Rory was starting to get worried as he called out to the figure laying down in the snow. Until he saw it moving, then he couldn't stop himself, he began running for it... Her. He knew it was Freya before she even called out to him, not to mention the figure had jumped to it's feet and began running for him as well. With there being pretty much no one on the mountain but them, it was obvious it was Freya.
In only seconds she was close enough that he could see her, immediately noticing her ripped clothing and wonder if the avalanche had hit her too. Though, they weren't quite as ripped or shredded as his. As soon she put her arms around him though, he wrapped his around her, picking her up off the ground slightly and tightly hugging her as if he didn't want to let her go. "Freya..." He almost whispered, extremely happy to find her alive. "I was worried, I thought the avalanche might have gotten you." He said, still holding her tightly.

Freya clung to Rory just as tightly as he was to her. Sure, she was cold enough that it hurt to cling to him like this, but she didn't care. She was just grateful that he was there now. She knew she shouldn't have to worry about losing him, since he'd just come back to life, but she still did. "Thank God." She muttered softly.
She smiled a little against him when he spoke, yeah, thinking the one you loved might have been killed wasn't near as agonizing as knowing they had. "It didn't." She muttered, not wanting to let go of him just yet. "Don't you dare fall off any more cliffs." She wanted to hit him for making her worry like that.

Rory didn't want to let Freya go, compltely ignoring the severe blizzard going on around them. If this was even half of what Freya felt like whe she watched him die at the bank, he was surprised she still wanted to be with him. He wouldn't be able to stand feeling this way about someone who's power meant they could die and come back. It made him feel so weak, and presented a major weakness for him and he despised... Yet he loved Freya...
Rory couldn't help but laugh just a bit, "Alright, I'll make a note not to... Next time I come up to a cliff, I'll resist the urge to get hit by an avalanche and fall off, just for you." He was surprised he could be sarcast while feeling like this. After several minutes of holding her, a strong rush of wind made him realize they needed to set up camp. The place they were standing was mostly flat, "We need to take cover from the storm... Get the tent off my pack." Rory finally let Freya go, and turned around so she could unhook the tent from his back.

Freya tried to laugh at his joke, but the wind and cold made it near impossible. Why did she want to laugh though? It shouldn't have been that funny! Maybe she just wanted to get rid of all the worry that had built up inside her.
When he spoke again, she reluctantly let go of him just as he let go of her. Before trying to unhook the tent, she brought her hands to her mouth, blowing softly on them, her breath hot, trying to warm up her numb and almost frozen fingers. Finally able to move them, she fumbled at getting the tent off. "Got it..." She muttered right when she unhooked the last latch. Great, her fingers were going numb again. This was going to be a long night if this storm didn't blow over...

Rory glanced over his shoulder as Freya began to unhook the tent, noticing that she was blowing into her hands. Again, he thought it to be ironic that a women who could control fire was freezing, but mostly he was concerned. The skin that was exposed from his ripped clothes was beginning to turn a bright shade of red, including his face, not to mention the dull pain. However, he never gave it a second thought, only caring about getting Freya warm and somewhere safe.
Was this really love? To care about someone so much more than yourself? Sure, he had told himself before that he loved her, but he didn't know because he had never really been like this before. As soon as the tent was unhooked he grabbed the bag it was stored in and pulled a chord. The tent shot out onto the ground and laid itself flat, though still needed to be set up. As quickly as he could with fingers that he could barely feel, he began to set up the tent. Turns out that a blizzard is good motivation for setting up quickly as it only took a few moments.
The tent itself was somewhat small, hitting Rory about the middle of his chest, but he wasn't exactly short. However, the tent made up for it be being very long, it was made specifically for this type of enviroment. Short, long, and easily allows the wind to pass over it. He unzipped the tent door, slid off his pack and tossed it in, "Here we go lass, a five star Himalayan suite. " He yelled over the wind and motioned for Freya to get in. However, he himself stayed out in the blizzard to finish staking down the tent.

Freya watched for a moment as Rory started to set up the tent, when she started to notice a few things. Like how shredded his coat was, and how any exposed skin was turning red. If she was this cold, so was Rory! And he couldn't heat up his hands or something try and dull the effects. And then it was up and Rory was speaking to her, motioning for her to climb into the tent.
She hesitated for a moment, before putting off her bag and carefully set it in, shaking her head. A moment passed before she did as well, but, Rory would suddenly feel his body heating, as if he had just gulped down a steamy hot chocolate when he was half frozen... Which he already was, but the sensation was the same. She abandoned trying to warm herself up, focusing her attention on Rory as he started to stake down the tent. She had to be extremely careful though.... Rory had seen how she usually used the ability, roasting people alive.
It took every once of her attention to make sure that didn't happen....

As soon as Freya stepped into the tent, Rory zipped the door shut behind her and began pulling out the stakes for the tent. Suddenly though, he began to realize that he wasn't quite as cold. He could feeling the freezing wind on him, but inside he actually started to feel warm. He glanced at the tent and shook his head, though smiled softly. Freya really could be sweet when she wanted to and normally Rory loved her fiery and somewhat mean side, but apparently she wanted to take care of him as much as he wanted to take care of her.
Still smiling a little, he began hammering the stakes into the ground with a nearby rock he had picked up. After several minutes he tossed the rock away, opened the door to the tent and slid inside. Shaking the snow off of him as he did so. Thanks to Freya, his skin wasn't quite as red or numb. "There, that should hold through the night." He said, he still had his back to her, zipping up the tent door.

Freya had just curled up inside the tent, her eyes closed as she carefully concentrated. He was out longer then she'd expected, but at last he finished and she heard the zipper again as Rory entered. Slowly she opened her eyes, watching his back from over her knees as he zipped it shut.
She really did have a pitiful look about her, like a little puppy giving you those sad puppy dog eyes. She'd unzipped her large outer coat only so she could pull her knees up to her chest, so they could benefit from her now heating herself up. Her arms were wrapped around her knees tightly, her face partially buried in her arms except for her miserable eyes. She didn't intentionally mean to look at all that miserable and pitiful, but the cold certainly had a none to happy affect on her.

Finally Rory got the tent zipped up, letting out a slight sigh. It was good to be out of the wind, even though it was still fairly cold in the tent. The tent was cold, which made him realize that she had stopped heating him. On his knees, because he couldn't stand up in the tent, he turned around to see Freya looking about as pitiful as a person could look.
Rory slipped off his ripped outer coat, and the under coat as well, and moved forward to wrap them around Freya. As he wrapped them around he leaned forward and kissed her softly, "Thank ye... Fer keeping me warm, sweetheart." He softly ran his hand down her cheek before turning toward his pack.
It was hard to turn away from Freya right now, he wanted to move over and hold her and get rid of her pitiful look. He pulled out a map and his GPS, then his sleeping back and unrolled it beside Freya. Before sitting down beside her. "The avalanche moved us away from the trail..." He said as he turned on the GPS, then immediately chucked it at his bag, "...Must have crushed it in the fall." He tried to refrain from looking at Freya simply because of how badly it made him want to hold her... But why was he resisting? He unfolded the map and began studying it, though he was only wearing his bloody sweater and pants now, he didn't mind. He would rather Freya be warm than him.

Freya didn't move. At all. Just watched him in her pitiful state. That is, until he had kissed her. She moved a little then, enough to return the kiss before he had moved away to try and figure out where they were. Shifting a little more, she closed her eyes again, warming up the inside of the tent now. "You gave in first..." Was the first thing she said since coming in. Why was she remembering the 'game' now? It didn't matter anymore!
For some reason though, it was coming to mind, if only because that was the first time he'd kissed her since early that morning. Right now, she was really missing his kisses. If she weren't so cold that it was almost painful to move, she probably would have crawled over to him. But until the tent was warm enough, she'd probably just stay curled up here unless Rory made a move.
"What's the plan now? Do we even know where we are on the mountain...?" How were they going to find the building now?

Rory couldn't help but laugh at Freya. She really had to be one of the most competitive people who had ever met, other than him, if she was bringing up the "game" now. "Oh really?... Well then..." He paused for a moment thinking, then smirked, "Why don't we start round two... Right now." He said with a wink. It almost pained him to say that, with the way she looked right now it took everything he had not to kiss her. However, he still wanted to prove a point, what exactly that point was he wasn't sure, and the meaning of the 'point' was quickly disappearing the more he looked at Freya. Great, now he started "round two" and already was about to give in.
"Aye, we're on the side of it... Where exactly I'm not sure." He shook his head, the situation would be worse if this storm didn't move off by tomorrow. "That building according to the note is built into the mountain and covered by snow, if we don't walk right up to the door we may not find it." He said, scratching his head staring at the map a bit more. Trying not to look at Freya because he knew if he did he would want to hold her even more.

Freya just about scowled when he mentioned starting round two. She didn't want there to be a round two! Curse it all... For some reason this weather was making him just as competitive as her! That or he was trying to prove something.... What on earth would he be trying to prove though...?
"Well, I'd suggest just melting all the snow... but that'd take a while..." She smiled a little, but still had the air of wanting sympathy. How were they going to find the building now? Time would tell, it seemed. Hopefully they wouldn't have to resort to any extreme plans... like melting all the snow.
Freya finally sighed, noticing the looks he was giving her. If she was so frozen she'd have already lost the second round. "Sorry, but I don't think you'll be able to last a second round." If only because he was willing to move and she wasn't...

"Aye it would... Not to mention there would be a new ocean by the time you were done." He said with a laugh. There probably was enough snow on this mountains to connect to the ocean, if not that, then make a massive lake. At first he thought it would be impossible to melt all the snow anyways, but he had seen Freya's powers before and knew how powerful she was. In fact, she could probably do it in just a few hours too.
"No, we'll find it... Don't worry, I've done stuff like this before." He had never told Freya that he had done anything but been a reporter in New York for a while. So he knew she had to wonder how he knew these things, such as how to kill people so easily, and disappear in the shadows. Thankfully however, she never seemed to ask.
Rory smirked when she said he couldn't last. Did she really think he couldn't? After glancing at her again... He would have to agree with her, he couldn't. If nothing else he would try to last a bit longer. "Oh I'll win, don't ye worry." He said with a wink, tossing the map onto his bag, he didn't want to read it now. Glancing at his sweater he realized why he was so cold, there was hardly any of it left. So he moved away from Freya, kneeling by his bag and slipped off his shirt, revealing a multitude of scratches. It was a good thing he had packed a few extra sweaters.

Freya finally laughed, shaking her head a little. "Yeah, probably. Not to mention it'd probably be all covered in snow again in a matter of minutes..." It seemed to be snowing a lot, more then Freya had first anticipated. Not to mention it would still be a strain to do something on such a big scale like that. It'd be completely exhausting, and no doubt Rory would have had to carry her the rest of the trip because of it.
It wasn't that Freya didn't want to know why Rory always seemed to know these things. He just... didn't talk about his past. At all. So, she didn't question it. He'd tell her when he was ready, after all. Or just not at all. It didn't matter either way.
She smiled a little when he announced he'd win. No he wouldn't. He wouldn't even last more then a few more minutes, that was a given. With a sigh, she noticed all the scraps across his torso. "Do they hurt?" He'd taken a far worse beating then she had. After all, she'd only tripped on a bunch of rocks, and he'd fallen off a cliff. Freya quickly started to heat the air inside the tent, so she could discard the big heavy coats she was being forced to wear. It most certainly wasn't warm in here, but at least it was warmer then outside. Sighing again, she shrugged off the coats, tossing them to where the door of the tent was.

"Probably." Rory said with a laugh, it had been snowing a lot ever since they got there. Then again, he half expected it, it was that time of year up here, or so he read before they came. It was a lot like this at the Agency complex, always snowing, always dark. Really dismal actually, it really could keep a person's spirits down.
Suddenly it started to get warm in the tent and he saw the coats Freya had been huddled up in by the door. "No, not really... What about you, are you ok?" He asked, grabbing a shirt and laying down on top of his sleeping bag by Freya, though he hadn't put on his shirt yet. His body was wet from the snow that had gotten in through the holes in his shirt, and he was letting it dry first. "Heck of a trip, eh? Gotta thank Xavier when we get back." He said somewhat sarcastically.
