When the woman gave, a wave of relief washed over Ferdinand, a bright toothy smile filling his face. When she mentioned food, his interests were peaked.
"Bitch lady. I wouldn't go quite that far. I mean, obviously you aren't a bitch, otherwise you wouldn't have given me the opportunity to 'hang' with you."
Smiling and suckling on his cigarette, the Brazilian mutant hummed softly some childhood tune that plagued his mind suddenly. As he walked beside her he was hit with something very important that he had forgot.
"Oh, how rude of me! I forgot to introduce myself! The name is Ferdinand, Ferdinand Rodriguez-Moran."
Turning to face her and make eye contact as they strolled on, he smiled genuinely and interestedly. Obviously he had found this girl to be something sort of special, even if it was just her nature that he found funny or refreshing. Ferdinand got very tired with the same old same old so when someone new came around, he often grew attached for a time.
"So tell me about yourself! Or, if you would rather, I could tell you about me."

Sookie arched a brow at this, turning slowly to face him with a confused expression on her face.
“I can be a bitch, don’t even think I can’t, but right now Bitch Lady is the woman I pick pocketed in the park.”
One of her eyebrows arched when he introduced himself.
“Sookie. And no, I’m not a fang banger telepath from Louisiana.” she paused and laughed lightly. “Sorry, I imagine that you’re not exactly the Charlene Harris type.”
The first café she saw had a no smoking sign outside and she couldn’t help but smile.
“This looks like a good place. I’m from England. I spent most of my time in America though so most so I don’t exactly have an accent.”
It was clear she wasn’t going to spill her guts to him. She walked into the café and ordered a table for two and waited.

The ice had been thoroughly broken and Ferdinand now felt a bit more comfortable in Sookie's presence. Noticeably, she had also warmed up rather fast, her cold hard exterior nearly completely melted away.
As they came upon a small cafe, Ferdinand at first did not even notice the "no smoking" sign and was a bit more intrigued by the girl's literary examples. It was nice to know that other people were well educated.
"England, eh? Wonderful city. I'm from Brazil and have since traveled endlessly. I'm one of those people that can't sit still."
Slyly winking, he halted himself at the door, eyeballing the sign and defiantly taking a powerful huff on his cigarette before marching in. Almost child-like, Ferdinand saw one of the waiting service about to speak. Throwing his hand up to silence the female, Ferdinand smiled sensually and sashayed his way over to her. Speaking in near flawless French he told the woman that he had a medical condition where he would go into shock should he be denied of any nicotine. Promising to keep the smoke near nonexistent, Ferdinand returned himself to Sookie, making sure that his cigarette gave off no smoke by using his mutant powers.

She arched a brow at him and looked him up and down, scoffing slightly.
“Brazil, huh? I thought that the boys there were supposed to be golden tan and football junkies.”
When he was still puffing away on his cigarette, she couldn’t help but to be slightly annoyed.
“You know, I suggested here for the no smoking sign. Do you have something against clean air or something? You’re lucky to not need an iron lung.”
She picked up a menu and looked it over, crossing her legs under the table, bouncing her foot inside her black combat boot aimless.
“I don’t really cozy up to people that quick so you go ahead and ramble away.”
