Storm was just about losing her mind as she looked over all the paperwork that she had neglected to do while she was busy worrying about the X-men. Uniforms needed mending, the jet needed to be examined and then fixed, there were danger room sessions to schedule, and many other tasks she needed to do. On top of that, she also needed to do paperwork having to do with the actual school.
For about an hour, she hunched over her desk, scratching notes on the paperwork that was in front of her and making corrections. He neck and shoulders had begun to ache when she heard a knock at the door. She exhaled a sigh, part out of relief and the other part out of annoyance. She needed a break from papers for a while, even if it was only for a few moments, but she also wanted to be done with the paperwork as soon as possible, which wouldn’t be any time soon even if she worked non-stop. However, she accepted the break as it came to her. Then, another thought occurred to her. It could have been Faith, coming to yell at Storm about the paperwork that she was currently going through. If that were the case, the meeting would not end well.
“Come in.” she hollered at the door, sitting up and stretching out her neck and back in the process. Her neck popped and she winced. It wasn’t that she had hurt herself, she just hated the sound for some odd reason.

On the other side of the door, Logan heard some noises coming from the other side and wondered what Storm was doing in there. He reached up and knocked on the door, hearing some more movement then Storm hollering for him to come in. He smirked and opened the door, wondering what she was doing that made her sound irritable. When he saw the mass amounts of papers on the desk, he figured out why. He closed the door behind him and sat on the bed across from her chair.
"Sounds like you're having a fun day."

When Logan was on the other side of the door, a wave of relief washed over her. Partly because it meant that it wasn’t awkward for them to be alone in the same room anymore. However, she was still itching to get that kiss.
“It’s fucking fantastic.” she replied in an irritated tone. It was very seldom that Storm cursed at all so for her to casually use one of the words that was considered to be the most insulting was a very rare thing. Her cheeks reddened a bit and she smiled, feeling pretty certain that Logan wouldn’t care about her language, but might be surprised by it.
She stood to stretch her legs, extended her upper body in a stretch and circled to the front of her desk, where she sat in front of Logan, tempted to curl up on his lap instead, but she resisted. “So, what brings you here? Did Faith think you needed a good talking to?”

And he was surprised, more then that. Storm was the last person he thought he'd hear words like that coming from. And she seemed so calm and collected, but from the look of the desk it seemed he was way off today. When she moved to face the front of the desk, he caught her eyes again and couldn't help but think of her wanting the kiss earlier. He just smiled a little when she asked why he was here.
"No, she didn't send me for a talking. I came on my own."
Getting up, he walked over and moved behind Storm. He placed his hands on her shoulders and gently began to massage the muscles on her shoulder and between her shoulders and neck. One thing he prided himself on over his years of living was learning how to give a great massage. If he wasn't an X-Men, or a mutant, he could've taken that up as a profession...if he wanted to.
"You just seemed more than a little stressed after that incident in the meeting."

“Oh really? Why’s that? I’m already trying to convince Kaia to not join Paragon so you don’t have to worry about our little miss ‘Kiss of Death’.”
It was then that she noticed she had associated them with a kiss again and she felt utterly embarrassed, but she did a fantastic job of concealing her humiliation. However, when Logan was behind her, working out knots in her shoulders, she was more surprised that anything. His kneading fingers hit a sensitive spot and she held back a wince.
“You don’t have to do this, Logan.” she stated, picking up one of his hands with her own and turning to face him. However, when she met his gaze she was once again tempted to close the distance between them and seal it with a kiss. She didn’t. But that didn’t stop her from smelling her breath mingling with his, her hand still upon his hand.

"Don't worry about Kaia. Hank's working on a way for her to be able to control her poison. At least...that's what he says."
He knew Hank was the kind of doctor and scientist that could figure out anything, but he wasn't sure that the doctor would be able to come up with anything. He could feel Storms body loosening up as he worked out the knots in her shoulder. But when she turned and took his hand, locking eyes with him, he pretty much froze. He could smell the scent of her breath along with the rest of her, and with her touch and eyes it sent chills down his spine. After a moment, he turned her gently back around so her back would be facing him and continued to work on her shoulders.
"If I don't do it, then you'll be a wreck during the day and never relax."

She smirked at the mention of Hank attempting to help her control her poison. “Yeah, since she tried doing the last thing he told her she had definitely been able to control it. She’s still poisonous to touch, only now she can concentrate her poison into a very powerful acid.” She picked up a gnarled piece of metal to show it to Logan. “This was my door knob before she ran into my office sobbing because she completely destroyed one of Hank’s books on accident and she was afraid he would be angry. Honestly, I don’t even think he would notice it was gone, but it took a while for the acid to fade away.”
When Logan turned her back around, he pressed her sensitive area again which was probably caused by a bone being out of place due to her most recent danger room activity. Concealing the pain he was actually causing her, she pulled away from him and stood to go back to her chair. “I’m fine, Logan. Really.” It was right when she said really that the toe of her shoe caught onto the corner of her desk. In an attempt to steady herself , she rotated her body, but ended up falling on her back instead of her face. She hit the ground with a noise much louder than she thought her body would cause. For a few seconds, she stared up at the ceiling, trying to figure out what had happened before she burst out laughing, partly out of being tired and partly because she imagined that he fall looked quite amusing.

He gave the piece of metal a curious look. It was definitely a doorknob at one point, but now looked like something that got chewed up by a giant wolf. Storm explained it to be Kaia's doing when she melted the door after ruining one of Hank's books. He smiled, knowing that Hank would probly go out and by a new one even if Kaia destroyed it. If anything Hank would just laugh it off and try to help her more.
When Storm shrugged him off again, he watched her stand up awkwardly and fall to the ground, doing a 180 and landing on her back. He smirked and stood over her, looking down as she started laughing. He held out a hand to help her up.
"I can tell you're doing great."

She laughed and shook her head. “I haven’t slept in forty-eight hours. Cut me a bit of slack, Logan.”
Ororo accepted his hand and allowed him to pull her onto her feet. Once she was on her feet, time seemed to freeze. She was so close to him. She could practically feel his heart thudding against his chest she was so close to him. For a moment, Storm wondered if she was dying. A few memories invaded her mind. Times when Logan had caught her staring at him or when she had caught him staring at her. He had brushed her cheek with his thumb before going out to find Jubilee and Tokra in the woods. Mere seconds ago time froze when their eyes locked she had thought they were going to kiss. She had hoped it would happen so many times, but it never had. She swallowed a lump in her throat, her hand still gently laced in his. It was then that she remembered how awkward it had been when she had said she wanted him to kiss her. Convinced that he would not feel the same way, she released his hand and nervously pulled a lock of hair behind her ear. She smiled with her mouth, but her eyes screamed in heartbroken agony, wishing he could feel the intense pull that attached her to him.

He smirked when she said she hadn't had much sleep, and pulled her to her feet. His smile immediately faded as time seemed to freeze between them. His eyes locked with hers as her fingers laced between his. He began to think of all the things that had happened between them, and when she pulled her hand away from him and smiled, his hand reached up and gently touched her cheek. Still staring into her eyes, he leaned in and kissed her lips softly, feeling an immediate shock run down his spine.

Storm was about to sit back down and get back to her paperwork when Logan kissed her. At first, she wondered why Logan was kissing her, but it wasn’t until that thought fluttered from her head that she actually realized that he was kissing her. She pulled away for a second to catch her breath and compose herself before biting back a grin, giving him just enough time to feel a little bit uncomfortable before she looked back to him.
“It’s about time.” she grabbed the front of his shirt and pulled him towards her, reuniting their lips, her paperwork and lack of sleep far from thought.

The kiss was more then what he had expected, but when she pulled back and looked at him, he started to think it was a bad idea. But after she made her comment and smiled, he smiled back, being pulled by her into another kiss. He put his arms around her, holding her close to him as he deepened the kiss. Everything that had happened that day leaving his mind completely.

Storm's hand snaked off of his chest and around his neck, pulling their bodies closer together. Her heart beat wildly within her chest and while her their mouths worked with each other. When she finally forced herself to pull away, she locked her gaze with him and swalled a lump in her throat.
"Did you feel it too then?" she questioned.

When her arm went around his neck, he pulled her tightly against him, deepening the kiss. It seemed to last forever, which was fine to him, but after a moment he felt her pull away. Though their arms were still around each other, and their eyes were still locked together, he enjoyed just being with her at that moment.
"Of course I did. I wouldn't have kissed you otherwise."

"So...you just woke up one morning and suddenly everything was different? Like...this had already happened."
She was going to speak more, but she bit back a smile before a small laugh escaped the breech of the mouth.
"I may have to ask you to forgive me. It just seems like this was prolonged far too long." Before he could have time to question her, her mouth was on his again and she had elevated to the tips of her toes, making them closer to the same height. Her fingers wrung in his hair and her heart began to pound in her chest again.
