Rose didn’t know what had happened to Cain, he’d vanished when she’d tried to chase after him in anger. Of course she was still angry, but it was starting to head towards frustration now. She didn’t know where she was going anymore, just moving. Getting away from the people that were causing all this.
She didn’t know where she was.
Rose finally stopped running, curling up in the darkest place she could. But when it was the middle of the day, there weren’t many dark places one could go. She’d finally settled for a construction site. The bad thing? There were a few construction workers there… Curled up against a pillar she held her head, trying to get rid of the pain caused by her own emotions and thoughts. She wanted to just destroy everything so there was nothing left to hurt her…
One of the construction workers approached her, a questioning look on his face. ”You shouldn’t be here, litt-“ He let out a high pitched scream, cut off as something ripped through his chest. Balls of dark matter ripped him apart like it was nothing. Before the others could call for help they were all dead, killed in gruesome ways, as if torn apart by weapons that didn’t exist…
What was she doing?! She’d just killed those men! She started falling unstable again, hiding her face with her hands and hair. “Oh God…” The whole construction site started to tremble, Rose’s powers going out of control, attacking whatever it could. She really was a murderer… A monster…

Parker came along with Ian in his search for Rose. They walked along the streets, Parker tuning out all the minds that he heard. That was the trouble with his power...he heard EVERYONE. But his recent severe training had put him at a much higher level than he was before. But that just increased his awareness of other minds. Something he didn't like very much.
"Do you really think Cain took her to the MRF building? Maybe they went back to the island. Cain and Shadow are allies, after all." But that wasn't just it. He knew that Shadow was Rose's old mentor and if her powers really were released...Shadow would do anything to get Rose back in her hands again and train her to kill everyone. And that would be BAD.

Ian wanted to go after Rose on his own, but after an argument with Parker that almost led to mind control, Ian gave in. He didn't want people messing with his mind anymore, he had enough of that from Sky entering his mind when he was dieing, and tormenting him before he came back from being evil. He pulled out a picture that he had gotten from his room, it was a picture of Rose and him on their first date, they looked so happy. Ian sighed, reminding himself that that wasn't Rose anymore, he couldn't even tell Parker what had happened when Sky was in his mind.
"I don't know. They probably could've gone back to the island by now, but let's check the building just in case." he looked to Parker, knowing that he had worked on his training, "You picking up any familiar minds?"

Parker nodded as he acknowledged what Ian just said. But immediately when Ian asked him, he definitely picked up a familiar mind. And just who they were looking for: Rose.
"It's Rose! She's nearby..."
Parker ran toward the source of her mind. It was definitely her! It was his cousin that they were looking for! But his joy came to a screeching halt when he heard screams. Soon, he came upon a corpse of a construction worker and saw a girl huddled against a corner. He hesitantly walked up to her.
"Rose?"

Alex was with the Ian and parker she hadn’t said much to them but she was going to help and she wasn’t in this life time going to let Ian go and get rose without her. When parker had said found her she fallowed him staying back a little.
She saw the dead bodies around the controsion sight yea this had to be the work of rose she watched form a distaces as parker ran up to the girl. She just hoped he didn’t just get him self killed.

Ian was right behind Parker when he said he had picked up Rose. He looked around at the construction site, having seen the bodies mangled and blown to pieces. It would have made him nautious if he hadn't been in these situations before. He took a few steps with Alex behind him and stopped, placing a hand on his young friend's shoulder.
"Stay here, ok? Things might get dangerous." he looked to Alex, hoping she understood.
It's true that Alex and him had been in dangerous situations before, but he knew how powerful Rose had become, having experienced it first hand. He didn't want Alex to have to go through the same thing, and he cautiously stepped up behind Parker, keeping his distance. He felt different inside when he saw her, part of him was happy she was alright, another was angry for her almost him, and the third was worried that something had happened to her.
"Is she alright?"

There was more then one corpse, there were close to a dozen, all killed as if impaled or smashed, like Ian had been but to a higher degree. It looked like a battle field, but there were no dead enemies among them... Just Rose.
It was unmistakable her, even if her face was hidden by her long hair and both hands, crouching in the corner, the farthest she could get from the men she'd killed. She hadn't left though for one reason. To remind herself what happened when people were near her...
The sound of voices had a not at all reassuring reaction from Rose, especially when she recognized the voices. One was Parker.... the other.... Ian?! She violently flinched, pressing herself even tighter against the wall. Ian was dead! They'd told her! Sky had checked! He was dead! How... How could she hear his voice now...?
"Go away..... Leave me alone..." She was muttering to herself, her body starting to tremble in horror. Was she going mad, hallucinating to hear Ian's voice? Or had he come back to haunt her? "Go away, go away, go away...." She kept repeating herself, black matter starting to swirl around her, taking all sorts of shapes, weapons, shields, anything that could be used to defend herself. All the while, she never looked up to see if she were truly imagining the voices or if they were really there....

Parker's eyes widened in horror as he saw Rose's mind. The blocks were gone! Completely! This was bad...and what made it worse is that she was completely unstable. She was lashing out at anything that terrified her. But something was different about Rose.
When Parker looked deeper into Rose's mind, he took a sharp intake. Rose had been training with Shadow! That's why she had become so powerful...and Shadow must have purposely let Rose go. His eyes narrowed in fury. It was so typical of his sister to do something like that, letting Rose go off into the world by herself when she was completely terrified. His hatred for Shadow just grew and he knew that he needed to stop Rose from killing anyone else. Even if he had to use his power.
"Rose...you need to stop doing this. This isn't you. Please remember!" Parker exclaimed. He didn't dare walk closer, seeing Rose's power manifesting itself. But then he saw her thoughts when she heard Ian. Rose thought she had killed Ian? He took advantage of this.
"Ian's alive, Rose. He's right here...you didn't kill him."

"What's going on with her?"
All feelings he had of her were gone, all but the feeling of complete worry. Rose looked scared, like a little girl lost in a big world. He looked to Parker, seeing the shocked look turning to anger. Something must've happened, and judging by the hate in his friend's eyes it had something to do with Shadow. He then looked to Rose again, walking over and kneeling down next to Rose.
"Rose, you didn't kill me. Aaron saved me, and I'm here to help you. Here." he pulled out the picture he had taken, sliding it towards her, "I want you to look at it, you don't have to look at anything else. I made a promise to protect you, and I'm still here."

Rose didn't move, nor look up still, just stayed their curled up against the wall, trying to make herself look as small as possible. Maybe her hallucinations would leave then...
She needed to stop doing this? She wasn't doing anything! No... That wasn't true. She didn't know what she was doing. Everything was just a jumbled mess inside her right now. People who had known her before were here... how had they found her? Then she remembered.... Parker was a telepath. He was in her head... Right now...
"Get out of my head!" The dark matter started to go wild, slamming into whatever it could reach, support beams, walls. The whole construction started to shake from her torture. Her power wasn't reaching to harm the two men yet though, but it obviously wanted to, flying around dangerously close to them.
There was Ian's voice again... He was moving closer.. He wasn't dead?! But how?! The name Aaron triggered nothing in her memory. And then that promise again... Only this time, she reacted much differently. "And if you have to protect me from myself...?" Was that why they were here?! Had they come to stop her? But those words... they triggered something else in her mind as well. Finally she was remembering things...
It was the first time they'd met, she was at the lake and Shadow had tried to kill her, throwing her out into the water and weighing her down with rocks.
Rose started gasping, as if struggling for breath, her whole body trembling violently, pulled into the memory so deeply it was like she was reliving it..
And... a stranger had dove in to rescue her. She didn't know until he took her back to the school what his name was... Ian Snyder.
Rose held onto her head harder, still trembling, why were these things coming back to her now?!

Alex didn’t lesson to well to Ian as soon as he was out of sight she moved closer to where they where Rose was Alex was just around the corner she chould see and hear everything that was going on she but she was deep enough in the shadows that the others couldn’t see her. When she saw Ian pull out a picture she gave a little smile she didn’t think this was the right time to have her look at pictures but it was something.
Seeing rose scared like this made Alex hart drop she had always liked Rose and looked up to her. Form the shadows Alex made rose hear a voice in her ears it was Alexs voice she was trying to clam her down
“Rose please clam down sweetie just look up see that picture that Ian just put on the ground next to you Its allright if it doesn’t mean anything right now we just want to help you figure things out”

Parker backed up just a bit, to let Ian take control of Rose's situation. Apparently Rose still didn't like him, after his little outburst when she had first woken up. He was still annoyed by the fact that she hadn't remembered things yet, but he knew the mind was tricky. Parker then slightly slumped in frustration when Rose mentioned him being in her head.
"Rose, I can't help that. No more than your sister can." He avoided the dark matter swirling around them. He hoped Ian would calm Rose down before things got worse. But then, Rose's mind flooded his. Some of her memories were coming back...Parker could literally see through Rose's eyes because her emotions were so strong. It was as if he was in it...
He stood by the lake, seeing his sister trying to weigh Rose down with rocks, trying to kill her. Then someone blew past him and his eyes widened. It was...Ian?! She was finally remembering Ian...it was her first memory of him. He watched in awe as Ian saved Rose from the lake.
"Rose...remember Ian! He was the one that saved you! He wasn't trying to kill you."

"Yeah, that's right, Rose. I saved you from Shadow. It was the first time we met." he said smiling a bit, "I was happy just knowing you. I didn't care whether you were part of some powerful family. You were Rose, someone I cared for...someone I love."
He smiled as he discovered her remembering the first day they met. Parker wouldn't have mentioned it if she didn't remember. He heard an explosion from nearby and saw barrels fly everywhere. A dark matter had begun exploding all over the place, destroying the the site. This was getting bad...real bad.
"Rose, listen to me. You have to try and calm down, all this is happening because you're scared. I know what it's like, I've been afraid before, but you have to believe me when I say you don't have to be afraid anymore."
He could hear creaking nearby. He looked over and saw that one of the support beams in a nearby platform was fractured. If they didn't get out of there soon, all this would've been for nothing.

Rose could feel herself starting to relax. Why was she so afraid? What did she have to fear right now? Cain? No.. She felt only rage towards him. Shadow? Sky? She felt no fear towards anyone! It was what was happening to her, having bits and pieces of memories that didn't fit together, not understanding the emotions she was having... Fighting back those urges to lash out and kill the ones causing this confusion and pain inside her.
But... She didn't have to fear Ian... right? If the memory was real... then he had saved her life at one point. Nothing to fear... Until he finished speaking.
You were Rose, someone I cared for.
No, she wasn't the same person. He didn't believe it, so why should she? She was the Rose he'd known, the one he cared for, but not anymore. He only wanted to help her to bring that Rose back. Ian had really picked the wrong words to use...
"You just want... That Rose back. You don't care what happens to me as long as you get your wish..." Even if it meant getting rid of this Rose to preserve the memory of the old.. More dark matter surrounded her, following the curves of her body, as if like armor. They couldn't hurt her if she protected herself. Suddenly she heard another voice.. One that she knew the others couldn't hear. Someone... Was messing with her head again?! "Stay out of my head!" She half screamed, curling up even tighter into a ball, the destruction getting worse.
Rose wanted to listen to reason, to calm down, but her time with Shadow had erased much of her will to ever be calm. Shadow had drilled it into her head. The X-men were not to be trusted. She used to be a student there, and they didn't want the scar of a former student falling like her. They'd come after her... to erase her existence. Kill... or be killed...

He looked to Parker and Alex, the two that didn't have to be there with him, but were. They were his friend, and then he looked to Rose again. No...not this time., he thought, then looked back to Parker.
"Parker, you need to get yourself and Alex out of here. This place is coming down and we don't have much time left."
If Parker looked into his mind, which the curious boy would probably do, he would see what Ian was planning. He was going to stay here and help Rose, or he would die with her. He then crawled into the tube that Rose was in, keeping his distance from her. He looked to her as the explosions got worse, the shell around her not blocking her from how he saw her.
"Rose, I don't care about that. So you're not the old Rose, but that doesn't matter to me. You don't have to remember things if you don't want to. I just want you with me again, old Rose or not. You can destroy everything around you, but I'm your bodyguard, and whether you want me to or not, I'm not leaving you again."
