Travis was sitting in his desk chair with his feet crossed on the desk watching something on his computer. He knew he should be working, he had a pile of information to go through and sort, but he knew most of it would be trivial, unimportant things. If someone had actually gathered something that was worth selling they would come to him directly. But he was the boss, he could do whatever he wanted, no one could tell him what to do.

Cole leand on to the door way of the office door and watched Travis for a moment he and Travis had know each other for years and him now being the big boss man really didn’t mean anything to him he’s still treat him the same even if he could get rid of him before Cole even knew he hoped that Travis wouldn’t let the power go to his head and start treating people like crap but this was Travis, the most important thing to him was information it seemed like and he wouldn’t make enemies just for fun infact he’d most likely be better for this job then anyone else who could take it. Cole looked around the room and smiled happy this wasn’t his office he hated the big shiny things that came with titles “Man they sure do spend the big bucks on you don’t they, hope all this stuff isn’t going to her head kid, what are you doing anyway” Cole had a habit of asking questions mostly because he was getting information and no mater if someone lied or not he’d always get the information he needed

Travis only looked up when he heard his friend speak. He then smiled and pointed to the computer. “Hey, it’s House.” He then motioned for his long time friend to come in. When Cole entered his office Travis lifted his feet off his desk. He then paused his show and turned the computer screen to something that resembled business. “Yup they do. I don’t even like half the stuff they sent up. They sent me the stuff Morris wanted, thinking I was like him and would want the stupid stuff.”
Duff Morris was the previous boss and both Cole and Travis had been happy when he died. The doctors said it was old age, but both Travis and Cole suspected that someone wasn’t happy with Morris either. “So what brings you out of your humble to mine?”

Cole gave a small smile when Travis motioned for him to come in shacking his head when he said that he was watching “house” he looked around the room again as Travis explained about the stuff the items in the office did seem a little Morris like cole picked up an object off the desk rolling it around in his fingures trying to figure out why someone would need the object and what was it was to begin with. “your nothing like Morris its amazing how people hear can be so judgmental about someone if there anything anyone should know around hear is everyone is different in there own ways and when there a power change, the new boss isn’t going to be like the old…unless you plan on acting like Morris.. are you” Cole felt like the answer would be no but it helped to have the reinsrurise that there where no plans in being like Morris it wasn’t like he was a bad man he just seemed to think he was god and could get away with what ever there where other things Cole didn’t quite like about Morris but it felt with his supporters around even from the grave he still had some power hear. Cole looked up form the object that he was holding “I was just in the neighborhood and hadn’t seen you in seace the you became big old boss man figured I’d drop by and say hello”

Travis watched his friend pick one of the mystery items off the desk. Travis didn’t even have any idea what it was, and for Travis not know what something was was very rare. Travis then picked up one of his hand puzzles off the desk and started playing with it. “Usually successors are like their predecessors because they want to make sure that they keep things the way they’ve been.” Travis paused for a second before a small wicked smile crossed his face. “I bet it was a surprise to most of Morris’s men when I took over after he died. Most people weren’t expecting me to, so they already had this stuff premade for one of Morris’s top operatives thinking that one of them was most likely to take over.”
When Cole asked him if he was planning to act like Morris he sat up and looked a t him with disgusted shock. “What? No. never. What made you think I would?” Travis hated Morris, and it was very hard to make Travis generally hate someone, but somehow Morris had done it.
“In the neighborhood? right. Your office is only a couple of floors down.”
