Sookie wasn’t fond of the heat. Not dry heat anyway. Though she lived in England most of her life, her family would always go to Florida for holidays. That was a climate she could have gotten accustom to. It wasn’t that she didn’t adore her home, it was just that it was too soggy for her liking. She licked her nose, laying on the dirt as she lazily glanced around at what was happening.
A group of women praying caught her eye and she stood, sniffing the dusty ground before sneezing most of the debris out. She walked forward, being sure to stay out of trouble. She had been hoping that coming to Saudi Arabia would have been fun from a dog’s perspective, but she was wrong. She missed her thick coat of white fur that she normally wore in her wolf form, but she knew it would be unlikely to see a wolf here.
A stupid man tripped over her and she growled at him over her shoulder before pressing forward. She decided that him falling on his face was enough notion for him to watch where he was walking.

Sookie paused when she saw people flooding into the streets. She knew better than to go rushing into a crowd so she sat down and simply watched the masses pass. However, dispite her efforts to stay out of the way, she apparently blocked a large man’s path. He yelled at her, what he said she didn’t know, and before she knew what else was coming, his foot slammed into her stomach and she flew out of his way.
She shook her head, her ears flopping around as she did so. Her eyes found the man who had assaulted her and she growled. No one kicked her and got away with it. She dove into the people, snarling in a rage, her nose finding the man in an instant. Before long, she was on top of him, teeth bared and her eyes angry. Her teeth sunk into his arm and she began ripping it around like a chew toy. He screamed and tried to shake her off, but she wouldn’t move.
Once she was content, she dropped his arm and climbed back onto his chest, growling down at him before barking at him and dashing away.

Sookie brought her pace up when she noticed someone was following her. Having such a good nose and ears aided her in this. She rounded a corner into an ally and behind a garbage can. She could only think of a few reasons why someone would be following her. To get revenge on the idiot who had kicked her, to tease her, or because she was suspected of stealing something.
She waited, knowing that it wouldn’t be long before the person following her showed up. She knew that a dog wouldn’t be that intimating. She concentrated on her powers and shifted into her white wolf form, being much larger than the other animal she had been portraying. Her teeth were sharper, her jaw stronger, her senses sharper. Only an idiot wouldn’t run from her.
The person advancing her came into view and she snarled loudly, her muscles tense, ready to strike if she needed to.

Sookie looked for anything she could use to cover herself up. The major disadvantage to her power was that she couldn’t shift her clothes with her so whenever she was in her animal form she was as naked as a jay bird. It proved to be irritating more than once.
She found a piece of rough fabric that would at least cover up the important parts. Her fur sunk back into her skin and her human form came out. Sookie quickly wrapped the fabric around her.
“Let’s make this quick. That guy was far from innocent. I probably have a few broken ribs because of that son of a bitch. Believe it or not I’m very careful about what I do and I’m more than capable of taking care of myself. Now, if you’ll excuse me.”
She dropped the fabric just as her dog form came back. She sat down and scratched the back of her neck just as someone passed behind Lorelei.

Sookie cocked her head at the woman before barking and shaking her head. There wasn’t much that they could do to her as a dog if she got away from them, which she always did. Sookie was fast, even when she wasn’t shifted.
“I can take care of myself, thank you very much. And just because I’m a female that doesn’t mean I’m going to take shit. Every once in a while a grain of sand will get stuck in your eye and all I can think of it meaning is karma. It’s a good thing I have no intention of being human around here so I’m sure me being a miss-spoken woman won’t be a problem.”
She reached up with her hind leg and scratched her ear before putting her head into the air and trotting past Lorelei and back out into the street. Sookie didn’t understand why Lorelei was being so defensive over the man. She didn’t know him. She hadn’t seen what had happened, short of Sookie attacking him. She was sure that if he had kicked her in the ribs she wouldn’t be so understanding.

((Don't sweat it. Sookie kind of is a bitch and she has a short fuse so it's not unorthodox for other characters to not like her.))
