It took him a while to get there, but once he had arrived, he saw the ruins. His factory was destroyed, the building was ruined, and Jackie was nowhere to be found. Nothing made him this angry, but those three combined with being beaten not just by Tim, but by David and that girl as well.
His anger and hatred towards them all was only fueled by the fact that he had lost his army. Even his sentinels were destroyed, and he had no way to make them now. The adamantium, the scientist, and Logan, three sources of the precious metal were gone. His only hope was a piece of machinery that hopefully had survived.
As he dug through the wreckage, using his powers to move everything out of the way, he had finally found it. The capsule he had used on Ian, Alex and many others. The smile that shown on his face was one that would make even Sky and Shadow worry. He would use the machine to make himself more powerful, and nothing would be able to stop him then.

Travis stood in the darkest part of what was left of Cain’s factory. His power was activated hiding him entirely from the soul other occupant in the rubble of the once glorious Japanese factory. Cain Milena, he had been wondering when he was going to figure out what his last name was, was the only other living person here. Travis had just come to see if there was any information that survived that he could obtain.
Unlike most people however Travis just wanted the information just to have it. He wasn’t interested in joining a war. All he wanted was information, and if he got it he was happy. Imagine his surprise when the owner of the factory turned up.
As Travis continued to watch Cain he knew that someone would want this information, that was if they were willing to pay for it, and he had a feeling that the x-men would be willing to pay his price for this information. If he bothered to tell them.

Cain didn't know he was being watched, nor did he know if the machine actually worked. There were many scratches and tears in the machine, but the console was intact, though he could tell it only had one more push of power to make one more transformation, and that was all Cain really needed at that point. A few punches in the controls, and he stepped into the machine.
The door closed behind him, and he could feel the machine coming to life. He thought about Sky and his child, then the people who had defeated him on countless occasions. He thought of Rose and the Nightmares, picturing his vegeance on X-Men and the Brotherhood. The lights came on and he could feel himself changing.
Outside, the machine began to spark and flare in different places, smoke from the tears turning into small explosions. The console was the next to go, the wires frying inside of it, causing the screen to burst. The capsule flared a bright light from inside, causing an overload that caused the capsule to explode sending dust and debris in every direction.
What was left was a patch of dark ash and smoke rising from the center. Nothing happened for a while, but then a figure began to appear from the smoke, looking like smoke himself. The smoke began to remove itself slowly from the form, showing Cain once again. But he was different, his skin paler then before, his eyes darker and empty, void of emotion. He looked himself over and smiled, a chuckle coming from him which grew into dark laughter.
"Now," he spoke, his voice more cold and just as emotionless, "it's time to show the world what really is."

Travis had to quickly cover his face when the machine started to explode and the air started to fill up with smoke. Travis was surprised the machine had actually worked much less survived the destruction of the factory. Although it destroyed his original goal of hacking into what was left of the computers to access any information that had survived the destruction, but the explosion took out what was left of the computers.
Travis had to hold back the disappointed sigh that was threading to escape his lips less Cain heard him. Though his power would likely block the sound from reaching Cain’s ears he wasn’t about to take a chance. Not when he was up against Cain. Against Cain he wouldn’t stand a chance.

Cain looked back over the mess, but something out of the corner of his eye drew his attention in Travis's direction. He didn't see the man, but for a moment thought he saw someone standing there. He growled softly, chalking it up to the effects of the machine, which had now done it's work on both his body and his mind.
He chuckled, smiling at what he could do now, then began walking out from the rubble. A few more steps out of the rubble, and the wind began to pick up. He smiled, allowing the wind to blow against him, and within moments his body began to dissipate, disappearing like sand blown on the desert. After a few seconds he was gone, off to pay a trip to the island of his home before finishing the job he had started.
