder. That she can live forever if she can find a new host before the previous ones death. No one knows for certain though, a thousand years have distorted the facts to much." Another pause.
"They aren't as strict as the Ellwoods or Nightshades were, because plenty of them married humans, or were human themselves, but something in their blood is extremely receptive to the X-gene. It's why they were able to survive for so long." Shadow paused once again, sighing. "But, from what I've heard, the line died off some years ago. The last Milena was killed, along with her husband. There was a child, but no one knows what happened to them, so it's assumed they died."
Shadow finally gave into her curiosity, an eyebrow raised as she stared intently at Cain. "I am curious though, how you know about them. They weren't as well known as my family. And why you have such an interest in them." She paused.

He didn't move as the ground groaned and ed beneath them, but couldn't help but smile at her curiosity. As she explained about the family, his curiosity on the matter grew. Then she mentioned a member of the family who could travel from body to body. Pitsha he thought to himself so it's true. I really am the last member of the Melina family. When she asked why he was so interested in the line, he chuckled.
"Facts are half true, dear Shadow. The woman can travel from a body that has recently died, or travel to objects such as dolls. Her name is Pitsha, my grandmother, and the son you speak of....is me."
Cain smiled, giving a bow as he did, "Cain Melina. The last of the Melina line."

((Milena. XD switch your i and e and you got it right.))
How did Cain know what the founder could do, with such detail? Had he... stumbled upon something? But then, he gave the woman's name. A fact even Shadow did not know, with such certainty! How did Cain know this? Then, those final words of his reached her ears. Cain was the last Milena?!
Shadow's anger was completely gone now, the ground no longer groaning in protest. Instead, only confusion, disbelief, and astonishment could be seen, all wrapped up in one. How was that possible?
Wait, then... That would explain Cain's power, if only a little. Sure, other times of mutants could develop such powerful abilities, but in a family where the mutant gene was dominate, you were likely to develop even more powerful abilities. "How do you know this..?"

(sheesh, yes Miss Chelsea. Got it, Sky is Shadow's cousin and It's Milena not Melina)
"I met her, when I went on a little..."vacation" to Russia. She told me everything, and I was reluctant to believe it myself, but she looked almost like my mother."
He didn't think it was relevant to tell her that he also had a hard time standing up to the woman, and the way she made him feel when she spoke to him could only mean that she was family. As the ground stopped groaning and ing beneath them, he smiled and changed his form to that of the island. As he stood there, the Island began pulling itself back together and mending, until it looked like nothing had happened to it.
"Mustn't have your home in such disarray."

Shadow just stared in shock. He met the founder of the Milena's? And the woman had told him he was the last of the line? Wait.. She remembered hearing reports of sightings of Cain in Russia. But he hadn't destroyed anything. This woman, Pitsha as he called her, must have convinced him otherwise, or stayed his hand in some way. She couldn't imagine what it would be like to stand in front of such a wise and ancient being.
"You'll have to speak with the Elders then." Shadow finally brought herself to speak. "I know your words to be truthful, but they will want to know this for themselves." Just by Cain being in their presence, the Elders of her family would know if Cain was speaking the truth, or lying. And depending on the answer... They would either welcome him with open arms, or kill him on the spot.

He smirked, enjoying the surprised look he had permanently placed on Shadow's face. It was one of the few times anybody would surprise the woman, and when he did, it was even more enjoyable then destroying cities. Perhaps meeting Pitsha in Russia was no doubt more beneficial then he first thought. He would be meeting the elders, Shadows relatives and possibly...a few of his own?
"Then it is only right that I should pay my respects to them."

Sky walked in as Cain and Shadow were having their conversation. She had just barely returned from that idiotic and stupid school that Rose was at. Her anger boiled at Cain being there, but she put it aside. Cain was on their side and Sky was ok with that.
"I'm back, Shadow." Sky could feel Shadow's anger kindled against her, but she took it. Sky had prepared herself for the consequences.

"Didn't you know it's wrong to walk in on an important conversation," he said towards Sky, "even one that doesn't concern you?"
Cain didn't turn when Sky stepped onto the island, he could tell that Shadow was even more angry now that she was back. He almost chuckled at the thoughts of what the consequences of Sky's betrayal would do. He turned and looked to Sky, his eyes as empty and cold as the smile that formed on his lips.
"You certainly have a way of proving your allegiance. Helping the mutants, saving Rose from her fate. How is she anyway? I hope Ian didn't hurt her...much."

Sky would be lifted clean off her feet when Shadow heard her voice, her anger suddenly rekindled. She stopped herself from literally 'squashing her like a bug'. Her family wouldn't approve of something like that, so she had to hold back. But, what little control did escape her obviously voiced her fury.
"Sky... Did you enjoy your little vacation with the X-men?"
Shadow looked angry as she moved the levitating Sky into the 'circle' of conversation. She didn't know what to do with Sky. Oh how she wanted to hurt Sky! But no... She had to hold back. She had to keep herself in control.
((Are we just gunna say they already talked with the Elders? I don't wanna rp it...))
